Only reason I give this game a 2 out of 10 is because the game is beautiful the from sunset and water absolutely beautiful! Other than that the core game and gear score and micro transactions... awful and just outright embarrassing for EA oh I mean Ubisoft!

I was so pumped for this game, played the beta both closed and open, and then the game released and all the terrible pay 2 win mechanics came out, you can literally buy guns with real money, attachments, cars, xp boosts you name it you can buy it with real man. Not gonna support a game like this. Disappointed Ubisoft

First things first, DO NOT buy this game.

Lemme explain. I spent about 350 hours on Wildlands. Story was ok, skirmishes were intense, great content overall. I spent 15 hours on Breakpoint, and I just uninstalled it. I spent 60 bucks for a game who isn't worthy of being called a beta-version. Cons: - Rigged with bugs. Over the 3 first hours playing, I spent about 10 minutes

Lemme explain. I spent about 350 hours on Wildlands. Story was ok, skirmishes were intense, great content overall.

I spent 15 hours on Breakpoint, and I just uninstalled it.

I spent 60 bucks for a game who isn't worthy of being called a beta-version.

    Cons:
    - Rigged with bugs. Over the 3 first hours playing, I spent about 10 minutes floating around, walking on air. Half of the time spent inside an helicopter, my character was floating ou of the vehicle.

    - Whenever I started to get pulled in the story, it was shut down by the EXCRUCIATING AMOUNT OF TIME NEEDED TO LEVEL UP. Oh wait what's that ? You can actually speed up the process with micro transactions ? Fondle these balls, Ubisoft.

    - The AI (and combat in general). In Wildlands, I liked to play with the heavy sniper, as you could just kill a few goons from far away, the rest of them would hide and sound the alarm. Now you've got like, interns goons, who will happily stand in place while you kill them from afar. I cleared most of the bases by dropping a few mines at the entrance and then just shooting at the ground in front of the entrance. Ai will pack up, run toward the noise, get killed by the mines, done.

    - The character design. Sony called, they want their PS2 graphics back. Most of characters look like they're made of plastic, and then got some massive face surgery. I haven't seen such blocky faces since Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Overall, this is a complete failure. Story was written by a Michael Bay wannabe high on acid, and character design was made using MS Paint. Every element that made Wildlands fun has been taken away, even the hunt for good weapons has been reduced to "Oh, you want a good sniper ? Then spend ~5 hours grinding for it. Oh, you want the BEST sniper ? That'll be 15 bucks mate".

    Pros:
    - Gotta be honest, sound design is good. Great music, gun sounds are ok, this was nice.

    - The micro-transactions never fail. Really. Feels like Ubisoft assigned all decent developers on payment methods.

TL;DR : Wait about a year, until they completely patch it up, and then wait for a deep sale. I wouldn't spend more than 12 bucks for this.

It's just not that fun. The UI is a mess, too many systems going on, the loot doesn't make much sense, survival element is half baked, no squad, you're supposed to be a ghost but the stealth is a joke. Of course everyone is aware of the mtx's.

Utter **** don't buy this game until it's completely fixed. The game is full of bugs; AI sometimes behaves like a mule, but sometimes acts like a omniscient god; the progression system is not that interesting (you loot 20 different places but get the same items with better stats). Just don't buy it, its not worth it.

Trust me, Microtransactions aside this game has the most stupid AI in this generation, not only that but the animations feels like a game from 2002.

Wildlands was mediocre at best. And you would think Ubisoft would improve upon it. But this is 10 steps back.

The entire progression of this game is based off microtransactions, or "time savers" if you will.

AI is dumb and bugged as hell - you dont need any skill at all even on Extreme difficulty. You dont even need any weapons except for single sidearms until you hit a grind wall in a form of extremely bullet-spongy drones that you must destroy from time to time to progress in story.

Monetization should be mentioned separately - it is one of the worst pay-2-win even by the standard of free-2-play mobile game: you can literally by everything from start with enough real money including weapons, mods, vehicles, currency etc. This is a ridiculous example of play-2-not-play. No wonder devs did not care about filling open world with any meaningful activities - you are not meant to traverse whole world but instead meant to pay more money to skip intentionally boring lazily copy-pasted grind locations.

Summary - you will lose nothing if you just skip this one, unless you are some kind of casual whale who dont mind spending a low of cash on a buggy mess just to complete it asap and move on to something more interesting and polished. This game may be worth checking again in 6-12 months when most bugs will be finally fixed and price will drop to 15-20 USD, but is no not really worth a cent more than that

It's basically a microtransaction store first and a game second. And the game that is there is very buggy and broken. It reminds me of Assassins Creed Unity and Fallout 76 in terms of how broken it is. The A.I is probably some of the worst i've ever seen. Enemies just stand there and wait for you to shoot them. And when you shoot they will be alerted and acknowledge someone is shooting, yet just stand there like a prize lemon waiting to be shot. Or they will literally stand right in front of you and not see you. They float about in mid air, get stuck on objects, it really is bad. Vehicle handling is very poor, especially bikes, bikes are outright broken. An you're supposed to be like a hardcore special forces ghost yet when your stamina bar runs out you cannot even traverse small walls that are only a few feet in height, lol. They story is terrible and full of stupid things that simply wouldn't happen, and that breaks the immersion. You're suppsoed to be this lone special forces ghost stranded behind enemy lines and need to find back up. Yet right at the start of the game you end up in a camp with like 100 or so other special forces ghost soldiers just standing around dancing or doing silly emotes. It's like, well here's 100 other special forces ghosts in this camp, why can't they just help me? lol It serves no purpose other than to set up a hub for the many microtransactions within the game, and there are A LOT of microtransactions. The silly things that these so called hardcore best of the best special forces do within the cutscenes just simply wouldn't happen and is so so stupid to the point you will either find it laughable, annoying or both. It's very immersion breaking. The story is also very bland the plot is full of holes and the voice acting and dialouge is cringe. Its worse than a bad B Movie is what it is. Graphics are very average from a modern game. I remember the ghost recon games i played on the xbox 360 back in the day blew me away with how pretty they looked. But the same cannot be said about this game. Especially not after coming off playing red dead 2 and days gone. They make this game look pretty average. All in all this is one of the worst birthday presents i have ever been given. And up there as one of the worst games i've ever played. Although you can't really call it a game as such as its more a microtranaction store front than a game and the game is an afterthought. I haven't used the microtransactions as i despise them. They have no place in a full price game. But i guarantee you that the microtransaction store front works perfectly with zero bugs. Yet the game part is very broken and full of bugs. Expand

I love Wildlands but Breakpoint tries something new and unfortunately it is just bad... Of course I get it. It should be hunter being hunted but c'mon...

First mission you find biggest cave on the island with the group of people who decide to trust you... Quest are just boring and lack of AI is just dumb... They hyped you for ultimate survival but the only survival thing is... well nothing at all I was playing for few hours and nothing really happened to me I don't need to drink water, eat, sleep. Yes when they start shooting they can cripple you but just stick the syringe into yourself and you are suddenly in perfect shape and condition. JUST NO! If you wan't to make survival let's pretend that health bar does not exist... If they shoot you, you need to hide and threat the wound.

Story is just a joke compared to Wildlands. I love the style how you could progress and yes it wasn't the best but it is much more better to find intel and then do the quest than just go to your main hub and talk to people who suddenly need you help and a favour.

I love Wildlands AI and skill trees to support them but this one without them is just boring. I know there is an option to play with real people but let's be honest it's hard to find someone random to play as you like to play. I really enjoy silent tactical gameplay and most of the people are just rushing through the enemy lines...
I hope they will ad AI as soon as possible.

Also gear system is pointless... why do I need to collect gear? Did I have to do it in Wildlands? NO and I was fine with it. There is another game from UBISOFT where you collect the gear and let's be honest Divison is not the best either.

PVP I played 3 games and all three ended up the same if somebody got shot it was game over for them and instead of waiting for the other teammates to finish the round they just quit the game and next round you played 3v4 or even 2v4... Length of the round is also a little bit too long but it should be tactical right. 10 minutes is not too long for stealth gameplay but people as I mention before love to just rush and shoot anything that moves...

Microtrasactions are everywhere... WHY? Can anyone make a AAA game without putting this **** on? I do not mind support the game even more when the game is good. But really this one is not worth it and I am kind of glad I played it through UPLAY+ so I can just cancel the subscription and forget this game even exist until they fix it.

OK let's wrap it up. If you love Wildlands and you expect upgrade I do not think you will find it here. They added a lot of new things but they cut few what made previous game much more better. If you have 3 friends who can assimilate to your way to play go for it. If you hoping for miracle and looking for players with online matchmaking I think this game is not worth it.

Weapons feel good, but since the game acts like its a looter shooter that doesn't matter. You will switch weapons out constantly. The devs also haven't figured out how to make cars and helicopters that feel realistic and control well, which amazes me, considering GTA 5 figured that out in 2013.
But at least its "fun with friends", but to be fair, everything can be fun with friends. A old and broken football can be fun with friends. Doesn't make the game good.

Oh, also, you cant play the game without an internet connection. AT ALL. Even tho you can play the game SP, great right?

TL;DR Actual rating 4 at most, perhaps a 6 if you play co-op with friends exclusively which is where the most fun is to bad had but the excessive micro-transactions ruin it and damage Ubi-Softs reputation at the same time, you're better than this Ubi-Soft!

More broken than people realize, the amount of bugs...some of them serious is astounding and it was clear this game was not ready for launch. Some of the bugs and issues which was discovered closed beta was never addressed, Drone/Night Vision and enemy tagging often bugs and becomes unusable, daily escort/rescue missions often have no end-point so you cannot finish them and the server often crashes causing lost progress.

Weak story, Ghost War doesn't make any sense with the narrative story and typical par Ubi-Soft for collectables, hidden areas and outpost grinding etc~ basically quite similar to wildlands just more annoying to travel around. Many areas feel empty and lifeless which unfortunately doesn't help, wildlands open world had a living, breathing feeling with NPCs and vehicles driving where as Breakpoint feels lifeless.

One of the very biggest issues is the sheer amount of recycled content, you have a giant island with 1000s of locations to discover...yet its just really about 10 or 20 or so locations just re-used over and over again, same with the enemies...there is about 7 or 8 different enemies and that is pretty much it for the entire game, not including unique story related bosses of course so basically after a few hours of playing, you literally have seen most of the game has to offer...same content, just in a different location.

Drone combat is also a joke, murmurs are perhaps the most annoying enemy in the history of gaming. They are fairly harmless to your character but utterly destroy vehicles like helicopters, and you pretty much need a 3rd party aimbot to destroy them because once agitated they move extremely fast in an unpredictable pattern for 10 or so seconds before stopping briefly, which is your window to shoot at them again before flying around again at mach 10.

Gunplay is fine, almost a cut and paste of wildlands in that respect however, the AI seems to have been downgraded with pathing issues making enemies act in strange ways occasionally. Sound and gameplay are actually just average to be honest, they are not ground breaking but not bad either, most people could get some enjoyment from playing.

Driving mechanics is actually WORST than wildlands, the helio controls are a joke - trying to aim is a chore as the control is super twitchy and takes alot of practice to compensate, generally driving is just comical sometimes.

Now, addressing the elephant in the room. The atrocious MTX, seriously - this cannot be allowed to become the norm and a line in the sand needs to be drawn by the players and by regulating governments, not industry watchdogs who are directly in the pockets of the industry and literally do not support or protect the consumers at all, looking at you ESRB. Anyone supporting predatory microtransaction and loot boxes are the ones slowly destroying the gaming industry here, and need to be called out on it.

MTX has no place in any AAA titles, the entire arguments about cosmetic only is even a one sided argument and even that shouldn't have any place in a full price title, let alone full on pay to win mechanics.

Back in the mid 2000s when Free to Play MMos dominated, loot boxes, gambling and MTX was rife and the greed is what eventually led to the downfall of freemium MMos, look at that industry now - its DEAD, on life-support at best, the mobile gaming industry adopted many of those sinister business practices from freemium MMos and the birth of the cancerous IAP market was born, just look at the mobile gaming industry right now - its pure cancer and that has been slowly spreading to AAA industry over the past few years..

We saw EA and Bethesda both try some fairly underhanded monetization tactics, as well as Rockstar heavily monetizating GTA online and as some of the blowback with controversial titles like Battlefront 2 are still fresh, Ubi-Soft which have been generally walking the tight-rope with monetization decides to one-up everyone by pretty much monetizating the entire game, heck the only thing I'm surprised at is they haven't monetized bullets/ammo yet....oh wait, they did in Far Cry 5 - this is a warning to Ubi-Soft, this is going to hurt your reputation significantly from here on out, any future products will be heavily scrutinized for similar business practices and I highly suggest you decide to ease way back on MTX for future releases.

Also, Ubi-Softs TOS is pretty bad too, essentially you cannot get any refunds for ANY digital purchases on the uplay store > NO MATTER WHAT < whether you purchased a game and your having issues, or you pre-ordered a game and decide to cancel that pre-order.

Effectively, if you write a story based on lies and feed it to the masses, that is effectively "propaganda". We are at war and there will be no way back from it. Previous review below. _____

If this game was made by anyone but Ubisoft, most peoples view on the game would be completely different. As it stands, it does borrow so much stuff from other ubisoft titles that it does lose its way in terms of being true to its heritage.

However, that being said the game is great, amidst a large amount of bugs. The Good:- -Gunplay feels satisfying on Expert. Each shot counts.

However, that being said the game is great, amidst a large amount of bugs.

    The Good:-
-Gunplay feels satisfying on Expert. Each shot counts. Genuinely scared to tackle some drones, or pick a large fight.
-Large varied open world, always feel like something new to see and the bases are so fun to clear out or infiltrate.
-So much room for Milsim / RP narrative.
    -Really fun for coop teams.
-Story seems intriguing, whilst not anything groundbreaking its still refreshing to have compared to the last outing.
-Exploration mode.. this is probably my fave implementation.. having to recon and actually use the map to find objectives.

    The Bad:-
-Bugs. Lots of Bugs. (Hopefully will get patched soon)
-The social hub.. hate this.. I just got marooned on a hostile island, i shouldnt have to see this place covered in 50+ ghosts.
-Spongy drones.. I wish there was a way to ghost take down drones, instead of having to go loud, but I guess it does change up the gameplay.
-Always online.. I dont get why this is even a thing. Does not need to be.
-Lack of AI companions. I would like to hire a team over the course of the game or something.

Note: I didnt state that microtransactions are a bad thing, whilst they can be, I never felt in the 40+ hours of playing that I needed to buy one, at all, ever. People are blowing it out of proportion in my honest opinion.

Summary: Great open world game with alot of wiggle room for playing how you want. There is a loot system from division / assassins creed, love the inclusion of exploration mode and I feel like even just exploring the map will give most hours of fun. If the game wasnt made by ubisoft, people would give it an 8/10. I'm taking the game for what it is, how it does it and how enjoyable it is from a person who loves playing as a sniper, stealthy infiltrator. 8/10

It's too easy on the lower difficulty levels. Play it on Extreme with no mini map and the game really comes alive and becomes really immersive. Not only that, but it makes the survival, crafting and gear score elements to the game actually have meaning... they have no meaning on lower difficulty because it's too easy. On Extreme mode you can't go in guns blazing, you'll quickly get over run and die. On Extreme you really have to pre-plan and recon each "compound" you're infiltrating before you head in.

This game is pure fun to play, the guns feel satisfying to use, the graphics are beautiful on PS4 Pro, the "grind" feels rewarding and not a chore. Playing co-op with friends and even Randoms elevates the game to another level.

Microtransactions, honestly, unless you actively look for them you wouldn't even know that they're in the game. They're pointless to buy anyway. They give nobody an unfair advantage whether that be PVE or PVP... I don't agree with MTX in games, especially ones that are Pay To Win, but the ones where they're purely cosmetic items or things you can get by just playing the game then I really couldn't care less whether they're in the game or not - because I'm not stupid enough to buy them.

There are a few minor bugs, things like the distance on the objective marker would disappear, once my drone wouldn't deploy, little things like that where restarting the game fixed the problem. Nothing game breaking.

The PVP is fun, however it's only best of 3 rounds so the games don't last long, that wouldn't be a problem but the loading screens in between rounds and games are really long, so you can often spend more time watching the loading screen than actually playing! It's even more annoying when someone leaves mid game.

Really good game, can't stop playing it, I'm perplexed by the bad reviews, I really am. Like I said, if you want to experience the game at it's best, play it on Extreme difficulty, it'll feel more immersive, more of a challenge and all of the crafting, survival and gear score elements are no longer redundant like they are on the lower difficulties.

There's a huge amount of customization when it comes to the settings too, which allows you to tune the game to your exact play style, much more than just enemy difficulty. But let's get to the gameplay first, it's a third Person shooter, I personally would like it more if it would be first person, it would also be more realistic that way. My main problem with the Game is that it feels terrible to move around, it feels cluncky, I think they made it that way to make it feel realistic but that's so far away from it, it's not realistic when u can't move ur character like u want them too.

Shooting feels good but I would like it to be more like Pubg.

The Menus are just bad, everything abou them. U want o change ur class, u can't do it in the Menu u have to go somewhere to do that, u want to choose a new quest, here u have a Menu that is basically a Map, why is it not a simple drop down Menu, why are they making everything so complicated, again it feels like ubisoft thought that design decision like that would make it more realistic but they are just stupid.

Breakpoint is a bad Game and they want 60$ for it, that's just stupid, I got it for 10 andI still feels like I paid a lot for this unfinished Product that probably will nver be as good as Ubisoft said it would be in the beginning

I have not encountered any glitches at this time and I don't also feel the need to buy any micro transactions. I thought the gunplay and vast world was interesting and diverse. Now, just to be clear I am NOT in favour of the existence of these egregious microtransactions, and I'm not in favour of how they have forced it into the game by introducing bullet-sponge drones to make levelling gear important.

But there's lots to like here if you can look past the sucky business practices. I'm on UPLAY+, so I didn't have to buy this, I would also like to add, and playing at a faultless 4K60fps on a 125" screen makes the visuals absolutely eye-popping. All of which I do believe makes a difference in how I feel about it. I'm actually enjoying this a lot – a solid 8/10 from me.

It looks great from the air, sure and it even looks better than Wildlands.

The Story is boring, hell there is no story! The coolest thing about the Story is the Villain, our former brother, Cole D Walker and Jon Bernthal does a fantastic job playing him.
The Enemy AI, its pathetic!! The Enemies take magazines to their chest and only need one headshot. The Loot, Inventory System is awful and not motivating! If you want to do a good looter shooter game at least give us something we should grind for and be motivated for! Instead, we have to grind to slightly increase the level of our Armor.
And, the store is absolutely filled with Microtransactions no one needs! They implemented many elements from AC and other games to Ghost Recon, and it does not work like this!

But that's all for the good parts. There is the rest. Glitches everywhere, you have to loot at all time, so no need to customize your weapons, you'll change after killing just 2 enemies. You have to change weapons, equipment, everything, all the time, and it gives the game a bad rhythm. Shooting, menu, change your gear, shooting, changing gear again. Add to this microtransactions in the game, the fact that you have to stay online all the game, even when playing solo. THe open world is also not very interesting, and after a few hours, you'll just take a chopper to go to the new mission, or fast travel when possible. The driving is awful by the way, car or chopper, same. And they wanted to add a survival aspect, and it's ridiculous and not interesting, not one bit.

It's one big cash grab from the moment you start you go to another one of these cod ww2 like hubs where you can stand around watching other people stand around opening loot boxes or whatever the hell their doing . Not to mention the hud is a total disaster with all it's pop ups and information tabs and objective tabs constantly making you feel like you're being handheld thru the game . Then if you wanna turn this off you have to traverse the sub menus to get more sub menus of the real menus and so on and so forth making it already unesscarily frustrating . And their big selling point was that now in this installment you can burn thru gates with a torch and cover you're self in dirt which I will add were cool features until you have to circumnavigate the whole complex of an enemy base just to find one gate that actually allows you to cut through it and open it up . The worst part of the game for me though and was a total turn off was the same ol same ol division like rpg looter shooter nonsense of picking up more weapons with gear levels and all this **** you don't care about . So instead of making the game with success like wildlands their stubbornly decided to suffocate the game with the modern gaming industries cancer which is you guessed it more microtransactions and timesink mechanics to say hay you bought our game now for a pretty penny you don't like it now too bad go **** you're self . So after that stunt I decided I won't be buying one more single Ubisoft game ever again and I encourage others to do the same. Expand

Micro-transactions and a permanent internet connection required to play single. Ubi$oft doesn't care about the community, doesn't respect her.

I remember the sheer joy of playing the first Ghost Recon on PS2 years ago. A game made from the heart for gamers. Now we have a piss poor attempt at making a game that seems more focused on exploiting people for monetary gain. Ubisoft now can join EA, Activision and Bethesda in games our family refuses to buy.

This is just a copy and paste of wildlands with division 2 gameplay features. It's no good and I'm happy I borrowed it from a friend before he sold it

The game is worse than every previous entry in every aspect but graphics. Bland, grindy, soulless. And the store, oh lord the store... The gameplay is just the bait to get you interested, tired and make you spend to "save time". Save yourself some time - stay away. For free.

There is absolutely nothing to gloss over here, Ubisoft follows in the footsteps of EA and distances itself from its player community. It's just a bad service game. Don't waste your money on this **** If you want to play Ghostrecon, get Ghostrecon Wildlands instead. Not a perfect game either, but still way better than this trash.

That being said, the structure of the game is the most confusing and offputting aspect of the whole package, from the idea of Gear Score meaning nothing in the context of headshot-always-wins.

THAT being said, the high action, high tension moments are awesome. Playing with a squad works to the game's benefit, by design or not, having to improvise when a plan goes wrong and everything erupts into a firefight is where this game shines over it's predecessor, thankfully, now that the AI is being adjusted to react more realistically/harshly to detection and reinforcements, the way it did in Wildlands.

You won't find Metal Gear Solid, but you'll find something VERY like it with the Ghost Recon series, and that continues into Breakpoint, from mechanics, to design to controls and aesthetics and laying on your back aiming at your feet, and active camo while laying prone. The game has a lot of convolution in terms of what it wants to be, with a social hub, a lot of microtransactions (which in all honesty is just a continuation of Wildlands/Division Ubisoft, which is not good, but isn't as egregious as many are making it out to be).

If you want a Wildlands-Gear sandbox with a super-emphasis on customization, a confusing but functionally-true-Ghost-Recon-realism, this game does the basics right. As it is an online only game, another knock, there is a lot they need to work out as far as how they want to continue the 'live service' hub and economy aspects. Otherwise, bugs carried over from wildlands and mentioned faults all said, Breakpoint's highs are explosive and fun and frantic, as well as tense and tactical as much or little of each as you plan it to be. Flawed, but fun.

Another "triple a" game that's a broken mess littered with micro transactions. This is lucky it gets a one because of John Bernthal and his dog.

Like most people I have been looking forward to purchasing Ghost Recon Breakpoint for months only to discover through a recent vague tweet that it was online-only. Now that the game has been released for early access, I realise why this game was created as an online-only title. And that is to give Ubisoft the means to target people through the excessive microtransaction system that they have adopted for this game.

I have already contacted Ubisoft and told them to delete my uplay account, and any other accounts associated because of this issue. For many years I have purchased Ubisoft games, and have been very loyal as a consumer. Assassins Creed, Watch Dogs, Wildlands etc. But when I discovered that Ghost Recon Breakpoint was online-only, I decided to take a stand, and have made a personal vow to give no more custom to Ubisoft until their improper policies change. If we as gamers, do not draw this line in the sand right here and now, this problem will escalate to a point where the entire gaming industry will suffer significantly as a result.

Just stop and think about the many people who do not have an Internet connection. And also stop and think about all the people who are being financially exploited by these microtransactions. It is easy to say that people are not forced to use these microtransactions, yet there are many news stories of vulnerable people running up huge bills

In my opinion we do not need legislation against microtransactions. It would send out a more powerful message if we come together as gamers, and reject the use of microtransactions. WE can be the legislation. Not just gamers. But bloggers, YouTube gamers, reviewers, people in the industry. Let's advertise it everywhere. We can cripple microtransactions and these discrimatory online-only schemes through our own decisive actions. If everyone who has left a review here on Metacritic were to delete their uplay and Ubisoft accounts, it would change the dynamic of these corrupt practices in an instant.

And just from being proactive, taking immediate and decisive action, we would rid ourselves of the practices that we detest. It is one thing to complain, but it is so much more effective to take immediate action. This is not just Ubisoft, this applies to other developers and games too. So let's get the ball rolling. Let's create a wave of awareness to save our gaming industry, and let's take decisive action together so that we can ALL continue to enjoy the games we play whether that is online or offline, and without being financially exploited.

Let's tell Sony that if they are not transparent about how games are going to be sold on the PS5, that we are not going to invest in their console. As consumers we have had enough of guessing whether games will be online or offline, or whether we will be bombarded with these microtransactions. Let's take a stand not just for our own interests, but for the interests of others too. I would rather everyone be able to access and enjoy a game rather than just a select few.

The games as a service model does not benefit any of us. And by showing our absolute unwaivering unity, we can ensure that such practices are completely unworkable.

    + better world map
+ stable 30fps on ps4 pro with graphic setting
+ somehow slightly better missions than in wildlands
+ ok gunplay and thank god no bullet eating enemies
    now the problems:
    - TERRIBLE POINTLESS microtransactions everywhere
    - always online bs (especially consider the fact that ubi severs are just bad joke)
    - as a SOLO player i feel like game is keep pushing me into online, coop, MP all the time
    - no AI companions yet (probably to force you into MP and so spend some money on micros)
    - annoying story/immersion breaking hub with other players running around
    - bad voice acting of many characters and also bad face animations
    - glitches, bugs, clipping and graphical issues everywhere
    - driving feels wrong

damn ubisoft... you managed to get out of dirty swamp of downgrade issues just to fall into even worse swamp of shady microtransactions and constant online bs features

A big step back from Wildlands, miss the car music radio, the AI helpers, the map is really confusing, no GPS tracking for vehicle , Unlike the cinematics but sometimes they don't make sense.

Felt like I had to show some love for this game. I know it got a lot of criticism early on. I started playing post- "immersive mode" update which drops the loot shooter aspect of the game and honestly I really enjoy it. Stealth is actually required (unlike Wildlands) or you get swamped. AI isn't the greatest, but hey, you can always turn up the difficulty.
    Pretty awesome open-world

Pretty awesome open-world setting to explore. Never felt like I was wandering aimlessly, there is always some objective to pursue. I like that you can play the game solo or in coop with friends. Ubi also injected the game with TONS of options in the settings menu so you can basically customize the game until it feels like the game that you want to play (including difficulty, how many weapons you carry, injury resistance, stamina regeneration, on and on...)
Overall, solid stuff here IF you ignore the loot-shooting and just want to play a tactical shooter.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint offers a vast universe, where the survival aspects have been strengthened from GR Widlands. If the game suffers from a perfectible AI and a clear feeling of "déjà-vu", it doesn’t take anything away from its effectiveness. It works well, especially in coop, while the PVP is viciously nervous. An imperfect title, but with great moments, and a huge potential if handled with care by Ubisoft in the coming months.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is coincidentally living up to its name, being a failure and potential gravedigger for the famous franchise. Riddled with Pay-to-Win microtransactions tacked on looter shooter gameplay and pretty under average storytelling, even Jon Berenthal wasn’t enough to arise this gameplay up to some decent playable heights.

At its best, Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a taut and tactical shooter that works brilliantly in co-op and is genuinely enjoyable to play but at its heart this is just another sandbox shooter and one that doesn't meet the technical standards we're used to from Ubisoft.
