May 3, 2022Truly a hidden gem of early PS5 years. Had this game as a PS+ game, and only after I finally got PS5, Bugsnax was the second game I've played on it, and I loved it so much, that I can't even find the right words to describe how fun it is.

Jan 31, 2021What were they smoking when they came up with this game? It seems to take ideas from other games and comes up with a fun new game.
-
Feb 6, 20218/10. Fun to play, gets tedious after some time tho. Also not the longest storyline I've ever seen.

Vale a pena jogar.

Feb 5, 2021Un jeu qui n'est pas du tout mauvais au contraire!! De bonnes mécaniques, marrant, jouissif...

Jun 18, 2021There is not much to hate about Bugsnax, There's nothing that's really offensive about it. It's just a Pokemon-esk game with some good characters and some annoying ones. It's good, I enjoyed it. I will say that this is a good free game (PS Plus), I wouldn't pay 60 bucks for it but it's a damn good game.

May 25, 2022Bugsnax is a fun game with its flaws. It's story was... interesting to say the least and overall I had fun. It's pacing was a bit odd. I did love all the Bugsnax. If you liked viva piñata you'll like this.

-
Mar 19, 2023Very weird, and kinda creepy towards the end. Although fun experience, very unique.

Oct 3, 2021Bugsnax is a good relaxing game.It is more like a Pokemon style game(you gotta catch them all).I liked the gameplay and story. The only things i didn't like is there is obvious LGBTQ implementation in the game, which is not good if small kids are playing.
-
Jan 11, 2021Quirky and cute with a surprisingly interesting story and characters. The core gameplay is serviceable, but lacks in variety. Many of the Bugsnax can be caught in very similar ways, leading to little challenge once you figure out all of the game's main tactics. Considering that it's free, it's still an easy recommendation for PS+ owners.

Jun 23, 2023Wasn’t horrible. Great game for a free game. Wouldn’t have purchased this myself, but it was enjoyable.

Apr 20, 2021El juego es bastante original, los "puzzles" son muy entretenidos. Pero falta profundidad, y podrían haber aprovechado más la potencia de la consola, sin pantallas de cargas o escenarios más potente.
-
Oct 27, 2022Fun game but it can get a little repetitive. Scanning the bugs and taking pictures is fun. The characters and story are interesting though, but I kind of got tired of catching bugs. Highly recommended though if you're looking for an easy going game.

Jan 14, 2021Wasn't expecting much from the game, but I was pleasantly surprised. The music, gameplay, and graphics all complement a very easy going story.

Mar 7, 2021At first it seems really psychedelic, but then it gets stuck between a kid's game and something for adults. While wanting to be both of those, it becomes neither. And there's too much f***ing propaganda in video games now, as well.
-
Aug 22, 2022Has the "gotta catch em all" appeal for the first couple of hours, then becomes quite repetitive. My favourite part was changing the Grumpus' body parts to see the different designs. Storyline was quite interesting considering this comes across as a children's game at first glance. Would not have bought this game if it wasn't free on PS Plus, but can appreciate it for what it is.

Dec 27, 2020Its a boring game, but at least its short to complete and I played it for "free" with PS plus. I give a 5 because I think developers put a lot of love and charisma on this game.
-
Feb 15, 2021Certainly unique, but absolutely RIDDLED with bugs and glitches, even months after launch. Expect to see NPCs suddenly "vanish" and need to repeat certain side-quests. Also disappointing to see the world split up into TINY 'levels' which long loading times between each - not what I'd expect from a PS5 game.
-
Dec 1, 2020Very meh game. It was fun at the start but got extremely repetitive soon after. There's nothing next gen about the game apart from the triggers, but not even that will save it. I ended up deleting the game after a few hours of play as I was too bored of it, so glad it was a free PSN game and I didn't buy it.

Nov 22, 2020Extremely boring and dumb. Horrible graphics, no inovation, not even in using dual sense technology (as done in Astros Playroom, which I loved it).

Jul 31, 2021I allowed my niece to play this game for 30 minutes since it was rated E, but then the game started with the homosexual agenda brainwashing. Got a refund right away, looked further into it. This is not a game for kids. There is even a scene where a character tries to commit suicide.

Feb 3, 2021OMH this game is awful terrible graphics terrible gameplay the immense amount of glitches and bugs in this game are unbelievable they need to fix this game now unplayable
-
Apr 12, 2022Weird game. It's very easy, repetitive, and awkward as an adult, yet it's also quite inappropriate for kids. Just feels like a boring game that only became popular because of memes because of its weirdness, but the game itself is not worth playing, even for free.
-
Nov 23, 2020Low effort games for kids. Kids that are really bored and to poor to afford Sack Boy.. Most of tbe games is listening to moronic stories from the irritating isand people working out some of the easiest pointless puzzles even put into a game.. The theme song is catchy though a 5 forthat.
-
Nov 27, 2020the graphics. you know this is what it's really all about. this game has the best graphics since ballz 3d and that's saying something, ok? the only game in our generation that can stand up to this is probably pooplers 3d.
-

Dec 3, 2020After the critically acclaimed death stranding, Reggie had to follow it up with the second strand type game, ten years later Bugsnax was born. With over sixteen times the detail and rtx ray tracing dlss this game really pushes the comador64's hardware to the max

PLAYJun 22, 2022A perfectly portioned final course. Just as witty as everything that came before, with plenty more to chew on. Sometimes bigger really is just better. [Issue#15, p.82]

Jan 4, 2021It’s just a shame that the core gameplay here is so dull. Everything else in Bugsnax would make it a strong GOTY contender, but the sheer repetitiveness of the game’s main task drags it all down. Still, given how high the rest of the game flies, there’s only so far down it can go — and as it stands, that still means you’re left with one heck of a game.

Dec 14, 2020Bugsnax leans heavily on the unique nature of its titular creatures, and it succeeds by doing so. They’re cute, they’re creepy, and their existence makes no logical sense whatsoever. Armed with a bit of design this indelible, the developers could have phoned in the rest and raked in the merchandising money. Instead, they fully committed to delivering a narrative worthy of the creatures starring in it. It was a risky choice, but it was also a daring and clever one, and that’s exactly what it wants to be.
