    unbalanced garbage, they let you switch teams whenever you want which leads to everyone jumping to the winning team. these players are cowards who will camp the objectives doing nothing else entire matches. this game and its community is dog **** i hope this game dies soon and its community with it

    Normally a great game. But the Devs won’t fix one of the 100 issues and bugs the game has. It’s not Crossplay, even tho it‘s said. You can’t find full lobbys because the servers are **** Hit Reg is just ridiculous. There are a ton of bugs in generell, and TB is not fixing one of them

    Game mechanics' good but the online game matching system is completely broken. It will try to match you with players from same area/continent of the world first, but if that game's full it will just randomly put you in a game and you'll find yourself palying with players from another part of the world with their ping aroung 50 and you got over 300 ping.     No working parties in a multiplayer game in 2021. Laughable.
    Day 1 patch delayed two months, and it broke more that it fixed.
    How come it is acceptable to release a beta product, and call it a "full release" nowadays...
    Don't buy, refund if you did.

    Chivalry 2 Is great is it for me? No, I got bored of it fairly quickly.. but for those really into hand to hand combat nd roll playing, this game is great. Chivalry 2 is basically for honor except just knights… you choose red team or blue team and then youre off into a 64 player or 40 player battle for control over a castle.. youll be defending or attacking, using    Chivalry 2

    Chivalry 2 is basically for honor except just knights… you choose red team or blue team and then youre off into a 64 player or 40 player battle for control over a castle.. youll be defending or attacking, using on of 4 different classes, all with their own special perks, such as the knight being able to heal your team, or the archer being able to shoot fire arrows… I had a blast for my first couple hours of this game…
    The combat here is very deep like that of for honnor, so if you dont like for honor, youre not gonna like this game.. .. its not very casual friendly.. you have to learn how to block and parry, time your attcks… this is a game that demands you master it to have any amount of fun…
    to be able to pick off other players as they surround you like sharks.. this is where Chivalry shines and youll be getting most of your enjoyment from.. testing yourself.
    My biggest complaint with Chivalry is that I feel like there is no rhyme or reason to anything.. no team strategy.. it really does just feel like run into battle and kill everyone while trying not to get killed, defend these positions or take these positons before time runs out… I did enjoy doing goofy bttle cries, running right to my death, but this joy wore off on me pretty quickly..
    Where Chivalry 2 got some of my joy back was in its free for all mode.. I felt like a god among knights in this mode, just slicing through everyone like warm butter as we all raced to be the first to 35 kills in an arena.. at least that’s what the game says.. but the matches definitely go beyong the first to 35…
    Overal Chivalry 2 cant quite get its hooks in me the way for Honor did… maybe the lack of modes… the lack of feeling like im doing anyything to contribute to my teams victories or losses…
    But I can appreciate the care put into this game and I can see the role players out there losing months to this game.

    Excellent game, nothing else like it on console. There are bugs (as the negative reviews will tell you) but the devs have already announced their intention to fix them.

    This game is the friendlier cousin of Mordhau, both are great in their own right but Chiv 2 is definitely more casual. Phenomenal amounts of fun.

    I really enjoy it so far on my ps5. No server problems for me so far, no grieving experience for me st least.. It takes a bot to get the hang of it

    This game is amazing. The combat is so fun and in depth, the ragdoll is hilarious in a good way, the charge sequences are insane. There is nothing like this on console.

    I work full time and have a family, so i have minimal time to play on weeknights and weekends. This game gets you right into the action. I did have one crash in a tutorial on launch day, but no issues since and have had no problems with matchmaking or wait times. For someone who is into this type of    Really enjoy this game.

    There is nothing to do here. 60 player battle, 40 battle and... that's that. This game should be free. Ultra boring, ultra repetitive. Just stay away from it.

    It's okay but it seriously needs some work on the interface. The customisation menu is terrible and doesn't show any of the subclasses. It's impossible to know just from this menu what weapons you can even use. Don't think I can be bothered playing this game anymore unless it gets fixed.

    There is no single campaign unfortunately. There is an offline training mode though, which is useful to practice and become familiar with the weapons and controls of the game. The other modes are online multi-player only. Your goals in the available modes are to kill enemy players until you win, or complete a set of team objectives. I personally enjoy modes with team objectives the most, as it gives a goal and more tension to the match.

    I played the game in 2021 on what is considered to be "last generation hardware" but I'm glad to see that the game runs great on Playstation 4. The issues that are noticeable have more to do with the lack of effort on the developers side, as this is clearly not Red Redemption 2 levels of software.

    Unfortunately, i can't recommend this game for the full price. The game has micro-transactions which would have been morally acceptable if Chivalry II was a Free-to-play game. However, Chivalry II is not Free-to-play. Also, i wonder if this game is going to be updated with more content, as it is pretty meager for an online game online. We'll see.

    The combat is fun, though there is a steep learning curve. This put me off at first, but once i got better a chopping heads off with an axes i started to enjoy it. Deaths can feel cheap, as your teammates can accidentally kill you. But if you hang back and let the sheeps go first...

    Good fun, though lacking in content and overpriced. Not the knockout release it should be. I give it a 6/10.    … Expand

    This game is a pile of hot garbage. Full of bugs, hackers, TERRIBLE hit detection and time to kill. Fortnite is a better melee combat game than this

    Very funny, highly entertaining game. It has a few bugs, but if you are looking for hand to hand multiplayer action, this is fantastic. Fun factor up in the millions!

    *Game keeps crashing (twice in 10mins)
    *Character creation is poorly designed
    -no ability to rotate character -white hair option is bugged and won't select -no 'are you sure?' windows for item purchase so I accidentally wasted 5k on a rubbish voice -no male long hair seems stupid. They copied the Witcher armour but no long hair to complete the look. *The worst of all is no crossplay    *Game keeps crashing (twice in 10mins)

    Chivalry 2 is a PERFECT GAME, it is 10/10 it is better than Mordhau easialy, and mordhau is amazing. Chivalry 2 is a masterpiece I love it.

    After originally giving it a 9/10 based on the pure fun I was having I need to amend my score.
    Several months after my purchase I can't find a game with more than 12 or so players in it.
    Since July I haven't been able to get into on of the 64 player clashes that I enjoyed so much.     After taking a break in August when the player base was dwindling and jumping online late November nothing has changed.
    A quick search and I see that the devs are investigating server issues in my region.
    I have no problem with Insurgency Sandstorm, which I purchase after Chivalry 2, so why can't Chivarly get it right?
    I did enjoy it I did, but its an online only game and the servers a faulty.

    Battle system is disaster. I've just can't feel it so bad that I couldn't even pass the tutorial.
    Game was for free on ps+ however which is the fair price for this thing. Uninstalled and forgotten.

    Funny and knows his stuff. Certainly best of its kind. Unfortunately, For Honor is practically no longer supported and is in fact already dead. These guys, on the other hand, are fresh, they believe in it and propose a game that is alive and in development. Great

    32v32 melee based combat is truly something to behold. It’s chaotic and hilarious. When you’re with friends, you’ll be laughing constantly. It’s a simple combat system but can be mastered. When you master it, it’s rewarding, especially when you have moments of killing 3 players in a 3v1 situation. If it wasn’t for the bugs and glitches. This game would be a 10/10 for me. The game is constantly kicking you out of games, resetting your customised character (which takes 4-5 minutes to customise again, it doesn’t sound bad but it gets old after the 3rd time in 15 minutes). Also most of the trophies on PS4/PS5 are glitchy and currently I have several glitched on me. That probably doesn’t bother many players but it did for me. Great game that needed more time to work out the kinks. Considering the game is over 12 months old at this point, I can’t see them being fixed. I would still recommend though.    … Expand

I was completely unfamiliar with the concept of “drag” going in to this but it’s there because it makes perfect sense.

    The level design… incredible, they are designed brilliantly, the battles feel epic and yet the levels are large enough to creep round flanks and go off piste if you dare! The graphics… these are spot on too, the textures are detailed and rich and my only gripe is the horse on the main menu screen (looks cartoony and odd). The armour shines and glistens in the sun and the overall look feels right for a medieval game. Gory, very very gory just like a medieval battle sun should be!

    Sound… anyone that’s played for honor will know exactly what I mean when I say poor voicing can totally kill the game, thankfully the devs got it bang on again in Chivalry2, proper English accents, Scott’s that sound like they’ve come straight off the highlands, some jokey some more serious depending on your preference but they all work and contribute to this feeling of a genuine medieval experience.

    Overall I think this is the best game I’ve played in a long time, it is a bit rough round the edges in some ways, respawning far away can be annoying when you’re attacking an objective and online skill of some players is next level making it difficult to rack up kills, my advice is spend some serious time in the beginners lobby and get used to the gameplay before taking on seasoned battle hardened folk! Chivalry 2 is a game I wouldn’t be without now, big fan and a big thumbs up to the creators for making something that stands out from the same old same old    … Expand

    The best anti stress game I've ever played. Love the simple dynamic of the game where we can enjoy some killing without guilt.

    Well I'm not gonna lie it isn't good, terrible server issues just to conect to the menu then constant buffer in game.
    the matchs themselfs are not alot more than just runing into the enemy and swinging your weapon in the hopes you hit the enemy and not your poor friend next to you, and that about it rinse repeat.
    now I'm all for a good bit of dumb fun but this is no pun intended pointless

    The game offers an immersive crusade experience, but thankfully doesn't take itself too seriously. Despite the many severed limbs, there is plenty of room for a dash of humor. Now if the developer could only do something about the large amount of bugs on PS4, they just might have a cult hit up their sleeve.

    Chivalry II can entertain you for hours, especially if you are a fan of Multiplayer games; but for a continuous success and keeping the game alive, the developers need to deliver constant updates and content.

    The sequel to the classic is indeed worthy in most ways, and Chivalry II is a much needed upgrade to the original game. Combat has a lot going on, and while many players will behave as non-chivalrous bastards, there is a good amount of fun to be found on the medieval battlefields of Chivalry II.
