    60 hours in and im blown away at how good this RPG is. The setting, characters, story and combat are all top tier. BG3 has set the bar so high there will be nothing to match it in the years to come and maybe a once in a lifetime type of game. Thousands of hours of gameplay, there is so much to do and see around literally every corner. Tachician difficultly makes combat extremely60 hours in and im blown away at how good this RPG is. The setting, characters, story and combat are all top tier. BG3 has set the bar so high there will be nothing to match it in the years to come and maybe a once in a lifetime type of game. Thousands of hours of gameplay, there is so much to do and see around literally every corner. Tachician difficultly makes combat extremely strategic, rewarding and fun. If you like rpg's you should absolutely buy this master piece, you will not be disappointed. Lets hope for dlc.… Expand

    My first Baldur’s Gate experience but it has been absolutely amazing and addictive! I love the story, gameplay and the many options you can pick and choose.

    Best game of the last 10 years at least. Maybe ever. The only reason to not play the game: you're not into turn-based combat, cause then you might have the feeling of it being too slow-paced.

    Ce jeu est exceptionnel, pas comme l’exclu Xbox STARFIELD qui s’avère être un vrai désastre.

    Отличная игра. Очень вариативная, много возможностей для отыгрыша. Графика шагнула на вперед на порядок. Конечно можно было бы сделать что бы ноги не проходили сквозь плащ ,но это не повод занижать оценку.

    Easily one of the best RPGs I've ever had the pleasure of playing. If you enjoy turn based games, then you will probably love this. If you don't, I'd still recommend trying it out when it eventually goes on sale. There's so much bang for your buck here. I'd go into detail about what I like, but I don't want to give out any spoilers. I know I try to avoid them in reviews

    I can't begin to explain how much I love this game, the graphics are amazing and it runs as smooth as ever. I've heard it runs at PC ultra settings and you can definitely tell. I spent 2 hours in the character maker because it's so in depth and amazing. Everything you could ever want.

    BG3 has rolled a 20 to get itself into GOTY contention.
    From the smooth gameplay and gorgeous graphics, this is the true next generation experience and no other RPG comes close. This will be remembered as one of the greatest games.

    A true masterpiece. I’ve never been a fan of games like these, I’m more of an Action gamer. I was incredibly surprised and impressed how immersive and rich the universe is in the game. I got hooked from the first moments after starting the game. The story is full and detailed, characters deep and interesting. It’s the first game I genuinely enjoy clearing all side quests and spendingA true masterpiece. I’ve never been a fan of games like these, I’m more of an Action gamer. I was incredibly surprised and impressed how immersive and rich the universe is in the game. I got hooked from the first moments after starting the game. The story is full and detailed, characters deep and interesting. It’s the first game I genuinely enjoy clearing all side quests and spending stupid amount of my time on it too!     BG3 is actually the perfect RPG game. Has had me hooked ever since release and I’ve seriously been nonstop playing. Amazing storytelling, lovable characters and the strategic gameplay is so fun. 10/10 would recommend.

    Played this on PC first. PS5 version is second for better co-op experience, from the standpoint that my family is remote and they don't have all PC's. LOVE this game.     There's so much this game does right, but my favorite detail is the hand-drawn grid maps for every location. It's a love letter to tabletop and I have yet to see any reviewer mention it. This game breathes excellence and will inspire a generation of new game developers to meet the standards this game set.

    The Goat, I have played games since 1990, and this is my first comment on games, I give 10 of 10 for baldur's gate 3, massive stories and choices and open ending drive me exciting and unforgettable, 2023 is an amazing year in game history, Zelda has already made a great job but compared with BG3, I prefer giving a little bit higher rating to BG3.

The mechanics work almost flawlessly on controller it has some slight jack, but it hasn't taken away from my immersive experience. The story and characters are extremely compelling and the maps are massive. Reactivity is at an all time high. Combat is some of the best I've played and this is coming from someone who usually hates turn based Combat. This system won me over though for building my party effectively paying attention to the environment, and strategizing on using it with my abilities to the fullest. It feels like a loving breathing world and it's refreshing to have a game where I'm not special I'm just a dude with a worm in my head with other people with the same issue. Here's to many more adventures in Faerûn. Huzzah!… Expand

Besides minor fps issues, Act 3 plays just fine as I rummaged through Baldur’s Gate in quality mode and knowing Larian Studios will remedy the situation on later patches.

    But enough of that,    As someone who’s played this game on PC and then my PS5 through cross save, I can honestly say that those who gave this game a rating of zeros and 1’s because of Act 3 is unfounded and are lying. Besides minor fps issues, Act 3 plays just fine as I rummaged through Baldur’s Gate in quality mode and knowing Larian Studios will remedy the situation on later patches.

    But enough of that, this game is the best RPG hands down ever created (game of the year) and must be emulated by other studios especially since they aren’t even a AAA developer. I’ve put in hundreds of hours in the game and each new playthrough can be played differently depending on your class, stats and moral alignment resulting on multiple endings. This is a game that you can definitely play for years to come either solo, couch co-op or online multiplayer.

    Don’t believe on naysayers as they are either review bombing the game in support of other developers who doesn’t want to craft a masterpiece game and or liars with nothing better to do. This is easily a 95/100.    … Expand

    An amazing game. I have spent countless hours since launch exploring and engaging in visceral turn based combat. The story is fantastic and the characters are brilliantly written with tons of depth. The voice acting is phenomenal too! This game is truly a masterpiece.

    We play with wife on PS5 via split screen. Now we have a lot of new topics to talk together. And we wait for the end of the working day to quickly come home and start playing! The game is very diverse, interesting and beautiful! And we just want to say - many thanks to the developers! This is one of the best games we have ever played!

The game is complicated - especially to those who are not familiar with DnD mechanics - and you're required to really take your time with it.     I've been playing on Tactician, so every choice I make determines how well I do in the fight.     I love this game. Already clocked in at 24 hours of play time, been playing early access because I preordered the game and been having a blast all around.

    I love it when RPGs give you complete agency over everything, and it seems to have no limitations on what you can or can't do, the dialogue options are fun, the characters are interesting to talk to with their own motives and    I love this game.     I love it when RPGs give you complete agency over everything, and it seems to have no limitations on what you can or can't do, the dialogue options are fun, the characters are interesting to talk to with their own motives and ambitions, the setting is fun. This game has very few weaknesses.

    The only downside one might see is turn-based combat, but I honestly think it was done pretty well here. The sheer number of skills and perks you get for characters allows you tons of ways to make the combat fun. It's even to a point where you can give your characters the ability to attack multiple times per turn and decimate enemy camps with high dps. The RPG aspects is what initially got me playing this game but the combat is so much fun that I can't put the game down.

    The game also gives you tons of game options to customize the game to make things even more difficult if you want it to be. I really like the karmic dice option which allows you to go classic DND ruleset using the dice more often which can make combat and dialogues even more complex than it is.

    The sheer amount of ways to have fun and keep you engaged and coming back to this game is why I think Baldur's Gate 3 is a masterpiece.    … Expand

    There are so many things to say about this game that I could just stand up and applaud for 10 minutes straight. It's definitely a game that deserves to be the "Game of the Year," absolutely fantastic in every aspect. Hats off to Larian.

    For those who played the previous games and always loved rpg, BG3 is wonderful, graphically beautiful, the wonderful dnd system and the possibilities with classes, engaging story, exploration and side quests in a fantasy world.

    Never played any d&d games and this one was my first. Was really sceptical but boy I was wrong and the game is amazing. Love everything about it and would recommend anyone to play it :)

    Groundbreaking games introduce new players to a genre or subgenre they normally wouldn't consider, BG3 is exactly that. I'm by no means a fan of D&D or really any tabletop game but this was so compelling it's been impossible to put down. While I'm roughly only 20 hours into the game this has already been one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've ever had. Pure, Magic.

    Great game, i’ve had about 30 hours play time so far. Ignore the xbox trolls mad about star field and coming to review bomb the game. This game is an experience you won’t forget. This game runs pretty well, haven’t noticed crazy frame drops.

    This game is such a joy to play. Great gameplay, great story, amazing world and great characters. After Divinity Original Sin II, this is definitely my favorite game from Larian Studios. Lived it.

    I have played games since 1990, and this is my first comment on games, I give 10 of 10 for baldur's gate 3, massive stories and choices and open ending drive me exciting and unforgettable, 2023 is an amazing year in game history, Zelda has already made a great job but compared with BG3, I prefer giving a little bit higher rating to BG3.

    What a game. This is what should be the benchmark when calling something game of the generation. I’ve never played a game where I’ve had as much fun and gave a sense of adventure like this. Split screen has its issues but it’s things that can be patched and Larian is working hard to provide said patches having already made 2 hotfixes in the span on 4 days.     When a game manages to make you think about it and play it with your mind even when you're not sitting at the console and waiting for the time to pass to re-enter this beautiful world and continue your journey then somewhere there you just realize that you are dealing with a real masterpiece. Being able to give a dualsense to a friend at any time and to sit side by side and play together with the screen switching incredibly smoothly to split screen and back to full screen, without having to enter a different menu, is an experience that can only be described as positive. It's been a while since I've gotten so hooked on a game and what makes it even better is that we're already in a very good year for gaming as there have already been very good games released across all systems and the year isn't even over yet strong releases are coming and the Baldur's Gate III is up against games that, had they been released in previous years, would have easily won the GOTY.     10/10 a masterpiece so much better than that garbage Starfield, I wish this game was only on PlayStation so I could rub it in the faces of those Xbots, Ignore the low frames at some points in the game because I know the series X can't do any better and the series S is trash.

    Aunque mi Series S no lo pueda mover, no se le puede reprochar nada a este juegazo, Larian no tiene la culpa de que mi consola sea un lastre. Hay que ser objetivos y este juego es el GOTY. Lástima que Starfield haya salido truño.

    Llevo una vida jugando videojuegos, y aunque siempre han existido títulos asombrosos, a nivel personal han existido pocos que generan en mi recordar como fue jugar mi primer videojuego, dónde todo es nuevo y emocionante. En este caso BG3 lo ha conseguido e invito a cualquiera que le de una oportunidad, es un gran trabajo.     It is abundantly clear why this massive adventure took six years to develop from every lovingly sharpened plot hook, every subtle quirk of a party member’s lips, and every new arrangement of that gorgeous, central musical motif. Baldur’s Gate 3 is a glorious lightning strike, pairing talent with timing for not just a worthy successor to the series’ crown, but something truly special in its own right.
