    This game is like the Game of Thrones of games. Don't play it, it will disturb your memories of the prequel. The game shows you inconsistent characters in a messed up story. The worst example of this is the sex scene - you will know which. I will never forgive the person who wrote this piece of rubbish.

The only good about this game are the graphics, animation and feel of gameplay but what made the frist game so great was the story which got totaly butchered in Part 2 joal gets killed like a total idiot and tommy also acts as if he never encountered any steanger gives away all information just like that which gets joel killed, and Ellie is turned to a completly psychopath in emo coating, joel taught elie bever to seek revenge and she litterly spits on everything she learnd from him.
    Not gonna lie Abbys part was and felt more human and in touch with the previous story than ellies part which is sad, ellies part litterly made me cheer for Abby, ellie was just annoying and over all the game goes so much into griddyness that it is not real enjoyable to play after a few hours as ellie which is the first time i felt like that playing a video game, this could have been executed much better with a much better outcome but no it also just showed how rigged rating systems are and awards.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. El juego es una oda a las historias de accion, drama y suspense. Se trata en pocas palabras del mejor videojuego de Ps4. Esto se apoya en un arco argumental de personajes absolutamente brillante, unos graficos que estan tres escalones por encima de todo lo visto hasta el momento, una narrativa tanto a nivel de dialogos como a nivel visual que es merecedora de todo y más. Es curioso que mucha gente se ofenda por haber matado a un asesino a la hora de videojuego, porque si, Joel no es más que otro asesino, y te das cuenta que no hay blanco o hay negro, no todo es radical, también hay gris y la gran mayoria de personajes de este juego son grises que lo unicamente que tienen claro es su lucha por sobrevivir.
    Es increibe el arco de crecimiento de las dos protagonistas, girando todo entorno a la muerte de Joel. Abby cierra su circulo de venganza, ya que Joel mata a su padre. A su vez, Ellie comienza ese mismo circulo que acaba de terminar Abby y se ven envueltas en una historia increible y que muy dificilmente se podrá ver superada en los próximos años.
    El videojuego es un perfecto broche final para esta gran generacion de consolas y sin duda se consolida como la perfecta obra maestra de Play Station 4    … Expand

    The refined gameplay is excellent and the voice acting/ cutscenes were great! I think this game is really well made, however some of the story is a little too dark/ depressing.

You should only listen to the user reviews and not the paid metascore users who gives it 10/10 just because they got paid to do it. My final review 0/10.     В нём крутой сюжет, цепляющий благодаря осознания того, что надо рассматривать любую ситуацию с двух или более сторон, что надо задумываться, а нужна ли мне эта месть, пойдёт что-нибудь в лучшую сторону? Также в этой игре хороша анимация, графика, которую я запомню на всю жизнь, озвучка в оригинале очень хороша, кроме русской    я считаю этой игрой одной из лучших, которые выходили на ps4

The new jump mechanic is awkward and doesn’t add anything valuable. Naughty dog did not do a good job. The writing team should be ashamed. Killing the main character that was beloved by the fanbase is just like shooting yourself in the foot. Why did the game developers think this was a good idea. The new characters are not interesting and don't give any value to the game. By the end of the game you just feel lost and sad. I truly wish that they had scrapped they whole story and had done something complete different. The gameplay and the graphics are the only things that make this game worthwhile to play.… Expand

    - Un apartado técnico BESTIAL. - Jugabilidad increíble. - Banda sonora de otro mundo, Gustavo Santaolalla es un gran compositor. - Un mundo completamente inmmersivo. Lo negativo: - Una narrativa desastrosa, fácilmente de las peores que se han visto en los videojuegos.     Lo positivo:

    - Jugabilidad increíble.

    Lo negativo:
    - Una narrativa desastrosa, fácilmente de las peores que se han visto en los videojuegos. Una narrativa que se base en interrumpir los momentos climax no es buena, es un completo desastre.
    - Guion conveniente.
    - Personajes mal construidos, incoherentes y completamente cambiados.
    - Personajes secundarios sin relevancia alguna.
    - Una trama pretenciosa a mas no poder.
    - Un ritmo exagerado, pudo haberse resumido mucho mas.
    - Completamente repetitivo. A diferencia de su primera entrega no sabe dividir bien sus segmentos, piensa que todo se traduce en "mata a estos supervivientes", "ahora mata a estos infectados".
    - La inteligencia artificial sigue siendo igual de penosa que en el primer juego.
    - A Neil Druckman se le olvido la importancia de la puesta en escena.
    - Los segmentos jugables con Abby son completamente olvidables.
    - El final es simplemente una gran incoherencia, a pesar de lo emotivo que resulta ver la pelea de Ellie y Abby.

Just got past the golf mission, if you played the game or saw the spoilers you know exactly what am talking about, it felt sooo cheap the way that that sh*t happened, it's like they wanted to get rid of Joel! 7 years in the making and that what the writers came up with? Very embarrassing and disappointing! not like that you kill a very dear character to your fans' hearts just so the story continues and Ellie goes on a revenge mission.
    Bottom line the story (so far) feels cheap and just simply bad.
    (rating & my opinion is subjected to change after i finish the game)

    I usually play just multiplayer competitive games, but holy **** this game made me cry, i'll be honest this is the best story driven game i've ever played.
    Graphics 10/10 i don't even know how a ps4 could run it but it does.
    Gameplay 8/10 its just perfect but its "flat"
    Storyline 9/10 its called "part 2" so play the first chapter first then you can appreciate this one.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last of Us Part 2 is a story that attempts to say many things, yet ultimately fails to cohesively convey everything it wishes to say. There are elements that feel forced, and there are some unlikable and often forgettable characters. The game will make you feel uncomfortably powerful and powerless.
    Before I begin on the story, let me first say whatever positives I have regarding this game. Those can be broken down into three categories. Gameplay, visuals, and accessibility. After this, I will talk regarding story.

    Visuals
    TLOU2 is perhaps one of the most photorealistic games in recent memory. I had just come off of playing Death Stranding prior to playing this game. The beautiful yet horrifying and occasionally grotesque set pieces within this title were clearly crafted with love. Naughty Dog has taken the world that they originally conveyed on PS3 and utilized the technology of the modern age to create vivid imagery. I myself love when a pretty game comes out that shows what hardware can truly push. The Last of Us has a uniquely apocalyptic while still grounded art design and it is beautifully showcased. Seattle is the main set piece and the depressing, overcast, and dreary atmosphere permeate this game perfectly. The characters we see are often detailed down to pores. The environments feel simultaneously dead and alive as if they were made to fill the player with dread while still having their own beauty. The infected areas made my skin crawl with their dusty, overgrown, and eerie design. Additionally, the glass breaking mechanics were a small detail that was overexploited by myself for simple satisfaction. Areas to climb, walk through, or squeeze through were made obvious, in a way where it was mentally recognizable without having necessary visual indication. Overall, the visuals Naughty Dog within TLOU2 were top tier.

    Gameplay
    The gameplay of TLOU2 was in classic Naughty Dog fashion to their previous games. This time however, many of these mechanics felt refined, more responsive, and were fun to use. The key word here is "felt". These mechanics felt familiar to their predecessors, but somehow also felt like they were somewhat snappier, had a little less delay once input, and all movement felt smoother. Naughty Dog has a realistic approach to actions made by the characters as well. Unlike popular action games such as Call of Duty, you cannot simply make 5 actions happen in a split second. This allows players to take a slower and more methodical approach to combat within these games. I would be remised if I did not talk about infected encounters as well. These encounters feel more weighty in this game with the new dodge mechanic. This dodge mechanic adds a new level of savagery to the combat and, more specifically, to the enemies. The infected feel heavier and more ferocious with the player having to be less careless and pay more attention to everything the opponent does. It turns melee combat into more of a dance. Finally, the puzzle mechanics such as power, ropes, and safes are all powerful but sometimes tedious. In summary, the gameplay of TLOU2 feels tighter, more deadly, and consequential, which are all powerful in a game like this.

    Accessibility
    Gaming is for everyone. That is the sentiment that much of the industry shares and it shines brightly in TLOU2. Once the game first boots up, it takes you through an in-depth list of options to make this game as accessible as it possibly can be for all who decide to play. I wish to see this in more titles from all developers. I enjoyed the auto pickup mechanic as I believe my triangle button may have given out after playing through this title otherwise. When everyone can play a game, everyone wins.

    Story
    I had not played The Last of Us until before I played this title. The end of the first title ending with Joel's lie left me with a feeling as if there was more to explore. The opening of TLOU2 gave me the best closure for the end of the first title. In contrast, the story of TLOU2 left me with more closure at the end than the first title with Ellie walking into the distance defeated. The story of TLOU2 is polarizing to say the least. I found myself feeling as though this was a multiple choice story but only had one option for me to follow with the linear story. I found my morals and emotions challenged. However, like Seattle, storms loomed too. Characters such as Isaac, Mel, Jesse, Tommy, and Owen all felt underused to me. The LGBTQ+ elements of this story felt forced in the case of Ellie and Dina, who I did not sense a deep connection between. The elements of Lev being trans and forced out of the religious cult that he is a part of feel like a political message. The story left me feeling hollow, yet indifferent. Desolate is the descriptor for my experience. The Last of Us Part 2 is a game that will have you go through many emotions, trials, and moral-challenging situations. You are going to HATE this game. Usually in a "sequel" built off of main characters, you keep typically expand upon what u already got to know and love about each main character, in this garbage. You instead have to face the fact that the company wanted to try something they thought was fresh. Which instead ends up being a complete slap in the face of the original intention. I went into this expecting to have to shocking moments, yes. But not completely killing off both main characters to try pushing some alt-narrative in order to try appealing to a larger fan bases while at the same time telling actual fans to go kick rocks is absurd. Who does that? Not even terrible C rated movies do your main ppl like that. While this on the other hands feels like the developers thought that ruining the legacy of both Ellie and Joel and making it some lame gender neutral twist as something the majority could relate to is beyond words. What kind of b.s PR do they have? Who is ever going to take them seriously again. Like idk about you but I was invested in Ellie and Joel after the first game. So why the F would they decide to end thier stories so abruptly and give no credence to thier potential arch. While now you HAVE to like Abby as she will end up being the next character in tlou 3. Yet no one actually liked her to begin with! Hell she's the c*** who killed joel in the first place, why would you make a game to follow her steps? Do you think The Lord of The Rings would of been the same if JRR Tolkien killed off Frodo, Aragon, and Gandalf in the begining of the 2nd film? Absolutely not! The Main characters you got to love in the 1st are what makes the rest. While yes adding some new ones can enhance the overall depth but you simply can't rely on a 3rd installment having nothing to do with the main characters but instead some PR b.s. that holds no depth or care to its audience or the story that was originally supposed to be told. Because if you wanted to created a zombie game with different characters, name it something else. F*** this game, and the next one. Save your money,. Also P.S character interactions in this game do not represent how real life is actually structured.

    Je lui mets un 10car pour moi s'est une pépite, la narration te prends de court et t'embarquer dans un voyage où la vengeance et le pardon seront les maître mots de ce jeu.

    Graphiquement impressionnant, améliorant le gameplay du premier épisode, une durée de vie de 30 heures, ce jeu mérite son goty.

    Deux **** points faibles : on est pas Joël et il manque le multi.

After playing this game several time I kinda see Abby mirrors Elie in lots of ways and by the end it’s not Elie’s story but Abby’s. I know it’s far fetch but there is more character development for Abby’s side than Elie’s. (Quick note: the boat which is at the loading screen is Abby’s boat!)

    I wasn't the biggest fan of the first game, however this sequel blew me away. Don't waste your time listening to the 0/10s or 1/10s. This game is not perfect, but give it a shot before coming here and reviewing the game. Other than Red Dead 2, I have never such triple A story telling in a video game where the edits and writing are way better than most Hollywood movies out there.

I’m giving it 4 points because the gameplay is still the great gameplay that you enjoyed in TLOU 1, but folks, the story is really, really bad. It’s dark, depressing, joyless, and constantly violent without any redeeming qualities whatsoever. The game forces you to make downright evil decisions, and then shames you for it. In addition, the ending (without giving anything away) doesn’t resolve any of the burning questions I had when playing the game. That’s a critical element for a linear game with no multiplayer, and not even side quests.

    The game is very good not as good as the first but it is still a ten only problem i had was the pacing other than that very good game.

    Incredible journey of a game. Emotional, painful, spectacular. I couldn't bear it at times and yet I couldn't turn away. It haunts me months later, and I can't wait to play again (just have to get over my first run through ;)).The developers should be proud that bigots hate it--it always means you're doing something right.

    Fun factor - well, it’s not fun, but story carries on.
    For now I finished it only 1 time, but I bought it only on 21st of January, and I’m going to try to get plat in it.

    So, I started to play this game, and when I saw Joel dying I was really frightened, than crying Ellie, and than she took his watch with revolver and that just killed me. Until the next day I was thinking only about TLOU2. When I finished the game I was disappointed for a while. Why hasn’t Ellie killed her? But than I realised that Ellie realised that she became a monster. After a few days I realised that Neil Druckmann is genius! I surely recommend you to finish this game    … Expand

    Great game with atmospheric environments, characters, music and story. I am a big fan of the first part and was pleased with the passage of the second part. All aggression against this game, I think is pointless. This game evokes exactly those emotions that the author laid in the work.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Sincerely, when you start the Last of Us 1, and watch trough Joe's story, the death of his daughter. The pain he had to endure, but then hope and destony knocked at his door, he had the opportunity to love and raise a new daughter , you fight fore her you teach her, you train her so she can survive in a difficult world, as a father, is such a powerful story. Definitely Joel would sacrifice all humanity just to save those precious feelings, just to save that single soul. Such a powerful message. I had been waiting for a sequel for so long, where I finally see Elie, find happiness, where she could have love and care, understanding , to find a family and start a new life away form the horrors of an apocalyptic world. Maybe with Joel as a father or as a friend. All the Hope's I had were simply crushed. Ellie is not nice, she is bitter, cynical and stupidly rebellious just like an annoying teenager who doesn't get what she is into. Very different from the self aware kid she was when she was younger, she is, by imposition, a lesser version of herself very emotionally dependant. Which is very contradictory to her abilities. Joel, who sacrificed humanity for her is just a bad memory, non important. The story concentrates in selling a Walking dead approach of multiple characters stories, but forget to be strong in the main ine. By weakening the main' storyline the only achieve shallowness. The lesbian relationship is so shallow and imposed, with no real motivation that just falls in annoying. The game play? Just doesn't Add anything new. But with more humans with different ways to be killed, which can be totally ignored if you just play your way through. You will be looking for materials and throwing Rick's, bottles and so in just as in the first game. And pressing the command to listen just as Joel and Ellie did in the first game. I dont really care about gameplay for this game, if only Ellie would have had the chance to have a good resolution or grownth as a character. This is just disheartening, sad, for all the fans who loved the first story, to see Ellie turned into an expression of what media wants: an enraged confused teenager who is mad about society..My advice? Buy the game when it gets to 20 dollars maybe in two months.… Expand

    Story was completely all over the place... they wanted it to be this compelling saga like the first but it was just a bunch of cliches and dialed in characters... they ripped off Glenn from the walking dead so bad with “Jesse”... no amount of time jumps can save the story, there really wasn’t one... I jus witnessed the sex scene and now I’m questioning whether or not I want to finish it...Story was completely all over the place... they wanted it to be this compelling saga like the first but it was just a bunch of cliches and dialed in characters... they ripped off Glenn from the walking dead so bad with “Jesse”... no amount of time jumps can save the story, there really wasn’t one... I can understand the frustration of some players, and the game asks a lot of you, to trust the decisions of the game's creators. If you do that I think you'll see the true intentions of this game and walk away astounded as I was. I love this games story. this is a game about empathy, forgiveness, perspective, redemption and reconciliation wrapped and disguised as revenge story that demonstrates the nature of hatred and the cycle of violence up close and personal through the characters eyes and by their hands. its not pretty. Its grotesque, horrific and brutal. The gameplay translates this flawlessly. every combat encounter is white knuckled, because every gunshot and throat stab has a level of detail that is beyond any other game I've played. the controls, animations, gunplay, stealth and melee combat are polished to the highest degree. the way shootouts can transition into brutal slugfests and how you can find yourself jumping back into stealth is so seamless and so natural that I not only find it to be really fun, but one of the most immersive gameplay experiences ever when you include the incredible visuals and level design, character performances great writing and world building. There were moments I was left in tears from sadness, despair, anger and even joy. I cant stress enough how brilliantly this game comes together, but I am shocked to see how many people have pushed against it. In a way it's kind of fitting. I get where people are coming from. Instead of trying to understand each other we are too often irrational and see ourselves as the good guys. but we are all a bad guy in someone else's story to some extent, I'm sure its something most of us are already aware of but don't consider it often enough. this game asks us to consider that, when you shoot down an enemy and hear their friend cry out their name, or are deep in a story moment that frustrates you because its not what you wanted, try to understand why instead of thinking about yourself, because its not about us vs. them, its about all of us and in this fictional case it may very well be the last of us.

    for real though this game is incredible, but I get why some people don't care for it. I think the most interesting games and movies are the ones that are a bit divisive as well. I'd give like a 96 if I could review it like the critics. very small things that keep it from a perfect 10 for me.    … Expand

Let me first start off by saying this has nothing to do with the LGBTQ community since I did not mind/care about the same sex relationship or the transgender references/characters. What I did care about was the fact that the story just felt like nothing to me. From the beginning, once they announced a second game, I had a feeling Joel was going to die. It made sense, he had been around in the apocalypse for a long ass time, it was bound to happen eventually. Its important to be able to lose characters that you grow with, especially when it has the opportunity to pull out strong emotions from the audience. But this... This.. This was just too much. The fact that Joel gets smashed within the first few moments of the game was something, but the real issue I had with it was that he didnt get any honor to his death. No "I love you Ellie" or goodbyes, or anything. He is just gone, and after playing through him in the last game, growing with him over 7 years, and seeing him as the father figure he is. The developers felt it was okay to say bye bye. Which is just wrong.

    As for Abby, I have not hated a character more than her. I think they could have done some good things with her, but the fact that I had to play as her for 10-15 hours of my gameplay, going through a story that I did not care about at all, and meeting characters I counted give a **** about and kind of wanted to kill right there, did not sit well with me. From the few times I would die as Abby, I laughed, because I cared that little for her character. I did not care for any of the main cast in her storyline, I did not care for the Scar children, and therefore as they all started to drop out one-by-one, I felt nothing. Nothing registered as they were killed because I did not feel anything towards the characters. The whole point of it was so that we can attempt to have some understanding and acceptance towards Abby, but that never came for me. (I'm not angry at her for killing Joel, just an f.y.i, like I said, him dying was not a bad part of the game)

    Oh and don't get me started about Jessie's death. They just had to get him out of there to make it easier for Dina and Ellie to be together so he wouldn't be around with the baby. Removing a great character like that who is a strong character supporting the Asian community was just a rude idea. Laziest story writing ever.

    All in all, this was a beautiful game. Design was 10/10, Gameplay itself was 10/10. It was the story and the characters which are the things that fell flat for me, and that is the biggest part of becoming attached to a game. You can make it look as pretty as you want, but you need more than graphics.    … Expand

    What makes her a good character is the fact that she tries to seek closure for the death of her father through having compassion for the scars, who were once her enemies, Abby continued to have nightmares until the point where she decided to go back for the scars(Lev and Yara).

    It was at this point where she stopped having nightmares, and had one dream where she saw her father being happy.
    This correlates to the closure Ellie had in relation to Joel's death by showing mercy to Abby, seeing a happy, healthy Joel sitting down. Abby being good to the scars and helping them, especially at the end when she was carrying Lev to the boat correlates to the previous game where Joel was carrying Ellie out of the hospital, where they were about to kill her for the cure. Ellie giving Lev and Abby a chance to live was just a way of naughty dog showing us that the legacy of Joel and Ellie in some way is mirrored through Abby and Lev. So imo think Abby was a very important character and helped us to see the bigger picture.
    Most people just can't get over the fact that Joel died. Hence slander the story without giving it a very very very in depth look. Tlou1 is a story with happiness on the surface with grief, sadness and a lot of questions underneath While,
    Tlou 2 is a story with misery on the surface but peace, redemption and freedom underneath. Please look at the story with a different lens, not just with the "why did they kill Joel" lens
    People just wanted revenge, but TLOU2 is more than that. It teaches the player that peace can be found, and forgiveness is tho only way through which one can find peace.
    Ellie was going through PTSD, so was Abby.
    It was only through forgiveness that both of them were able to at least find the door that leads to their peace.
    There's no objectively good or bad guy in the game, but everyone in the game, at some point does good or bad things and the story writing in this game exhibited that perfectly!
    Looking at things critically, Joel wasn't a 'good' person.
    He was a selfish man, who killed an innocent doctor who could have found the cure to a disease.
    Joel's actions basically rippled through and led to everything happening in TLOU 2 Joel tried to seek closure for her daughter's death through Ellie, and through that, ended up making selfish decisions which in Ellie's own words, prevented her life from meaning something.

    TLOU 2 took a very ambitious and bold step that you rarely or never find in gaming. Naughty didn't want a cliche where Joel died in the arms of Ellie while saying his last, well coordinated words.
    Naughty dog made the game unpredictable.

    And this is why you should actually play TLOU2.    … Expand

    Hablar de TLoU2, tiene para rato; pues no estamos hablando de un juego típico del mercado, sino de uno donde deja atrás los estereotipos y los clichés que las empresas recurren para que el público sea mas amplio y se identifiquen. Naughty Dog sabía de las consecuencias de esta arriesgada decisión, hacer un juego donde tenga tanta libertad creativa del director y el guionista, tendría que repercutir en el pensar de una comunidad con una mentalidad, desgraciadamente, tan desfasada como la que tiene el mundo de los videojuegos.

    Tlou2 destaca en cada aspecto por el cual se mide la calidad de un título: grandísimo soundtrack; un gameplay pulido donde cada animación se ve completamente natural: unos efectos de sonido de calidad; actuación de voz y de movimiento, impecable. Y aquí es donde se entra al punto polémico, la historia.

    Yo soy un jugador de Final Fantasy, una saga que se le reconoce por sus grandísimas historias tan bien logradas narrativamente; no obstante, los títulos más queridos (VI, VII, IX y X), carecen de un aspecto que TLoU2 logró impresionantemente, la ambigüedad; no hay personajes buenos ni malos, todos los personajes tienen un desarrollo increíble emocionalmente, todo esto se refleja en sus acciones. Llegas a un punto donde no sabes si estas haciendo lo correcto, no sabes ni siquiera que es lo "correcto" en esa situación. Es por esa ambigüedad que, irónicamente, dividió a los jugadores; un gran sector conservador de las historias típicas fueron los que no pudieron apreciar este título.

    En conclusión, es un grandioso título MUY adelantado a su época para la comunidad de videojugadores, no tengo duda en que en un futuro se le reconocerá aún más. La comunidad de cine sabe apreciar las buenas historias fuera de los estereotipos, espero que ese contexto llegue pronto a nuestra comunidad.    … Expand

    Вся игра это одна большая пропаганда "правильных" ценностей: вместо того чтобы писать адекватный сценарий, сценаристы стали опираться на некое "искупление" второго персонажа и моральное разложение первого. В истории вроде как должна быть какая-то идея о прощении, но лично мне кажется сам сценарист до конца не понял что сам написал, ибо столько нелогичных ситуаций и картонных персонажей я давно не видел.

    И на самом деле обидно: все силы были потрачены на техническую сторону игры: все эти анимации оружия, кровь, кишки, трансформеры и голые сиськи Эбби - это совсем не то чего просили фанаты первой части. Картинка конечно симпатичная, но по технической составляющей очень далека от того же Red Dead Redemption 2, а от последнего Uncharted 2016 года недалеко ушла. Второй части в идеале в принципе быть не должно - история первой имела своё логичное завершение, да и геймплей с 2013 года не шибко изменился.

    Здесь в принципе даже близко ничего революционного и интересного нет: большую часть игры мы проводим в лесу, болотах и как правило в одиночестве. Несмотря на свою продолжительность персонажи никак не раскрываются, да чего уж там, Тесс, которая была пару часов из первой части была раскрыта лучше чем ЛЮБОЙ новый персонаж второй.

    И что имеем в итоге? Бездарный сюжет, унылые персонажи и чернушная чернуха с "правильным" подтекстом. Все эти 10/10 и сотни наград от критиков - всё это фальшь не имеющая ничего общего с реальностью.    … Expand

    Parts of this game are a 10/10 and fantastic. Parts of this game are a 0/10 and an unbearable chore. They made horrific decisions and they ruin the experience of the game. Fortunately, the ability to use the accessibility options to make the unbearable 10 hours a bit easier salvaged parts of the experience.

    Considero que sin duda es un juegazo, a pesar que no me gustó la historia creo que mereció el GOTY y es 100% recomendado, si bien no lo considero mejor que la primera parte, la supera considerablemente en casi todo, pero comprendo que a muchas personas no les haya gustado el juego.

    This game is the most emotional I've ever played. I've never experienced something similar before. After I reached the end of the story, I couldn't even sleep because of all the thought I had in my mind.
    The story is not fun. At all. It's very hard and painful to watch. But it's incredibly well written and shown. It was a crazy experience, like if something terrible was happening, if someone you love destroy himself, and you couldn't do anything about it.
    I did not like this story, because it caused me pain and sadness. But it's the reason why it's a great story : it bring you to intense reflexion, and that's a point of fiction.
    So indeed the game is not fun, it's not a game to relax : it's a game to experience intense (bad) emotions. You will not have a good time playing it, but you'll get out of it stronger.

    So that's about the story, but the scenario is one single part of gaming.
    This game is technically incredibly beautiful. It's not perfect, I experienced a few bugs (even one which forced me to reload the game) (I mean a few, like 3 or 4 in 30 hours) which ruined the immersion. But apart from this, graphics are insane for a PS4 game. The feeling of guns are also very good, you really feel like to shoot with a powerful thing.
    But (and that's why I gave 9 to this game and not 10) the game is too long for its story : some scenes are unnecessarily long, with lots of buildings to explore which all look the same, or some ennemies in places in which it makes no sense. Sometimes I felt a bit bored, I was like "ok I understand the thing, now move on please". Also, the gameplay diversity is very poor. It's basically explore, find stuff and fight, over and again.

    To be short : the game is incredible, very heartbreaking, but quite too long and repetitive.

    If you didn't enjoy the game, you simply are an average homophobic / male chauvinist.

    Excelente story, a lot of characters, more gore, better gameplay that its predecessor. When a character dies, dies, nothing of cliche deaths.

    The story with Abby is awesome, you can properly connect with the character and understhand she.

    10/10 masterpiece.

    That makes me very self-conscious when doing an analysis without spoiling. For this reason, I recommend reading, after the game is over, my review with spoilers to understand my point of view about this game.

    As in the first installment, despite being excellent in the audiovisual section, none of its elements represent a revolution or the discovery of gunpowder. Only the story, specifically the way it is told and developed, deserves a separate mention.

    Similarly, what makes it special is the harmonious conjunction of a series of symphonic elements executed with exquisite perfection.

    The Last of us Part II is a cruel and uncomfortable journey full of mixed feelings. It was not the sequel that maybe we expected. But it is the sequel we needed.

    It is an essential title for lovers of the genre and for those seeking courage and something different in the way of posing and developing a narrative. It is a cruel, crude, wild game and, above all, complex in existential terms.

    It is simply a MASTERPIECE.

    The Last of Us Parte II ha sido el juego más esperado de la generación por los usuarios de PlayStation 4. Y una cosa es segura, se trata de un título que no ha dejado, ni dejará, indiferente a nadie. Como he mencionado al principio, no es un juego fácil de analizar.

    Eso me cohibe mucho a la hora de realizar un análisis sin hacer spoilers. Por ese motivo, recomiendo leer, una vez acabado el juego, mi análisis con spoilers para entender mi punto de vista sobre este juego.

    Como en la primera entrega, pese a ser excelente en el apartado audiovisual, ninguno de sus elementos supone una revolución ni el descubrimiento de la pólvora. Sólo la historia, en concreto la manera en que se cuenta y desarrolla, merece mención aparte.

    Del mismo modo, lo que lo hace especial es la conjunción en harmonía de una serie de elementos sinfónicos ejecutados con una perfección exquisita.

    The Last of us Parte II es un cruel e incómodo viaje lleno de sentimientos encontrados. No ha sido la secuela que, quizás, esperábamos. Pero es la secuela que necesitábamos.

    Es un título imprescindible para los amantes del género y para los que busquen valentía y algo diferente en la manera de plantear y desarrollar una narrativa. Es un juego cruel, crudo, salvaje y, sobretodo, complejo en términos existenciales.

    El juego técnicamente es muy bueno, pero le falla la historia de forma brutal. Cuando lo acabé me pregunte si había valido la pela dedicar 22 horas por una historia así que no llevaba a ninguna parte. En muchos momentos acababa con mal cuerpo por lo deprimente que me resultaba. Si llega a ser una película, la dejo a medias.

No character feels the same and all of them feel oddly parodic of how they'd usually be, the new characters fail to be interesting and provide zero incentive to push a plot ahead such as Abby defecting with a person she's barely shared enough time with to discard the feelings she has for those she spent years with, all of the WLF are very one sided and exist to be discarded while providing little to no substance and Ellie just seems out of character and like she's written by someone who has little knowledge on how she is, which funnily enough isn't the case. The combat fails to be innovative and feels like it's been plucked from the first game and the story has a lot of monotonous points as well as cheapest transitions I've seen in writing (e.g. Time skips to avoid telling a story) and ultimately misses the mark with the moral the story tries to tell when never once is the motive of revenge questioned.

    TLOU should have never had a sequel and remained as a standalone game.    … Expand

    Gameplay 7.5/10 (why? becase its only a more refined version of the original thing, it doesn't evolve)

    Story 2/10 (Do i really have to have an explanation?, just play it and you'll know, you feel betrayed by the devs, by the game, by even Ellie and Joel, you just feel bad overall, they spit on beloved characters, Abby doesn't lose anything, but Ellie lose EVERYTHING, friends, her father figure (Joel) and lovers.... and Abby just walks out unscratched... i mean yeah she lost her father, but you can't compare 1 person to dozens that Ellie lose because of Abby

    IA 7/10 (sometimes is wanky but overall good?)

    Even if the game is an overall 6.5-7/10 i wouldn't recommend this to anyone, only if you are a masochist or like to read NTR **** or those kind of things, only if you like to feel bad about yourself
    I'm giving it a well deserved (for me, obviously this is a personal opinion) 4, the game has amazing things (listed above) but those doesn't matter if you fail to tell the story, so that's why, don't play it, just watch gameplays    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
