Season 2 picks up after the first and follows Clementine, the young girl Lee protected in season 1. Playing as Clem gives you a different perspective on the world and makes you do things you never would before. Just like all Telltale games your decisions shape the story/world, Not as much as I would like but still enough to get me to play it a second time. A lot of the choices your forced to make in the story will make you weight your relationship with the characters and sometimes do things you regret. This game is also set in the same world as the TV so you will see some of the same characters and themes.
If you have read the books,Watched the TV show or played season 1
you need owe it to yourself to play this phenomenal series.

Excellent sequel. Great, moving story, for me better than one from tv series. I dont care, if my decisions doesnt make much difference, I intended to play this once anyway. Besides Clem is a girl not a god, to me its more realistic if my decisions arent as impactfull as some of You would like to be. Its not perfect but we rarely have so good story in a game.

Season Two is full of genuinely devastating drama, palpable tension and difficult choices that make a much more significant impact this time around. Probably one of the greatest zombie tales across any medium.

In my opinion, the sequel to the 2012 game of the year is every bit as good if not BETTER than it's predecessor. Clementine is one of the best characters in video game history. 10/10

Amazing, hearth breaking and beautiful story of survival and the power of the human spirit. 10 out of 10 for me. I might be a minority but I feel that the second season is better than the first one. For once the graphics still hold their own in 2016. The story for me is also deeper with the characters feeling more alive and important.

In my opinion just as good as the first season. As before it's a story, it's like a tv series or a comic, and the gameplay is just there to keep you focussed on the story. The gameplay is also there to make choices. Choices not to change the story, but mainly to change the way you view the story and how the interaction with other characters feels.

The gameplay is also there to make choices. Choices not to change the story, but mainly to change the way you view the story and how the interaction with other characters feels.
For example, there's a girl in this game that is somewhat helpless. You can either be understanding and try to comfort her or you can be cold towards her. I did both in two playthroughs. In the first I had the feeling I was helpful, I got the feeling of beeing a mentor so someone. In my second playthrough the I was cold against the girl, which in turn made me think of her as a nuassance more and more. This is how it is in real life too, the way you react to a certain situation doesn't usually change the essence of the situation, it does change the way you, and other feel about it though.
Also, the characters in season 2 are just as good. No you won't feel the same love and trust... but that's not a bad thing. I cared more about surviving then I did about the other characters. I looked at the other people suspiciously, I didn't fully trust any of them. This makes a completely different feeling from the first season. But just as good. Maybe even better because following up a strong story like that wasn't easy!

I don't understand the advantage of episodic gaming though, so I always buy telltale games when all episodes are out.

This season was not as perfect as the first season. It completely nailed the characters in a very good way and the gameplay felt more interactive. While it may not quite reach the high bar that season 1 set for it, season 2 of the Walking Dead is still a very enjoyable game that should be played if you liked season 1 of the franchise. As it develops the characters from season 1 and adds new and interesting characters to the mix. This game allows for an interesting story with interesting characters in an interesting world.

This was a great sequel to season 1 (highly recommend you play season 1 before jumping into this).

Great to see this has been improved, the user interface looks smoother, graphics are much better than season 1, and the story was great. I was worried that they wouldn't have enough stories for a sequel to keep me interested, but i loved this season.
