The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights Of Britannia is a game that will please the anime fans thanks to its wonderful combats and a complete story mode. However, this is not a game for those how are not fond of animation, since it is its best feature.

Though it is accessible and enjoyable for many, it means everything that makes the anime so enjoyable is being spread too thin. It needs to be more focused, less complicated, and the good aspects need to be made great.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia has many mistakes that can hinder your gaming experience. Thanks to its various mechanics and the detail of the destruction of the stage, as well as the variety of characters, this title make the path less heavy while we look for other sins.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia brings the franchise for the first time in the videogame world. It is not perfect, but there are some good ideas. And it will make the fans happy.

A failed attempt to reprise the anime's success with a game that never gets too interesting on its gameplay or its narrative. A missed opportunity to make another a great anime adaptation to videogame.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia is a solid experience for fans, but lacks on game modes and some of its ideas are not remarkably executed. It is correct both visually and in gameplay term though. Recommended for fans, a good entry to the franchise.

The gameplay is fun when it works properly, but sticking out the issues in multiplayer most likely won’t appeal to those with no emotional ties to the series. In that way, I feel, die hard 7 Deadly Sins fans may be the only ones that will truly appreciate this title.

The mega hit manga / anime The Seven Deadly Sins has been ported by Bandai Namco for the PS4 in the form of an action 3D game plenty of characters to choose from. But the archaic control scheme and the limited playability that these fights offer to the player harms the experience.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia is a wasted opportunity. Battles are repetitive and the roster is unbalanced. Also, the graphics reminds one of a PS3 game.

While the art design truly captures the manga/anime source, the mechanics never really stand out and try to accommodate fans of beat-em-up, musou and 3d-brawling - all at the same time.

If you plan on getting into The Seven Deadly Sins, I believe you'll be better off watching the anime series and that's it. Unfortunately, the game doesn't to the anime and manage series any justice, as it seems rather unpolished and a bit rushed. Aside from the many problems with the controls and combat system, the game isn't interesting enough to make it worthwhile, not to mention that fans of the anime series will find it straight boring. It's clearly not the best game based on an anime/mange series outed by Bandai Namco and I don't see any potential for the franchise.

Ultimately, the choice of what to do with Seven Deadly Sins comes to down to one thing and it’s not really great. Are you a fan? If you are, I can almost guarantee you’re going to love this game. If you’re not a fan? There’s not really a whole lot going on to draw you in. A double-edged sword indeed.

I'd only recommend purchasing Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia to fans who already adore the world and just want to see more of their favorite characters. Otherwise, this game might feel a little lacking in substance.

It's a shame that Seven Deadly Sins first foray into videogames couldn't have been better. As a big fan I enjoyed the Knights of Britannia for what it is but most will find it mediocre at best.

The repetitiveness of the quests, the terrible management of the camera and the excessive imbalance of the tenzoni are sins that we can hardly forgive.

The Seven Deadly Sins is a fun anime franchise, and that sense of fun does translate to the game. It’s not a perfect game by any means, and has some genuinely aggravating elements, though, and that means it is going to be one that only fans of the franchise are going to enjoy.

Short, dull, and technically weak, The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia is a mediocre game, that will probably be appreciated only by the younger and more hardcore fans of the saga created by Nakaba Suzuki.

Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia is clearly a fan-product with lots of content from the manga but very little appeal in terms of videogaming. The worst drawback is the repetitive aspect of the game with chains fights and boring side quests.

There's a lot of variation in the singleplayer, but innovation in and of itself isn't enough to make or break a game. In the end, mediocre visuals, a difficult story and a severe lack of innovation turn The Seven Deadly Sins into a severe disappointment.

The game isn’t terrible by any means, with some fans of the show sure to enjoy reliving Elizabeth’s quest, but there is too much wasted potential here. If you don’t mind the obvious lack of depth here, you can have some fun playing the game, just don’t expect that fun to last.

In Seven Deadly Sins Knights of Britannia you will be fighting more with the combat system than against your opponents. It just doesn't work and that’s a pity, because Seven Deadly Sins stays close to its source material.

Even with an IP as interesting as The Seven Deadly Sins, The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia is held back by buggy controls and even more buggy mechanics.

Unfortunately The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia just doesn’t do justice to the series at all. There are a few hours of fun to be had here, certainly, but even dedicated fans will find that it doesn’t last long enough. Repetitive battles and shallow combat just don’t keep things interesting for long enough, even if there are several characters to use. Add a point to the score if you're a fan, remove one if you don't know what SDS is.

With such stellar source material, it’s a real shame that The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia is so disappointing. What could have been an exciting, funny, and rich game has turned out to be a dull experience, offering nothing to players but repetition with little challenge.

Surely a game that’s looking over at its anime stablemate green with envy, Knights of Britannia commits the sin of sloth, and ultimately lacks pride.

There's a tease of depth in the fights, and I even managed to have quite a bit of fun when things fell into place. Too often, however, it felt like accidental fun. Like I wanted to enjoy what I was playing so much, I stumbled into a good time.

Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia is a perfectly functional game, but those unfamiliar with the IP should probably watch or read the series instead — the lack of depth and content makes it hard to recommend to anyone except perhaps for the most hardcore of fans.

Long-time fans of Seven Deadly Sins might find some joy in seeing their favourite characters make the jump to a big, 3D action game, but that alone is hardly worth suffering through the rest of what this poor package has to offer.

For something thatAs a fan of the anime and of a generous amount of Bandai Namco games I was extremely disappointed with this hot mess. For something that should have been a simple translation of the anime into a game they had the entirety of the game bar the combat basically done for them and they fumbled it. The game drops you off randomly at the Boar Hat in with exposition of Elizabeth telling Meliodas about the coup, meanwhile neither the in-game model nor the portrait next to the text reflect anything but joy. You go from that to suddenly fighting soldiers and Twigl, all of which is done in pretty good PS2 graphics, with the combat of a terrible PS1 game. You can win by literally pushing the stick towards an enemy and press square, easy win, take no damage but the real insult is how clunky and stiff everything is, you can't attack and roll to avoid an attack, your essentially locked into the animation once you press a button and the only game that should have that within the last decade is Monster Hunter. And the fact your ally is a liability forced onto you as though it was a dreaded escort mission is further insulting and detracting to the combat, now don't get me wrong I love Hawk but if that bacon-boy gets obliterated into last nights meatloaf I don't want to be
the mashed potato on the side. You earn "Gossip" which blows my mind as to why I would care as the player about it when the anime gives you clear and really good reasons as to why they go places, not "This stink villager said this dank meme, lets check it out". When you can't even get a feeling for something as extremely basic as conveying the distress Elizabeth must be feeling not knowing if her father is dead, that her kingdom is in the hands of evil and powerful men you really relate or care at all for this character, that's not even to mention how it's instantly dropped on you and you have no idea what is really going on.

When there are so many examples of the type of combat that was represented in the anime that you could take inspiration from like Naruto games, dragonball games, Muso games, and you get a slow boring combat that makes Batman games look engaging it's time top drop that price real low, real quick. Had this game not been advertised as was I could forgive some aspects or throw it up as hype, but we were told to expect certain things, and then let down by what feels like an extremely rushed product in order to capitalize on the popularity of the anime. Had it been given another year to really smooth out the storytelling so you can relate to these characters and care at all, get that fast paced combat down and make if feel satisfying like the anime I can see the potential for an amazing game, but we're not paying $100 for potential, we're paying for a beta so people in a year from now get a cheap deal on a patched version of what MIGHT be a decent game.
