    Naughty Dog has never disappointed me. They always surprise me by creating a masterpiece even when I'm a little worried. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is another masterpiece and I'm really happy to have it.

    Dont listen to bad reviews one of the best games you can get at the moment!!! Story is really good all characters feel real, the controls are smooth, the gampley is smooth and the graphics is outstanding!

    Naughty Dog is just one of those devs who reliably and consistently create high quality games. From the get-go Uncharted 4 is an adrenaline packed adventure. If you are familiar with Among Thieves I'd say this one is as good if not better, with added tools to enhance gameplay and a new and interesting take of the life and character of Nathan Drake. This is one gorgeous game!

    Best Uncharted to date, a true must play. Naughty Dog is MASTER...A MASTER of the craft that is video gaming! Very few games around this day and age deserve a perfect score but this game has earned the **** out of it.

    This game is amazing! The first chapters are very cinematic, in which we can see the magnetic story of the game. Then the action starts, and this new concept of open world is just amazing.

    Really, if you own a PS4, you should buy this game. If not, commit suicide.

    One of the best games I have ever played. Uncharted 4 is a most own, it has better graphics than any game on console and PC The story and characters are fantastic. Buy a ps4 for this game and you wont be disappointed. Must own. 10/10

    A masterpiece in story telling - An epic adventure full of everything Uncharted previously offered but with the most incredible story an Uncharted game has seen, I loved this from start to finish.

    The Washington Posts review is a huge outlier that should be removed, it just looks stupid and unnecessary. The lowest review score before that was an 80, then it just drops to a 40, his opinion obviously isn't valid considering every other reviewer disagrees with him.

    The Uncharted series was always about cinematic action, but Uncharted 4 gives that genre a new meaning. In my opinion - this is the best game in the series and what a beautiful conclusion to Nathan's Drake story.
    I played this title three times already and it always surprises me how addicting this game is. The graphics are amazing, mostly thanks to fluent character animation and breathtaking landscapes. The story is solid, well directed and with few plot twists and surprises. Henry Jackman did an amazing job and the soundtrack fits the slightly more realistic approach to Uncharted perfectly. The music is intense during action-packed scenes and calms with the lure of adventure during puzzles and exploration.
    There were some changes to the gameplay as well. Apart from the linear story, there are some parts where the world opens up a bit and you can explore it just a little more. Enough to rest after some intense action, but not long enough to bore you with mindless collectible hunting. Pacing is done extremely well in this game. I collected everything and completed every challenge (apart of speedrun) and was not tired with the game.
    The voice acting is also something I should mention. Nolan North does the extremely well job as Nathan Drake. He adds a lot of charms and comedy to the character. Nathan Drake is now more realistic than he ever was - still thrilled with the adventure, but a little tired of it. Nolan is now accompanied by Troy Baker, who fits perfectly as Nathan's older brother.

    I thought this just have great graphics. But story is amazing. This is like a movie. Many thrilling scenes. Movies can't be like this good. I don't like movies at all. I like video games. They have very cool story.

    I don't like shooting games. It gets boring. I played shooting games because I just like the story and places. I want to adventure the fiction.

    This is an amazing game, fantastic! powerful and innovative, I just love it! The graphics are amazing, the story is clever, the game play leaves you wanting more, Absolutely brilliant! I just bought it today and I am taking time to enjoy every little episode in it. Thanks Naughty Dog for this amazing work.

ND nailed the final chapter to a "T" It's so good because you get the back story and the fleshing out of the characters, and it's a blast to play. Before you ask, no I'm not a PS4 fanboy, I'm actually an Xbox gamer and that's my main gaming platform, I just couldn't pass this up and the many exclusives on the PS4. ND and their team has set the standard when it comes to story driven based games that make you actually have an investment in the characters. I can't get enough of this franchise and I'm eagerly awaiting the "first ever" story DLC. Here's to hoping ND will continue to produce awe inspiring games in the future with breathtaking graphics, sound and gameplay.     As an Uncharted fan who had extreme high expectations for this game, I can easily say that fans will not be disappointed as Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is a masterpiece. I just love how Naughty Dog is able to take something amazing and make it even better. The story, the acting, the graphics, the gameplay, everything has been improved from previous games in the franchise. Game play is seamless, and controls smoother than anything yet. The new mechanics are polished, and feel like they've been there since the first installment. And the graphics are just.. honestly unreal, so much so i shed a tear myself in a specific area. These are the best graphics on console of all time. Nothing can compare. If you have a PS4, you will have the time of your life with UC4.

    I can say, this is the best game I played in the last 5 years, but maybe in the last ten. This is a quality work, with a good story, nice gameplay and user friendly control. Rly enjoyed it, Yo Ho, Yo Ho! :D

Xbox one fans want halo and Ps4 fans want Uncharted. Now i've actually played the game and I got to say that it is definitely the best game i've played in 5 years. These characters are just so enjoyable, and you'll be happy to be swept away to high adventure.

    This is easily the best narrative-driven action game I've played in forever. It's hilarious, touching and exciting. It's got a tighter build, with a lot of the overlong gunfights of yore trimmed down into a very streamlined experience with just the right amount of every game-play element to make it constantly fun and fresh. Everything about the action, and every single scene, just feel right. From a gameplay perspective - my only gripe is the grappling hook, as that is usually the result of a poor platformer regaining balance. There's also the problem with grappling hooks in videogames in general in that, you guys, grappling hooks don't work that way and it's easily the most unbelievable thing in all of Uncharted, jumps, explosions, curses and all. Fortunately it's not as overused as you'd expect and makes for some cool bits - I wouldn't wish it away, merely that it wasn't so cartoonish.

    And like I said - this thing is GORGEOUS. Not just the fidelity of the particles; it looks like a water painting at times, and at others it's photo realistic. Scenes are stuffed to the gills with detail, some of which interactable. It's a MAGNIFICENT world that feels lush and lived in and rich and, most of all, real (but with highlighted ledges everywhere :P )

    Bottom line is - play this game's campaign. It is almost a perfect action-platforming shooter experience wrapped in gorgeous graphics and loveable characters and dialogue, and that is no hyperbole - it is a pinnacle of a long career of missteps (Uncharted 3) and almosts (Uncharted 1); Naughty Dog worked long and hard to get here, and they deserve the accolades.

    As for multiplayer... well, honestly, who cares for arena multiplayer anymore? It's fun, but that's not why you buy an Uncharted.    … Expand

    without a shadow of doubt the naugth dog knows how to make games with proximity to a movie, and uncharted 4 is without doubt one work of art game, the game is beautiful and full of memorable moments, no doubt will win the goty 2016, a farewell with a golden key.

    The game is magnificent almost a masterpiece if not for some minor flaws (the AI and the minor fps drop) but the good in this beautifully done piece of art far exceeds the bad every thing about this game is incredible, the story is great and exciting, the different environmental settings are JAW-DROPPING in the detail and beauty also the incredibly beautiful    What a ride it has been!!

    Great game, doesn't deserve the low rating from users. The parkour elements are superb as always, dialogue is excellent and hilarious at times and I'm really liking the story so far. The multiplayer is fun and plays a bit like The Last Of Us factions, only a lot more fast paced and less stealthy. I only wish you could create your own character in MP.

    I don't know what kind of witchcraft the guys at Naughty dog are doing to generate this visuals on a ps4 but this the BEST looking game ever, period. The story telling and gameplay are top notch as well. Uncharted 4 is gem that every gamer should at least play once.

    Great game and even better it was free. Only downloaded as it was free on PSN and I was hugely surprised and happy to discover a great game. Not played any Uncharted before. Amazing cinematic story and survival mode is good fun with friends.

    This is simply one of the two best games of this generation, this along with the witcher 3 are the real reason to join this generation of consoles, graphically amazing, great story, and an excellent gameplay makes this a 10 out of 10 game.

It's still pretty basics, but It's better ( like you can cover in high grass, they have gauge detection and you can lose them if they detect you.). And this is one of the best, if not the best looking game ever! The facial expression of the characters make them truly alive, along with the excellent work of the voice actors! The multiplayer is still not as complete as the others one, and is more cooperative, but It's still fun. Don't expect groundbreaking stuff though in multiplayer. This game is the embodiment of the term "next-gen" and it is, without a doubt, the best looking game on this console generation. The gameplay is everything that you would expect from an Uncharted game, plus more! Now, a lot of people are complaining about how the game is just like any of it's predecessor's gameplay wise, and honestly, it is, but that's not a bad thing. This game is Uncharted, it's not some new IP, and so of course it's going to be like the older games, but there's so much more new stuff added to keep it refreshing. Things such as the hook mechanic, the sliding mechanic, the new stealth system, and more. The AI is also better than ever. In older Uncharted games, when you got spotted, the AI wouldn't stop unless you were dead or they were dead. Once they saw you, they basically fixated on you, even if you were out of their sight. In this game, the AI is much different than that. There's three different "modes" of the AI: passive, neutral, and aggressive. Passive shows up above an enemy when you're out in the open and there's a great chance of them spotting you. Neutral is when they think they've spotted you, but you've obstructed their visual with you and then they go and investigate. And aggressive is when they start shooting at you after spotting you. This adds a much more realistic taste to the game that is done very well. The shooting is as fun as ever as well. They've also added another new mechanic...vehicles. Now, in the game, you can drive cars and boats, which, while it may not seem groundbreaking, is just a nice touch. The game also borrowed a bunch of things from The Last of Us, a game also developed by Naughty Dog in 2013. Things such as the side conversations, and the new hidden things such as documents that you can discover, look at and read. Again, while it may not seem groundbreaking, it's a nice touch. Another cool thing is that, when Nate, Sam, and Sully are having a conversation, if you do anything to stop the conversation (i.e. driving through a waterfall or a shootout) they'll say something like, "wait, what were we talking about" and they'll just pick up the conversation from there. It's that realistic, and the detail is perfect. And the story, oh, the story. It's marvelous! The end of Uncharted 3 kind of left you for a yearning to find out what happened after the seemingly abrupt ending. Well, I don't want to spoil anything, but let's just say, it's great to find out what happened, and the story is anything that you would expect from Uncharted, but even better. It's so much more fleshed out. Anyways, whether you're a big fan of the series, whether this is your first game, or whether you don't even have a PS4, you NEED to pick up this game. The $60 price tag is way worth it in the long run (though, I would recommend playing the first 3 games just so you know most of the characters and what's going on). It's that good. I'm about halfway through the game and I'm loving it. I haven't played much multiplayer (though I did participate in the open-beta) and let's just say that it's not tacked on and is very much fun... : )… Expand

    I recommend to all fans of the Uncharted franchise! In this game the ND managed to improve the combat system, the intelligence of the enemies, the graphics and also managed to close the franchise with a golden key. For those who doubt, I recommend without doubt. After the campaign mode closing, I recommend spending a few hours in multiplay mode - it's fun!

    Beautiful game! A must for all ps4 owners.... The story, graphics and animations are amazing, the controls are still a bit clunky though. Still deserves a 10! The multiplayer is good but not perfect. They need to fix the levelling system!

    - Story and its progression were sublime, doesn't have that huge "explosive" moment like in Uncharted 2. Like the game just doesn't go into full climactic mode, it just naturally gets very intense in multiple, smaller moments which I enjoyed much more. Great goodbye to Drake's adventures.

    - Now the game play is very fluid and variable between stealth and going guns blazing. Shooting still feels odd (the crosshairs are a bit wider than previous games, and the bullet can sway in its little range, throwing me off a lot). There are still the same old finicky cover moments, but usually that is from you panicking and not planning what to do. Platforming is the best its ever been in the series (the rope is tons of fun). The game is also fairly easy compared to past games.

    It's going to be sad saying good bye to Drake and the Gang, but this was the most fitting send off the game could have got, the story wasn't polluted to make for an over the top climax. The visuals and ability for the game to run this well on a PS4 is mind blowing.

    Must play game, but play the other 3 first, or else you will not appreciate the characters at all.    … Expand

    I'm a big fan of the series and was not disappointed by this awesome entry. It has some of the best set pieces I've ever seen in any medium and it had me laughing out loud on many occasions.     This game is graphically stunning, humorous dialogue and most importantly plays brilliantly. Great locations to explore and a huge selection of effective and interesting weapons. This is one of the best games this generation and every PS4 owner should add it to their collection. A great game that I would recommend to anyone.

And felt it sud be defined as a "Painting in Motion"...I'm not doing any review fr this masterpiece, rather sharing my POV about it..First of all I felt the long wait for Uncharted 4 was of worth as Naughty Dog didnot rush and made any compromise at all with the last installment in d UC series...Superb visuals with occasional framerate drop issues (I didn't download the day 1's 5GB patch as I lacked patience), an eye fr minute details, seamless integration from cutscene to gameplay, picturesque locations n places with interactive features with the player were the real pleasure for eyes... also the art of storytelling thru a vdo game got redefined. Compared to the previous UC installments, it has got way better enemy AI, and in many a cases bunch of enemies outnumbering the player, though aerial knockouts were bit of a challenge to me (it was really disappointing at times) in the game as it was showcased in the gameplay reveals, drivable cars with its natural interaction with muddy and rock solid surfaces, hardcore action sequences (both hand to hand and shooting), great amount of stealth, multiple paths to reach or execute the opponents, trickier puzzles (some were really nightmares), also the map wider than the semi open world maps...characters (known and newly introduced) are nicely knitted, revealing their hidden secrets, humane sides and twisted edges along with the pace of the story...3 yrs ago wen TLOU came from the same dev house, we were mesmerized n became speechless... Now I can vouch that UC4 in addition to that will hypnotize u all as well...Won't say much now...enjoy this masterpiece asap, which pushed the PS4 boundaries to the optimum level and delivered the wildest and wonderful dreams in a small round shaped blue ray disc..And for Naughty Gods...Thnks for making UC4 nd introducing it to mankind...plss take max time for TLOU 2 and make us awestruck with ur creations in future again n again..… Expand

When others delevopers say "we can't do more because new consoles are weak then naughty dog created the most advanced game on playstation 4.     Its hard to find fault in Uncharted 4, the graphics are the best thing a console has ever seen, you will stand in awe just looking at the view at times, especially in the final third which is a large chunk of the game which peaks and peaks up to an ending worthy of the 14 hours i put into it.

    Uncharted 4 is the pinnacle of console gaming regardless of platform and will be the game you look back on in 10 years and get a warm and fuzzy feeling inside.    … Expand

Well, I can proudly say that Uncharted 4 completely delivers and I've only played Uncharted 2 and a little bit of 3. It is clear that Naughty Dog has taken all of the lessons they learned from the first 3 Uncharted's and The Last Of Us and once again created a masterpiece for the PS4. Nathan Drake's final adventure is perhaps the most engaging and thought-provoking yet, thanks to excellent writing and performances. However, the real strength of Uncharted 4 is the way it is able to combine story and gameplay with such grace. The game can be a little too difficult at times and the climbing controls could be improved, but those concern easily faded away when I was given the choice to engage a situation with stealth or brute force in the game's much larger sandboxes, or when the banter between Nathan, Elena, Sully, or Nathan's brother, Sam put a smile on my face or brought me to edge of tears.     I'd say that this game is somewhat more technically advanced than TLOU when it comes to story direction and gameplay creativity and such, which is simply amazing. I can pardon it being repetitive at times with all the combat and climbing. Also, the environments are simply amazing. I actually feel that tis game is a 9/10, but I see a lot of hate from people not really understanding what Naughty Dog games are about, which is, quite frankly, unfair.     I couldn't give this masterpiece nothing but a 10. It is the most perfect game that you can ever play on its genre. Actually, it is the best game I have played in years(along with Witcher 3). This game makes you cry, laugh, mad, relaxed, all the feelings that you can experience in reality.     Absolutely incredible game. I can't say enough good things about it. It surpasses every other Uncharted game and that is really hard to do. Definitely going to be the best game of the year even though the year isn't even half over.

    This game was a damn experience thats all I have to say. Fun, Technical, Visually appealing, Attention to detail, Acting, Re playability. I had very few if not no problems with the game nothing that can hinder the experience.

    I originally gonna give this 9/10 but too many zeros here from trolls so its a 10 to offsets those nonsense 0s.

Even as a carping person who didn’t buy some moments in TLOU almost everyone’s adored, especially in Left Behind, here in Uncharted 4 I simply have no words how perfectly ND reworked Nate, Elena and their relationship. In their tender moments my heart just was smiling all the time and I felt myself immersing my soul in their love.
    Nate in Uncharted 4 finally looks alive, it’s not that old badass treasure hunter we all knew – now he has what to lose and it’s easy and painful to see how he must choose between saving his brother and the ones he loves.

    Naughty Dog showed us not only a great adventure. They showed a beautiful story about the greatest love you can believe, trust and admire and it’s really special, influential and important.    … Expand

    You have to give credit to Naughty Dog. They stand as the best gaming developers for this generation and probably many generations to come. Uncharted 4 is the best game in the 8th generation and I don't think there will be any other game that can match the shear brilliance that this game brings. Thrilling shootouts, a staggering level of detail, breathtaking visuals and emotional depth come together to make Uncharted 4: A Thief's End a must-play masterpiece.

    Stating that the forthcoming game will be the last rendezvous with a popular, charismatic hero is a rare phenomenon. I congratulate Naughty Dog on their courage and in spite of myself keep my fingers crossed for them to stick to their decision. The farewell party they threw for Nate is simply spectacular. This is how I want to remember him, not as an old man who rubbed his joints with pain cream and then found a UFO. Uncharted 4 is a brilliant game and a breathtaking demonstration of what PS4 is capable of. [07/2016, p.56]
