Oct 11, 2021Is it a fun game? Yes. Is it innovative? Kind of. Did you enjoy the multiplayer? Hell no. I would still consider this to be a good game, but I feel like this game has potentials that the developers were just too reluctant to work on.

Nov 5, 2021Great game mechanics and great idea for a game. Had a lot of fun playing, just with it was longer or there was more to do after you are done.

Dec 24, 2021Deathloop is an odd game. Its a game unique in its experience, an experience that may not be wholly original yet it succeedes in forming its own identity. It takes some time playing as both Colt and Julianna to understand exactly what this game offers but once it clicks it REALLY clicks.

Mar 1, 2022What a surprise! Before buying the game, I wasn´t a fan of Dishonored and I didn´t really like the graphics, the gameplays I saw or even the story about this game, but I bought it anyway because of the good reviews and I loved it! It was a lot fun, I couldn´t stop playing until I finished the game.

Feb 7, 2022The online needs balancing, a lot of players just camp spawn.
I loved the loop idea and I think it pulls it off amazingly. Voice acting is good and fun. Graphics are pretty good. Game mechanics are nothing new but feel good. -
Feb 7, 2023I havent finished it yet, it gets kinda hard at the end even with all the upgraded weapons. I like the visuals, gameplay, and characters. It's fun and immersive, just a bit repetitive, especially frustrating when you die. It's a slog to finish, but I'm enjoying it.

Dec 17, 2022I really love this game. If you liked Dishonored I feel you'll love this aswell.
Slightly held back because I feel there's a lack of options towards the endgame and the buildup is very slow. Takes a lot of hours to get into it and the game spoonfeeds you a lot of stuff.
Still a great game. -
Sep 6, 2023I really enjoyed this game a lot! The story is ok, and the NPC's can be kind of dumb. However the gameplay mechanics and "loop" brings so much. Perhaps not the very best from Bethesda Softworks, but a great experience nonetheless

Mar 29, 2022I had a great time playing this game. The music and art style are what stood the most. Also gameplay was really fun.
-
Sep 4, 2022Fun gameplay with interesting mechanics. Story was engaging. Powers spice up the gameplay even more for extra strategy. Especially fun with (or rather against) a friend.

Dec 24, 2022Answer: 75 characters is between 10 words and 19 words with spaces included in the character count. If spaces are not included in the character count, then 75 characters is between 12 words and 25 words.

Sep 15, 2021Pros:
+ Freedom in gameplay (imagine Dishonored quality)
+ Loop mechanics that works really well
+ Unusuall game worls
Cons:
- PS3 graphics (imagine Dishonored quality)
- AI (imagine Dishonored quality)
- Bugs that force you to reload level. (there is no saving during level, so you have to replay it).
Add one point (7 -> 8) once the game is patched. -

Sep 26, 2021It’s a solid seven guys, eight at best if you’re really into the style of it but doesn’t really offer anything we haven’t seen before done better (original Dishonoured is a better game than this). If you’re into the whole time loop thing then I’d check out The Forgotten City… it’s much more compelling to play and the writing is leagues ahead of Deathloop.

Sep 17, 2021I was looking forward for this game, but I was very disappointed. I didn't hate it, but didn't love it either, but I think this is one of those games that the majority of people will love or hate. After 6 hours of gameplay I realized that I've thrown my money away, it became so boring so fast. Not recommended at full price, wait for a sale.

Jan 13, 2022Excellent setting and lore, beautiful graphics and engaging gameplay let down by possibly the dumbest AI recently as well as a mediocre ending.
-
Apr 20, 2022It’s a good game, but far from being amazing. It gets repetitive and forced me to rush to the end because I was getting bored. Honestly I can’t understand the critics rate. I would advise to get it on a sale if you don’t have anything in mind.

Sep 27, 2021A fun game but far too Linear. Gives the illusion of having multipal ways to play etc but following waypoints is how you progress.....only one(ish) way of doing the final loop is disapointing.

Oct 2, 2021Pretty fun game to play but the story could have been better in my opinion, I would wait for a sale instead of buying full price

Feb 6, 2022Story: 7
Graphics: 7
Sound: 8
Gameplay: 7
Game Time: 25 Hours (Main Story + Extra) -
Feb 23, 2022I did not enjoy Deathloop. The 10/10 scores from the major outlets baffle me. It's a good game overall, but it brings nothing new to the table nor does it excel at implementing established tropes of the loop genre
-
Jul 3, 2022Game was just okay for me really. Love the mechanics but think Dishonored did everything a lot better. The art style is really cool as well.

Dec 2, 2021Deathloop offers well-designed stealth levels under the core gameplay of Roguelike. At the same time, the variety of weapons and special powers also support the exciting combat. Julianna's "invasion" adds the uncertainty of the game, but may also spoil the player's experience.

CD-ActionNov 15, 2021I’m honestly surprised, because I did not expect to have so much fun with Deathloop. It draws some gameplay ideas from Dishonored, but introduces time-related mechanics, offers an intriguing story with interesting characters and has its own unique and coherent style. It’s an original game, full of surprises and addictive, but not necessarily easily digestible for everyone. For me however it’s one of the best titles of 2021. [11/2021, p.22]

Oct 29, 2021Deathloop is Arkane at its best, combining its system-driven immersive-sim gameplay with a unique and fascinating story set-up. Excellent presentation and style, along with fantastic dialogue and character performances makes Deathloop one of the most innovative games in years and a valuable PS5 exclusive.
