    As a die-hard Souls fan you have no idea how happy this game makes me. I did not start playing Souls games until last year but when I did I instantly fell in love with them.     Bluepoint Games are the masters of remasters/remakes.
    Sony needs to acquire this studio ASAP! The talent this studio has would go hand and hand exceptionally with SIE WWS!

    Fantastic game originally, and even better with the QOL changes introduced by Bluepoint. Couple that with what is basically the removal of loading screens and that iconic Bluepoint Polish and we have the progenitor of the Souls genre in top form.

    This game is getting review bombed as most of you will know, I just can’t believe people go to these lengths and try to ruin gaming. So what if we play different consoles?The point of gaming is to have fun not review bomb every game that’s exclusive to a certain console.

    A masterpice, Bluepoint have done great job reamaking this one. The game is nearly perfect for those who played the original one. And if you didn't play the original prepare to be blown away!

    A fantastic remake. This game represents the only true next-gen experience and it shows. Every time I'm away from the game, I'm thinking about the game and how I'll best the boss that just kicked my ass for the last 30 minutes I played. This is a an incredibly satisfying game to play in regards to visuals, gameplay, and immersion.

    this is a Incredible remake of a beloved gothic action role-playing game the mother of all games that gave birth to dark souls bloodborne sekiro nioh and that inspired many game developers to follow that Fromsoftware formula and create masterpiece game of the year games just like 2018 god of war.The best looking graphical next generation game in all of gaming history and it runs butter smooth with no performance issues only on PlayStation 5 thanks to Bluepoint's Phenomenal Job this is not just a remake but a re-vision without changing the core of the gameplay and the game itself 10/10    … Expand

    I would recommend original so much more than this "remake". They took absolute classic and are trying to make quick cash with it. I still have original on ps3, you can get it cheap anywhere. This weak excuse for a remake shouldn't be a reason to get ps5. I'm very disappointed.

    Absolutely brillant remake. Best looking game so far with pretty next Gen graphics. Runs smooth as hell with 60 frames. Best Souls game in my opinion and is the best Launch exklusive Sony could have. Great start into the next console generation.
    Worth every penny.

    A fantastic launch game that everyone should have in their collection. The amount of detail that went into everything, I mean even the sounds are unbelievable. All in all, the game may be a little bit challenging, but when you finish a “Boss” or Demon, you’ll never want to put it down.

    Such a stunning remake!! Bluepoint games did a great work. The atmosphere is lit, the graphisms are incredible, the game can be at 60fps and the news soundtracks are beautiful.
    A must play for Soulsborne veterans and for newcomers of course

    As someone that never played the original game, I must say: This game is awesome.

    The graphics are absolutely stunning, above any other Souls game. The game use some of the Dualsense features like the haptic feedback, giving great immersion.

    The sound is incredible, every single enemy hit, explosions, spells, can be heard clean. The soundtracks are great too.

    It’s a perfect remake and I think the only people who might be disappointed with it are… the die-hard FromSoftware fans. You see, the new Demon’s Souls shows clearly how much Miyazaki’s games have evolved throughout the years. The Dark Souls series simply does everything better. The remake looks like a prototype in comparison, while still being way ahead of other developers’ achievements in this genre. [01/2021, p.46]

    Overall, Demon’s Souls is still the most interesting and varied game in the Souls series. This remake not only looks lovely on the PlayStation 5 but is also a joy to play with all the tweaks and improvements that have been introduced. Now if only people would look past its supposed difficulty and see its carefully crafted intricacy instead.

    I went in expecting the world out of the Demon’s Souls remake and it delivered me the galaxy. I don’t normally speak this highly of games, but this is the one exception. Absolutely every facet of the original has been enhanced and it has stood the test of time. Bluepoint has done an incredible job at not only reinvigorating an underappreciated gem, but also leveraging the new technologies afforded to them with Sony’s new system. While there are a couple of minor technical blemishes, they don’t take away from how good of an experience this game is and Bluepoint’s diligence as a developer will surely see these kinks ironed out. This game is a system seller.
