    I am writing this review as a warning to others in my situation. I bought the retail version of this game for my kids and I to enjoy splitscreen. The only person who can use all the characters is the one using my profile, the rest can only use half the characters, and in my mind, half the game. The licensed characters can only be used by one person at a time. We have enjoyed the gameI am writing this review as a warning to others in my situation. The licensed characters can only be used by one person at a time. We have enjoyed the game and find it a family friendly bit of third person shooter and light strategy. I enjoy games with my family members, in the same room, and will do so until gaming becomes a strictly online affair. I went to Ubisoft's website and read that the last four armies on the disk are tied to one profile and cannot be shared. WHO DO THEY THINK THE TARGET AUDIENCE IS FOR THIS? So if you are purchasing for the same purpose as I was, be warned hat neither sub accounts, or logging in as guest will make the characters playable.… Expand

    Bugs, bugs, bugs -1

    Annoying turrets sounds -1

    It is a fun game but.....

    This game would probably be an 7 or 8, but....
    For LOCAL coop, the first player has to have a Uplay account and a PS+ account! It's not online. The other big problem is that the DLC character can only be played by the account which owns them, not the second player. This is simply unaccaptable.

    A good game spoiled by bad business practices. This is a fun game, it brings back the fun from cold war, but if you buy the "hall of fame edition" (aka complete game) don't expect to play it entirely with your family or friends in the same room, because only the account that redeemed the dlc code or bought it from psn will be able to access all the armies, even if you play offline, in splitscreen.

    This game has great concept but lackluster delivery in every way. In typical Ubisoft fashion the game is full of bugs and non-working parts. Characters feel cheap and slapped together, and views are often problematic especially when zooming in to targets at a distance. All hero/toy options are the same just with different skins and animations and overall the game just feels like one bigThis game has great concept but lackluster delivery in every way.     The game's unplayable. After you do the tutorial, the menu freezes permanently. There is no fix. Even if you reinstall the game, it will not work. This bug has existed since 2015 and will effect everyone who attempts to play this at some point.

    Toy Soldiers: War Chest feels like a game that was rushed through without care or polish. Nostalgia can’t save this game from being an absolute disappointment.

    Toy Soldiers: War Chest is a great idea marred by unforgivable, technical flaws. Even with all of the problems that the game has, I still get enjoyment out of playing it, but it should be so much better.
