Абсолютно не раскрытые персонажи, которые не вызывают ни капли сопереживания. Недосказанность и нелогичность преследует нас всю игру. Очень спорный момент с жестокостью, тут с ней явно перебор, что безусловно даёт крутую атмосферу, но выглядит как какой-то фетиш создателей.
    Очень обидно за эту игру, столько стараний вложено в проект, а получилось не понятно что.
    Игра должна была стать великой, не решись они на такой эксперимент. Многие хвалят за такую смелость, я же не вижу в этом ничего хорошего. Фанатов жестоко обманули, обещая им в трейлерах одно, а продавая совершенно другое.
    ЛГБТ повестка не делает игру хуже или лучше, на неё абсолютно плевать.
    Хотелось бы хорошей истории, с нашими любимыми персонажами, но этого мы уже не получим. Надеюсь они не станут делать продолжение, потому что этой игрой убили всю франшизу. Те кто пишут что наслаждаются игрой несмотря на сюжет, очень вам завидую. Но я считаю что сюжет стоит на первом месте, хорошая история может перекрыть все остальные грехи (to the moon тому пример). Здесь же наоборот, сюжет перекрывает все остальные плюсы игры.
    И оспаривая главный контраргумент всех защитников игры, она плохая не из-за ЛГБТ повестки, это абсолютно неважно, она плохая из-за ужасной истории. Сюжет этой игры это надругательство над первой частью, над фанатами, кредит доверия уже не вернуть.
    Спасибо за самое сильное разочарование в жизни, тратить деньги на следующие части франшизы смысла не имеет.    … Expand

I hated how they treated Joel’s characteristics before he died, he was so out of character. The game should have ended with Abby being killed and Ellie feeling bad instead of Ellie letting Abby go even though she killed Joel and wanted to kill a pregnant woman (Dina) and Ellie feel bad when she killed a pregnant woman even though it was in self defence and she didn’t know. I did really enjoy all the game except Abby day 1 and 2, the way they killed Joel, how Joel acted before he died, the fact that Abby was not killed by Ellie and Abby’s personality being terrible.… Expand

This game is totally the opposite, you cannot say it’s a master piece to most of the people who think the story is garbage. For me I had no problem with the lesbian relationship or the transgender character from Lev, for me it would be so weird if Ellie was straight, but I feel like I didn’t even need to bring that up because it didn’t cross my mind that it would be a problem.

    The fact they disrespected Joel in the way he went out is like the writer hated him, I was pissed he died but if they did it to shock us and create an amazing journey of revenge, it didn’t work at all.

    Last note, it’s like Iron Man dying in Infinity War and Thanos torturing him and ripping off his limbs, then ending the film there and End Game didn’t exist.

    I waited 7 years for this and I’m just gutted with what they came up with, also I would love to play it again I absolutely loved the gameplay and graphics, but I can’t bring myself to play as that **** Abbey. I got a refund from my game as I won’t play it again and plus it was false advertising to play as Joel.

    I recommend not buying the game or even playing, just play the first and pretend it didn’t exist...    … Expand

    I absolutely loved the original game, having played through it too many times to count, including numerous times on Grounded Mode. It seems to me that a lot of the backlash for this current title may be rooted in the expectations players have had, especially those regarding the direction they've thought the story might or should take. By 2013, Naughty Dog already established themselves as capable of producing some of the most engaging and boundary-pushing studios in all of gaming with classics like Crash and Uncharted 2, but the Last of Us cemented them in the video game hall of fame for all time. While the game had its flaws, it told a gripping and memorable story which inspired countless great games for years to come. They had peaked, no question. But then, Uncharted 4. *EXPLOSIONS*. The presentation in this game is off the charts. The graphics are gorgeous, and the incredible performances by every actor, especially Nolan North and Emily Rose sold me at every moment. Uncharted 4 tells a roller coaster of a story which kept me glued to the screen the whole time. Truly, it is one of the highlights of storytelling in video games to this day. The game was also pretty fun to back that up. So, is it even possible to top the storytelling of Uncharted 4? For me, no, but I do still think the Last of Us II is an enthralling experience. The visuals are fluid and stunning. Everything is easy to navigate and nothing takes you out of the experience just like in the first game. The combat is smooth, but it is also absolutely brutal. I understand now why this game is about hate. Every act of violence feels personal, raw, and real. People will beg for their lives, they’ll scream, they’ll cry, and the performances absolutely sucked me into the experience and sold me on what an absolute cold-blooded killer Ellie is becoming. Some of these gunfights can go on for a long time and by the time I finally gained the upper hand, I felt like Ellie. I was going to make these bastards suffer. The levels themselves are also bigger, more open, and more made to explore and experiment with than in either Last of Us 1 or Uncharted 4. The story, while not as clean or as elegant as the first game’s, is still outstanding in its own right. I thought Abby served as a clever parallel to Joel from the first game and a mirror to Ellie in this game. I originally thought that there was no way I would ever come around, but eventually I did, and that made the whole rest of the story all the more enthralling. I don’t really understand why people are mad. Joel's death of course is painful and makes the player angry, but that is sort of why it's such a brilliant start for a revenge story. Furthermore, the way that the game evolves after his death makes it feel sufficiently weighty and meaningful, and it is only 1 of many, many painful instances in this game. Characters you care about during the game will make choices that you don't agree with and at the end of the day it is up to you to attempt to understand and empathize with them. At the end, all I could do was simply hope that they would make it to the other side. I haven’t been this invested in a game’s story since Red Dead 2, so I give Last of Us II an 8 out of 10.… Expand

    TOP in graphics and setting. Little remarkable music but it accompanies the moments well. Characters little used and poorly written, with little personality and very wasted. The story leaves a lot to be desired, it is predictable, boring, it does not contribute anything new, and its ending is meaningless ... Far inferior to the original game in all aspects.

    I went in this game blind and with high expectations as I have been waiting for over 7 years for this. Although the game is very well crafted the narrative felt a bit forced and unnecessarily long. I personally did not enjoy the story and at times I just wanted it to be over.     First of all holy ish, this is some masterclass writing right here. As well as imaginative and illustrious artwork and cgi work, really ahead of it's time with the facial details and character uniqueness. No game is perfect, not even the first one but the attention to detail in this series never ceases to amaze me. You can't take anything for granted when it comes to the story, without disclosing too much, it really has many layers in it's plot, many of which will catch you off guard if you care about the characters. I get it, a lot of tlou 1 fans think the story is ruined but I say it does way better than a lot of sequels out there and not only continues the story but ads an entire rich layer of depth to it's characters. The outcome of the story was not expected from me, I had certain theories that I was sure were facts while playing, and it turned out to be something completely different. I say if you are a fan of the first one, or a fan of insane dramatic action-rpgs, this is a must for you. It's brilliant in many aspects. I think all the negative feedback for this game is not really warranted and emotive based/ irrational. Ironically, somewhat cult like (reference to some of this games themes). It's true this game was nothing even close to what I was expecting but that made it the much more thrilling for me. I had no idea what was coming around the corner, figuratively and literally. If you are reading this review, you must check this game out, you are in for a lengthy and complex- bumpy ride.… Expand

    The only thing better than Part 1 is the upgraded graphics and combat but unfortunately the story is dreadful and poorly written and for a single player only game it falls short of any GOTY awards for this matter alone. It felt like a chore playing this game & the second I finished the game I deleted it to make room for something better. Visuals are nice but no decent story merits 5/10 at a push.

The gameplay, locations, and visual design are supremely engaging, and so is the story. It is quite naive and immature to assume that in a deadly post-apocalyptic world that people will behave rationally, morally, or even kindly to one another, and this poignant story explores those perspectives and themes. Many of these review bombers are simply upset that a beloved, albeit, selfish character is killed off early on (despite the fact that death is an increased reality of this game world and that death is the reality of our world too) refuse to give the game any credence thereafter. Many more are also deeply bigoted despite their claims that the ‘writing is just bad’. The game champions a queer hero (who has always been queer since the first game) and a trans character later on who actually fits into and serves the story. These diverse characters are lifted up by an ethnically diverse cast too which feels correct in today’s world. Notions that this game is pandering to queer people, women, and people of colour as a political message (when these diverse people are already existent in our real world) are completely biased and hateful. Especially the ‘joke’ that a certain character is unclearly a man or a woman because of their physique is transphobic and sexist. Please ignore these reviews and enjoy the game for what it is and keep an open mind. In saying all this, my only criticisms of the game is that for a story about revenge and violence it really ought to have a reward system for sacrificing your enemies, and there are also a few small moments where the great illusion of immersion are broken simply because the game tries so hard to be immersive (see, swimming underwater with a backpack full of notes and journals and gunpowder). It seems also that the west especially is not used to seeing their heroes fail, lose or regress, but this is all a part of the brutal but excellent reality that is the Last of Us Part II.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Here's the thing, mis amigos: Nobody that has written a review or even gave the game a score would have had the time to properly finish it in the first place. I don't even have the game yet and here I am writing a 10/10 review.
    You need to understand that after the leaks a whole bunch of hateful people and trolls went all their way to harass the developers and ruin the game by spreading those leaks with both real and fake information.
    I'm not saying the game is perfect 'cause I haven't even played it but I would ask you, reader, to go and see for yourself: Read the professional reviews, go watch some youtuber's gameplay videos, read the story from the wiki or trust your gut and buy it and ask for a refund if you hate it.
    You know what's the story about so there's nothing about the tone that you would go blindly into. If the story, gameplay, violence or depictions that presents you aren't your thing, well, skip it.
    All I'm saying is that you should give the game a fair chance 'cause for less than 24 hours since it launched, to have more than 5000 reviews it's just simply baffling.
    I'll update this review (or delete this one and write a new one) when I get to play the game.

    EDIT: After playing the game thoroughly I came with the conclusion that, in fact, it is quite good! The characters are really well-developed and the whole narrative takes a whole bunch of risks that, at least for me, pay off awesomely! And of course, the gameplay, man! The gameplay's so cathartically bloody you can't possibly want to keep up but something pulls you in right back at it.
    I can understand why some people would flat-out despise the story, unfortunately, they fall in the majority of really mundane and superficial complaints (Ex. no. 1: Joel being "careless" like, man, it's been 4 years in which they pretty much show how much he went soft trying to reach an understanding with Ellie and his own experiences in a town like Jackson. Ex. no 2: The "woke agenda" like, you look immature by even using those terms, dude... And believe me, there's no "agenda" in this game. Things play out like in the real world and there is not even a single moment that allows you to go "ah! They showcase us, conservatives, as bad people!". Not even that, they're not attacking you).

    Is this a perfect game? Probably no. Is the narrative flawless? Not really: There are certain moments that probably weren't too polished (a character death that plays more for cheap shock value midway through the game; the jarring change of pace by playing with a new protagonist midway through the game, as well) but overall I can overlook all of that with what we have here. All I could have wished for was for this game to have been longer than what it is, the extra time would have worked wonders (yes, I'm saying that about this 25-hour long game).

    I can understand the hate. I can understand the love. It certainly deserves both: To be loved and hated in this much passion (but hating it doesn't give you rights to be an awful person and send death threats to the developers even if the game was not as "legendary" as you would have hoped for...)

    Ironically, about a game about hate and empathy, the story bleeds out into the real world wonderfully.

    It's 50/50 man, and I wish for the user reviews to remain like they are right now (at 5.3 overall), because that sums it up: People loving it for the wrong reasons and people hating it for ridiculous reasons. People enjoying it for doing a whole bunch of things right, and people hating it for doing things they didn't hope for.
    Give or take. You might love this, you might hate this.
    I ended up loving it, even when the game broke my heart in half and spat on it. But it was an experience that definitely moved me like nothing else in the gaming world. Nothing at all.

    You may end up saying the story is trash, you may end up saying the story is one of the best narratives out there. For me is the second. The only way for you to find out is to play it. Maybe you'll agree with me, maybe you'll think I'm stupid.
    Either way, I got something I wasn't prepared for.

I sat on my sofa and started playing it, The graphics.... seeing Joel with those graphics was astonishing. His death was indeed a big loss, for me one of the biggest losses in game history. For the first time I had a real mission, I had a reason to keep playing it, I had an objective. But then they cut off my entire playthrough, all my effort was for nothing, they changed characters and suddently I had to play as my enemy. They've put this "enemy" idea in my head and then they tried so hard to change my mind through the next 10 hours gameplay. The final chapter I had to see one of my favorite characters lose everything, even her chance to venge her father's death. For me they killed both main characters and placed other null and bad writed characters just to use as pieces in a chess game or something like that. The graphics are the best for this generation and probably there will be no other game with such graphics. The gameplay is good and well design although sometimes it's a little repetitive and boring. The scripted cutscenes are so well done that you can barely destinguish whether it's a gameplay or cutscene. The game has a lot to offer in one hand. But in the other is just a poor writen story with forgetable characters and an awful, horrible chronologinal order. I'm so disappointed, I would never expect something with such low quality (speaking of story) from Naughty Dog. Neil Druckmann, you should listen to your fans, not try to make an unforgetable "revenge is bad" story. You surely can do more than this.… Expand

    This game is a masterpiece, I'm very sorry for all the people that are criticizing it and didnt even play it. It's a beautiful story about humaniy, it's complex and filled with real emotions. People are just mad cause its not the story they wanted. Amazing game, if you are intelligent enough to understand it.

As for the game play it is decent and i had fun playing the game but i think it could be improved majorly! Enemies are divided to human and zombie, human were improved with respect to part1 the communication that the enemies used enhanced the experience! As for zombies there are no new types which as strange tbh.

    Compared to part1 narrative, part2 didn’t do as well... there is nothing wrong with a good revenge story but what naughty dog did is take a 15 hour game and double it by adding Abbie’s part! Personally i think the idea is good and could be implemented better. Playing with the most hated character killed it for me!

    Characters were poorly written and felt that they were forced upon us (gender/sex politics)!

TLOU destacó por ser un juego que nos cautivó con su historia donde en cada capítulo querías avanzar más para saber que iba a pasar y La historia es lo que te motivaba a seguir jugando y avanzando. Esto no pasa en TLOU2..... Si nos centramos en sus características jugables no dejaría de ser un Uncharted con otra ambientación... por lo que la historia es clave en esta saga... El problema no es que maten a Joel (es algo que se sabe/intuye desde el primer momento que anuncian esta segunda semana parte ¿que puede pasar tan fuerte como para ellie abandone una vida tranquila y empiece una guerra?) el problema tampoco es que hayan lesbianas como muchos colectivos quieren justificar para victimizarse (las personas que argumentan que ls criticas a este juego son porque ellie es lesbiana me parece que no han jugado al primero, solo por recordar en TLOU sacaron un dlc cuya historia te contaba que ellie es lesbiana...por lo tanto, ya se sabía que ellie es lesbiana y TLOU no recibió las criticas que esta recibiendo la parte 2 ahora).

    El problema real de este juego, es que a nivel de historia ha bajado de nivel muchísimo. No digo que la narrativa sea mala, pero la historia lo que pasa y como pasa está cogido por pinzas... las argumentaciones que dan para justificar lo que pasa son de película serie B y la manera de desarrollarlo y terminarlo no valen para nada. Al final tras terminar el videojuego, me viene a la cabeza una capitulo de the big bang theory en el que Amy le dice a Sheldon que la película no tiene sentido porque las acciones de indiana jones no afectan a la trama... pues esa sensación he tenido con esta segunda parte...
    En mi opinión la muerte de Joel era necesaria, pero no me ha parecido el mejor momento de hacerlo ni la mejor forma de hacerlo... Quizás el problema ha sido como lo han organizado, quizás una mejor forma de abordarlo hubiera sido empezar con abby buscando a joel, conociendo a los lobos y por último matando a Joel y ya empezar la parte de ellie. O haber tenido dos campañas separadas....Quizás hubiera sido mejor dejar dos finales y que te dieran la opción de vengarte o no y hubiera sido opción del jugador hacerlo.... no lo se no soy desarrollador de videojuegos, ni guionista, sólo soy un consumidor de videojuegos al que no le ha terminado de convencer esta segunda parte de uno de los mejores juegos que ha jugado...

    El caso es que me parece un gran error como lo han abordado, me parece un error que maten a joel en las 2 primeras horas del juego, te hagan emprender una guerra, en mitad de un momento crítico te cambien de personaje (a un personaje que estas odiando fuertemente en ese momento) y empiece toda una campaña política para hacer que sientas empatía por ese personaje... yo simplemente no puedo... no puedo sentir empatía por abby después de ver lo que ha hecho, si primero hubiéramos jugado con abby antes de saber lo que pasaba con joel quizás hubiera sido distinto... pero así no.

    Si nos vamos al gameplay la primera parte en esa zona abierta antes de llegar a seattle es maravillosa... es lo mejor que tiene el juego... a partir de ahi todo decae... el juego se convierte una repetición constante de conseguir recursos en zonas vacías, matar enemigos, fin fase...

    Tampoco creo que se merezca el hate que ha recibido el juego, ni mucho menos las amenazas a los trabajadores y actores del juego, pero si que me parece que han convertido lo que podría haber sido una gran saga en un juego del montón...    … Expand

    I am a huge fan of the Last of Us original game, however the story in this game is very poor and the characters are strange and inconsistent. Visuals are amazing but the core of the game, which is the story, is a weak and uninspiring effort with a sub par ending. I paid for it and I regret it.

As someone who didnt read up on or see the leaks, I may have played the game with a more objective outlook than many others. I actually thought that Joels death, though brutal and depressing, made a lot of sense story-wise, and obviously drove the narrative of the game. I thought the graphics were strong, the gameplay was suitable, and the story, though not as good as the first, was still engaging/emotional. This game, like all, has its flaws. I dont consider it "near perfect" like most of the reviewers did, but it is ridiculous that the game has gotten so many 0,1,2,3/10 ratings.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm pretty disappointed I'm even writing this. I was excited for the continued success of the series, but they severely missed the target with this one. So what happened? Let's talk about most of it: the good and the bad.

    The entirety of this game isn't terrible. We'll be discussing this later, but quite frankly I think I would have thought this title was OK had it done a few things differently, but for what we got: here are a few things I enjoyed:

    . Relaxing gun modification sounds and animations at the workbenches. I could watch this for minutes on end.

    . Stunningly gorgeous graphics. While this may not shine at all times, you can really appreciate the art when you take a moment to look at the scenery in between scrounging.

    . There are some clear winners in the gameplay section department. That giant Seattle area where Ellie constantly scribbled on the map? Superb. I was hoping there'd be more. The entirety of Abby's creepy hospital section? I was on edge. When I stopped being disappointed by the story as a whole: they really had some fun sequences here.

    . The idea to hide upgrade trees as a question mark to what you may even get instead of showing us all of the possibilities was a fantastic idea. This way I didn't hoard my pills waiting for the stealth magazine to show up, but instead I upgraded the abilities I had at every given moment to maximize my combat potential in the scenarios I faced NOW.

    . The sheer amount of accessibility and difficulty adjustment options are great and SHOULD have been highlighted before starting your first run. I would have killed to know that an autopickup option existed for items as you scurried around the numerous kitchens and ruins. Heck I probably would have modified the AI partner behavior instead of living with my frustrating experience I was given (we'll get to that).

    . The character diversity was a highlight for me. Representation in games really is important to a lot of people, and I think this was mostly a good step. Some people have a problem with how Lev's trans issues were portrayed as the only thing going for Lev, but since I'm not a part of that community I want their voice to be heard above mine on that matter.

    You can see from the above that I actually find quite a few things to enjoy. Unfortunately the next section will be... a bit heavier. Here is what I found lacking:

    . The biggest flaw is easily the story structure and pacing. That cliffhanger mid game is ending of Code Geass season 1 levels of jarring. Want to see the rest of the theater scene? Too bad play 12 hours of a new character. Don't like her? Tough cookies now play fetch with this dog and eat a burrito with Manny. I honestly think I would have found the game to be "eh it's fine" had it been tied together chronologically.

    . I can't believe I'm not allowed the lament the loss of the main protagonist from the last game. He did a lot of wrong and deserved it (e.g. killed innocent people to survive), but I grew to like him over my 10~ hour journey in TLoU1. Paired with Ellie he was fun to be around. THEY were fun to be around.

    . Dulled partner parings with actually intrusive AI, pushing you out of cover often, and milquetoast conversation. The days of a Joel / Ellie paring were only hinted at in the numerous flashbacks and teased me at what a proper TLoU2 could have been.

    . Too many flashbacks and too many flashbacks within flashbacks. TLoU2 could have learned proper story structure from its predecessor if it listened.

    . The slight manipulation of Ellie killing (all but 1) dogs she meets while Abby can play and pet them. Felt like a cheap trick as one of the first things in Abby's section.

    . The 3 hour misery simulator, chaining events of a theater deathmatch to dancing in the kitchen to fat geralt to a waist high water brawl. I've never begged a game to just be done with it more often than this flounder drowning in ankle deep water.

    . While most of the gore could be passed off as "hey look video game violence", something about the leaky blood from throat stabs and the "clip her wings" section were quite uncomfortable. Also for Christ's sakes the dog killing... just purely miserable.

    I had to cut a lot of content to meet the character limitations, but know there's a lot to talk about and, at the end of the day, because I disliked my time with this game doesn't mean you have to or should take it to the level of death threats to the game's creators.     The graphics and gameplay are very well done, but the story is poor. Ellie kills lots of people during the game but gets remorse only for the story npcs... And the end is just bad...

    Without to much doubts, one of the most fun and thrilling games i have played. A very good sequel after the first game. In my opinion its a good thing to add crazy twists. It makes it very realistic, because in an apocalyptic world, anything can happen, loved it a lot, good game, very curious about the next one

Imagine watching the original trilogy of Star Wars where you follow the story of Luke Skywalker all the way up till Cloud City where he has his first duel against Darth Vader, only to have the scene cut away as Luke and Darth Vader draws their lightsaber. Now imagine spending the next 12 hours watching the prequel trilogy before you're allowed to watch the duel unfold. This is what it feels like to play TLOU2.

    The problem with TLOU2 is that it contains two stories but the game is only capable of telling half of each. When a game sells itself as a narrative-driven game the story is the crux of the game. No amount of great graphics and good gameplay can save a horribly broken story.

    A story begins, and end with, its characters. In TLOU1 we are given the whole game to explore and develop the relationship between Joel and Ellie. It allows us enough time to understand the characters and connect with them on an emotional level. Not so for TLOU2. In TLOU2 we are given half the time to interact with two sets of characters from different POVs. The game did not give us time enough to care for any of the new characters. This is made abundantly clear when the crux of the game's story is told over 3 days of game-time, as opposed to the year we spent as Ellie and Joel in TLOU1. TLOU1 gave us plenty of idle dialogues between Ellie and Joel throughout the game while also providing us with meaningful interaction between the two characters in cutscenes. TLOU2 did not do justice to any of the relationships between the characters. Playing as Ellie, we never get to experience how she develops her relationship with Dina and Jesse. We as players are just told they're our new companions, with very few actual on-scene interactions that portrays their relationships in a meaningful way. On the other hand, while playing as Abby, the game keeps relying on flashbacks to tell us why we should care about these new characters but their execution just jars you out of the moment instead of keeping you in the moment. The end result is players are left wanting for a more fleshed-out relationships between all the characters.

    Going into the more nitpicky bit, how did Ellie and Dina managed to setup their farm house in such a hostile environment? It is clear that the farmhouse isn't a 5 minute walk from Jackson since Tommy showed up with his backpack, implying there is quite a bit of travel involved to get to the house. What made even less sense was the house was left practically untouched upon Ellie's return. Someone who knows Dina lived could've asked to live in that sweet real estate since Dina decided to leave it. The alternative would be the house should've been overrun by clickers or occupied by some hostile bandits in the intervening time between Dina leaving and Ellie returning. How exactly did the house remain so pristine?

    Another nitpicky bit I had issue with was who in their right mind would send and/or allow a pregnant woman to participate in combat? Never mind that the pregnant woman is the best doctor they have in a post-apocalypse world. Naysayers are gonna swarm in and say 'she wasn't sent on a combat mission' but that's just **** The moment they leave the safety of their base they are entering a hostile environment and are prepared for combat, or they wouldn't have armed themselves to the teeth. There were also a few instances were any normal pregnant woman not named Mel would've suffered a miscarriage if they were put in the exact same situation, but Mel being Mel, she is able to shrug off the inconvenient realities of being pregnant and just keep going.

    The last nitpicky thing is the ending. The game tries to setup Ellie and Abby as two sides of the same coin, mirroring each other throughout the game. In their first encounter Abby let Ellie go because she had no idea who Ellie was, and this sets off Ellie's revenge quest. The second time they encounter each other Ellie has killed all of Abby's friends, and Abby again decides to let her go. The third time they meet Ellie was on the verge exacting her revenge, only to let Abby go at the very end. Since they are a mirror of each other, who is to say Abby won't later decide to come back and seek vengeance against Ellie for all her friends Ellie killed? Ellie had a nice life with Dina in the farmhouse and decides to throw it all away to pursue Abby. Abby, being a mirror of Ellie, could do the same thing seeing as she held onto her grudge against Joel for 4-ish years.    … Expand

    I don't understand the unwarranted responses of gamers when talking about the game. In my personal opinion I liked it a lot ♥️ the only thing I can say regarding the game's downfall was in the forced concept of sexuality and in the soundtrack, the latter, unlike the first game, was very poor: '(

    It’s a very emotional and compelling story that has a lot of complexity to it, the stories of Ellie and Abby are beautiful, but at the same time depressing. It’s kind of like a golf club to the head.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
