As a fan of the anime and of a generous amount of Bandai Namco games I was extremely disappointed with this hot mess. For something that should have been a simple translation of the anime into a game they had the entirety of the game bar the combat basically done for them and they fumbled it. The game drops you off randomly at the Boar Hat in with exposition of Elizabeth telling Meliodas about the coup, meanwhile neither the in-game model nor the portrait next to the text reflect anything but joy. You go from that to suddenly fighting soldiers and Twigl, all of which is done in pretty good PS2 graphics, with the combat of a terrible PS1 game. You can win by literally pushing the stick towards an enemy and press square, easy win, take no damage but the real insult is how clunky and stiff everything is, you can't attack and roll to avoid an attack, your essentially locked into the animation once you press a button and the only game that should have that within the last decade is Monster Hunter. And the fact your ally is a liability forced onto you as though it was a dreaded escort mission is further insulting and detracting to the combat, now don't get me wrong I love Hawk but if that bacon-boy gets obliterated into last nights meatloaf I don't want to be
the mashed potato on the side. You earn "Gossip" which blows my mind as to why I would care as the player about it when the anime gives you clear and really good reasons as to why they go places, not "This stink villager said this dank meme, lets check it out". When you can't even get a feeling for something as extremely basic as conveying the distress Elizabeth must be feeling not knowing if her father is dead, that her kingdom is in the hands of evil and powerful men you really relate or care at all for this character, that's not even to mention how it's instantly dropped on you and you have no idea what is really going on.

When there are so many examples of the type of combat that was represented in the anime that you could take inspiration from like Naruto games, dragonball games, Muso games, and you get a slow boring combat that makes Batman games look engaging it's time top drop that price real low, real quick. Had this game not been advertised as was I could forgive some aspects or throw it up as hype, but we were told to expect certain things, and then let down by what feels like an extremely rushed product in order to capitalize on the popularity of the anime. Had it been given another year to really smooth out the storytelling so you can relate to these characters and care at all, get that fast paced combat down and make if feel satisfying like the anime I can see the potential for an amazing game, but we're not paying $100 for potential, we're paying for a beta so people in a year from now get a cheap deal on a patched version of what MIGHT be a decent game.

Seven Deadly Sins is a great Anime and Manga. But has the game the same quality as the Anime? Is it funny, dramatic and cool? Yes, it is! Its quite funny and the graphics are good, they are not like in Monster Hunter World, but it appropriate for a game today. The fights are quite good. But I am a bit confused because it´s somewhere between a Warriors game and Naruto Storm. And i realySeven Deadly Sins is a great Anime and Manga. But has the game the same quality as the Anime? All in all is it good game and mostly recommended for fans of Seven Deadly Sins.

Good game, graphics are a bit disappointing and a lot of important scenes have been scrapped and are just mentioned in dialogue, but apart from that quite a good game, surprisingly most of the characters special attacks have been included, like dash slash and chastafoile (from KIng).

Gameplay was never the focus but some parts ruin the experience of the series. I must have missed the part in the series where 1/3 of the entire world is unable to run or move faster than a fodder enemy. I also must have missed the part where allies will teleport and stand in front of you preventing you from moving since you can't move through allies and they don't move out of your way. The animation is decent, but the expressionless faces of the characters goes a long way to detract from the overall experience. Combat is repetitive and quickly gets boring. Combat is repetitive and quickly gets boring. I literally spammed triangle (heavy strike) to win for the entirety of a match and then proceeded to do the same with spamming square (weak attack) and circle (ranged magic attack) for the rest of the matches I fought throughout the story mode. The story mode leads much to be desired due to the lack of character development within the game. As a huge fan of the series, I felt that the lack of development for any of the characters was underwhelming and leads to so very not funny moments in which Meliodas will act perverted towards Elizabeth but with nothing but dialogue, leaving anyone new to the series to likely scratch their heads as to what is even happening during these non-animated dialogue sequences. Even during animations, the faces of the characters express no emotions whatsoever so there are very few moments that feel pivotal or vital to the overall story due to this. I am utterly disappointed in this game because I thought it looked like it could be a decent fighter but from what I can tell it comes down to who can get behind the other player first (teleporting behind the opponent is as easy as holding R1 and pressing x, which consumes a portion of your magic gauge) and then proceeding to spam that until out of magic and then use your special moves with R1 and triangle, square or circle. Use your super move when your meter is full with R2 to do massive damage or in the case of Ban, to gain some sort of armor that prevents most damage? I'm not entirely sure what Ban's super even did, and unfortunately I didn't spend much more time on the game due to the overwhelming feeling of lack. I wanted to like this game but I just can't! Very fun game that is meant to be complementary to the anime. if you haven't watched the anime dont get this, but if you have this is a great edition to feel more connected to the series.

Graphically unequal between male and girls character. Stupid story mode, bad rpg mechanics, bad fighting mechanics, crappy lick systems, répetitive AF. Not even good for fans

Quite vanilla in terms of gameplay. It can be frustrating at times with the auto aim mechanics being pretty much broken. Worth the play if you're a fan of the anime, otherwise I can't recommend. The Naruto Ninja Storm games are better if you're looking for something in the genre.

Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia is a perfectly functional game, but those unfamiliar with the IP should probably watch or read the series instead — the lack of depth and content makes it hard to recommend to anyone except perhaps for the most hardcore of fans.

Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia is clearly a fan-product with lots of content from the manga but very little appeal in terms of videogaming. The worst drawback is the repetitive aspect of the game with chains fights and boring side quests.
