    Plot is terrible, especially Abby's campaign. False advertisement with trailers and reviews to sell the game as something that isn't.

    Ther is no character development the characters felt bleak and the story was quite boring in a sense I would not recommend this game and it is an embarrassment as well as a disappoint meant to good games all around

    Gameplay and music are good... So why is this 0 of 10??? Plot.. plot is horrible and since this game is fully story-driven game it does not deserve good score. If this game would be a movie, it would have received Golden Raspberry...

    This is one of the worst games of the generation, they ruined everything that could be ruined in it. The best moment is when you play with Joel. Neil didn't have to listen to any crazy people, but think with his own head, in the end he made Mass Effect Andromeda

    Dreadful drop off from first game. Story is terrible, writing and character motivations are juvenile. Such a huge disappointment compared to the masterpiece the first game was.

    What it lacks is the story.
    Bad pacing, new characters shoved in and not developed enough to have the players feel emotionally attached and constant gameplay padding. Abby in particular, If she would have been introduced more slowly, building her towards her killing Joel, with the player having to do the job after you have played with her for enough time to start appreciate the character, it would have been much better.

    Instead we have a messy start that sets her as a villain while spending the rest of the game using cheap methods to try and make you like her. Meanwhile dehumanizing Ellie. In the end you don't feel anything for either one of them.

    Another glaring weak point is the longevity, the game could have lasted half the 30 hours it lasts and it would have been better, too much gameplay padding in a game that doesn't shine for combat mechanics.    … Expand

    The first one was my favorite game of that generation, and this one is somehow better. Makes me more confident about the TV show and a possible part 3.

    this game may have polished animations, art and music the rest of the game falls short of its predecessor. The gameplay is almost identical to it's original with a few added improvements. But due to the games longer length the gameplay wears out it's welcome. The story took Risks which in the end didn't pay off for the damage it has done. But there is no way you can call art this superficial kind of story. Killing Joel just to create a plot is so „artistic“ and „inspiring“ as lunching Crash Bandicoot. Maybe a couple of hours having fun but it certainly didn’t worth killing the greatest franchise ever un gaming history. I wish they have never release Part II. RIP: The Last Of Us… Expand

    If you see anyone unbiased reviewing it you'll know how many of the flaws these stupid journos ignored all the flaws.

    They'll use "review-bombing" as a crutch when they can't refute the legitimate arguments or they'll just call you a fcking homophone because you know thats completely logical

    Could have been the best game of all time, but it suffered from a bad narrative.
    I got the game early, I liked the world, but hated every character in it.

    **** story, made characters do things they wouldn't ever do. Too political as well. Waited SEVEN years for this **** show. Kudos to the graphics team, but a good looking environment is meaningless with a **** story.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
