    I give it an 8/10 because of the gameplay, graphics and sometimes the story is good,but not the ending and flashbacks. It doesnt deserve a 0,if you have played you know it,but neither a 10 that professional critic gives it.

    don't listen do the idiotic reviewers, they're obviously paid by naughty dog for this game to get "universal acclaim". This game is **** in every category possible: it has trash gameplay, absolutely terrible story, trash graphics that aged like **** except **** probably ages better, it suffers heavily from uncanny valley, trash music, don't support greedy naughty dog by playing this game,don't listen do the idiotic reviewers, they're obviously paid by naughty dog for this game to get "universal acclaim".     Everyone who sets 0 or 3 point, this people just never played this game even not saw walkthrough. So just play and you’ll understand that it’s a great game. And yeah Ellie has been a lesbian since 2013 when even all of this don’t starting yet.

    Whoever disses this game is just **** because there favourite characters died, the story is extremely complex with many characters perspective which you would never think about having extreme consequences which end up making me care about the characters this adds layers to the story and being left into a wow state after playtime. The gameplay is extremely intense which makes you think about every single encounter and how to get the best result, playing this game on hard or above really increases your immersion into the world and makes you extremely focused on the task. Sometimes this becomes extremely noteworthy as foe and foe keep appearing, defeating them makes you feel like you can breathe again until you come across another around a corner. The score contributes to this immersion with the sound effects of you getting caught upping the risk and once again thinking about how you encounter everything. Only things I don’t like about this game is some of the character interactions with Ellie and Dina being extremely forced and someone times the story makes turns when someone is about to climax which makes me feel disappointed like **** I just want to see what happens but no now I have to do all this other **** Anyways great game great story and **** the haters… Expand

    My score of 10 is a protest against all the ones and zeroes given by clueless people that don't know how proper rating is done. Just because your favourite character was killed you rate it 0? Seriously? I would actually rate this game at 7 or 8. Joel is not a hero as many seem to think. He went against Ellies will to create a cure for the humanity. He doomed the whole civilization to live with this horrible infection. He killed so many people in his way for his own selfish reasons.

    The bad

    The story is of course the main disapointment. It seems too stretched, especially at the end. It wen't quite well actually until the game started switching from Ellie to Abby and different timelines. It was very confusing and hard to follow. Ellies part was quite good mostly but I think that Joel's death shouldn't be at the beginning of the game. Abby's part felt especially full of unnecessarily slow gameplay (if you can call walking around a gameplay).

    The good

    I played on hard difficulty and the game seemed balaced. The resources were scarse but I always had just enough to get me through different situations. AI seemed quite clever as well. Constantly flanking and without obvious patrolling patterns forcing you to move around and look for ways to use the environment to your advantage.

    Same as part one, guns feel heavy and powerful but my favourite is close combat. Can't think of any other game that does it so well. Every hit feels heavy and bone breaking. Different kill scenes depending from the environment is a cherry on top.

    Graphics are great. I played PS5's improved version but even on the good old PS4 it looks amazing. It honestly looks like magic to make a severly outdated PS4 hardware draw such beautiful high fidelity scenes. Attention to detail of the world and random small talk as you explore comes as a final polish. Technically the game feels finished. I didn't encounter a single bug during my two playthroughs. Unfortunately this seems quite rare in todays market to release a game without a regular patches afterwards that are meant to fix the game breaking bugs.

    Conclusion

    TLOU suffers mostly from the success of it's previous part and extremely high expectations of gamers. Of course many story related developer decisions raise questions however other aspects of the game were executed very well.

    Most disappointing sequels to one the most beloved games of the last decade. Despite the wonderful performances by Ashley Johnson, Troy Baker, and others, amazing graphics, mesmerizing game-play and world, all this can't save the game from the fundamental flaws of the story and writing.

    Aquí tenemos una obra maestra, 10/10. Historia, gráficos, doblaje, banda sonora, efectos de sonido... todo en este juego es absolutamente perfecto. Incluso tomando giros de guión tan arriesgados han conseguido firmar una auténtica obra maestra.

    I loved this game so freaking much! Honestly, I was not expecting such an interesting story and amazing plots... TLOU2 was a surprise for me, and I had a great time knowing the new characters and playing with Abby.

    Seriously, don't mind with the haters, they're just a bunch of weebs. TLOU2 is a masterpiece, such as the first game was.

    You think you will continue with joel or elly right ? Nope. You ll play half of the game one of the villian characters. You never understand why the story is detoriated like this. L2 is 10/10 first 2_3 hours but when the main character change it is meaningless to play. Dont waste yor money for 3 hourzs game

    Absolute phenomenal, masterpiece, superb story. Insanely good play on emotions.
    From anger to love, from hate to heartbreak and tears. Everyone who criticised this game and rated it 1 for Lgbt topics should think twice about their existence because i found one MOMENT when I thought "oh right... I get it... enough". But it didn't affected a whole story...

    Masterpiece!!! 11/10

    I really wanted to like this game. It looks gorgeous, and sounds incredible (much better than original). There is a strong female character which is a positive for me, since I prefer to play as female if game offers the choice. However the game is heavily scripted and feels one-dimensional. There is very little meaningful character development, and story is dull. There is too much focus on scavenging and entering pin codes which needs to be obtained by reading the notes. The first game was essentially a survival combat, but second is all about meaningless scavenging for supplies. I wonder if some people complained about too much violence in the first game so they replaced it with scripted dialog and item pickups. The whole game is about walking along heavily decorated 1D corridor, picking up notes and ammo with occasional shooting and simple platforming. The game map is basically a 1D corridor. Everything is fully scripted, there is almost no need to touch a controller (unless the game needs you to enter to pin code) - it is like watching a movie. The game has more pin code doors and lock boxes than actual enemies. Part 1 was incredible, but part 2 feels like a big let down. I am very disappointed, it could have been so much better. I played all uncharted games (and last of us part 1)- this is the worst game this developer produced. They wasted time of their games developers and players.     The biggest beef I have with this game is that it is boring in places to play , I didn’t mind playing as Abby as u get a different perspective on the world but man the parts where u simply walk around chatting and looking at things in a room just are time fillers for the sake of being that and add nothing to the game

    Wow where to start. If the first game never happened I may of rated this better. But the lack of player choice in this game is overwhelming. They will make you play the game the way they want and you have no say in it at all. It’s more like playing through a teenage soap opera. So disappointing.

    This is truly outstanding game. Game mechanics are solid, visual design on some magnificent level. Each punch with different tool feels like you hit it by yourself.
    The storyline also very strong, and in some moments very sad.
    Dogs did a good job with passion. But they spoiled everything with LGBT theme. That was completely unnecessary and disgusting.

( opening horse ride scene ;) ), the story is kinda trash with some strong parts here and there imo , kinda like in a Disney Star Wars way, where it took a huge huge dump on the build up of the TLOU 1, joel being Luke basically in this case. To put it into perspective what i mean by that, if TLOU 1 did not exist, this games story would be great not excellent but great, its a sequel and its not treated as such character development wise and even in a more "macro" point of view it just does not feel natural to me the way it progresses. Their message is clear, Payback is bad, because we say so and we are gonna try in every way possible to make you agree with us, witch makes it feel forced, and for many they failed at that as well. Basically it is a right vs wrong story written by some hot-headed teens that think they're always right. Other than that it was fun to play through but at times, especially at around the mid section i quit the game for some time, reason being you are made to do whatever you already did for 16 hours, for another 12ish? hours gameplaywise , from a prospective of the game that to this day even after all their tryhard to make me care with some stupid manipulation i still don't give a single f about..... and only to get back and rush this part hoping the ending would redeem it, but nope.... Is it wierd if you aske me yes its worth the playthrough would i buy it again ? no, does that make sense ?

    EXTRA* Advertising this game like you'll be playing with Joel for a reasonable amount of time was a dick move and should be illegal, i would call it false advertisement.

    So here is my score for the game.

    If you want a game with great gameplay and impactful storytelling this is the one for you.

    For the uninitiated, The Last of Us universe has the player living in a post-apocalyptic world where survival is tough. There are many ways to survive in the world, but most people group together to form communities or militia. The government is mostly gone, like the population. You play as characters trying to live in this world.

    I loved the first game and never thought anything would come close to matching the impact of that story, but the continuation of the story in part two blew me away. The game play is phenomenal. The only problem with the first game for me was that the gameplay was clunky and didn't match quality of the story. That isn't a problem here, where both are superb. I like the changes they made in game play. It is so handy not having to craft a shiv for half the game! I like that you can play stealthily or aggressively. I'm a mix of both, but as someone who isn't a great gamer I tended to use stealth as much as possible, so being able to go prone really suited my play style.

    I love stories where the characters are flawed but make human decisions, whether good or bad. The Last of Us Part 2 tells a story where the players make tough, heartbreaking and sometimes awful decisions. The story takes you places where few others dare to go, mostly because they play it safe to appease the angry and loud minority that tarnish the internet. The story is all the better for it. The journeys that the characters went through were so well thought out and written with amazing performances.

    I really enjoyed the story some of the story was really heartbreaking, like the obvious death, to the decisions of Ellie and Abby later in the game. It is a game where the player gets to experience every emotion, which speaks to the quality of the writing and the performances.

    I hated Abby for what she did but it doesn’t take the user long to get over it because he portion if the game explains why what happened happened.

    This is a game everyone should play. 10/10 would play again and again. It's an experience I can't keep gushing about.

Neil Druckman filled the game with left bias policies, destroyed the character of Ellen we know from the first game, in that she was cool, persistent, faithful, loyal and had a focus on her goal, in this game right at the beginning shows an Ellen spoiled, with no respect for others, because although the bartender was wrong to judge her, he tries to redeem himself by even making a snack, which she calls him precociousituiche. She gets freaky and doesn't want to talk to Joel who just treats her like a daughter. At all times there is a force of the bar, Joel appears to be a childish and foolish ingenuity, his death occurred in a light and banal way, it could have occurred but respecting the player's intelligence. Naughty Dog Stop this SJW and focus on gameplay again. PS: Neil Druckman claims to be a champion of women but he didn't think twice about taking the position that belonged to Amy Hennig in Uncharted.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Where to start, this is almost a masterpiece, but it has some flaws, but first of all, lets start with the things i liked about the game

    - Unfortunately, i got spoiled with Joel’s death, but i didn’t knew how, or when this happens, this broke my heart, but this intrigued me just the enough to seek revenge.

    - Loved the characters, especially Abby, the fact that she’s Jerry Anderson daughter, makes the story perfect continuation from the first game.

    - The inclusion in the game with Dina and Ellie, is just perfect, it is not forced and try to change no one’s “taught” or “sexual orientation”, in my personal opinion, i found this inclusion really natural.

    - The game graphics are on other level, love the colors and the environments.

    - Loved the few jumpscares that they implemented, just the exact amount to make it unpredictable.

    - And to finish with the things i liked about the game, the storyline is so God Damn good, i really enjoyed the game.

    - The inventory and the loot you gather it’s just the right exact amount. Flaws: The game isn’t perfect, it has some bugs here and there but nothing really enough to make me complain, at least for my experience.

    - The very first chapter with Abby when arriving to Santa Monica, after the Aquarium, made me feel a little bored, i felt like the game was notoriously extended, but the next few minutes before that, the game felt just quite right.

    - The only bug that is really noticeable, is the blinking foliage that sometimes i got, nothing out of this world, but in my opinion, it is something that is really easy to fix, and that never got fixed.

    - Sometimes the melee attacks felt really awful, missed some hits that wasn’t really gonna miss.

    - In some occasions, i just wanted to go stealth, but the AI made it so impossible, not the o this is stealth hard, no it was really imposible.

    And thats quite it, i really enjoyed the game.    … Expand

    If there was any overhyped game I have played, it's this one. The first game was good, excellent story in a world I loved exploring. But there's so little of that excitement or exploration of a game world here, as there is nothing new here. Killing off a main character quite early on is never a good move.     Крайне годная игра. Потрясающие анимации, сюжет, отличный стелс. Единственный минус игра крайне затянута, на 15 часу уже начинаешь уставать и хочется уже побыстрее закончить.

    Pregnant scouts, transgender people, female bodybuilders are not post-apocalyptic characters.
    Animation and graphics are great. The gameplay is standard for all Sony games.

    story is right up there with the greats, game play is on another level. sure did my fav character die, yup. does it matter, nope.why, because im on the writer and its not my game. i dont go into games demanding them to fit exactly what i want story wise. that would be boring. im glad i avoided the spoilers, and my ego isnt fragile like all the man babies online. game of the year indeed.

    - Plot. The plot is shallow, it doesn't have the same quality as the previous game. Basically, it's an arbitrary and meaningless revenge cycle.
    - Characters motivations and inconsistency with the world environment. It's so hard to get a favorable situation in game world, but for anything the characters throw everything away. Example: a character crosses the city in the middle of a civil war and kills 100 people on a journey that the chance of survival is minimal just to have a 30 minute sex with a guy that she rejected several times.
    - Combat. It didn't improve anything compared to the 2013 game.
    - Lack of consistency with physics. A 19-year-old girl weighing 110 pounds is stronger than a beefy 200 pounds guy. Ellie's body composition does not allow her to do a pull up, but in game she has Kratos' strength.

Of course I was sad when joel died but I still believe that this is one of the best games ever made, Story, Gameplay, and everything else about this game was fantastic.     The last of us part 2 is the pinnacle of 3rd pearson action games, his story has a superb writing and themes that only support it. The last of us is a master piece and everybody who is a fan of bynary, story based 3rd action games, should buy it as quick as possible, you won't regret it.
