    After playing the beta, I couldn't wait for this gem to get released so I pre-ordered it.
    Oh boy was I wrong.. The game was released unfinished with tons of bugs and glitches.
    Crashes make the game almost unplayable. The few unlucky ones that manage to join a match will leave shortly after just because it's filled with campers.. I have never seen this many people just sitting in a corner and waiting the whole match just to end the game with 5 kills.. They have completely changed the way Call of Duty feels and made it easier for casual and slow players to be good just by getting moldy one place..

    In summary, here are the pros and cons:

    + Great sound design
    + Solid Campaign

    - Game keeps crashing and freezing, even on High-End Rigs
    - Made the players feel paralyzed by completely nerfing the movement
    - Campers in every single corner of the map
    - Completely reworked dead silence - no one even uses it anymore
    - Hearing footsteps from across the map

    I can say that I'm still sticking with Cold War at this point and hope the next release will be worth buying..    … Expand

    There seem to be around 6 maps in total. SBMM is a disaster with one sided matches abounding, it's simply not fun. It looks nice but it's a big step backward. Mw2 in 2009 was light years ahead of this in terms of playability and sheer enjoyability. Don't waste your money on this uninspired shakedown.    … Expand

    This game is an utter disaster. Spawns are terrible, LOADS of bugs, maps are poor, and sbmm is awful. PLEASE don't buy this pos. I beg you. NOT worth $70. Activi$ion can suck my nutz.

    ALso **** crashes, flickering. This game is 10 dollar.!!!!!!!

    Even the maps are boring as hell.

    So no one like how Infinity Ward has done the Perks and turned some Perks into "field upgrades" I'm sorry but it's was a bad idea.
    With that the multiplayer is almost unplayable.
    No joke I gave it a month and when I was sick of it I deleted it.

    It is the most intense and realistic multiplayer game I have ever seen. The clothing, equipment and glitter effects are insane. Activision keeps the promise that it is the most realistic game in Call of Duty history. Sarcasm off! STOP IT!

    Even Valorant is more fun, I don’t know why they have to put matchmaking in a casual game mode it makes zero sens, if they wanna put matchmaking in then make a matchmaking mode like how hard is it for em to get that, they got billions of dollar but can’t hear what everybody wants who made em billions of worth that’s crazy really. There should be no reason that a trilogy of games or basic re-skins of games that have been made before I was born should be this bad, I'm 20 why is a million dollar company doing this bad on a re-skin of cod overall this bad, the warzone is so bad and inconsistent that they can't even balance things half decent. The map layouts are messy and poorly layed out leaving you running into a sniper spot that overlooks 50-90%of the map completely cutting out any level of competitiveness, and speaking of, SBMM has completely erased the variety of matches, leaving you in a loop of getting steam rolled until your average KD lowers to the point to where you have a decent Mach then right back to the sweat box for what seems like a solid 72 hours. If you fee you might want this, just wait another 6months when the game maybe might work a little better and maybe just maybe activision decides to actually balance their $70 dollar “TRIPPLE A” title… Expand

    I cannot recommend this. The maps are so cluttered, and shipment has severe spawning issues. The sweats and people in the online are unbearable. Just people that make politics their whole personality. Or they want to harass minorities. I emailed Activision about some highly offensive user names, and no reply yet. This game is still the same cookie cutter embarrassment it has always been.

    cannot be sold at full price, this is a data disk of mw ps4 with a poor netcode and an inadeguate equilibrium in gameplay. Moreover veteran has been ruined and replaced by tier1 mode that is awfull. Don't give money to these ppl, MW2 it's a shame like BF2042.

    WORST COD CAMPAIGN I HAVE EVER PLAYED. Game breaking bugs (Wetwork Mission), constantly failing the mission due to unclear objectives (Hardpoint), horrendous level design, poor AI, stay clear of this one.

    ALSO DON'T SELL A GAME ON A DISC IF THERE IS NO GAME ON THE DISC.

    A downgrade on MW2019. No gunfight, worse perks, less guns (unless you count 20 variations of the same thing), ruined ground war, no night maps, weird campaign and lies about a 2 year cycle when guaranteed they're going to release a $70 add-on next October because charging $20 for a skin isn't greedy enough for these parasites.

    You support this and you get what you deserve.

    The game is good in my opinion compared to the Poop dumpster VANGUARD its really good. Oh though the campaign was kinda confusing it made sense what it was trying to lead up too and what it was trying to tell, unlike Bo3 and the gameplay and art was a 10/10. The multiplayer is good as well all thought the maps are wayyy too big and indoor half the time and the operator thing still sucksThe game is good in my opinion compared to the Poop dumpster VANGUARD its really good. The kill streaks are fun to use and the maps where some what creative but no as much. And spec ops isn't as bad like MW 2019 in fact better.     Modern warfare 2 has a really bad multiplayer experience which punishes you for trying to be aggressive. Grinding the battle pass takes too long with you only being able to gain 1 token in an hour which makes grinding the battle pass feel like a part time job. The best way to play this game is by camping otherwise you'll be dying every second by people who camp.

The large scale maps (64 players) have a very consistent loss rate on one side of the map. The large scale maps (64 players) have a very consistent loss rate on one side of the map. Quite telling that they have nearly no awareness and likely are bulked up with equity hires that never played a competitive game in their life, and likely never even experience their own poor creations to boot.

    One benefit is youll never have a shortage of things to buy, even when youre lagging on your way into the laughable servers with your new 20$ skins and rose-colored glasses.

    Theyve accrued billions in assets and choose to neglect even the most basic of necessities for an online multi-player shooter.

    Stop giving these vultures your dollars and time, and perhaps maybe we'll see an overall uptick in the qualitative nature of the game, as opposes to the quantitative dollar counting they appear to be more content in doing.    … Expand

    Let's be honest, there's really no bigger title to compete in the FPS genre at the moment, both in terms of the sometimes mediocre content and this year's very polished graphics. [Issue#324]

    A somewhat droll campaign will greet players of Modern Warfare II. It's a short bombastic romp with some fun gunplay moments and fantastic graphics. The multiplayer, however, is a miss as it is no longer a properly combined entity and the lack of replayability is disappointing. A recommendation for CoD fans but for anyone even slightly on the fence perhaps keep shopping or waiting for a sale.

    CoD MW 2 is a refreshing single-player experience, providing players with some of the best action-packed moments and great characters, but riddled with multiplayer balancing issues and extreme performance and technical problems. It still is CoD and is fun for anyone who finds its casual shooting gameplay compelling, but it plays safely and doesn’t present itself as something revolutionary for the franchise.
