    Fulfils it's purpose as a showcase of the dual sense controller and some. Beautiful graphics, catchy music and fun gameplay. Enjoyed running around each area, finding the bots acting out different Playstation games while searching for collectibles. Very well rounded experience from start to finish.

    The only shortcoming of this game was the lack of a reference to a PSone classic, the Syphon Filter game.

    It's a shame this game was not released stand alone so it could receive the respect it deserves.. It is a _fantastic_ game - colorful, detailed and full of love. The amount of secrets is incredible! Developers outdid themself here, no question about it. No question about it, this is the most exciting, fun and technically advanced "demo" to ever accompany a machine.

    Es un gran juego que rememora todo la Historia de PlayStation, al estar incluído gratuitamente en la consola es un gran regalo para sus nuevos usuarios, ya que nos muestra las nuevas mecánicas del DualSense y el sonido 3D inmersivo, Team Asobi (JapanStudio) no deja de sorprender con cada juego creado

    A great and very good experience for my first PS5 game. This game is simply a demonstration of how PS5's DualSense works. Other than that, it's a very good platform game mixed with exploration, innovative gameplay and good summer or winter vibes. The best part of it, it's that it is free!!!

Now There Is A Dedicated Mode For Speedrunning With Completely Unique Stages But Even The Normal Stages Have Many Speedrunning Possibilities. I Personally Plan On Doing An Any% Speedrun Soon. Now I Will Talk About The Only Problem I Have With It… There’s Not Enough! Ijust Want More And I Would Pay £70 For It If It Was Bigger.     When I got my PS5 not too long ago, I had always wanted to play this game. After about 3 and a half hours and one Platinum Trophy, I love this game for using Astro as the tech demo.

    Un des meilleurs jeux Ps5 pour tester la manette et le jeu en lui même juste excellent les petit clin d'œil a certain gros jeu comme MGS et d'autres.

    This is one incredible freebie of a game to include with the PS5 system. Just, whatever you do, don't discount Astro's Playroom as a simple "DualSense feature demo", or you will be doing yourself a great disservice! It's a joy to play, from the moment it begins until the very end, and it will likely make you smile during the entire romp. Do yourself a favor, and give it a play!

    Astro’s Playroom is a Nintendo-esque demonstration of the insane levels of immersion and nuance that PS5 brings to the table and is just as much fun to play (if not more!) as anything with Mario in the title in years. If it was a full 10-15 hour game it would be a genuine 10/10 game all day long.

    If you’ve only just managed to lay your hands on Sony’s latest console, congratulations! Now do yourself a favour and be sure you play this generous pack-in title before before it’s too late and you suddenly realise that you’re drowning in a backlog of PS5 exclusives.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I thought Astro's Playroom was meant to be a little tech demo, but it's a solid platformer with tons to do.

    There are 4 worlds, 4 levels in each world, and a pretty hardcore final boss you have to find.
    It's a strong platformer with multiple levels of different game mechanics to keep things different.
    Thers a ton to explore and find, and the platforming is fun.

    I honestly wasn't expecting so much but I've been playing the game since I got my PS4 at lunchtime and it took hours to beat, trying to get all the coins, artifacts and puzzle pieces. I thought I finished everything there was until I explored the homeworld trying to find the source of the roaring, the final boss was was badass, it took me a few tries but I feel very accomplished in beating the game. The credits were very clever, and the one more thing was great. I also found the little vending machine and bought as many of the artifacts and puzzle pieces I could.

    I don't think I've ever felt so pleased with a tech demo/game that came with the console before.

    I ended up going back to it the next day to platinum it. No regrets.    … Expand

    I am a lifelong 30 something gamer who lost interest in platformer style games back in the Mario 64/ banjo kazooie era. But this game has totally sucked me in. It is just so fun to play and explore this world. So many things to see and interact with. So many fun mechanics. It is really a magical feeling to experience. It is also a love letter to PlayStation. You collect all sorts ofI am a lifelong 30 something gamer who lost interest in platformer style games back in the Mario 64/ banjo kazooie era. But this game has totally sucked me in. It is just so fun to play and explore this world. So many things to see and interact with. So many fun mechanics. It is really a magical feeling to experience. It is also a love letter to PlayStation. You collect all sorts of PlayStation “artifacts” and they are added to a collection, like a big trophy room. You also collect puzzle pieces to uncover a gigantic mural of PlayStation history.

    This was the first game I played when I got my PS5 and I am so impressed. I expected this to be a small demo, which it is, but it's also so much more. This game is a celebration of PlayStation throughout the generations and I reminds you of how far they have come.     The game is superb it’s basically like a Nintendo quality game, and best of all it’s free with every ps5 they could have easily have charged for it it’s that good. Best of all it’s a real show case of the features from DualSense controller. It’s hard to describe but as soon as you pick up the controller and you traverse through the different environments you can feel the difference.

    It's a pretty good platformer tech demo game, and an easy platinum to boot.

    It would probably be a 10 if they designed such a thing around a real storyline, but it's not a deal breaker.

    Honestamente no esperaba nada de este juego, ni lo pensaba jugar, pero wow! es muy buen juego, falla totalmente en dificultad y en duración, pero en cuanto a experiencia, diseño de niveles, jugabilidad wow! me encantó me la pase muy bien y me hizo muy feliz, en cuanto al uso del dual sense espectacular.

    With all around fantastic gameplay, graphics, design, and just overall fun, I’d argue that under different circumstances, this could have even been considered a game of the year contender. I never realized just how much the Sony PlayStation had influenced my life until I played this game.

    Astro’s Playroom is way more than just a technological demo. It’s probably the best way to introduce players to the new DualSense controller. And it comes free with PlayStation 5. [Issue#308]
