    Last of Us 2 totally went away from the original story. I know the writers wanted to try something different but the story was awful.

    I can't get over how bad the story telling is. It is such a let down after the first game wrapped up so well. It's very disappointing.

    I got half a game cuz you are forced to play half the game as another character then Ellie that I CARE NOTHING ABOUT.
    so basically I get half a game.
    which also has a mediocre story..

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. this game sux.... the developers have no clue how to write a good story... the problem here is that abby had no right to kill joel cause he did the right thing for saving ellie.... no one has the right to kill 1 person even if it helps 100 of others.... so joel got revenge killed for a right thing he did there.... even after joel saved abby from the horde (she would have been dead without joel and tommy) she killed him.... that makes the story even worse... so the whole story could have been avoided if abby would have decided to go the right way... but she didnt and the fact that she doesnt die at the end makes the game even worse… Expand

    This is my first time writing a review and the game made me do it haha, it was such a joke how they made Joel in this game so stupid he was smart and cautious about the world in the first part. this game they made him so dumb its not even a new game to me. It's like a fictional fantasy for a new character they added. The graphic is very good I give it 10 only for that but the story is 0 points. I played the last of us 7 years ago and I very enjoyed it because the story was good and it was funny the joel and ellie's relashionship. They were like father and daughter. So we waited 7 years for this 2. It doesn't matter the Abby's story and we don't want to play her. She killed the true main character in this game... We want revenge him. And you block us. Always. In the end ellie lost all while Abby won. So this is not the last of us... This game don't exist for me.… Expand

    Para mim, o mais importante de um jogo é a história, portanto minha nota é 0 (zero mesmo). A empresa apenas tentou forçar a barra com temas que ela acha que são "fortes" e polêmicos. O jogo deixou bastante a desejar. Não perca seu tempo nem seu dinheiro com esse jogo.

    L’histoire est nauséabonde, incohérente, ennuyeuse et crache sur l’héritage du premier.
    Les nouveaux personnages sont insipides et on ne reconnait pas les anciens.
    Le pire c’est qu’il faut jouer la moitié du jeu avec Abby, personnage antipathique dont on n’a rien à foutre. Et pour terminer la fin improbable avec sa morale merdique au relent de religion : « la vengeance ce n’est pas bien et ça ne résout rien ».
    C’est le plus grand foutage de gueule du jeux vidéo !
    Ce jeu ne laisse que des mauvais souvenirs, passer votre chemin.

    This isn't the Oscars, when you make a game with the sole purpose of praise and rewards then you are going to alienate a large portion of the player base who don't want to eat your life lesson off the spoon you've shoved down their throats. Bad gameplay too, it isn't even fun.

    Sin duda este es un claro ejemplo de cómo no hacer una secuela, estábamos preparados para recibir un juego que no sea tan bueno como su predecesor en cuanto a su historia ya que superar al primer juego sería algo difícil de lograr pero ¿esto? esto es una burla.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
