Dear Ubisoft since you have taken my money(£100) I was wondering if can get a side-order of gameplay to go with my Pay to Win Microtransactions, Perpetual Hard crashes, server lags and
    straight faced lies.

    I shall be forever Obliged.

Wildlands was mediocre at best. And you would think Ubisoft would improve upon it. But this is 10 steps back.

The entire progression of this game is based off microtransactions, or "time savers" if you will.

Complete and utter rubbish. If someone gifts this to you, sell it immediately for 5$

AI is dumb and bugged as hell - you dont need any skill at all even on Extreme difficulty. You dont even need any weapons except for single sidearms until you hit a grind wall in a form of extremely bullet-spongy drones that you must destroy from time to time to progress in story.

Monetization should be mentioned separately - it is one of the worst pay-2-win even by the standard of free-2-play mobile game: you can literally by everything from start with enough real money including weapons, mods, vehicles, currency etc. This is a ridiculous example of play-2-not-play. No wonder devs did not care about filling open world with any meaningful activities - you are not meant to traverse whole world but instead meant to pay more money to skip intentionally boring lazily copy-pasted grind locations.

Summary - you will lose nothing if you just skip this one, unless you are some kind of casual whale who dont mind spending a low of cash on a buggy mess just to complete it asap and move on to something more interesting and polished. This game may be worth checking again in 6-12 months when most bugs will be finally fixed and price will drop to 15-20 USD, but is no not really worth a cent more than that

Got this game as a birthday gift. Was quite excited to play it as i really enjoyed the ghost recon games on the xbox 360 back in the day. Was quite excited to play it as i really enjoyed the ghost recon games on the xbox 360 back in the day. But my excitement soon disappeared when i started to play. This sin't really a game. It's basically a microtransaction store first and a game second. And the game that is there is very buggy and broken. It reminds me of Assassins Creed Unity and Fallout 76 in terms of how broken it is. The A.I is probably some of the worst i've ever seen. Enemies just stand there and wait for you to shoot them. And when you shoot they will be alerted and acknowledge someone is shooting, yet just stand there like a prize lemon waiting to be shot. Or they will literally stand right in front of you and not see you. They float about in mid air, get stuck on objects, it really is bad. Vehicle handling is very poor, especially bikes, bikes are outright broken. An you're supposed to be like a hardcore special forces ghost yet when your stamina bar runs out you cannot even traverse small walls that are only a few feet in height, lol. They story is terrible and full of stupid things that simply wouldn't happen, and that breaks the immersion. You're suppsoed to be this lone special forces ghost stranded behind enemy lines and need to find back up. Yet right at the start of the game you end up in a camp with like 100 or so other special forces ghost soldiers just standing around dancing or doing silly emotes. It's like, well here's 100 other special forces ghosts in this camp, why can't they just help me? lol It serves no purpose other than to set up a hub for the many microtransactions within the game, and there are A LOT of microtransactions. The silly things that these so called hardcore best of the best special forces do within the cutscenes just simply wouldn't happen and is so so stupid to the point you will either find it laughable, annoying or both. It's very immersion breaking. The story is also very bland the plot is full of holes and the voice acting and dialouge is cringe. Its worse than a bad B Movie is what it is. Graphics are very average from a modern game. I remember the ghost recon games i played on the xbox 360 back in the day blew me away with how pretty they looked. But the same cannot be said about this game. Especially not after coming off playing red dead 2 and days gone. They make this game look pretty average. All in all this is one of the worst birthday presents i have ever been given. And up there as one of the worst games i've ever played. Although you can't really call it a game as such as its more a microtranaction store front than a game and the game is an afterthought. I haven't used the microtransactions as i despise them. They have no place in a full price game. But i guarantee you that the microtransaction store front works perfectly with zero bugs. Yet the game part is very broken and full of bugs. Expand

Is it even possible that people keep buying low effort garbage like this? This game is YET another lifeless, open world Ubisoft game filled with bugs and unnecessary RPG elements in order to justify microtransactions. How low can someone's standards be in order to keep buying the EXACT same crap every year with just different titles slapped on them. How low can someone's standards be in order to keep buying the EXACT same crap every year with just different titles slapped on them. Ghost recon, Far Cry, Assassin's Creed, The Division. All these games share the exact same structure and offer the exact same gameplay loop that leads to nowhere. No signs of creative gameplay mechanics, no signs of a proper coherent narative. Just throw the player in an open world to wander around and fill it with activities that offer trash loot and will inevitably lead the player to microtransaction proposals.

Ubisoft is the worst company out there by a long margin. At least EA and Activision might interact with their communities here and there about bugs and microtransaction issues... Ubisoft never does. the only time they'll come out is when they need to apologize to minorities. All my **** lolz at this piece of **** company.

I love Wildlands but Breakpoint tries something new and unfortunately it is just bad... Of course I get it. It should be hunter being hunted but c'mon...

First mission you find biggest cave on the island with the group of people who decide to trust you... Quest are just boring and lack of AI is just dumb... They hyped you for ultimate survival but the only survival thing is... well
I love Wildlands but Breakpoint tries something new and unfortunately it is just bad... Of course I get it. It should be hunter being hunted but c'mon...

First mission you find biggest cave on the island with the group of people who decide to trust you... Quest are just boring and lack of AI is just dumb... They hyped you for ultimate survival but the only survival thing is... well nothing at all I was playing for few hours and nothing really happened to me I don't need to drink water, eat, sleep. Yes when they start shooting they can cripple you but just stick the syringe into yourself and you are suddenly in perfect shape and condition. JUST NO! If you wan't to make survival let's pretend that health bar does not exist... If they shoot you, you need to hide and threat the wound.

Story is just a joke compared to Wildlands. I love the style how you could progress and yes it wasn't the best but it is much more better to find intel and then do the quest than just go to your main hub and talk to people who suddenly need you help and a favour.

I love Wildlands AI and skill trees to support them but this one without them is just boring. I know there is an option to play with real people but let's be honest it's hard to find someone random to play as you like to play. I really enjoy silent tactical gameplay and most of the people are just rushing through the enemy lines...
I hope they will ad AI as soon as possible.

Also gear system is pointless... why do I need to collect gear? Did I have to do it in Wildlands? NO and I was fine with it. There is another game from UBISOFT where you collect the gear and let's be honest Divison is not the best either.

PVP I played 3 games and all three ended up the same if somebody got shot it was game over for them and instead of waiting for the other teammates to finish the round they just quit the game and next round you played 3v4 or even 2v4... Length of the round is also a little bit too long but it should be tactical right. 10 minutes is not too long for stealth gameplay but people as I mention before love to just rush and shoot anything that moves...

Microtrasactions are everywhere... WHY? Can anyone make a AAA game without putting this **** on? I do not mind support the game even more when the game is good. But really this one is not worth it and I am kind of glad I played it through UPLAY+ so I can just cancel the subscription and forget this game even exist until they fix it.

OK let's wrap it up. If you love Wildlands and you expect upgrade I do not think you will find it here. They added a lot of new things but they cut few what made previous game much more better. If you have 3 friends who can assimilate to your way to play go for it. If you hoping for miracle and looking for players with online matchmaking I think this game is not worth it.

The worst part about this game is, that at its core its really fun. But that's doesn't matter, because Ubisoft managed to bury that core so deep under insulting MTX, bad game design, RPG light mechanics NO ONE asked for, writing so bland and boring that I might as well listen to an audiobook while playing as well as no real optimization and bugs, so many bugs.

    Weapons feel good, but

Weapons feel good, but since the game acts like its a looter shooter that doesn't matter. You will switch weapons out constantly. The devs also haven't figured out how to make cars and helicopters that feel realistic and control well, which amazes me, considering GTA 5 figured that out in 2013.
But at least its "fun with friends", but to be fair, everything can be fun with friends. A old and broken football can be fun with friends. Doesn't make the game good.

Oh, also, you cant play the game without an internet connection. AT ALL. Even tho you can play the game SP, great right?

In short, safe your money and buy a better game than this, its not worth it.

TL;DR Actual rating 4 at most, perhaps a 6 if you play co-op with friends exclusively which is where the most fun is to bad had but the excessive micro-transactions ruin it and damage Ubi-Softs reputation at the same time, you're better than this Ubi-Soft!

More broken than people realize, the amount of bugs...some of them serious is astounding and it was clear this game was not ready for launch. Some of the bugs and issues which was discovered closed beta was never addressed, Drone/Night Vision and enemy tagging often bugs and becomes unusable, daily escort/rescue missions often have no end-point so you cannot finish them and the server often crashes causing lost progress.

Weak story, Ghost War doesn't make any sense with the narrative story and typical par Ubi-Soft for collectables, hidden areas and outpost grinding etc~ basically quite similar to wildlands just more annoying to travel around. Many areas feel empty and lifeless which unfortunately doesn't help, wildlands open world had a living, breathing feeling with NPCs and vehicles driving where as Breakpoint feels lifeless.

One of the very biggest issues is the sheer amount of recycled content, you have a giant island with 1000s of locations to discover...yet its just really about 10 or 20 or so locations just re-used over and over again, same with the enemies...there is about 7 or 8 different enemies and that is pretty much it for the entire game, not including unique story related bosses of course so basically after a few hours of playing, you literally have seen most of the game has to offer...same content, just in a different location.

Drone combat is also a joke, murmurs are perhaps the most annoying enemy in the history of gaming. They are fairly harmless to your character but utterly destroy vehicles like helicopters, and you pretty much need a 3rd party aimbot to destroy them because once agitated they move extremely fast in an unpredictable pattern for 10 or so seconds before stopping briefly, which is your window to shoot at them again before flying around again at mach 10.

Gunplay is fine, almost a cut and paste of wildlands in that respect however, the AI seems to have been downgraded with pathing issues making enemies act in strange ways occasionally. Sound and gameplay are actually just average to be honest, they are not ground breaking but not bad either, most people could get some enjoyment from playing.

Driving mechanics is actually WORST than wildlands, the helio controls are a joke - trying to aim is a chore as the control is super twitchy and takes alot of practice to compensate, generally driving is just comical sometimes.

Now, addressing the elephant in the room. The atrocious MTX, seriously - this cannot be allowed to become the norm and a line in the sand needs to be drawn by the players and by regulating governments, not industry watchdogs who are directly in the pockets of the industry and literally do not support or protect the consumers at all, looking at you ESRB. Anyone supporting predatory microtransaction and loot boxes are the ones slowly destroying the gaming industry here, and need to be called out on it.

MTX has no place in any AAA titles, the entire arguments about cosmetic only is even a one sided argument and even that shouldn't have any place in a full price title, let alone full on pay to win mechanics.

Back in the mid 2000s when Free to Play MMos dominated, loot boxes, gambling and MTX was rife and the greed is what eventually led to the downfall of freemium MMos, look at that industry now - its DEAD, on life-support at best, the mobile gaming industry adopted many of those sinister business practices from freemium MMos and the birth of the cancerous IAP market was born, just look at the mobile gaming industry right now - its pure cancer and that has been slowly spreading to AAA industry over the past few years..

We saw EA and Bethesda both try some fairly underhanded monetization tactics, as well as Rockstar heavily monetizating GTA online and as some of the blowback with controversial titles like Battlefront 2 are still fresh, Ubi-Soft which have been generally walking the tight-rope with monetization decides to one-up everyone by pretty much monetizating the entire game, heck the only thing I'm surprised at is they haven't monetized bullets/ammo yet....oh wait, they did in Far Cry 5 - this is a warning to Ubi-Soft, this is going to hurt your reputation significantly from here on out, any future products will be heavily scrutinized for similar business practices and I highly suggest you decide to ease way back on MTX for future releases.

Also, Ubi-Softs TOS is pretty bad too, essentially you cannot get any refunds for ANY digital purchases on the uplay store > NO MATTER WHAT < whether you purchased a game and your having issues, or you pre-ordered a game and decide to cancel that pre-order.

My main problem with the Game is that it feels terrible to move around, it feels cluncky, I think they made it that way to make it feel realistic but that's so far away from it, it's not realistic when u can't move ur character like u want them too.

Shooting feels good but I would like it to be more like Pubg.

The Menus are just bad, everything abou them. U want o change ur class, u can't do it in the Menu u have to go somewhere to do that, u want to choose a new quest, here u have a Menu that is basically a Map, why is it not a simple drop down Menu, why are they making everything so complicated, again it feels like ubisoft thought that design decision like that would make it more realistic but they are just stupid.

Breakpoint is a bad Game and they want 60$ for it, that's just stupid, I got it for 10 andI still feels like I paid a lot for this unfinished Product that probably will nver be as good as Ubisoft said it would be in the beginning

    Oh Hell no!
This game had everything to succeed. The energy with the wolves and ghosts was great! The Trailers got me hyped up about the game! When I played it in the beta, I immediately noticed that the world felt empty. After Wildlands, which was filled with unique locations and many NPCs. Auroa feels empty. It looks great from the air, sure and it even looks better than Wildlands.

Auroa was a great Opportunity to create an interesting world with many NPCs, but Ubisoft did not use this golden opportunity.
The Story is boring, hell there is no story! The coolest thing about the Story is the Villain, our former brother, Cole D Walker and Jon Bernthal does a fantastic job playing him.
The Enemy AI, its pathetic!! The Enemies take magazines to their chest and only need one headshot. The Loot, Inventory System is awful and not motivating! If you want to do a good looter shooter game at least give us something we should grind for and be motivated for! Instead, we have to grind to slightly increase the level of our Armor.
And, the store is absolutely filled with Microtransactions no one needs! They implemented many elements from AC and other games to Ghost Recon, and it does not work like this!

The Verdict for Tom Clancys Ghost Division Odyssey Breakpoint is a 2/10! Ubisoft, please fix it.

The team that developed this game clearly didn’t understand what players liked in the previous one, they kept all the bads parts and deleted all good things from wildland, like playing with the gun you like the most, the RP like game to try to create a kind of World of Warcraft FPS.
If no one want to play the division, why are you puting gameplays mechanics in a game that every one liked?

So many things to say about this game. I wasn't a fan of the previous game, Wildlands, but it was funnier to play. So, what is good in Breakpoint? But that's all for the good parts. There is the rest. Glitches everywhere, you have to loot at all time, so no need to customize your weapons, you'll change after killing just 2 enemies. You have to change weapons, equipment, everything, all the time, and it gives the game a bad rhythm. Shooting, menu, change your gear, shooting, changing gear again. Add to this microtransactions in the game, the fact that you have to stay online all the game, even when playing solo. THe open world is also not very interesting, and after a few hours, you'll just take a chopper to go to the new mission, or fast travel when possible. The driving is awful by the way, car or chopper, same. And they wanted to add a survival aspect, and it's ridiculous and not interesting, not one bit.
    A bad open world game!

And you have to have a friend playing with you, if it's not available for playing game then the solo mode is very tough even on a lower difficulty. It's one big cash grab from the moment you start you go to another one of these cod ww2 like hubs where you can stand around watching other people stand around opening loot boxes or whatever the hell their doing . Not to mention the hud is a total disaster with all it's pop ups and information tabs and objective tabs constantly making you feel like you're being handheld thru the game . Then if you wanna turn this off you have to traverse the sub menus to get more sub menus of the real menus and so on and so forth making it already unesscarily frustrating . And their big selling point was that now in this installment you can burn thru gates with a torch and cover you're self in dirt which I will add were cool features until you have to circumnavigate the whole complex of an enemy base just to find one gate that actually allows you to cut through it and open it up . The worst part of the game for me though and was a total turn off was the same ol same ol division like rpg looter shooter nonsense of picking up more weapons with gear levels and all this **** you don't care about . So instead of making the game with success like wildlands their stubbornly decided to suffocate the game with the modern gaming industries cancer which is you guessed it more microtransactions and timesink mechanics to say hay you bought our game now for a pretty penny you don't like it now too bad go **** you're self . So after that stunt I decided I won't be buying one more single Ubisoft game ever again and I encourage others to do the same. Expand

I just want to say first of all, I didn't purchase this game.

Like most people I have been looking forward to purchasing Ghost Recon Breakpoint for months only to discover through a recent vague tweet that it was online-only. Now that the game has been released for early access, I realise why this game was created as an online-only title. And that is to give Ubisoft the means to target people through the excessive microtransaction system that they have adopted for this game.

I have already contacted Ubisoft and told them to delete my uplay account, and any other accounts associated because of this issue. For many years I have purchased Ubisoft games, and have been very loyal as a consumer. Assassins Creed, Watch Dogs, Wildlands etc. But when I discovered that Ghost Recon Breakpoint was online-only, I decided to take a stand, and have made a personal vow to give no more custom to Ubisoft until their improper policies change. If we as gamers, do not draw this line in the sand right here and now, this problem will escalate to a point where the entire gaming industry will suffer significantly as a result.

Just stop and think about the many people who do not have an Internet connection. And also stop and think about all the people who are being financially exploited by these microtransactions. It is easy to say that people are not forced to use these microtransactions, yet there are many news stories of vulnerable people running up huge bills

In my opinion we do not need legislation against microtransactions. It would send out a more powerful message if we come together as gamers, and reject the use of microtransactions. WE can be the legislation. Not just gamers. But bloggers, YouTube gamers, reviewers, people in the industry. Let's advertise it everywhere. We can cripple microtransactions and these discrimatory online-only schemes through our own decisive actions. If everyone who has left a review here on Metacritic were to delete their uplay and Ubisoft accounts, it would change the dynamic of these corrupt practices in an instant.

And just from being proactive, taking immediate and decisive action, we would rid ourselves of the practices that we detest. It is one thing to complain, but it is so much more effective to take immediate action. This is not just Ubisoft, this applies to other developers and games too. So let's get the ball rolling. Let's create a wave of awareness to save our gaming industry, and let's take decisive action together so that we can ALL continue to enjoy the games we play whether that is online or offline, and without being financially exploited.

Let's tell Sony that if they are not transparent about how games are going to be sold on the PS5, that we are not going to invest in their console. As consumers we have had enough of guessing whether games will be online or offline, or whether we will be bombarded with these microtransactions. Let's take a stand not just for our own interests, but for the interests of others too. I would rather everyone be able to access and enjoy a game rather than just a select few.

The games as a service model does not benefit any of us. And by showing our absolute unwaivering unity, we can ensure that such practices are completely unworkable.

Ubi says they listen to their fans but while they seem to take one step forward in one aspect, they take several steps back in others. No one asked for many of the things they introduced in GRB and in some cases, the community had even made jokes about it in the past (e.g. "drone wars").

While GRW wasn't perfect, my friends and I loved it and we also liked their vision. However, I didn't like where they started taking that title with the release of GW, leveling weapons in Tier One or with their fantasy themed DLC. The writing was on the wall at that point that they had no intention of sticking with their original direction for GRW but at least we still had the core campaign that was unspoiled by GW or the other content if you didn't wish to play that.

Read the reviews. Even many of the folks who say they like the game admit they don't like where they took the franchise with GRB. It's always a bit of a compromise with these games but this time there was nowhere near enough there for me to justify putting up with all the things I hate about it.

Breakpoint makes me wish this was Wildlands 2. The world of Auroa is unoriginal and bland, and it's empty 63% of the time. The only people that drive cars in this game are the enemy AI, despite civilians being in the game. Speaking of the enemy AI, it's stupid beyond belief. They tend to react to nothing, and it's easy to wipe out a full base without serious consequences. Squads areBreakpoint makes me wish this was Wildlands 2. Speaking of the enemy AI, it's stupid beyond belief. They tend to react to nothing, and it's easy to wipe out a full base without serious consequences. Squads are half-assed, the story is hot garbage, and one I can't get invested in. Characters you can't connect with, god-awful voice acting, and after completing a mission, you feel you never made a difference. Unlike in Wildlands, where completing a missing gets you one step closer to defeating the boss of that certain region. Cutscenes are terrible to look at, they all look like plastic when they speak. However, the gameplay is nice, gunplay feels quite fluid, and some animations look nice. Not all though. Graphics are better, and they've added survival mechanics, but it's whether you like it or not. I don't. So, I disabled it. And it's important to mention that none of the regular immersive features existed at launch.

The game has adapted some sort of hub area to hang out in, which strays from a normal Ghost Recon game. You can still find guns around the map, but you can also buy them from the shop of Erewhon, they hub area. Ther's even, you know. MICROtransactions. The game uses this currency system called Skel Credits that you can find around the world. If you don't want to traverse the incredibly boring, bland, unoriginal, stupidly narrow "open" world, you can always buy the guns from the shop. Skel Credits are also used to buy certain clothing items, refill your items gear, and buy vehicle skins. But please, REFRAIN from buying ANY vehicle skin in the game. The only vehicles you'll be using is either helicopters, dirt bikes, or fast travel. Because the world is so narrow, attempting to drive any other car than the ones I listed up there is hellishly tough. There's nothing to see or do in Auroa anyway, and all the best landmarks in the game are not interactable. Missions don't add any incentive to complete them, unlike Wildlands, when you took down a cartel boss you'd get a crap-ton of skill points or even a unique weapon you couldn't find anywhere else.

At launch, you didn't have a Ghost team, which turned of a lot of people from playing the game. Later, they did add a squad, and the end result is pretty bad. See, in Wildlands, your squad was calm, cool, and collected. They'd banter which each other for a few seconds, whether you entered a new province or after a briefing from Bowman. In Breakpoint. your squad of characters are forgettable. They never talk with you. NEVER. Not one conversation can be struck up with them, and I only use them as help for clearing bases, whereas in Wildlands, I kept my squad active to dress them up in serious or sometimes silly outfits, and just have them walk around with me in the beautiful world of Bolivia. The only time your squad in Breakpoint ever talks is either when they complement you on getting a headshot, marking an enemy, or using their abilities. I don't change their outfits much, and usually only change the weapons they carry.

Like said before, the world of Auroa is horrendous to look at and explore. Second worst map since Pokémon: Scarlet and Violet's world. I'm not incentivized to explore, find guns, gear, clothing, skill points, or even enemy bases, something I did a lot in Wildlands. Civilians exist, but they always ask, "What are you doing here?" or "Please don't hurt me!" Then I shoot them for fun. The civilians don't drive, ever, and you tend to wonder why they even bothered adding regular cars in the world, half of which you can't even drive. You can't holster your weapon like Wildlands. It's LITERALLY the definition of one of the "worst open world games ever".

Story is ass. I would review for you, but I haven't completed it yet, and probably never will. But so far, characters are horribly designed, voice acting is -10/10, and character development is just non-existent. Enemy variety is the same as Wildlands, though, as you can guess by now, Wildlands had better enemy variety. First is Sentinel. Much like the cartel, Sentinel are the main enemies you fight throughout the game. Their AI is stupid, but they banter with one another, a lot more I can say for my own damn squad. They don't have many tools to their disposal, and you can stealth a whole base of Sentinel enemies and not get caught. If you do get caught, there aren't any consequences. The next is Wolves, and much similar to Unidad in Wildlands, they are the greater threat. But the Wolves are as easy to defeat as Sentinel. They LITERALLY offer no new challenge. They have more drones, but that's about it. Yeah, I hated going up against the Unidad in Wildlands, and sometimes tried avoiding missions that included them, but at least they differentiated from the cartel.

Breakpoint is just bad. Simple as that.

Ubisoft has really declined in the quality department as of late. Especially in Ghost Recon Breakpoint with their lackluster story, terrible AI, glitches, extremely repetitive gameplay, and it's OUTRAGEOUS monitization! This game was just made to get into your wallet!

The open world in this game is extremely boring. The physics are beyond horrible. The driving in this game feels terrible and it is just tacked-on garbage. The cars barely have any physics. The missions and level design are boring and repetitive. The greedy developers made the game so you can buy you're way to success, rather than actually playing the game. The running animations are cringeworthy.

This game is online only. So once the developers decide to switch off the servers, this game will end up in the trash can. Charging $60 for an online only game is a cashgrab. I don't recommend this awful game at all. This game should be a free-to-play game.

This game is a total disaster! Tried the demo and it remains one big unplayble **** Hope Ubisoft can learn something from this and deliver better games in the future.

There's a good game here buried under tons of corporate refuse.
Plagued with head-scratching issues, poor AI, weird physics issues.
Its too big which leaves too much potential for error. It isn't structured well enough and suffers from Ubi-Map-Syndrome. In a game that, at its core, is supposed to be a realistic tactical shooter, they've missed the mark by a long, long way. I've you're

This game has lots of issues that will just turn you off, none of those issues is major, except for the micro-translations.. If they fixed the latter then this game might be worth a try after a few updates, and only then I'd give it a 6..

Ghost Recon Breakpoint offers a vast universe, where the survival aspects have been strengthened from GR Widlands. If the game suffers from a perfectible AI and a clear feeling of "déjà-vu", it doesn’t take anything away from its effectiveness. It works well, especially in coop, while the PVP is viciously nervous. An imperfect title, but with great moments, and a huge potential if handled with care by Ubisoft in the coming months.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is coincidentally living up to its name, being a failure and potential gravedigger for the famous franchise. Riddled with Pay-to-Win microtransactions tacked on looter shooter gameplay and pretty under average storytelling, even Jon Berenthal wasn’t enough to arise this gameplay up to some decent playable heights.

At its best, Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a taut and tactical shooter that works brilliantly in co-op and is genuinely enjoyable to play but at its heart this is just another sandbox shooter and one that doesn't meet the technical standards we're used to from Ubisoft.
