    Chivalry 2 is one of the funniest multiplayer video games we're going to play this year. Its great combat system collides with the chaotic of the games giving rise to great moments. However, it still needs to add more content and optimize some of its systems to become brilliant

    Chivalry II can entertain you for hours, especially if you are a fan of Multiplayer games; but for a continuous success and keeping the game alive, the developers need to deliver constant updates and content.

    The sequel to the classic is indeed worthy in most ways, and Chivalry II is a much needed upgrade to the original game. Combat has a lot going on, and while many players will behave as non-chivalrous bastards, there is a good amount of fun to be found on the medieval battlefields of Chivalry II.

    Great ideas, good connections, some decent customization, and large battles only get you so far. Every place Chivalry 2 seems to succeed, you quickly find a shortcoming. While not terrible, it’s a tough game to recommend to just any player.

    The game offers an immersive crusade experience, but thankfully doesn't take itself too seriously. Despite the many severed limbs, there is plenty of room for a dash of humor. Now if the developer could only do something about the large amount of bugs on PS4, they just might have a cult hit up their sleeve.

    Chivalry II is a very poor game, devoid of single player content, clumsy battle system, scarce multiplayer modes and awfully repetitive gameplay. Apart from that, it is the ultimate barebones experience, and developer Torn Banner studios should have explored the option to publish it as a free-to-play title, like many other similar games out there.

    32v32 melee based combat is truly something to behold. It’s chaotic and hilarious. When you’re with friends, you’ll be laughing constantly. You’ll be charging into battle, only to see one of your friends be sent 100s of metres by a ballista and another get his head chopped off from the flanking team. It’s a simple combat system but can be mastered. When you master it, it’s rewarding, especially when you have moments of killing 3 players in a 3v1 situation. If it wasn’t for the bugs and glitches. This game would be a 10/10 for me. The game is constantly kicking you out of games, resetting your customised character (which takes 4-5 minutes to customise again, it doesn’t sound bad but it gets old after the 3rd time in 15 minutes). Also most of the trophies on PS4/PS5 are glitchy and currently I have several glitched on me. That probably doesn’t bother many players but it did for me. Great game that needed more time to work out the kinks. Considering the game is over 12 months old at this point, I can’t see them being fixed. I would still recommend though.    … Expand

    Several months after my purchase I can't find a game with more than 12 or so players in it.
    Since July I haven't been able to get into on of the 64 player clashes that I enjoyed so much.
    After taking a break in August when the player base was dwindling and jumping online late November nothing has changed.
    A quick search and I see that the devs are investigating server issues in my region.
    I have no problem with Insurgency Sandstorm, which I purchase after Chivalry 2, so why can't Chivarly get it right?
    I did enjoy it I did, but its an online only game and the servers a faulty.
