Awful just awful. Laggy not even a real survival game it's basically a super washed down DayZ. It's a cellphone game ported to consoles and it's just terrible. I had high hopes for this and it was a complete disaster.

It gives you the idea of a survival co-op game and instead it is a battle royale disguised. It totally kills the mood... Already deleted, and for good!!

Vigor has not met my expectations and has not been enjoyable for the most part. There’s so many design issues and gameplay issues it’s not even worth the storage space it takes on your platform. It honestly is one of the worst feeling third person shooters I’ve ever experienced and worst shooters in general. There’s so many design issues and gameplay issues it’s not even worth the storage space it takes on your platform. It honestly is one of the worst feeling third person shooters I’ve ever experienced and worst shooters in general. Vigor is supposed to be a game about tension, suspense, going on a run not knowing if you’ll lose your favorite gun or lose something you’ve found in game but it’s none of those. My main issue is gameplay, it feels extremely dated. The animations are atrocious. It’s honestly not a good game to look at or play. My character holds a gun like they’ve never held one before and in some situations (like when you’re prone) your character holds the gun in such a weird position you’ll have to be on top of something just to shoot at something straight ahead. Is there a 2 inch tall rock in front of you? Now your bullets will hit that instead of your target. The map is also extremely small. In a game about loot, it feels like everything is looted before I even get to the location and what I can loot isn’t even worth it. Sound is extremely bad in this game as well. What will sound like a gun fight 100 feet away from me is nowhere to be found once I reach where the sound is coming from. No bodies, no loot. Nothing. It’s as if nothing happened. What makes all this even worse is you can extract/leave the “encounter” as soon as you want. It doesn’t open after a set time, they’re just open from the start. And some of the extraction zones are for some reason extremely complicated. In one encounter, me and my squad wiped the game of mostly everyone. I was the only survivor so when I went to one of the extraction zones, there was a broken bridge to the extraction zone. As the radiation (which is an unnecessary timer) came in, I couldn’t reach another extraction zone in time. So I tried to jump the gap and wouldn’t you know, it’s too far for your character to jump. So I died, by an unnecessarily complicated extraction zone. It seems that in every instance of design, they failed. Which is disappointing for the company that made Arma. I personally can not recommend this game to anyone. If they wanted to improve the game. I’d say fix the extraction zones, sound, and make the game first person. I got killed recently through a window at the top of a wall that I didn’t know you could get up too, but I can’t shoot at the person through the window, because it wants to shoot the window sill below it. The game feels like it was made for last gen hardware and I don’t think it should ever have released without some MAJOR fixes. The third person aspect doesn’t work for the way this game feels. I don’t think a game with this enforced risk of losing your gear should also allow people to corner peak with the third person camera. This also brings me to another point: insurance. This is such a contradictive feature for a game about risk. Being able to subvert that aspect means all the gain without the loss which is what these style of games are about. I cannot see this game being worth playing despite it being free to play. Escape from Tarkov, while being a more hardcore game, is still much better at creating the gameplay and pressure this game tried and failed to recreate. Expand

Unwieldy garbage, apparently it's supposed to be like that. Gun fighting is less skill and more whoever gets the magic head shot. Has so many bugs to so if the fact it was designed by thumbless toddler isn't enough to turn you away from the game the the bugs should

Vigor has a good premise but no meat on it's bones. The game fails as a shooter in both 3rd and 1st person (and no I don't mean the recoil) but is somewhat fun in a group for a few hours to mess around if the game doesen't crash (but it will).

Vigor is the soy boy of the shooter genre that crashes all the time and has the most tedious grind mechanics I've seen in awhile. This is a wet dream for campers and gamers who are generally bad at shooters.

*This was a response to a developer on their Reddit thread. It'll likely be removed so I'll post it here*

(Also, the "i_novoselskiy" guy who rated the game a 9/10 above and who said, "one of the best games I've played" ...well, he's clearly suffering from some sort of mental illness. I wish him luck) The whole game is an issue... You know the server instability happens across

The whole game is an issue...

You know the server instability happens across platforms.

Heck, I'm always hardwired on the PS4 and have extremely reliable, fast internet (~1000 Mb/s down, ~50 Mb/s up) and still consistently have issues with that network connection message.

It causes most players to lag all over the screen, delayed hit markers, missed shots, disappearing players, etc.

Completely ruins the experience. I don't get booted from the game often, but might as well during all that.

The gunplay is awful. The aim control needs heavy polishing. Recoil on every weapon is absolutely ridiculous (seriously, who's responsible for it? They need to have a sit-down) An LMG with a bipod shouldn't climb straight up when it's being fired in the prone position. Also, an AK shouldn't have a firing rate and recoil similar to a Russian PPSh-41; most of these weapons fire as if they have no buttstock, or as if they're not being firmly held in the pocket of the shoulder.

Has anyone responsible for gunplay ever fired a single weapon in their life???

Camera work is bad. I've noticed the guy doesn't swap back to his weapon immediately after using medicine even though it looks like he would.

You guys have a great concept with this game -- it seems to target that Tarkov playerbase on console, in a way -- but most of what I see with the polish in this game is the SAME type of crap I watched for years on DayZ; starting all the way back in 2013.

It's ridiculous. BI always starts with a solid project then proceeds to continuously shoot themselves in the foot -- resulting in the mass alienation of their core playerbase.

After that, all that's left are ridiculously naive (and stupid, in my opinion) die-hard fans or those with incentive to play (content creators).

Last time I checked, you can't meet a reasonable business model with a handful of patrons. Might wanna get that butt into gear.

I try not to be extremely critical with developers, but you guys HAVE to see the issue here; I know you're not blind or stupid.

PS: You also don't punish team killing in elimination -- something that only requires a miniscule degree of common-sense to fix. Not even a basic in-game report function for anything. It's as if this is a first title. BI is hopeless. Whoever is in charge needs to be cut. Whatever you guys consider to be "leadership" is clearly incorrect.

Wasted potential. Should’ve just had all maps mixed into one, and made lobby’s bigger. It feels like a Fortnite version of escape from Tarkov. Which is fine if you’re into Fortnite. Many little things that can be upgraded. Such as dropping items for friends. Or even fixing the inconsistent reticle when switching from 3rd person to first. You can not have a game mode called encounters when the encounters are colorless with the outcome equaling only one option. Which is kill or be killed. I assume many companies are scared to have voice chat, because they believe it can be a modern warfare 2 situation where everyone is saying every gamer word they know. Which is understandable, but in this instance I think the fear of having proximity chat is hindering the experience. Now that I think about it, I may actually be wrong. Since I did mention this game feels like a Fortnite version of escape from tarkov, then maybe their demographic just isn’t me. Expand
