    Awsome action game , with flowing brutal combat and fascinating story. The visual are a but rough in places, but character models and animation are top tier. Best action game of the gen along with Strangers of Paradise.

    A simple action RPG with a battle system taking cues from games like Devil May Cry and the like. Valkyrie Elysium has some rough spots, but has even more potential. The combat feels weighted but fast, something like one of the early God of War games. The story is standard fare with the genre, you're here to fight monsters, purify enemies and kill a god. The unique part is that unlike manyA simple action RPG with a battle system taking cues from games like Devil May Cry and the like. Valkyrie Elysium has some rough spots, but has even more potential. The combat feels weighted but fast, something like one of the early God of War games. The story is standard fare with the genre, you're here to fight monsters, purify enemies and kill a god. The unique part is that unlike many JRPGs, you get to choose which god to kill, and you get different endings to choose from. The supporting cast seems shallow like the protagonist is at first, but their stories can be discovered through sidequests and unlockable audio dramas. It is a slow burn story with some satisfying twists and revelations. This is a great action game, if you can tolerate some basic performance issues - none of them are game breaking. The more time I put into it, the more I got out of it. The heavy but smooth combat is satisfying and there are some good characters and mechanics buried in this game.… Expand

    If I had to put it simply, Valkyrie Elysium is a great classic action RPG. With great art direction, inspiring music and very fluid and agile action, it’s a spicy cocktail for players that enjoy some fast-paced gameplay.
