    This game is perfect. I love it. The atmosphere, the use of the best controller, tons of secrets and collectibles and no loading screens make it perfect experience.

    You won't forget the GPU song for ages. Very nice mechanics and the use of the DualShock is great. Brilliant game.

    It’s a very short platformer that takes only 2 hours to beat, unless you revisit missions for all the collectibles. Every level takes you to a different generation of PlayStation and introduces different peripherals such as controllers, memory cards etc. Every level focuses on different aspects of the DualSense. It’s hard to describe it, but having played Astro’s Playroom, I can easily call this a game changer and good use of DualSense will be a factor (in addition to graphics and frame rates) when deciding the superior versions of video games.

    It is much more than a tech demo and you should definitely not ignore it because it’s a free game. Astro’s Playroom is Sony’s way of telling gamers “Look we have a revolutionary gaming technology. It’s now up to developers to make good use of it”.

If those developers use the features of the controller like this game, they may even make traversal fun. For example, walking in rain on brick paths in Saint Denis in Red Dead Redemption 2.

    A cute, short, and tight platforming experience that impressively shows off the Dual Sense and is a glorious celebration of all things Playstation. Would have kept playing this for 10 more hours if it were longer.

    Really enjoyed what I could only describe as a "tech demo" platformer game, packed with lots of playstation easter eggs, amazing dualsense feedback, and a cute little robot that might as well be the new playstation mascot! I only wished it had a coop game mode, or a full stand alone game, for a free and pre-installed game it is a must play!

Comprar una consola de Sony en la actualidad no es muy recomendado para niños pequeños, a excepción de que este sólo quiera jugar Fortnite y Minecraft. Parece ilógico obserquiarle un PS5 a un niño para que pruebe Demon Souls o Returnal; los juegos maduros y cinemáticos apuntan a otro público, eso creo que todos lo tenemos claro. Pero, Astros es el argumentos para obsequiarle una PS5 a un chico que recién se adentre en el mundo de los videojuegos. De hecho, Zack Boy y Ratched a Clank complementan un combo que nada tiene que envidiarle a una Nintendo Switch con Mario, Zelda, Pokémon y Splatoon. Es la manera perfecta de adentrar, no sólo a niños, sino a un poúblico general en la nueva generación de consolas. Muestra de forma lúdica las bondades del dual senses, pero adolece en un punto clave: mantiene un escaso contenido, que plantea escasos incentivos a su rejugabilidad. Sony saber hacer juegos de plataforma, y Mario tiene competencia en un contexto donde parecía que era el absoluto rey. Esperemos que a futuro Sony se plantee explotar dicho potencial.
    Entonces, ¿Merece Astro’s Playroom una oportunidad? La respuesta es obvio que sí, de hecho lo he elogiado durante toda esta reseña. Su diseño artístico es precioso, sus maecánicas jugables sin intuitivas y sencillas de aprender, pero muy bien implementadas, tiene momentos muy divertidos utilizando las grandes particularidades del nuevo control de Playstation. Sin embargo, Astros no llega más lejos en la lista por presentar un contenido que deja con gusto a poco, como si de una expansión se tratase. Acá no evaluamos el contenido por su precio, de hecho el juego viene instalado de forma gratuita por lo cuál nadie fue estafado, pero se siente como un potencial desaprovechado que podría haber llegado a competir de tú a tú con las sensaciones que nos dejó Mario Oddysey el 2017.    … Expand

    A must play for all PS5 owners, as it comes preinstalled with the console. With 3-4h of duration, this is a joy to play. There are many easter eggs and references that draw a smile on my face, and the gameplay varies all the time as well, using the different features of the controller. Outstanding game to kick off the generation.

    This is simply a playstaion fanboys dream showcase. The best showcase possible with insane dualsense and adaptive triggers implementation. I would rank this 10/10, but it's simply too short and also it does lack depth, but that is expected for a free showcase game.

    I consider this game a perfect one for youngster and old ones. It is just very wholesome and I bet 99% will enjoy their time with this game. Just be aware of that the constant effects on controller side will wear the battery down rather fast. Dont let yourself confused this is no comparison to the standard usage of other games and cannot be compared.

    Enjoy next-gen on the PS5, dont miss out this free game.

    This game was meant to be a tech demo for the PS5 Dualsense controller and it ended up being so much more. Game is genuinely such a fun time from the gameplay to all of the secrets/colelctables, to the beautiful colors, visuals overall presentation to the genuine cuteness of it. This is more than a tech demo. Definitely worth giving a try and an easy platinum.

    Jogo de plataforma surpreendente principalmente por ser gratuito e com o simples proposito de apresentar os diferenciais do controle do ps5, o jogo foi feito perfeitamente, não vi praticamente nenhum bug ou defeito, só diversão, um mundo bem colorido, diferente e bonito que já apresenta o visual muito bom que o play5 consegue fazer.

    O controle do ps5 é incrível nesse jogo, todas sensações que ele proporciona são muito boas, o gatilho é uma absurdo, mds, mt bom, trilha sonora viciante, fiquei ouvindo dps no youtube por um bom tempo, lembra muito a diversão que os jogos antigos de plataforma transiam e eram populares, que hoje em dia das grandes só a Nintendo consegue popularizar aí.

    Muito divertido, inovador no controle do play5 e maneiro com as referência e celebração do play5, para ser perfeito, 10/10 faltava só ter mais mecânicas de jogo de plataforma como um Crash, Mario ou Spyro, em fim, espero que façam uma continuação realmente apostando em um jogo de plataforma com todos esses elementos que faltaram aí.

    E os Easter Eggs são sensacionais, muito bom mesmo!.

    I played this while waiting to install other Playstation games. I usually play on Xbox Series X, and this game blew my mind. The graphics are really good, I struggle to think of Xbox exclusives that look better. It's also just a really fun cute game, and a perfect way to show players what PS5 and the Dual Sense controller can do. Xbox and Nintendo can learn from this. I'm very happy II played this while waiting to install other Playstation games. I usually play on Xbox Series X, and this game blew my mind.     Jesus, what a huge Playstation nostalgia rush! These guys sure know how to build a legacy and a public image! Gameplay is short and sweet, basically Astro's VR stuff in just 2D, but with the amazing new controller.

    Honestly I hadn't had this much fun with a game in a long time. My only complaint is that I wish it was a full blown game and not just 3hrs plus about 1.5hrs of finding collectibles.

    First game to play on my brand spanking new PS5 and it was really awesome.

    Loved the trip down memory lane too. I had much happiness and joy joy feelings from this one.

    No sólo es una excelente demo técnica de las posibilidades del DualSense sino que además es un juego divertido, muy al estilo de juegos de Nintendo, la música es de 10 y la nostalgia sobre la historia de las consolas de PlayStation. Un juego recomendable 100%

    Congrats Asobi ! You've made a masterpiece of a platformer / tech "demo"! Absolutely stunned by this game which for a start I thought it would be a 10 min showcase of the buttons of the DualSense.. Incredible job, just can't say enough praise for this game! And can't stop singing the GPU song!

    I really didn't expect to be that amazing.

    Pretty nice litte demo. It is no doubt the best way to check out the new Dual Sense controller on PS5. The levels and general gameplay is quite diverse. The graphics on the other hand very basic. Generally speaking, good game.

    There's a ton of different cool things to experience in this game and sometimes it can be challenging as well. Everything looks aesthetically pleasing and the player's gonna have an overload of nostalgia and cuteness. I felt so good playing it, i want others to feel the same way.

    Thanks to the revolutionary new dualsense, this game gives great feelings and emotions that cannot be conveyed in words, you need to experience it yourself.
    The game itself is filled with beautifully made references to older Sony creations.
    I hope for similar support for the new gamepad in many other titles.

    The more you play it, the more you forget this a tech demo. This utilizes the DualSense's capabilities perfectly and is a treat to play. After a while, I started playing like a sandbox 3d platformer and looking every corner of these beautiful to find what I was missing. This game truly deserves more credit!

The gameplay is supper fun, the characters and npcs are very cute and entertaining. I remember the feeling of playing ps1 at launch... its the same feeling finally!     An endearing Nintendo-esque platformer that shows the DualSense's potential. It has great music, a fair challenge, and a lot of interesting and nostalgic unlockables. Don't be discouraged by it's briefness and label as a "tech demo". This is well worth playing. - 8.5

    This is the perfect game to have bundled with the PS5. It shows what the PS5 is capable of in turns of it's unique controller. But it's also a huge love letter to playstation fans who've grown up with the line-up of consoles since the very beginning. With lots of collectibles to unlock, and fun puzzles to solve. This is how you make a launch title bundle.

    Fun, addictive and an amazing showcase for the Dualsense controller. There are so many references to the games and consoles of the past in this colorful world. It showed me all the great experiences I had with Playstation in the past. What a way to start this generation!

    Pros: - Atmosphere - Level design - Colorful worlds - Use of Dualsense - Addictive for completionists - Pure    Fun, addictive and an amazing showcase for the Dualsense controller. There are so many references to the games and consoles of the past in this colorful world. It showed me all the great experiences I had with Playstation in the past.     I got all of the trophies. This is amazing. Astro's Playroom is astonishing. It is quite short but it will not disappoint. Each level is hand crafted with the most detail I have ever seen in a video game. All of them are based on each era of PlayStation's history. Memory Meadow is based on the PS1, SSD Speedway is based on the PS2, Cooling Springs is based on the PS3, and GPU jungle isI got all of the trophies. This is amazing. Astro's Playroom is astonishing.     Probably one of the best pack in games with any console. Incredibly charming and fun. Does a great job of showing off what the console and controller can do while still being enjoyable all on it's own merits. Extremely excited to see more from this team.

    Primer juego de PS5, es impresionante la combinacion del juego, las pruebas y el mando, es algo único que no he vivido en otra plataforma, es increible que con la vibracion y el sonido pueda transmitirte tantas sensaciones, de todas ellas sin duda me quedo con el nivel donde llueve y se sienten y se oyen las gotas de lluvia... de verdad que hay que sentirlo por si mismo.     Desde que inicias a jugar empiezan las sorpresas. Sin duda aprovecha al máximo las capacidades del DualSense. Es una aventura corta pero entretenida que lleva por un paseo lleno de nostalgia para aquellos que llevan mucho tiempo siendo fieles seguidores de PlayStation. Me hubiera gustado que fuera más largo. Espero que implementen mecánicas similares en los juegos de ps5 que vayan a salir.

    I really enjoyed Astro’s Playroom, it’s not just a fun kids game (quite similar to Little Big Planet) and a tech demo of the new controller (which is awesome) but it’s a lovely homage to all the previous generations of PlayStation consoles and games. It showed me all the features of the new generation while letting me relive all the previous generations that I knew and loved.

    A beautiful showcase for the new generation of Sony's gaming console. So many hidden details hinting at the history of Playstation, very thoughtful and creative level-design as well as a catchy soundtrack. Absolutely exceeded my expectations considering it's a freebie for every PS5 buyer.

While SMO is, obviously, much longer, I really liked only the desert and city worlds, while every world in Astro's Playroom is absolutely gorgeous and full of creativity and we also get anGraphics, music, gameplay, the playstation references and the spot on platforming make this a very solid and very good platformer for the PS5, which I actually loved much more than Super Mario Odyssey. While SMO is, obviously, much longer, I really liked only the desert and city worlds, while every world in Astro's Playroom is absolutely gorgeous and full of creativity and we also get an overworld to walk around, play and interact with. Sony could have easily sold this for 20 bucks and I hope, that they create another full length Astro game on top of Astro's Playroom.… Expand

    The best cartoon platformer after RC (on par with it when it comes to being transformative experience and smoothness of gameplay wise ) I actually liked the gameplay more than astro bot VR (the world feels more alive and the dynamic interactions between little astros is so SATISFYINGLY cute and fun

    Tech demos should not be as good as Astro's Playroom is. Although it is a short adventure, Astro's Playroom hits the mark when it comes to cozy aesthetics and fun platforming. Additionally, the game expertly shows off what the DuelSense controller can do.

It's an amazing showcase of both the system's graphics and the controller's potential to future games, I would even go as far as to say it's on par with what Wii Sports did back in 2006.     A great showcase of what the PS5 has to offer in terms of specs. It was also a great 3D platformer as well. Add some fun music and a charming artstyle (Sony please make Astro the PS mascot) and you have a tech demo to rival Wii Sports

    With all around fantastic gameplay, graphics, design, and just overall fun, I’d argue that under different circumstances, this could have even been considered a game of the year contender. I never realized just how much the Sony PlayStation had influenced my life until I played this game.
