Apr 27, 2017Great!!!!!! I can't describe how good this game is. Don't be fooled by people who says it's too short. Who give a f__K if it's short when the game is so good.

May 29, 2019I downloaded this game from the PSplus and played it in one shot. it's just perfect in may opinion and I think helps a lot to understand better things that we normally just overlook
-
Jun 10, 2019It's simple and it tells a wonderful story. Just a all around great game that you have to play.

Jan 15, 2021The game is just pure story which is very nice really movie or book like and it makes it really nice. Short nice story good gameplay as for free in ps+ is a very fair option
-
May 6, 2021Avventura grafica che ti trasporta per tutto il tempo, veramente fantastico
-
May 15, 2017This is a one of a kind experience. It's pretty short and pretty strange but there is so much creativity in this game, that I can't help but rating it with a full scare. The gameplay is not challangeing but since every memory feels fresh, it doesn't really matter. And the voice actors are top notch too.

Aug 15, 2018Edith Finch is a great game, though I didn't care much for the first half. The second half of the game, however, was very moving, with characters that are interesting and scenes that are compelling. The game nails its atmosphere, making everything feel delightfully magical, yet sad at the same time.

Apr 19, 2019I love this game so much. This is everything that a "walking simulator" game should aspire to be: Creative, surprising, and heart-wrenching. And also with a level of interactivity that keeps things interesting.

Apr 25, 2017A fresh and rewarding adventure. What Remains of Edith Finch will delight those looking for a story well told. It successfully captures each tale with surprisingly tailor made game mechanics that offer both diversity and emotional resonance. It was a pleasure to play and explore the history of this mysterious family.

May 8, 2017Absolutely amazing, beautiful and moving. I feel very, very sorry for the people not feeling the game properly and giving it a 0 rating, which is just **** ridiculous.

May 18, 2019A weird surreal journey that touches on death and many other aspects. It shows the power of gaming as a creative medium.

May 9, 2019This game surprised me, I though it would be a mediocre indie game, but I was wrong. Some people may think this game is short, I think its just perfect. The story is simple, yet, beautiful, loved the playble flashbacks, really nice narrative, definitely worth checking out
-
May 18, 2019About 3-4 hours of playing doesn't sound great, but this time not game length is important. Amazing visual background, great storyline, voice acting and that music is absolutely legendary mix. Emotions, which make you wanna play whole game through should be best way to reviev this title. Absolute MUST PLAY - Especially when is in May PS ➕ for free!
-
Jul 2, 2017amazing experience, with bunch of emotion and charming during the whole 2-4 hour game play, Giant Sparrow did it again! , as they have in their web page "a video game company focused on creating surreal experiences people have never had before", if the unfinished swan was amazing, this fill my expectations and much more. and also, i recommend to play both games for a reason...
-
May 2, 2017Definitely interesting and lots of creative moments, plus gorgeous graphics. Not sure if the larger narrative works -- it's a mix of Hotel New Hampshire melancholy and touching interactive sequences -- but it held my interest throughout. Give it a shot!
-
Apr 26, 2017An amazing game. If you don't like this type of game, don't try it, but if you love an amazing and unique story, just play it, it delivers. For me it was perfect. Thank you for doing games like this.
-
May 13, 2018What Remains of Edith Finch takes you on an amazing journey through the fantastical and heartbreaking layers of the Finch family. The game is a short one, and I kind of wish there was even more to dive into, because I absolutely loved what the game had to offer. It's one of the most creative games I have ever played, and it's one of the best examples of storytelling in video games.

Apr 25, 2017You can not put such a short game, where you break through on emotions, score below 10. GAME 10 OF 10 ( Нельзя ставить такой короткой игре, где тебя пробивает на эмоции, оценку ниже 10. 10 ИЗ 10)

Sep 30, 2017If you liked Firewatch, Gone home or Everybodys gone to the rapture, you are going to love this game! It is by far the best of the 'so called' walking simulators. It is beautiful, fun, sad and exciting all at the same time, a phenomenal experience.
-
Aug 3, 2017I tihnk this game is the best of its genre. Great ways to tell a story. Absolutely unique. I've just created my metacritic account just to rate this amazing game.
-
May 21, 2019If you've ever played the card game Gloom you might see some similarities and have a bit of a laugh. If you enjoy story driven walking simulators then this is a great one to add to your collection. But also I got it for free from PlayStation plus.

Sep 6, 2018What Remains of Edith Finch is unnerving, beautiful and full of strong themes. This game is an exploration of family and the concept of life and all its cogs.
-
May 15, 2018The story isn't perfect, some of the writing and mini stories could have been better. However, it's still has an engaging story with good writing and unique game-play situations.

May 20, 2018Una historia tan triste como maravillosa, de `principio a fin, repleta de personajes tan singulares como la forma como se cuentas sus vidas. Un viaje en busca del pasado, en forma de recuerdos.
-
May 16, 2019Heartbreaking, terrifying and beautiful. I wish it was a bit longer. Loved all the little mini-games, especially the one where you are chopping the fish but at the same time being a character in your fantasy. Very unique experience overall.

May 19, 2019Amazing storytelling, stunning visuals, short and simple! Does come with a few minor technical issues such as frame rate, but other then that, its a beautiful game, with a lot of meaning
-
May 25, 2019A masterpiece of a game in terms of storytelling and game design.
Each segment this game offers is unique and meticulously crafted and the effort put in by developers is evident from the attention to detail -
Feb 14, 2021Really good game, I teared up a bit in the end. It's kinda short but I'm not unsatisfied.
-
Oct 11, 2021Not interesting gameplay because it's just a walking simulator, but the storytelling was beautiful and amazing.
-
Sep 12, 2022Really Good game with an original way of telling a story. Everyone should give it a try.
-
Mar 17, 2023This could possibly be the best indie game ever made. (Either this or Journey.) This game is deep, impactful, emotional, introspective, nuanced, atmospheric, beautiful, haunting, incredibly well written, has stellar voice acting and an incredible artistic direction. Definitely a game more mature people will like.
-
May 11, 2020Proof that "walking simulators" can be stylish and properly utilize the medium, unlike the hollow, pretentious nonsense of Dear Esther and Gone Home. The cannery stage is my personal highlight of this game as quite possibly the best gameplay representation of spacing out at work.

Jul 15, 2020I've been playing my back catalogue of games since we all have more time and Edith Finch drew me in and I played it in one sitting. I really appreciate the way they told this story and the ending was something I didn't see coming. You can miss so much in this game and that's what makes the exploration and attention to detail is so great!
-
Jun 1, 2019i'm a total sucker for this kind of game. i loved it, every second, except, MAYBE, Barbara's section, that was a little big too big. but the game is awesome. i know i'll play this a hundread times more, like i did Dear Esther

-
Aug 29, 2022WROEF is a masterpiece in its own kind, just sad that it's too short.
It might be the most creative piece of nostalgia that I ever experienced. -

Dec 12, 2019A remarkable and memorable experience. It distinguishes itself from other narrative- focused game by actually allowing the player to explore, and having unique gameplay in each chapter. This creates the feeling, not of a game that wishes it were a film, but of a game reveling in being a game. Highly recommended.
-
Mar 6, 2020I think it is an amazing short game in its own category, a quite touching story! :) 2 hours gameplay max?
-
Jun 12, 2019What Remains of Edith Finch is mostly a narrative experience, though it does have some interaction too. Its main strengths are definitely the atmosphere and storytelling; the idea that imagination may become deadly is brilliant and very well conveyed in the game.
-
Jul 23, 2023Great atmosphere and memorable game.
8/10 gameplay
9/10 graphics
10/10 story
10/10 environments -
Jun 20, 2019Audiovisual experience includes master storyteling, maybe most complex and detailed house in gaming history, full of sweet melancholy stories...

Nov 11, 2020An interactive surreal novel.
Dive into an immersive drama told by whom is left of Finch family.
If you enjoy a good story and some exploration, this is, hands down, a go to. -
Aug 5, 2019Very cool story. It forces to think about a lot of things. It's great that it's short. Today among all that 100+ hours open worlds it's a breath of fresh air. Recommend to all for sure!
-
Jun 2, 2019Good 2-3 hour story. Very atmospheric. That is all I can say about it. I recommend to everyone.
-
Sep 19, 2019Очень интересная инди-игра с хорошим печальным сюжетом. Играть один вечер, но как приятно ж!
-
Aug 30, 2019The game is really beautiful and unique, and each story has its own charm. It's one of the first so-called "walking simulator" games I've played, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I totally recommend giving a try, even though the only con I find is the duration of it (it takes about 2-3 hours to complete a full playthrough).
-
May 18, 2019it interesting game …. or not (I mean its not a "game" its interactive story what u sink by playing it). It kinda short but on my mind it not a weakness it strong part of this story (or story collections of mystery family called Finch).
-
Mar 27, 2021A unique and unmatched experience in any game so far, also a manifestation of how powerful indie games can be. The intriguing, suspenseful story is smoothly woven into its creative and versatile gameplay. Surprises and wow moments are intensely placed during the 2 hour journey. Among the highlights, the fish chopping scene is one of the most memorable moments in gaming.

Jun 7, 2019It has a great story, but I could see why some people would not give the same rating. It could have better replayability. I really liked how they did the credits, great idea. I reccomend it to anyone who is a fan of singleplayer.

Jun 18, 2019Wow! As far as "walking simulators" go, this is one of the very best. Beautiful visuals with an extremely engaging story. Also, can easily be beat in a single sitting.

Nov 7, 2022It is one of those games that Sony gave for free with the PlayStation Plus subscription and that I didn’t care to play until I had nothing else on my plate, and to my surprise it is an excellent game. You can finish it in 3 hours, give or take, but it is worth any penny you pay for it (should you had paid for it).

-
Feb 12, 2021Wow. This is one of the best gaming experiences I have ever had. The story is just amazing, wish I could play it again for the first time.
-
Consigliato

Jun 13, 2022This game is simply a masterpiece. I normally don’t care about stories but this one had me glued. It’s short but sometimes that’s what I want.

Apr 30, 2023This is such a beautiful game, if anything I’ve played should be considered a pice of art then this is it. Edith Finch is essential an exploration game with a deep and moving story about a family’s tragic history which is told though interesting little gameplay segments, each one different to the last. It’s only a few hours long and definitely worth getting if you haven’t played it.

Oct 27, 2020Simple, yet great, for what it is i'm very glad I played it. Was just an amazing short story that is totally worth playing.
-
May 1, 2020If you bought or considering buying this game then you are doing so for the story and that is exactly what you get. A really nicely written, subtle story about life and death and the inevitability of it all. Don't run from death or fear it, just live your life. Absolutely loved it and throughly enjoyed the 3 hours playing it. Getting 100% trophies was easy...where is my platinum lol.
