    Baldurs Gate 3 delivers, from it's unique story, likeable characters, and extensive character creation. The story is so in depth that you end up losing track of time and just want to keep playing. It's turn based style element, isn't one I'm usually into but given the fact that is the world of Dungeons and Dragons it's extremely fitting for the games immersive storyline. The dice rollingBaldurs Gate 3 delivers, from it's unique story, likeable characters, and extensive character creation. The story is so in depth that you end up losing track of time and just want to keep playing. It's turn based style element, isn't one I'm usually into but given the fact that is the world of Dungeons and Dragons it's extremely fitting for the games immersive storyline. The dice rolling element is a welcome addition and adds to the immersive element. It feels like I'm playing a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. I highly recommend it and encourage everyone to give this game a try. I tip my hat to Larian Studios, I can't wait to see what they add into the game in the future.… Expand

Without a doubt one of the best video games of recent years, excellently well polished, both in mechanics, history, character development... And the music, god how can I forget the music, majestic.

    Normally I play first person action or third person action games that don't have a steep learning curve or or require significant time investment to get some kind of enjoyment or value out of. This is the first RPG since Mass Effect trilogy that actually has me hooked.     Absolutely beautiful game. This is the type of game I’ve been waiting for. They amount of choices and decisions you can make is actually insane. This game definitely should win Goty if I’m being honest or Zelda.

    Amazing game! ALL negative reviews are disgusting Starfield and Zelda fanboys who don't even own BG3, trying their hardest to review-bomb the clear GOTY, so their games can stand a chance. Ignore them, they are toxic sore losers.

    Amazing game with great graphics, gameplay and story. I was afraid that it would be hard to play on PS5 but it really plays very smooth and intuitive. Great job from Larien Studio.

Es mas, si revisas los perfiles de los que están sacando 0 y 1 veras que le dieron un 10 ¿a quien mas?     Bought this for Mac one Early access, played it on Windows (since it’s not fully released on Mac yet and then bought it for PS5. My fave RPG of all time. If this doesn’t win GOTY, I’d be surprised.

    Starting this review off by saying I've played both on PC and PS5 and I'm leaving this review on the PS5 version to offset the review bombs by fanboys that are mad the game isn't currently on Xbox due to the technical issues Larian had with the Series S. My actual score would be a 9.8 if I could make a more customizable score. With the .2 of a point being knocked off for things like theStarting this review off by saying I've played both on PC and PS5 and I'm leaving this review on the PS5 version to offset the review bombs by fanboys that are mad the game isn't currently on Xbox due to the technical issues Larian had with the Series S. With the .2 of a point being knocked off for things like the somewhat annoying inventory systems, an example being you can't access inactive companions' inventories leading to clunky management to sort inventories. Also there are some annoyances with the camera and NPCs (generally being friendly NPCs) choosing the dumbest/useless choices/moves in combat. Other than those few things though the game is the closest to a perfect game in years, from the voice acting and characters, to the choices and consequences, and the music is amazing as well, and despite all the variables in scenes the music generally fits perfectly and improves the scenes. The options in both combat and exploration are massive and your class or classes add even more. As this review is for the PS5 version I should mention the controller controls, despite importing my level 12 character finding all my spells and abilities was pretty easy to do (and in some ways even better/easier than with the Keyboard and Mouse controls) and the framerate, other than the actual city of Baldur's Gate, was mostly good/steady, and to get an nearly stable framerate you could use the 30FPS mode as well.… Expand

    Best game of 2023. It gives complete freedom unlike Starfield which is very boring and empty. Every nook and crany in Baldur's Gate 3 is full of stuff. There are different ways to tackle a fight, a scenario or a quest. This is a must try game.

    I'm going to say it. DoS2 had better combat. Ya boo me all you want, its still true. Pretty much everything else is better in BG3. Still a slight let down and why I cant give it a perfect 10.

    First and foremost, I'm not a CRPG fan and a majority of D&D lore goes over my head, but I can base my review on the content provided... and they provided lots.

    Additionally, I really like the cameos/easter eggs.

    Absolutely amazing game. I literally can't put it down. Graphics are good. Story is gripping. Also the voice acting is probably the best I've seen in a RPG. Probably the most immersive RPG I've played.

This game give you the choices to literally play however you want. The graphics look fantastic, not quite as good as other PS5 games. But considering how ambitious the game is it's not an issue.     If you loved Divinity Original Sin 2 then this will be the best game you ever played. If you hated Divinity Original Sin you will also Hate this game it is that simple. They are basically the same except Baldurs Gate 3 made it easier to learn and play than Divinity was. This type of game plays best with a mouse and keyboard it is not well suited for consoles IMO.     One of the best games to come out in recent history, its a bit on the slow side and there's a bit to learn if you aren't into D&D but thankfully Youtube is helping with that, cross save from steam to PS5 works like a charm and the co-op is amazing while its a struggle when your time poor its a game that you can leave for a hit and come back to

    36 hours in and i am totally hooked, so many different options with twist and turns that can be decided by a roll of dice. + Great writing

    Baldur's Gate 3 is not the same as the other 2 entries of the series. It has none of the Black Isle design or logic. This is a solid Larian studios that, using the Forgotten Realms campaign setting and the lore that has been developed for it for over 40 years, create a good, immersive game. The plot is engaging and there are so many thing to do sidequest wise that you feel like the worldBaldur's Gate 3 is not the same as the other 2 entries of the series. It has none of the Black Isle design or logic. This is a solid Larian studios that, using the Forgotten Realms campaign setting and the lore that has been developed for it for over 40 years, create a good, immersive game. The plot is engaging and there are so many thing to do sidequest wise that you feel like the world is your candy shop.

    Which leads to the negatives... There are areas and characters that have suffered even though there was a huge development cycle (looking at you Karlach!), with some side quest endings feeling rushed and not as good as one would have hoped. There are no bags of holding (HERESY!) and there are times where the engine stutters and you miss cinematic moves during a dialogue. And apparently everyone in the realms is thirsty and gender is a suggestion!

    All in all, a really good, solid Larian game. If you like CRPGs or RPGs in general you should at the very least try it.    … Expand

    I'm glad we've been blessed with such a great game and don't understand the partially bad reviews here at all.

    The performance is great, also there are almost no bugs or dropouts. So definitely a super good game that you can't go wrong with. Because of the poorer performance in act 3 but still 9/10 until the problem is fixed.

    For someone that does not really enjoy Turn Based Combat, I was surprised. This game is so enjoyable, everything and everyone has a personality, new stuff and new event always happens they are never any dull moments in this game. I highly recommend for any one to play this even if they isn’t your cup of tea.

The only reason I’m not giving it a 10 is because I believe that the game could use some QOL updates such as armor/weapon transmog, dye previews, & relationshipThis game is a must-play for any PS5 owners.     Graphics: 9 (some pop in but not to bad) Music: 10 (holy **** that main theme) Gameplay: 9 (the inventory menu is a little different but overall the gameplay is every engaging) Optimization: 8 ( act 3 needs some work but it isn’t game breaking) Story: 9 (so far I’m only 80 hours haven’t finished the campaign    Alright been waiting for this game for awhile now so I will keep this short.

    Content is great, but ergonomy and loading times are sometimes abysmal. The design of the game itself forces you to constantly reload and save like crazy, resulting in fustrating trial and error with long loading times.

I enjoy turn based combat games however the only thing annoying me is just how painfully difficult it is even on normal difficulty setting - I feel like all fights I can’t win & I know this isn’tGame is stunning to look at on the PS5 and I haven’t encountered any performance related issues. I’m new to the whole genre and Baldurs gate franchise, purchased due to all the hype around it. I enjoy turn based combat games however the only thing annoying me is just how painfully difficult it is even on normal difficulty setting - I feel like all fights I can’t win & I know this isn’t just me seems to be a widespread complaint.… Expand

    Es un juego simplemente imposible de jugar en ps5, el control presenta muchos fallos a la hora de jugar, los sus lo hacen simplemente desesperante de jugar. Recomiendo la versión pc. O puede esperar que hagan parches para corregir los spf. No lo recomiendo en versión consola

    A great RPG with a big scope, however, performance is poor and the game struggles to chug along once hitting ACT 2. reviews claimed this to be the "most polished game" its far from it if you enjoy CRPGs youll enjoy this, but keep in mind, the performance is subpar and takes you out of the immersion

Se non ti piace il genere, a meno che tu non ti faccia trascinare dall'entusiasmo degli youtuber, non ti piacerà nemmeno questo. Combattimenti a turni per me noiosi, game play classico di movimentazione personaggi a gregge. Non fa per me. Detto questo, nel genere, ben fatto. Ma nulla più.

    Just.... Wow. My son, my girlfriend and I are obsessed. My daughter loves to watch and hear. It's really game changing. I loved the idea of D&D but haven't had the luxury to play. I've also played some of the first Baulder's Gate when I was a kid. This has got to be the best video game I've ever played, genuinely. I thought for sure Hogwarts Legacy was going to win GOTY, we're a huge HarryJust.... Wow. My son, my girlfriend and I are obsessed. My daughter loves to watch and hear. It's really game changing. I loved the idea of D&D but haven't had the luxury to play. I've also played some of the first Baulder's Gate when I was a kid. This has got to be the best video game I've ever played, genuinely. I thought for sure Hogwarts Legacy was going to win GOTY, we're a huge Harry Potter family... Baulder's Gate 3 beat my fan bias lol. This game is phenomenal.     Ok for starters doesn’t really play that well on ps5. Can’t find where I have to go. Map is terrible. This spoils the great dialogue, audio and fighting. So I find after pre ordering the game I had difficulty getting into the game. There are really good things about the game but it did not get me addicted.     Played this game basically for the exploration and world building just about hate the turn base combat system and if it weren't for that I'd give this game a perfect score it just takes way to long to defeat enemies they really need to add in the setting or something were you can fight like a normal action game.

    Made for a PC. The controls are best with mouse and keyboard. Inventory management is a chore. Very similar to Original Sin 2, with a pseudo-Dnd rules (not 5th - more like Pathfinder 2 action economy). Combat is sloooo2 and prone to exploits that haven't been patched. Good cinematics and story, but just watch a Netflix show.

    2023 is finally actually good year for gaming, tons of great games and this is the year when some absolute losers want to overhype game that could have released in 2001 and still wouldn't been special?? i'm hopeful that this is just loud minority.

    The game itself is what I expected gameplay wise But the really poor framerate and choppy way it plays isn't making me want to continue playing. Maybe if they patch it and fast I'll up my score and continue. Feels like a rushed port.

These games had decent fanbase on PC, but they were never mainstream level.     But now it's 2023 and everyone takes gaming more seriously than religion and bunch of different people are overhyping this game for different reasons. There are diablo fans (haters), there are those who forgot that Final Fantasy hasn't been turn based for 20 years and want new games to be turn based and then there are those who like to go along with hypetrain, without even caring if the game is actually any good.

    And then Act 3 happened. I started having performance issues, I started having weird glitches were my companions would lose half their bodies and    This is tough to write because honestly, Act 1 and 2 make this game THE Game of the Year. Heck, I was ready to put it in my top 5 all time favorite games. I have 100+ hours in this game now and just loved the story and choices and the combat.

    And then Act 3 happened. I started having performance issues, I started having weird glitches were my companions would lose half their bodies and couldn't fight anymore, I've had 5 different quests completely bug out on me and even a main quest bug out that I can't even complete. Not only that, but the story choices of what is going on - the main bad guys and fights aren't as thought out as things were in the first 2 acts. It is very clear that Act 3 was completely rushed in my opinion to get the release out the door and does not have the same care that Acts 1 and 2 had.

    All of that enjoyment of Acts 1 and 2 to just come up against the frustrations in Act 3 killed my enthusiasm for this game. I know Larian will likely fix these issues as I suspect as more people start finishing the game they will see/hear this criticism - and quite possibly they already know this. But I can't in good faith recommend someone spend 80+ hours in a game and then just run up against game breaking bugs that won't allow them to finish the game they way they want to.     You gonna like it if you like very traditional turn-based RPG, otherwise you are going to be tortured by the rhythm. Storyline is normal. Overall not as outstanding as the hype going on out there. I am not sure since when a rich content equals to a good content, and a large open world equals to a good game element.

    Juego muy mal optimizado para jugar en ps5, es un juego para jugar con teclado y ratón, por mucho que nos quieran convencer los mandos tienen sus limitaciones, en modo calidad no alcanza ni los 30fps estables, estoy harto de que nos engañen con los fps, 4k y el ray tracing...a mentir a vuestra madre.

    Después de haber jugado al chained echoes y al sea of stars este juego me ha parecido una auténtico timo. Lo peor de todo es que los jugadores se están acostumbrando a juegos mal optimizados y que tienen que ser reparcheados constantemente. Bendito el día en el que jugué a los final fantasy y al chrono trigger.

    Dos2 was much better than this crap, it's so annoying on ps5, inventory management is a joke. So many things is wrong with this game I don't want to even start, boring story most important, overhyped game, and I loved BG 1 and worship bg2.

    It is abundantly clear why this massive adventure took six years to develop from every lovingly sharpened plot hook, every subtle quirk of a party member’s lips, and every new arrangement of that gorgeous, central musical motif.
