Oct 28, 2019This game is exactly what I hoped it would be. A real space RPG with a colorful cast and a wicked sense of humor. Gameplay is really enjoyable and it's easy to get lost in it for hours.

Oct 30, 2019I really want to see Obsidian go further. The Outer Worlds was a fantastic breath of fresh air. No microtransactions no nonsense. The writing was hilarious and the exploration was thrilling. The only gripe I have is that the combat was a little repetitive.

Nov 8, 2019For me, a former huge fan of the entire Fallout franchise, playing this game was nothing short of Obsydian showing Bugthesda their middle finger. A beautiful, rich game with a solid story line and a filling of freedom in decisions on how to finish it. I only wish it was longer and it had a build motive like we had in fallout 4

Oct 29, 2019Dont expect Fallout 3 or 4! The outer worlds started slow and the combat was clunky in my opinion and i was ready to throw in the towel at about 10 hours of play BUT i stuck with it and played more and now im in love. Great game folks. Definitely worth $60 for some great entertainment.

Nov 6, 2019It's a great game that takes all the lovable elements from fallout games and not fallout 76, thankfully so.

Oct 27, 2019One of the best games of this year. I really like the dialogue system and the pumping system in the game. There are small bugs and errors in localization, but this does not interfere with the game.

Oct 28, 2019A great start, but they really needed to implement the stuff that are also bad about Fallout? Also, there's a lot of silly quests, like, you speak to the NPC, then you go to the next room, read a document that is conviniently right there, go back and talk again to the NPC. Wow, mission acomplished! There are some graphical glitches, but in general it's a good game. Far from perfect, but fun.

Oct 30, 2019Hot damn this is great. A little repetitive if you are a grinder like me. i wish that there were some small changes like 3rd person perspective or keeping your gun holstered when talkin to folks but thats just me. If youre on XBL you can literally play this for like 2 dollars with the pass think fast
Edit: the pass will go back up to 14 a month take advantage -
Nov 2, 2019I thought a game couldn't be anymore up my street but it plays like a game from 2009 and looks so terrible 10 hours in I just can't be bothered to contiue

Oct 25, 201910/10 beats bethesda's current games by a mile (or ten). Oldschool but still refreshing.
-
Oct 29, 2019Нереально крутая игра, Obsidian, как всегда на высоте! Это вам не те самые.... Продолжайте в том же духе.

Oct 28, 2019Wow what a game!!! This is 10 times better than Bethesda's Fallout which is a load of rubbish!!

Oct 25, 2019One of the best RPGs to come out this generation. Fantastic game!
Lets hope Microsoft gives them the money to make big budget sequel.
(Take notes Bethesda how to make a rpg) -
Oct 25, 2019No words about this game, JUST PLAY. If you like RPG you won’t regret it, trust me

Oct 27, 2019Feels like a good Fallout 3d game. But it is too linear and just too short. Feels like you get rushed through the game halfway through.
Flow of the story feels like Dragon Age 2. Very linear but your companions regularly want you to revisit old places.
Paying 60$ for this game is too much. For the 1$ game pass it was a nice weekend distraction. But not the glorious comeback I expected -

Oct 26, 2019Good game. That's where Fallout Feeling comes in with a new design. I like it. But in the present time and the quite large German speaking market I would have liked a German Synchro. therefore I will not buy it but will only watch it as a last play.

Feb 3, 2020What probably best summarizes The Outer Worlds is that, in spite of my qualms with aspects of it, I still enjoyed my time playing it. It doesn’t overstay its welcome and by the fills a void that feels wider in the wake of many larger western studios losing interest in making dedicated RPG experiences. It’s not the kind of game to stand the test of time and Obsidian has made much better and more interesting games in the past, but there is a pleasant experience to be had. For those looking for that style of single-player RPG will find a lot to like and could do a lot worse.

Dec 5, 2019I can see that while I play, The Outer Worlds is everything needed and expected from a first-person RPG, one that can then be expanded on in the future, with innovative systems, original worlds, and unexpected characters - they now have a hub to fit into. The problem for players is: why play this game instead of waiting for the one that fully escapes the shadow of Fallout?

Dec 4, 2019The Outer Worlds is the Bethesda RPG you always wanted, but it's not made by Bethesda. This is one of the finest RPG experiences that let you take complete control of your storyline, and it's one hell of a ride.
