    шикарная идея и ее реализация, респект аркейнам, что не побоялись экспериментировать.
    да, локаций мало, но из-за задумки и всей этой цепочки событий по другому и нельзя, прям восторг вызывает, когда вначале у тебя полное отсутствие понимания, куда идти, что делать, а спустя несколько дней сурка- четкий, выверенный план действий. становится понятна концепция петли на своей шкуре.

    I've reviewed it on PC as i wasn't supporting money hatting timed contracts and higher prices, but I have to say the game deserves much better than to be review bombed.

    As good as dishonored? no, but poor? no. A solid 8/10.

    This game has grabbed me the same way Dishonored 2 did,in fact when i have finished Deathloop,im going right back to play D2. The Gun play,the powers.the way you can utterly mess up a plan and pull it back is very entertaining... Do yourself a favour and plays this game.

    As someone who plans to buy again on xbox, I can say the game is very good and the art style is amazing, I can't wait to see what this studio does in the future.

    Great game by Bethesda. Lot of fun, and challenges to do.
    Few bugs and I’ve had 1 game breaking bug however that aside I’ve really enjoyed playing it so far. Don’t regret buying the deluxe version for my PS5.
    Only reason 9/10 is because of the game breaking bug I had and I lost about 35 minutes of game play.

    Arkane is showing why they belong in the game of the year running with this new generation of gaming. The mechanics and smooth game play with the original Arkane FPS style is unmatched; along with a great story line and understanding of the overall goal. There’s no game out there this generation like Death loop.     Обожаю творения Аркейн, да и Бефезду люблю. Тут игра вышла так же очень крутой, интересной, вариативной, с юмором, со стилем, много прям клевые моментов в игре. Да и тема "петли" мне всегда нравилась, а тут ещё и смесь моих любимых игр в таком сеттинге.

    Однозначно игра года по моей версии!

    p.s. у меня 1060 6гб и fx-8320 (!!!) и у меня на низких, с некоторыми включенными функциями, типа FidelityFX и дальности прорисовки - 80фпс, в замесах минимум 60 видел. И я вполне могу поднять настройки и залочить фпс на 60, и играть в удовольствие. Картинка приятная, мыла вообще нет, зависаний тоже!

Just because it's first person and uses guns, and has a power or two from DishonoredPlays nothing like Dishonored 1/2, entirely different and creative gameplay loop. Just because it's first person and uses guns, and has a power or two from Dishonored does not make it a clone, these are probably the same people who think Street Fighter and Guilty Gear at the same game because they're both fighters. Main character is amazing, one of my favorites in the last few years. Shooting feels amazing compared to Dis2 and Prey, they keep getting better. There's a reason the critics have given it such great reviews. You'll also have PC gamers who can't figure out their settings crying about stuttering, I fixed mine in about 2 minutes and played 7 hours now with no issues. Playing at near max settings even. The game was inevitably going to be review bombed because of jealous Xbox players and PC gamers who can't figure out how to fix stuttering, so feel free to totally ignore the low scores.… Expand

    This is one of those rare FPS shooters that you have to play once as it's a continuous loop that will keep the adrenaline going. Deathloop's concept is engaging, funny, and somehow very sly the way this game represents if I was comparing to Ubisoft's classic FPS shooter XIII.

    Very interesting game. I feel a bit of wolfenstein shooting, dishonored magic & fallout reading terminals. Its a very mind bending game and im loving it. I have had a couple of crashes, a lot of bugs where i had to re-start my game ,especially when the ps5 is in rest mode it crashes.

    this game was great... had so much fun with it.... the ways u can finish the game is CRAZY!!! and i love when developers try new ways to make their games and this game is mixture of action stealth and strategy (not that kind of strategy but you know what i mean)

    P.S: ignore the zero reviews i mean it doesn't make any sense to give a zero to this kind of game

Beside demon soul, right now, there's no game that got impressive graphics like that. Textures are obviously next gen the company said themselves they use the power of the new gen and it shows when you play it. Btw I gave 10 just to raise the note cuz all those 0 aren't objective at all just internet troll. My real note for this game would probably be more a 8/10.

    I don't really use Metacritic but When I saw people complaining about next gen graphics of this game and some gamers compared it to dishonored 2 or even the first one... , I was like this is too much here there's a certain limit of nonsense **** that was surpassed here and I had to intervene. Style of the game, gameplay and story can obviously differ from one person to another that's just taste personal tastes some will like other not, but next gen graphics are next gen graphics and nobody can say a PS5 game have PS4 graphics the same way you can't say PS4 game have PS3 graphics. Stop with the **** please. Same thing with sounds design it's extremely impressive when you shoot the next gen is in that game graphics and sound design big time.

    Deathloop is basically dishonored+hitman+groundhog day. The goal of the game is to find a way to assassinate 8 people that are keeping a time loop intact, while also having to worry about a rival assassin trying to prevent you from doing so. The game is executed very well, really the only issues I have with it are that the game is pretty buggy, and there's performance problems.

    Un juego muy original estilo “rogue lite”. Buena jugabilidad y me encanta la forma en la que vas descubriendo pistas para poder matar a los 8 asesinos en el mismo ciclo de dia. Tambien sus misiones secundarias son muy beneficiosas y entretenidas hacerlas, ya que consigues buenas mejoras. Recomendable al 100%100 y no es dificil el juego por decir que es un estilo “rogue lite”, es algoUn juego muy original estilo “rogue lite”.     This is a pretty good demonstration of what a new console and an experienced dev studio can do. However, in my opinion, the idea with a time loop makes the game a little monotonous and boring, you hardly want to play it twice.

    In overall great game with a great story in a great atmosphere. In my books the haptic feedback is really taking the game to a next level. I would rate this game somewhere between 9 and 10, but rather 10 than 9. For me the only improvement areas would be visuals and graphics.

    Death loop is one of those games that have a unique hou that is good enough to put you through the game even if some parts you don't know what to do. The art style and production value are top-notch. I really enjoyed it and especially the voice acting was good.The game took me 10 hours to complete just good amount of time for this kind of game.

    I have a very high standard for games I’m willing to play and this one barely makes the cut. I really wish I had bought it on PC because the controls are absolutely garbage on ps5. Huge delay or terrible aim acceleration. Take your pick.

Despite it getting “review bombed”, it is actually a surprisingly engaging experience that can be directly compared to many successful games like Dishonored and even Dark Souls. The thought of starting over again with each death in a “loop” is a concept I originally found intriguing, but wasn’t completely sold on.Deathloop is a unique game that surprised many people with its announcement. Despite it getting “review bombed”, it is actually a surprisingly engaging experience that can be directly compared to many successful games like Dishonored and even Dark Souls. The thought of starting over again with each death in a “loop” is a concept I originally found intriguing, but wasn’t completely sold on. I didn’t want the game to turn into a boring grindfest that felt impossible to progress in, but thankfully that isn’t how the game functions at all. Progression actually feels meaningful, and with residium (the in-game currency), players can choose to reawaken with certain weapons and abilities they find throughout the game. This actually gives players a decent amount of build customization, and allows for players to approach situations in ways that they want to. The implementation of Julianna is also a unique game mechanic not too dissimilar to how Dark Souls multiplayer works. Another real player can invade your game as a rival assassin named Julianna, and you need to kill her to rid her from your world. Seeing the invasion message always gets me sitting up, and these invasions have been the highlights of my time playing the game so far. Uncovering the real truth and all the secrets throughout the game are engaging, and you can go about these “quests” in whatever order you wish. Despite this freedom, the game is quite small, and ultimately how you beat the game is somewhat linear. This game’s combat and guns feel responsive with a PS5 controller, and the creativity with Colt, the protagonists, unique abilities feels endless. For example I once killed a target by teleporting over a large fall and then swapped places with them, forcing them to fall to their death. Despite its positives, Deathloop does have some glaring negatives. The biggest negative by far is how stupid the A.I. is. You could literally shoot an enemy dead who is standing next to another enemy, and if that enemy doesn’t directly turn to face their dead partner, they won’t even notice. This problem is especially glaring if you play the game stealthily like I do. Another problem I have is that the ability “blink” is way too overpowered. It functions similar to Dishonored’s teleport ability, and it allows for you to teleport short distances. You are given two ability slots, and despite the 8 unique abilities that the game offers, I have still found no reason to not use “blink” as one of the spots. You are actually handicapping yourself by not equipping this ability. Despite its flaws, Deathloop serves as a surprisingly engaging and fun experience in a year where most games have been delayed.… Expand

    Finally, another game that made me think about it even when I wasn't playing it. A fascinating story in an authentic-looking world with a great soundtrack. Admittedly: A lot is/must be explained in the first hours. But it's worth it. After that, you're rewarded with a game that gets you into a flow that's incredibly fun. I haven't regretted a second of it.

    This game was a joy to play, the main character was great and the voice actor did a great job. The game play was fun with different ways to approach different situations. Based on the trailers wasn't sure what to expect for sure, but was a pleasant surprise nonetheless.

    This game is stunningly detailed, The gameplay is smooth a polished, the story is fun and easy to pick up yet with subtle details you pick up along the way that add alot of depth to each of the 8 Visionaries as your relationship to all of em.     This game is a lot of fun and an interesting take on Immersive Sims. At face value repeating the same maps over and over again can sound like it will get boring, but it doesn't. Each map changes based on the time of day, keeping them from feeling static. Every loop is a chance to improve your approach and change up your weapons/powers/equipment. In Deathloop you are completely free to try any approach you want because even if it doesn't go to plan you'll have another shot the next day. Throw in the random invasions from Juliana and every loop feels unique.

    The story is fun and engaging, however the ending feels rushed, leaving you wishing there had been a little more time spent wrapping things up. There are a few bugs, most notably a menu lockup that can happen (I experienced it twice during my playthrough). When this happens during a run you will lose all progress on the current map (the game only saves between maps). This was a little frustrating, but it's something I'm sure will be fixed soon.    … Expand

    The added multiplayer function of this game is something I really like. It can be punishing to play the level and then be killed and have to loop back to do it again, but you then get to find new ways to approach the level. Deathloop has been a great experience for me so far and look forward to the rest of the game.

    The game is amazing and fun! The characters (Colt and Julianna) are charismatic and the plot is slightly immersive! The art direction is spectacular, mainly for the cutscenes...and the soundtrack too! The gameplay is great and I didn't have any problems. It had been a while since I had fun like this.

    Easily the best Arkane game, extremely well-written story and gameplay that combines the best of Prey and Dishonored with some of the best characters and dialogue ever in a video game. Also makes excellent use of the PS5’s Dualsense features. Extremely replayable and can’t wait for a second run.

You have Dishonored's stealth mechanics, abilities and unique style, Wolfenstein's excellent gunplay, Prey's storytelling with themes of memory and consequences. It all boils together into an impressive and unique title that really makes youDeathloop is a great amalgimation of Arkane Studio's ideas over the years. You can find a little of something from all their games in this title. You have Dishonored's stealth mechanics, abilities and unique style, Wolfenstein's excellent gunplay, Prey's storytelling with themes of memory and consequences. It all boils together into an impressive and unique title that really makes you feel like a detective as you try to break the loop. Colt and Julianna's back and forth is amazing and natural, and really pits them as quite impressive rivals of each other with different goals. My favorite part is they both make excellent points to support both of their arguments, leaving it up to the player as to who is right. Solving the loop and figuring out the puzzle of how to kill all of the Visionaries is fantastic, and the infusion system making it so you don't have to completely start over from scratch like in Returnal makes the formulaic looping not get boring or frustrating. My main issue with the game though is the levels themselves. There are only four with differences between the same levels depending on the day which isn't too bad, however I feel that when it comes to this type of game they need to be REALLY interesting. Arkane has amazing level design and that didn't change here, but it didn't show to be exemplary. They are intricate, but other than Updaam they didn't really feel unique or crazy. Dishonored 2 had amazingly unique levels like The Clockwerk Mansion or Jindosh's Mansion where you were jumping between two worlds in time or you would pull a switch to change the entire layout of a room. That just didn't happen with a lot of areas in this game. As for the multiplayer component I will admit I didn't really have an interest in using it, and so the AI Julianna I ran into was either too difficult and killed you immediately or too easy and didn't offer the scary challenge it should be. That is my decision for playing single-player but it should've been developed so she didn't feel like any other NPC. Another issue I had was that I didn't really feel like I had the 'choice' to go in guns blazing like they implied. It isn't as 'play-your-own-way' as they imply. You need to play into the stealth a little bit because NPC's mow you down. And while there are health drinks and stations around, you don't actually have any medkits to heal on the fly so you can take damage and stay in the fight. That would've been something to look into including, since health regeneration only does so much. Having to connect to Bethesda's Launcher, I did find it annoying because I connected the wrong account and there is no way to easily unlink it sothat is fun, but it didn't count against my score. Playing as Julianna is fun too, especially if you go into it as a long-play and don't try to just kill Colt immediately head-on a few times. It emphasizes you playing Julianna as stealthy as you can rather than fighting Colt head-on, and offering outfits for ranking up instead of forcing microtransactions was a nice change of pace, especially with how nice they all look. Overall though this is a very creative and unique stealth game with good gameplay and some issues going on regarding the level design and AI but has a lot of fantastic redeeming qualities.… Expand

Though if you're like me and are a bit of a completionist, I would recommend putting those urges on hold until you've completed at least 1 day-cycle and gain the ability to keep certain items of your choosing. At the end of the first day, you will be forced to lose all your items, so don't even worry about exploration until then.

    As a big single-player fps fan, this game is a bunch of fun, with one big letdown that drags the score down from a 9 or 10 out of 10 game to a solid 8/10. If you like yourself some BioShock, Halo or any other fps single-player game (heard its a lot like dishonored also from arkane, which I haven't personally played) then death loop is definitely worthwhile for £50 GBP or less.

    I love it. I'm about 16 hours in and I'm having a blast. I have looped so, so many times, and I'm not mad about it. I almost look forward to it, so I can take out enemies better the next time. If you'd like to use Colt's powers and blow through a level like you're playing Doom, you    Deathloop is a very creative game, and right now, is the best game on PS5.

    The game can be played a few different ways. If you'd like to use Colt's powers and blow through a level like you're playing Doom, you can. If you want to treat the game like a stealth sandbox a kin to MGS, you can also do that. Colt is very customizable, and you will be able to switch back and forth very easily at different points in the game to fit your needs.

    The art style and music are great, and help to create a unique atmosphere around the game.

    The game's progression is also very rewarding, borrowing elements from the game's rogue-like peers, while still being a mostly narrative based game. The game has some metroid-vania like elements, and does a great job playing with the idea of the loop bringing Colt back every day.

    The gunplay won't blow your mind, but it's much better than the game's main contemporary on next-gen, Hitman 3.

    I gave the game a 9, since I really enjoyed the 20 hours I put into it. The pacing is good, the art style is unique, and Blackreef is a solid sandbox.    … Expand

    Its an absolute masterpiece and should have played title on PS5!! Nice gameplay, aiming, weapon handling etc. and a really funny sort of humor. So hope you‘ll enjoy :)
    Great game. Nothing groundbreaking in terms of gunplay, AI etc but the way the different elements of the gameplay mesh together make it greater than sum of its parts.

    There are parts of this game that really are stellar (the dialogue is a standout for sure) and I did still rate it higher because of those factors, but most of the things it does well other than that were better in Dishonored and Prey.

The only difference is that you can only equip two at a time (and only four trinkets) which was a huge letdown for me. It's a real bad time when you find a cool new power that is slightly less useful than your current one and you have to leave one behind. Or you realize a situation would be easier with a certain power or trinket that you didn't bring along on the mission. I understand that it is a difficulty and strategy mechanic, but it makes the game less fun and more frustrating.

    If, like me, this compels you to collect all of the slabs and weapons in order to complete all of the leads-then this is a very repetitive experience. There may be quite a few (sometimes frustrating) main targets, but there are only four levels with minor variations depending on the time of day. And each target only has one or two methods of disposal, so it isn't like the Hitman games where you can try different methods.

    There are also secrets hidden throughout the levels that can be interesting, but for the most part are quite a letdown. Spending an hour carefully working out a puzzle is really disappointing when your reward is a copy of the trinket that you already have 5 copies of.

    Like I said-still a high rating and I did have fun playing it, but some let downs and repetition really hindered the experience.    … Expand

    Great game! The design of the levels and the many different ways to play the game your way makes it a welcome entry into the rogue-like genre. Lots of reasons to retrace your steps and look for everything that may be hidden on each level. Highly recommend.

The game play isn’t revolutionary and is very much like dishonored. The guns are cool and the powers feel great to use however there’s not many of them thus you are left feeling like you’ve hit your load out sweet spot early on.
    The core gameplay and gunplay does feel good although it feels a little sluggish if you are used to something like cod.
    The art style is cool although not a showcase for ps5. Everything is crisp and sharp by design but isn’t a show stopper. The AI is pretty poor. NPCs don’t see you when they should and rush you unrealistically when they do.
    That being said the game is very good due to all the aspects of the game connecting well and just feeling right. Story is cool and very clever however you have to put in a bit of work to understand everything going on, it’s not spoon fed to you.
    I’m having a blast with it and I think 8 is a fair score. Definitely not a 10. Pick it up and give it a try. If you connect with it quickly you’ll find it rewarding and probably finish it if you don’t then you’ll probably give up pretty soon after starting.    … Expand

    Fantastic game. My only complaint is it can be quite confusing sometimes with clues and stuff all over the screen. People that complain about the graphics have obviously never played dishonored. It's just the way Arkane games look...

    Amazing game. From the gunplay to the powers to the lived-in world of blackreef, everything feels and looks top notch. The characters are all fantastically voice acted and their development is paced phenomenally. Most importantly, the game is just so much fun to play.

    I would suggest ignoring the people giving this a bad review. This game is really enjoyable. I have had no bugs or issues with the game. The controls are easy. The graphics are very nice, and the voice acting is great. The lines in the game are funny. I would highly recommend this game.

    Highly enjoyable stealth focused game. The AI could use some improvement, but that being said if you make a poor choice you can easily be overwhelmed and killed. The PVP aspect is incredibly fun and works really well.

    Deathloop offers well-designed stealth levels under the core gameplay of Roguelike. At the same time, the variety of weapons and special powers also support the exciting combat. Julianna's "invasion" adds the uncertainty of the game, but may also spoil the player's experience.

    I’m honestly surprised, because I did not expect to have so much fun with Deathloop. It draws some gameplay ideas from Dishonored, but introduces time-related mechanics, offers an intriguing story with interesting characters and has its own unique and coherent style. It’s an original game, full of surprises and addictive, but not necessarily easily digestible for everyone. For me however it’s one of the best titles of 2021. [11/2021, p.22]
