    Excellent and absolutely brutal multiplayer combat. Ignore the low score reviews on here. They seem to be troll reviews. If you want bloody, chaotic sword fights, this is the game.

    Chivalry 2 Is great is it for me? No, I got bored of it fairly quickly.. but for those really into hand to hand combat nd roll playing, this game is great. Chivalry 2 is basically for honor except just knights… you choose red team or blue team and then youre off into a 64 player or 40 player battle for control over a castle.. youll be defending or attacking, using    Chivalry 2

    is it for me? No, I got bored of it fairly quickly.. but for those really into hand to hand combat nd roll playing, this game is great.
    Chivalry 2 is basically for honor except just knights… you choose red team or blue team and then youre off into a 64 player or 40 player battle for control over a castle.. youll be defending or attacking, using on of 4 different classes, all with their own special perks, such as the knight being able to heal your team, or the archer being able to shoot fire arrows… I had a blast for my first couple hours of this game…
    The combat here is very deep like that of for honnor, so if you dont like for honor, youre not gonna like this game.. .. its not very casual friendly.. you have to learn how to block and parry, time your attcks… this is a game that demands you master it to have any amount of fun…
    to be able to pick off other players as they surround you like sharks.. this is where Chivalry shines and youll be getting most of your enjoyment from.. testing yourself.
    My biggest complaint with Chivalry is that I feel like there is no rhyme or reason to anything.. no team strategy.. it really does just feel like run into battle and kill everyone while trying not to get killed, defend these positions or take these positons before time runs out… I did enjoy doing goofy bttle cries, running right to my death, but this joy wore off on me pretty quickly..
    Where Chivalry 2 got some of my joy back was in its free for all mode.. I felt like a god among knights in this mode, just slicing through everyone like warm butter as we all raced to be the first to 35 kills in an arena.. at least that’s what the game says.. but the matches definitely go beyong the first to 35…
    Overal Chivalry 2 cant quite get its hooks in me the way for Honor did… maybe the lack of modes… the lack of feeling like im doing anyything to contribute to my teams victories or losses…
    But I can appreciate the care put into this game and I can see the role players out there losing months to this game.

    So fun playing this on PS5 against other console and PC players. Can definitely hold my own again PC users playing with the PS5 controller. Having a blast with the game, the castle sieges are epic!

    Let's start with the good things. The combat is fun, the gore is amazing, and the visuals and details in the maps is done very well. I like how you can pick up and throw many things, and the ragdoll mechanics is hilarious...and in a good way. The sound effects match up well during combat, and the game is over all and enjoyable experience to play with friends. Gameplay and combat canLet's start with the good things.     Chivalry 1 created a brand new genre. Chivalry 2 perfected it. The gameplay loop is fantastic, the graphics are marvelous, the maps are phenomenal in terms of design and aesthetic, the sounds are superb, and the game is just down right fun. It's cross-platform so you can enjoy it with all of your friends. As a new player you can do well, but as you play more you understand how theChivalry 1 created a brand new genre. Chivalry 2 perfected it. The gameplay loop is fantastic, the graphics are marvelous, the maps are phenomenal in terms of design and aesthetic, the sounds are superb, and the game is just down right fun. It's cross-platform so you can enjoy it with all of your friends. As a new player you can do well, but as you play more you understand how the different mechanics can give you an edge - easy to learn and get into, takes time to hone your skill. 10/10 might be the best game that has come out in 2021 thus far.… Expand

    The game is incredible and very fun, i suggest giving this game a GO. Great combat mechanics in the medieval era.

    Needs more polish but the most fun I had this year. I recommend waiting a few more months, but I am okay with some jank so enjoying already.

    Genuinely addictive. Not a perfect game, but definitely a refreshing change if you're sick of COD.

    Some of these reviews are just very negative, when one patches can be released to fix some of these issues going forward. Two, this is from a smaller production/development, so don't expect AAA amazing quality. If you remember that, this game is just really fun to play.

    -Offers different classes/subclasses, which all feel unique and useful
    -Really funny voice lines with more of a medieval based joke
    -Decent customization, and don't really have to pay for the cosmetics
    -Solid gameplay and good music
    -Good game modes and fun to play as a team

    Cons
    -Noticeable bugs/glitches, but nothing gamebreaking
    -I've heard it's relatively impossible to play with friends who are playing on different gaming console
    -Some of the goals to complete as a team/faction are almost impossible to win, so some rebalancing is needed.

    Overall, it's a good game to play. It's worth it's price, and even if you aren't that good you can still contribute in the game, I give it a 9/10 as it doesn't really get boring and a very unique game.    … Expand

    Great fun with mates. Sword play/combat is very good and intuitive with room for skill growth. Bit low on content but that is reflected in the price.

    Its had some teething issues. Worst issue is not being able to connect with my friend who is on PS4 and I'm on PS5. I have to download the PS4 version just to get into a game with him and it wipes my whole loadout.

    If you like combat games this is your type of games! The game involves combat all the time, and there’s a lot to learn but once you get the basic this is a really fun and quality game! I’ve had the most fun playing this in 2021:)

    It's like COD in a medieval enviroment. Crisp and nice graphics and fun game mechanics. Love bashing guys with swords and axes choppin off heads and limbs.

    Very satisfying medival mess, war cries,screams, fighting crowds and dead bodies all in chaos, immersive medival slaugther. I have a feeling it is very young stage of the game and should give like 5-6 but maaan ... It is so addictive. I saw nice development plan for this game so definitely will be coming back over and over again. I really miss ranked fights and guild fights that would beVery satisfying medival mess, war cries,screams, fighting crowds and dead bodies all in chaos, immersive medival slaugther.     I don't like online shooters (been there and done that) or most online multiplayer games to be honest. However, Chivalry 2's slow and strategic combat is both easy to pick up and hard to master. 64-player battles with siege weapons and objectives are just amazing. I absolutely adore this game. Beautiful on PS5 and I just can't get enough of it. 9/10

    A year in to Chiv and well… Incredible game, for the longest time I’ve been totally bored with gaming, chivalry 2 has completely renewed by enthusiasm. It’s incredibly addictive, light hearted and easy to pick up and jump right in. My absolute favourite game and the devs are doing a great job with the additional content.

    My only criticism is the horses, they’re a bit chonky to control and their faces look ridiculous (on the Home Screen) they really need some attention my dudes! In further updates I’d really love to see a braveheart’esq rebellion faction complete with long spears to stop charging horses! Recreating the epic battle of Stirling would absolutely put the cherry on this cake    … Expand

Se agrego a PS Plus y me esta encantando, tiene full crossplay y pequeños problemas para conectarse con amigos pero funciona bien.

    Chivalry 2 takes some cues to make the sword and shield combat feel a touch more accessible. I feel it's for the better with a fairly decent tutorial leading you right into the fighting. Whilst it can feel daunting, I've seen myself contributing to battles very quickly. The combat is deep with an importance on positioning and timing. It is slightly undermined by trying to keep the players together but, even if duels are harder to come by, the chaos of a full battlefield is hard to ignore. It's fascinating, fun and fluid.

    Pressure mounts thanks to player counts – 64 players at the top end, with 40-plus in other modes (and a huge free-for-all mode too). Neat DualSense features add pleasant friction, like your p guard being harder to use the less stamina you have. Not every map and mode is a winner, but it looks fab and is fun, with a nice sense of humour. [Issue#3, p.155]
