Aug 26, 2023This is just one of those games that absolutely blows my mind. The puzzles are fun, combat weapons are fantastic, upgrades are worthy, boss fights are outstanding and this **** soundtrack absolutely slaps. Don’t sleep on this masterpiece.

Aug 28, 20232023’s most perfect game for sure , the art style , bosses , sound track and polished on day 1 with no patches need … the wait was worth it and the price is affordable

Aug 26, 2023Esta feo que lo diga yo. Simplemente escribo esto para compensar algún cero. Que el juego te puede gustar más o menos, pero un cero? Muy severo no? Yo que sé tan mal está?

Sep 5, 2023Awesome game, great atmosphere.. the only problem were the bosses.. they were too easy.
-

Aug 27, 2023Really cool metroidvania. Maybe even better than the first. Only complaint is that the difficulty was poorly balanced. Often a bit too easy, sometimes really quite hard. Made some possibly interesting bossfights miss the opportunity of really having to learn patterns, and others annoyingly repetitive. Oh, and old men talk too slow

Sep 6, 2023Really not as good as the first one, but a fantastic game nonetheless.
Easy recommend. -
Aug 30, 2023Masterpiece. Muy accesible para jugadores no acostumbrados a los metroidvania... y a un precio de salida fenomenal.... Recomendado.

Aug 31, 2023It's a perfect sequel. I don't know what more you could ask for if you loved the first game.
-
Sep 6, 2023Once again a really good game, with good story, amazing bosses, music and it has improved the mechanics. Totally recommended.
-
Sep 8, 2023A worthy follow-up, which improves in almost every way. Varied weapons, skill tree, a nice mix of platforming to complement the combat. I would appreciate more standard enemies instead of just variants (different colour with different element of damage

Nov 7, 2023Blasphemous 2 felt incredibly good to play despite its challenging nature and complex combat. It’s a great Soulslike 2D action-platformer that doesn’t rely on nonsense gimmicks that make the game artificially difficult for the sake of being punishing. Its exploration, art direction, and worldbuilding are unmatched in a sea of modern Metroidvanias released in 2023. If you’re down for a good challenge or path of penitence in a Roman Catholic-inspired 2D platformer, look no further. Like it or not, you will pay for your gameplay sins.

PLAYSep 27, 2023An aggravating mix of truly gorgeous visuals and some fun platforming challenges with unsatisfying combat. It feels often flat, and doesn’t live up to the first game. [Issue#32, p.72]

Edge MagazineSep 9, 2023Our pilgrimage is one marked by the cuts and bruises we accumulate along the way, yet we find ourselves encouraged by a familiar mantra: how sweet the pain, indeed, when it is our own. [Issue#389, p.106]
