Titan Attacks is a seriously addictive spin on a classic video game formula that’ll keep you playing beyond your first run through its one hundred stages.

It's a basic game in design and premise with just enough there to keep things interesting, and while it's not even remotely going out on a ledge with new design philosophies, beautiful graphics, or a lengthy campaign, its hook resides in its quaintness. It's unapologetically old-school.

You have to practically milk your money to beat the bosses as you'll be so underpowered it's beyond stupid.
Gets kind of boring after awhile too.. stick with the classics like Asteroids.

But it adds in layers of modernity through the use of weapon and ship upgrades, and an increasingly difficult balancing act of available upgrades and tactics to complete the 100 levels of the game. New Game+ and leaderboards features also gives it added replayability. Full Review »
