Jul 19, 2024Aware of its disdain for narrative, Bloodhound is everything that fans of a good boomer shooter could hope for, but it doesn't go much further than that. With some constraints and controversial design choices, the game feels like it hasn't reached its peak, which doesn't override the solidity of its extremely objective mechanics.

Jul 23, 2024The gameplay is fast and enjoyable, the variety of weapons and enemies is very good, but the high speed of giving weapons to the player so early, the lack of balance in their power and other problems in the gameplay make it not very enjoyable.

Jul 3, 2024Bloodhound takes inspiration from the Doom’s and Quake’s of the video game pantheon but fails to deliver anything more than lukewarm decency. The fires of hell are muted, dimly lit and unfortunately repetitive, holding back what may have been a more thrilling boomer shooter entry. A cheap and underwhelming way to spend an afternoon, Bloodhound offers something for retro shooter fans, but won’t be achieving true satanic infamy anytime soon.
