    Positives:

    - 2nd half of story was good - Graphics look great - Some of the puzzles were fun - Upgrades were good Negatives: - lots of bugs/glitches (getting stuck on a wall, animations getting glitched out etc) - trophies appear to be bugged - cheesy dialogue - running around the open world felt pretty lifeless - short story Better off picking this one up on sale and    Positives:

    - 2nd half of story was good

    Negatives:

    Interesting surroundings, new approaches to gameplay, interesting locations. For a long time I do not remember a game that can be called science fiction. It's as close to science fiction as possible. Excellent game!

    I’m mixed on Atomic Heart. The atmosphere and soundtrack are amazing. The gameplay is fun. The story is interesting. Yet the main character is unlikable and his dialogue atrocious. The controls can be janky. Then when you add the glitches and bugs, it’s hard to recommend.

    I have been pleasantly surprised with this game, I really like the mix of action and stealth. While you do need to craft ammunition, materials aren’t scarce and while there have been a few bad lines, I actually like the strong man/alpha tough-as-nails protagonist. It’s refreshing to see this type of archetype character again. The ability and weapon upgrade system reminds me of FalloutI have been pleasantly surprised with this game, I really like the mix of action and stealth.     I don't see why the audience score is so low, I'm a big fan of this genre of game. Loved Bioshock, Prey, Dishonored, Dead Space & Metro. And i love this, maybe not as much as some of the games i just mentioned but it definitely has all my attention & i'm enjoying the playthrough. Looks amazing aswell.....the aesthetic is as impressive as it looked on early footage.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Не ожидал ничего хорошего от этой игры. В связи с популярностью проекта, решил проверить что-же такое Атомное Сердце. Техническая составляющая игры порадовала, неплохая оптимизация, вместе с отличным дизайном. Единственной проблемой стал нестабильный движок игры, довольно частые вылеты во время игры. Насчёт сюжетной составляющей, можно сказать, что сценаристы неплохо для этого постарались. Неоднозначная история Сергея Нечаева где, то одни, то другие манипулируют им. Харитон Захаров, который представился Хранителем Знаний, хорошо сдружившийся с Майором Нечаевым, оказался главным антогонистом игры. Баба Зина, которая, казалось бы, должна быть самым надёжным человеком, так же манипулирует Нечаевым, чтобы тот убил Сеченова. В то же время Сеченов, со слов всех других персонажей истинное зло, оказался не самым плохим персонажем. Бесспорно есть у Сеченова свои грешки, в виде экспериментов над людьми на станции Нептун, хотя они и были добровольцами. Тем не менее, оказался самым положительным персонажем из тех с кем главный герой взаимодействует по ходу сюжета. Чудесный запутанный сюжет, но многие недосказанности, всё же оказывают влияние. Я знаю, в игре не самый лучший юмор, но несмотря на это есть в нём что-то своё, фраза: "ёбаные пироги" ещё на долго запомнится мне. Жду второй части. 9/10 за вылеты и недосказанности .… Expand

    This game was made for Bioshock fans and I'm a Bioshock fan so I was waiting a game like this since 2013. Great world building, great story, great animations. It's a real AAA game way above manny gamestudios and it's very impressive how a novice developer made this. Obviously this game is not perfect, not even close but you definitely should play this game.

    Creativo, interesante y divertido, el mundo de juego tiene un diseño artistico glorioso y lo mejor de todo es que el gameplay es super satisfactorio combinar las armas de fuego con los poderes estilo Bioshock completa una experiencia que no parece hecha por un equipo "indie".

    Die Musik passt prägnant ins Spiel , da sie den russischen Geist richtig widerspiegelt. In den Kampfszenen wird temperamentvolles Metall gespielt, das den Kämpfen Antrieb und Spaß gibt.

    Fazit : Dieses Spiel ist definitiv Ihre Aufmerksamkeit wert , es sei denn , Sie sind sicherlich mit Russophobie und "Preiselbeeren" getränkt .    … Expand

    Very anticipated game for me and luckily a very pleasant result! Haven't spent much time in-game yet but have very warm feelings from it. I highly recommend if you like Prey, Deus Ex, Cyberpunk 2077, Dishonored, etc. Ones who skip the game because of sjw or political issues are crazy because the game industry is in a heavy crisis and you can't skip this diamond!

    An incredibly good game. An unusual environment of the world that is interesting to explore. Gives a lot of fun. There are some bugs, but it's fixable and will be fixed in a couple of months, so it's not critical.

    As healthy people say. If you compare the game with politics, then you are the worst person on earth, so sorry to everyone.

    The game is worth the money, an interesting, cool shooter, everything is in the style of cyber communism, old cartoons, effects, animations. I like the bosses looks cool. In general, I advise everyone to go through, who loves shooters like Bioshock, Pray, Rising.

    Atomic Heart is a game I was excited to finally play, but went in with low expectations considering how long it was in the oven. The end result is easily one of the best games I have played this year and an experience I recommend everyone dig into. It won’t be for everyone, but for those that it is for it will be an amazing experience.

    Amazing Game. I personally loved every second. I could ramble on about graphics, mechanics, pacing etc, but no need.

    Buy it, you wont regret it.

    People tend to be biased because of political views, but this game is actually quite good, props to the devs for their first release!

    The world feels really interesting, good music, combat feels good, a lot of weapons and customization options, the looting mechanic is really satisfying.     Cult dystopian games come out every 10 years.
    BioShock Infinite came out 10 years ago.
    10 years later, in 2023, the Soviet RoboShock - Atomic Heart is released, which I pre-ordered and have been looking forward to since the very first trailer. All expectations are justified.

    I got Atomic heart in 4 days. It was 4 days during which I had time to neigh and pose, and, in principle, experience a mountain of emotions. Remixes of Soviet classics played during the fight and from the radio in the car had me hum tunes for several days.

    Gameplay is with nice story and sometime hard-core but it only makes this game more interesting. Jokes are original and quite funny. There is not much new content around which can joke without looking around and afraid to be banned by hatters with diviation. I found few small bugs on release however game is absolutely payable.     A very good game. Sure it is here and there inspired by other games, but has its own independence. Good humorous story, graphics, technical implementation, art design, soundtrack and gameplay. I can only recommend it.

    The game is amazing! The graphics are super, the atmosphere is incredible. Great soundtrack and very interesting story. The optimization in this game is the best I've seen in the last 2 to 3 years. As of today, almost all post-release games need improvement. Everything in this game is 5+!Do not listen to anyone, feel free to buy. This is Bioshock, only in the Soviet Union!

    Музыка, атмосфера, все нравится, есть конечно небольшие перегибы но я ставлю 10 ровно из-за того что игру пытаются специально слить ботами!

    Очень красочная игра с хорошим саундтреком и геймплеем, как для первого раза очень круто. Если бы не было такого скучного открытого мира и сюжета ниже среднего, можно было бы и 10 ставить. А так отличная игра направленная на получение ВЕСЕЛЬЯ(а не всякого угождения меньшинствам)Очень красочная игра с хорошим саундтреком и геймплеем, как для первого раза очень круто.     Spectacular setting, amazing shooting, cool bosses, charismatic characters ana intriguing plot!

    That's some fresh air in the world of endless sequels. One of my most favourite games and obvious nomination for Game of the Year!

    After going through other reviews, I wasn't bothered by the same issues they mentioned. I didn't mind the protagonist being rude and aggressive to every one, in fact i dig it ! I prefer feeling the bad ass vibes i get from the protagonist, makes me feel overpowered. The graphics are photorealistic and rendered in 4k 60fps with crisp contrasty visuals and runs like a dream on ps5 ! The graphics are photorealistic and rendered in 4k 60fps with crisp contrasty visuals and runs like a dream on ps5 ! I hadn't had any issues. Pc gamers are happy as well judging by their comments.
    This new studio has set a new bar for other developpers to aspire to when optimizing their games.

    The combat is aggressive and energizing. And the music omg it makes your blood boil like lava ! I swear i only bought this because i found out that mick composed the music and he delivered his one of a kind heart thumping, enraging metallic hellish chords ! They seriously didn't market his music deservingly ! This is a major selling point for this game ! On the other hand i was shocked by the amount of locks you had to pick to progress the story ! I swear i counted over a hundred locks. Whoever thought this was a good idea should be fired ! It keeps ruining the pace of the story and destroys immersion. The puzzles also were mostly annoying. I loved This game it’s a mix of first person shooter action, puzzles RPG elements that worked for me with a 10/10 art design and an interesting story with various endings. But it does have its flaws the open world is very frustrating to traverse as there is no breathing time robots are always chasing you, stealth is near to not existing, yes you can perform a silent takedown but that’s the only stealth aspect , crouching makes you walk to slow and there is no detection sistem. My ending felt a bit blank as the gloves betrayal feels to out of nowhere but that’s the only complaints I have I think that this game being this studios first project is very impressive and I’m very exited to se what focus entertainment has in store for us in the future… Expand

    I’ve been waiting on atomic heart since the first trailer got released in 2018. It was 100% worth the wait. Gameplay is amazing, story is interesting. The dialogue is strange at times but that is the least of my concerns when I enjoy the gameplay and story as much as I do.

Из минусов отметил бы пустой открытый мир и затянутую первую половину игры в плане сюжета, но во второй половине все гораздо интереснее.

    Great gameplay and gunplay, beautiful graphics and atmosphere, an interesting plot makes this game a great experience. There's still a few non-critical bugs at the moment, but I guess it's only a matter of few fixes to make Atomic Heart a strong competitor in 2023 GOTY.

    ...but it's a boat load of fun once it clicks. The skill tree is one of the best I've seen. The amount of ways you can eliminate enemy hoards. In some ways it feels like a FPS soulsgame inspired by Half-Life, Bioshock, and most of all Prey.

    The boss fights are some of the best in the genre! It's just straight fun.

    Graphics (7/10): Meh, solid enough. In some spots absolutely gorgeous, in others PS4 era graphics. But I don't play for graphics.

    Atmosphere (9/10): The oversexualisation of everything is unnecessary. I also would have appreciated a bit more of a serious ton ala Prey... but other than that? The world is incredibly unique. This would make a killer TV show.

    All together this is probably an 8.7 but I can get if some people can't jive with the world as much But even then you should be able to appreciate the design and uniqueness. If you're giving this game less than an 8, I'm just going to assume you're a political hack,    … Expand

    A good entourage. It was very nice to plunge into the world of this game. The narration is excellent, the actors' voices are also not bad.
    The plot is quite interesting, well, and the side audio recordings during the passage were also not boring to listen to. Of the minuses - bugs, but they are not critical. There were 3 pieces for the whole game. 2 of them are    Excellent Soviet dystopia

Those who lived in 80ths-90ths will understand the charm of the details and design on the maps. That reminds Fallout series a lot but from the Soviet perspective. Absolutely 10 from 10 for the atmosphere and storyline + plus details - all the things like sovietI didn't expect much from this game, but I was wrong. Absolutely 10 from 10 for the atmosphere and storyline + plus details - all the things like soviet propaganda, story, and small pieces which will probably will be understandable only to native speakers, in this game look brilliant. The best science fiction in 2023 (IMO) so far. The story is based on the soviet wave where striving for the best life in utopia led to global collapse. People who like science fiction such as Strugatsky Brothers, Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, and Rob Sheckley will appreciate the storyline.
    The gameplay consists of Bishock mechanics, however, you can dodge hard attacks which reminded me of Soulslike games (taking to account that the bosses are pretty hard in there).
    Music and sound are incredible - again it seems to target post soviet native speakers. Music dynamically changes according to the environment, as in Fallout - a lot of Radio playing songs from different soviet and post-Soviet eras.
    As it was shown in the trailers - damage is visible on the mobs when you are attacking them in melee. Weapons and spells felt good :) Almost all the things which were announced by Mundfish are in the game.

    Taking to account my low expectations Atomic heart took mine now. I Hope Mundfish will not stop and will continue to work on this alternative universe like Fallout Series.    … Expand

    This game is just the game of the year!!! I didn't expect that the developers would be able to make such a masterpiece. The atmosphere in the game is off the scale by all 10 points. The gameplay is also very good. And most importantly, no subpoenas, but a real man's game!!!

    Despite being both fussy and clumsy throughout parts of the barely 15 hours the game lasts, Atomic Heart has just enough character and cool sequences to make this a game that might be well worth a closer look.

    Atomic Heart is full of stuff that will absolutely make you love it immediately, but each one of those things comes with a major flaw that ultimately pulls it back from being a great game. It's far from perfect, but will still give you hours of awesome story, world, gameplay and music.
