    When I look at the reviews with 0 you can bet that they are "Xbox fans" (with Starfield ratings at 10, or "Nintendo fans" (with TOTK at 10), or "it was better before" (just people who think BG1/2 was better, or it's DOS3 not BG3, etc.)

    I can't begin to explain how much I love this game, the graphics are amazing and it runs as smooth as ever. I've heard it runs at PC ultra settings and you can definitely tell. I spent 2 hours in the character maker because it's so in depth and amazing. Everything you could ever want.

    Amazing game! ALL negative reviews are disgusting Starfield and Zelda fanboys who don't even own BG3, trying their hardest to review-bomb the clear GOTY, so their games can stand a chance. Ignore them, they are toxic sore losers.

    60 hours in and im blown away at how good this RPG is. The setting, characters, story and combat are all top tier. BG3 has set the bar so high there will be nothing to match it in the years to come and maybe a once in a lifetime type of game. Thousands of hours of gameplay, there is so much to do and see around literally every corner. Tachician difficultly makes combat extremely60 hours in and im blown away at how good this RPG is. The setting, characters, story and combat are all top tier. BG3 has set the bar so high there will be nothing to match it in the years to come and maybe a once in a lifetime type of game. Thousands of hours of gameplay, there is so much to do and see around literally every corner. Tachician difficultly makes combat extremely strategic, rewarding and fun. If you like rpg's you should absolutely buy this master piece, you will not be disappointed. Lets hope for dlc.… Expand

    BG3 is actually the perfect RPG game. Has had me hooked ever since release and I’ve seriously been nonstop playing. Amazing storytelling, lovable characters and the strategic gameplay is so fun. 10/10 would recommend.

    Absolutely beautiful game. This is the type of game I’ve been waiting for. They amount of choices and decisions you can make is actually insane. This game definitely should win Goty if I’m being honest or Zelda.

It seems like the devs had a golden idea not in pure game design but how to catch the attention of people who never interact with real people.     An amazing game. I have spent countless hours since launch exploring and engaging in visceral turn based combat. The story is fantastic and the characters are brilliantly written with tons of depth. The voice acting is phenomenal too! This game is truly a masterpiece.

This is the first RPG since Mass Effect trilogy that actually has me hooked.     Dos2 was much better than this crap, it's so annoying on ps5, inventory management is a joke. So many things is wrong with this game I don't want to even start, boring story most important, overhyped game, and I loved BG 1 and worship bg2.

    Absolutely amazing game. I literally can't put it down. Graphics are good. Story is gripping. Also the voice acting is probably the best I've seen in a RPG. Probably the most immersive RPG I've played.

    Game is stunning to look at on the PS5 and I haven’t encountered any performance related issues. I’m new to the whole genre and Baldurs gate franchise, purchased due to all the hype around it. I enjoy turn based combat games however the only thing annoying me is just how painfully difficult it is even on normal difficulty setting - I feel like all fights I can’t win & I know this isn’tGame is stunning to look at on the PS5 and I haven’t encountered any performance related issues. I’m new to the whole genre and Baldurs gate franchise, purchased due to all the hype around it. There isn't much left to be desired and the patches for minor bugs are coming in frequently. Any person rating this less than a 10 has either lost mind from skull, or they're shamelessly doing so because an "exclusive overhyped". space "thriller" failed miserably to deliver.… Expand

    The game itself is what I expected gameplay wise But the really poor framerate and choppy way it plays isn't making me want to continue playing. Maybe if they patch it and fast I'll up my score and continue. Feels like a rushed port.

This game has given me so many hours of great entertainment, both in singleplayer, and currently in a multiplayer campaign with my younger brother. The only reason I’m not giving it a 10 is because I believe that the game could use some QOL updates such as armor/weapon transmog, dye previews, & relationshipThis game is a must-play for any PS5 owners.     For someone that does not really enjoy Turn Based Combat, I was surprised. This game is so enjoyable, everything and everyone has a personality, new stuff and new event always happens they are never any dull moments in this game. I highly recommend for any one to play this even if they isn’t your cup of tea.

This game give you the choices to literally play however you want. The graphics look fantastic, not quite as good as other PS5 games. But considering how ambitious the game is it's not an issue.     One of the best Rpgs I have ever played and easily one of my all time favorite games. The amount of care and passion that went into Baldurs Gate 3 is simply astounding. Even if you are usually not a big fan of turns-bases combat, I would highly recommend to check out Baldurs Gate 3 regardless. This game is a masterpiece!

    Baldurs Gate 3 delivers, from it's unique story, likeable characters, and extensive character creation. The story is so in depth that you end up losing track of time and just want to keep playing. It's turn based style element, isn't one I'm usually into but given the fact that is the world of Dungeons and Dragons it's extremely fitting for the games immersive storyline. The dice rollingBaldurs Gate 3 delivers, from it's unique story, likeable characters, and extensive character creation. The story is so in depth that you end up losing track of time and just want to keep playing. It's turn based style element, isn't one I'm usually into but given the fact that is the world of Dungeons and Dragons it's extremely fitting for the games immersive storyline. The dice rolling element is a welcome addition and adds to the immersive element. It feels like I'm playing a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. I highly recommend it and encourage everyone to give this game a try. I tip my hat to Larian Studios, I can't wait to see what they add into the game in the future.… Expand

Very good game,turn based is not for everyone and honestly,I think I would like it better if it was real time action but it makes up for it in the rpg department. It’s engaging,looks beautiful and runs well on the ps5. All of these performance issues,i did not experience. Crashed once,framerate dropped and has a few bugs that needs to be ironed out. Realistically it’s an 8.5-9 for me but giving it a 10 to combat the loonies on here giving it 0 and the ones praising it to high heavens only to give it a 5/10. I guarantee you none of the people giving it a low score actually played it and it’s pretty obvious. Oh and yes there’s a non binary character choice so if you’re allergic to that,just walk away… Expand

    There are some minor bugs in the PS5 version, as you would expect for a game of this size and magnitude, but larian has been on the ball fixing issues.

    Played this on PC first. PS5 version is second for better co-op experience, from the standpoint that my family is remote and they don't have all PC's. LOVE this game. So many choices and so much variety. You have to like this game style, but if you are a DnD or Pathfinder player, this shouldn't be an issue. If your a Call of Duty player and looking for more of the same, this is not thePlayed this on PC first.     You gonna like it if you like very traditional turn-based RPG, otherwise you are going to be tortured by the rhythm. Storyline is normal. Overall not as outstanding as the hype going on out there. I am not sure since when a rich content equals to a good content, and a large open world equals to a good game element.

    A great RPG with a big scope, however, performance is poor and the game struggles to chug along once hitting ACT 2. reviews claimed this to be the "most polished game" its far from it if you enjoy CRPGs youll enjoy this, but keep in mind, the performance is subpar and takes you out of the immersion

    Não me divertia tanto com um jogo de turno desde Divinity Sin 2. Cada personagem é único com suas personalidades e características. Baldur's gate 3 merece ser o goty.

    Amazing beautiful game, graphics are beautiful. The gameplay is so smooth, beautiful! Very fun, interesting story and next-gen!

    But this game…it’s the best game ever!

So far I’m about 40 hours into the game. I’m still on act one and can’t put this game down! The world is beautiful, and I can’t help exploring every inch of it!     The performance is great, also there are almost no bugs or dropouts. So definitely a super good game that you can't go wrong with. Because of the poorer performance in act 3 but still 9/10 until the problem is fixed.

    Baldur's Gate III is a turn-based CRPG with an absolutely fantastic story and a lovingly crafted game world. For me, it is one of the best games of all time because it gives me every freedom to shape the story in my own direction. However, this may be considered a "risk" by some players. You are not taken by the hand like in Ubisoft games, but have to work out your own adventure (which iBaldur's Gate III is a turn-based CRPG with an absolutely fantastic story and a lovingly crafted game world. For me, it is one of the best games of all time because it gives me every freedom to shape the story in my own direction. However, this may be considered a "risk" by some players. You are not taken by the hand like in Ubisoft games, but have to work out your own adventure (which i LOVE in a rpg). This happens through discovery, conversations with NPCs and a few (but not too many) fixed main story points. If you do this, then you are rewarded with a really immersive RPG experience.

    Furthermore, I find the quality of the game convincing across all three acts. Content-wise, I even like the third act the best, as it has some incredibly epic quest lines that put just about any other RPG to shame. From time to time, however, there are still minor performance bugs in this Act. Nothing too bad though, give it a try.

    As a conclusion, if you fancy an incredible role-playing experience, this is your game. 10/10 :)

    The following tips:

    - talk to almost all NPCs

    - save frequently

    - don't forget the Speak with animals and Speak to dead spells, as they give you access to some of the best content.

    - When fighting, remember that not only damage is important, but also the number of moves your player and opponent make and penalty and attack rolls. Therefore, frequently use support spells and potions. There are some great Youtube-videos that may help you out!

    So this is my first turn based game. Personally Eldin ring is my favorite game of all time. Loved the exploration and density of the world. This game is giving me a similar feeling and I love it. Have never played a game so dense with content that's actually enjoyable to do and not recycled throughout the world. To those on the fence just give it a shot. It's special.

    2023 is finally actually good year for gaming, tons of great games and this is the year when some absolute losers want to overhype game that could have released in 2001 and still wouldn't been special?? i'm hopeful that this is just loud minority.

There are diablo fans (haters), there are those who forgot that Final Fantasy hasn't been turn based for 20 years and want new games to be turn based and then there are those who like to go along with hypetrain, without even caring if the game is actually any good.

    Did i like it? No i didn't. In 1999 i might have enjoyed it, but even back then it wouldn't have been nothing special.    … Expand

    Larian making history with this game, what a masterpiece. One of my favourite games of all time along FF, ocarina of time or morrowind. Cant compare beocuse the time distance, but this game its gonna be for new generations what those games were for little me long ago.

    10/10 a masterpiece so much better than that garbage Starfield, I wish this game was only on PlayStation so I could rub it in the faces of those Xbots, Ignore the low frames at some points in the game because I know the series X can't do any better and the series S is trash.

    I'm so happy fot hte progress BG3 is. It is an entirely new step in gaming. Above everything. I really cannot recommend it enough. Story-wise, narration-wise, visually, musically... Such a modern Masterpiece.

Being able to give a dualsense to a friend at any time and to sit side by side and play together with the screen switching incredibly smoothly to split screen and back to full screen, without having to enter a different menu, is an experience that can only be described as positive. It's been a while since I've gotten so hooked on a game and what makes it even better is that we're already in a very good year for gaming as there have already been very good games released across all systems and the year isn't even over yet strong releases are coming and the Baldur's Gate III is up against games that, had they been released in previous years, would have easily won the GOTY. And he has managed among all this to already set the bar very high to be this year's GOTY.… Expand

    A true masterpiece. I’ve never been a fan of games like these, I’m more of an Action gamer. I was incredibly surprised and impressed how immersive and rich the universe is in the game. I got hooked from the first moments after starting the game. The story is full and detailed, characters deep and interesting. It’s the first game I genuinely enjoy clearing all side quests and spendingA true masterpiece. I’ve never been a fan of games like these, I’m more of an Action gamer. I was incredibly surprised and impressed how immersive and rich the universe is in the game. I got hooked from the first moments after starting the game. The story is full and detailed, characters deep and interesting. It’s the first game I genuinely enjoy clearing all side quests and spending stupid amount of my time on it too!
