    Multiplayer is alright, the weapons are fun to use and don't offer any advantage of other players. The maps are great, the flow is good and it's easy to get kills; there isn't many places to camp.

    This is a solid multiplayer game. It’s a cross between MW(2019) and WAW with a little punkish alt history vibe. The gameplay is fast and fluid, weapons are absurd but fun. Overall a pretty decent title in the COD library. There are a few bugs you’ll occasionally run into, but if fast arcade PVP FPS games are your thing it’s a good time.

    +Game size 25 GB Multiplayer+Zombies, 60 GB with campaign +Fun multiplayer and maps and gunfight +operators and their favourites weapon mechanic +optimalization, better than cold war +movement is very satisfying +campaign is decent (5 h to beat) Bad Side: -Poor zombies content at the moment (No pap camos, no easter egg) worst    This game have some good and bad sides;

    12 VS 12 in an extremely small map = extremely chaotic
    COD trying to show players what WWII really looks like, but the game looks dirty in many ways that you could think of.

    An absolute pitiful try at a call of duty title. The campaign is so bland with characters that are so boring and unlikable, fully unlovable, faces that are straight punchable. The Multi-player is boring. Maps are repetitive, zombies Is an absolute joke. Do not waste any money on this trash. I'm so happy I got a refund.

    Vanguard could have been a good game, but lags, packet burst & dev error 5573 make it frustrating to play! The Story is too short. But the worst part is, there is no RB Zombies and no Easter Egg! Very very disappointing! 80€ for an unfinished game. Definetly too much! Im done!

    I wasted 65 dollars for this game as avid lover of the call of duty franchise. I've put up with the worse and by far this has to be the worst call of duty I've ever played. It's so boring I couldn't even get past the first mission of the campaign because it was so boring. Looked so dull and just boring. I gave it another chanced and literally went to go get some salad ate then slept withI wasted 65 dollars for this game as avid lover of the call of duty franchise. I've put up with the worse and by far this has to be the worst call of duty I've ever played. It's so boring I couldn't even get past the first mission of the campaign because it was so boring. Looked so dull and just boring. I gave it another chanced and literally went to go get some salad ate then slept with the campaign still on! You honestly couldn't pay me to play this game. No amount of money is worth the frustration of the campaign The COD WAW campaign was extremely better than this. How do you let a 2008 game with dukie graphics out shine you 13 years later. This games a joke. The multiplayer I find enjoyable and quite fun. Until you get your cheeks clapped and pummeled by the STG-44 with vital. Or the 2 shot kill BAR. The time to die is let alone cheeks but then you allow a 2 shot kill gun no way. I've tried not using meta I played 2 weeks in with the LMG42 and had a positive kd (1 .14). And was having fun but did not enjoy getting clapped by low levels in 1v1 situations by a gun who fist pumped me to the other side of the moon with VITAL. They've lowered the skill gap to let your casual player have more fun while also punishing the experienced player who's put time day by day hour to hour grinding the game. The multiplayer would be good if they just removed vital. That would make the guns balanced. AND THE WORST OF THE WORST ZOMBIES OMG THE ZOMBIES.

    All I'm going to say is I'm absolutely devastated. Zombies was the thing to get on after you got bored of multiplayer then get back on multiplayer as a fun rotation cycle. But the zombies this year was just boring no Easter egg, no wonder weapon, no packer-punch camo skin. Like come on wtf COD. AND JUST MAP AT LAUNCH, NO ROUNDBASED MAPS. I've played it multiple times to force my self to like it. But just experience dread and pain as the other zombies players in our public matches. The only time I have fun playing this game is hearing others complain about zombies in my match. And how there only playing to use the camos on multiplayer.

    To sum it up this game is a let down. I had hope but that hope soon turned to BUTCHEEKS STG-44 VITAL PUMMELING.    … Expand

    Since they released a trial version for the PS5 I decided to give it a chance because I heard a lot of nice things from my friends about this game. From the first game it was almost impossible for me to play because of the **** servers this game has, packet burst every game, it freezes on me and the only game I have problems like these is on this one.     Good game (probably because of MW19 engine), but:
    1. A lot of bugs and mistakes. You can't even get the gold camo for a few guns, because there's not needed attachments.
    2. Sound design. You CAN'T hear your enemies in Multiplayer even if they without Ninja perk. 3. Ninja perk. 4. No factions. Especially in hardcore modes, you can't recognize who's who, because everyone have the same    Good game (probably because of MW19 engine), but:

    At least 26 000 000 Russian people died during this war and all we have is Polina, who's not even looks like Lyudmila Pavlichenko and speaks with Middle East accent as if she's Farah from MW19.

It looks and sounds great on paper but the idea was horribly executed and was honestly rushed. I feel like this franchise is dead as much as it pains me. What more could they do?? Besides recycling old material and trying to cater to a younger and younger audience.     I think in general the game is good, the campaign is good, but talking about the multiplayer, there are some problems, I think the major problem are the spawn ones, and some overpowered guns, but in general I have fun playing it and it has a lot of content.

    Honestly loving this cod right now, the campaign was really good, a bit short but it was amazing. I’m really liking the fast paced multiplayer. and I think the zombies will be good when they add normal maps

It is also very difficult to upgrade weapons as well, since I am a zombie lover. I did not like it at all and was not expected, it is very bad.     I would rate MP in the following order:
    - MW 2019
    - CW --- - VG (this) In general - this is the worst MP experience i have had in call of duty. Bad sounds, awful graphics, no weapon balance, terrible map design, a lot of broken stuff like spawn points etc. They somehow managed to fail shipment map(sic!) Game in general - bad, Sledgehammer games just cannot make Call of Duty Game.    I would rate MP in the following order:
    - MW 2019
    - CW

    If you enjoy dying every few seconds, this is the game for you. For some reason, the devs took an already low health and seemingly cut it in half. COD needs to stop releasing every year so these devs can take their time and put out something original and fresh for once.

I played the Multiplayer and the game design is AWFUL. The low TTK eliminates the impact of strategy and weapon builds as every gun is one-three shot, and you spawn right in front of enemies half the time. I won’t even go into all the bugs, even if they fixed everyone this would still be THE WORST COD EVER RELEASED. Once Caldera drops on the 8th no one will play this anymore, you can’t even find games now and THIS GAME WAS JUST RELEASED! This game will be officially dead on 12/8. Save your money, trust me, it’s not worth it. I don’t know what game all these 8+ Star rating people are playing but they need to either disclose how much Activision is compensating them to say that or put that crack pipe down.… Expand

    It was alright. Multiplayer is kinda fun with some friends. The soviet woman, Polina is by far the worst character. A forced mary sue “bad ass” who is unlikeable to the max. The rest of the characters are fine though

    The new map looks great. That was the pro side.
    Enemies can hardly be noticed on the map.
    The 100 years old weapons are a piece of crap.
    After playing hundreds of hours on Verdansk, it's time to say good bye.
    Maybe I will play the black ops sometimes.

    The game company is too, TOO short. Where did the blacks come from in World War II? And yes, where is it without strong and independent, I'm not afraid of this word, although it would be worth - women. Attention to detail? Forget it!     bad game, no balance in multiplayer ... that weapons, that cards, poor respawns of the enemy, then in the face, then behind, and sometimes right in me ... there is no zombie mode ... there is no content from the word at all, another checkpoint part, it's a pity the money cannot be returned, I would have bought better Battlefield 2042

    I mostly play cod for the multiplayer mode, so i will focus in the multiplayer.     Multiplayer is completely unplayable for me on PS5. The lag and latency issues ruin what would otherwise be a fun shooter. My connection is completely fine— black ops and modern warfare run like a dream as does warzone. Until this is sorted then I’ve just flushed 70 pounds down the drain.

For good reason, I usually play on European servers, with a ping of 100-150, less often on Russian (80-100). But why the hell throws me to the Chinese, where my ping is 250-300, it's impossible to play, 9 out of 10 games I play with the Chinese.     Buggy and very messy, no info from Devs about fixes it's now over a month and day1 bugs are worse than before. Dogs have immune to damage bug and this game is just every time a shield, combat shotgun and dogs. Nothing else.

    Wont buy any CoD until they either remove or significantly tone down SBMM + they need to add a fcking rank mode.
    Furthermore im not supporting a company that remains silent about the biggest problems ever --> SBMM, game balancing etc.

The final camos are underwhelming, while also needing days on overal play time doing the same boring game mode to earn the camos. Now for the multiplayer, it’s decent. There is nothing truly special about it and it lacks complete creativity, but it isn’t completely bad. While it’s slightly more fun than the zombies mode, it still doesn’t stand out. There are an average amount of weapons so far with gameplay that still retains things about previous cod games while also fixing up main gameplay mechanics so it doesn’t cater to campy play styles while still offering room for other playstyles. The ammo system if complete garbage and only makes things more complicated and unneeded. Maps are good and fit the cod formula and small details such as team names could be fixed but isn’t too necessary. The gunsmith system is well made, combining elements of the MW system and the CW system leading to a pretty good customization system. Lastly, the campaign. I’m not going into detail since this is a spoiler-free review, but it’s very good. It’s retains its moments and isn’t too over saturated. Overall, cod vanguard is an ok game with nothing too special about it while ultimately being held down by its horrendous zombies mode.… Expand

    Bought at launch and it was full of bugs and connection issues with servers. Not worth 93 dollars and the graphics on some of the maps are absolutely atrocious.

This one is not exclusion of badly made game by Treyarch and SH. The game looks like it's from 2001 with poor models, textures and awful animation. But the "agenda" is in place, definitely.

The campaign is subpar- reminds me of the old medal of honor games- which were actually cool back in 2001.The only level in the campaign that added anything new was the midway flying mission.     - How many times you did because a dog brushed up against you. - How many times the game spawns enemies right behind you. - How many times it spawns you in the middle of a machine gun bullet stream. - How    Horrible design decisions.     Great graphics, great mechanics, but it's story is sooooo boring. I couldn't connect with the characters and didn't care for them. Level design was mid. Multiplayer was not bad, though.

    The multiplayer is sadly the best part about this game mainly because the movement was perfected to the max other then that the multiplayer has a ****ty spawn system, ****ty 3-lane maps, insane amount of latency issues and a **** ton of unbalanced guns.

    This game had potential. Based off the trailers, it actually looked like a WW2 shooter! Turns out we can use anime skins for our smg's in a world war shooter?? The game was and still is broken with game-breaking bugs. It seems the only people who enjoy this game are at the max, ten years old.

    Call of Duty: Vanguard is a great Call of Duty entry with absolutely stellar ser pieces, fantastic visuals, and plenty of modes surrounding an excellently fun campaign. The only downsides are the muddied stories… not to mention what is happening in the company that published it. Highly recommended for CoD fans and people looking for a bit of mindless fun set in WW2.

    Even though the campaign is extremely predictable and the multiplayer is plagued with tones of issues, Call Of Duty: Vanguard is, after all, still a Call of Duty title, and will appeal to all hardcore Call of Duty fans.
