    I had lots of fun with this game,I loved the gameplay so much, the animations were fresh and definitely new gen, the exploration and graphics are so well done that I explored every single area in the game, this game doesn't deserve a 0 / 10, the story was average and had plot holes but I can't ignore all the awesome moments this game gave me, the game has some really clever game design,I had lots of fun with this game,I loved the gameplay so much, the animations were fresh and definitely new gen, the exploration and graphics are so well done that I explored every single area in the game, this game doesn't deserve a 0 / 10, the story was average and had plot holes but I can't ignore all the awesome moments this game gave me, the game has some really clever game design, the environment doesn't feel like it was made just for gameplay, it feels natural and really represents a post apocalyptic world. For me this game gets a 8 /10,it wasn't perfect and it's really different from the last game in terms of narrative, they wanted to change the story and it didn't succeed as they wanted but I didn't find the story bad,just average but all the other elements are a 10 /10, this game doesn't deserve the review bombing it gets, I understand if you wanted a different story but rating this 0/10 is just pathetic. I rate this 10 on metacritic to help with the review bombing… Expand

    The game is not nearly asperfect as the first one but it certainly lives up to the expectations. The story is deep , engaging and traumatising even. It manges to make you feel sadness, happiness and the narrative beats helps to convey these feelings to you. At the beginning it sets up your mind in a state of " I'm going to kill every last one of them" but as the narrative evolves we slowlyThe game is not nearly asperfect as the first one but it certainly lives up to the expectations. At the beginning it sets up your mind in a state of " I'm going to kill every last one of them" but as the narrative evolves we slowly change our perspective . We get to understand that each one of our actions has a weight in this post apocalyptic world. The quest of revenge is justified but at the end we question whether it was truly worth everything you had. The second main character greatly ressembles Joel's arc in the first game and we see how she changes from a ruthless killer of Justice to a Caring person who finally finds something to live for again. The finale shows us how it is hard to break from something here the cycle of violence instilled by the end of The first game ,but leaves a deep profound impact which makes players think and think and think... For the foreseeable future of the series and in which direction the writers want to expand the story . It is not Joel's and Ellie's story, it's the story of The Last of us.… Expand

    poor shallow story destroyed the game .tlou1 is my favorite game,but I will carefully consider whether I will buy Naughty Dog games in the future.

    The game is perfect in many aspects for example the graphics, the gameplay, and the NPCS are very smart this is great it brings realism to the game but the story is not perfect the story has many script errors does not surpass the tlou 1

    This Game is MASTERPIECE. I don't know what you could ask more. Combat is more brutal than the first one which make a dark gritty world more realistic. Visual is stunning even run on the base PS4. Seattle is very interesting as a main location. And the story is ASTONISHING. It make me rethink what is good and bad. Everything you have done had a following consequence. Which, in the end. HadThis Game is MASTERPIECE. I don't know what you could ask more.     he Last of Us Part 2 has a lot to say about us as people after we connected ourselves to these characters in the first entry. The journey is one that is not for squeamish, but it was one that deserved to be told. As the player, we must once again witness the reality of this harsh world and those who are brought up in it.

    The Last of Us Part 2 is a masterclass in environmental design,    he Last of Us Part 2 has a lot to say about us as people after we connected ourselves to these characters in the first entry. The journey is one that is not for squeamish, but it was one that deserved to be told. As the player, we must once again witness the reality of this harsh world and those who are brought up in it.

After hardcore fans waited a long development period for the sequel most will be disappointed. The narrative writers, Druckman and Halley Gross set out on something new and it flopped unspectacularly. It’s a depressing,Gameplay combat is top notch. After hardcore fans waited a long development period for the sequel most will be disappointed. The narrative writers, Druckman and Halley Gross set out on something new and it flopped unspectacularly. It’s a depressing, dragging video game that leaves you wanting to end much sooner than it does even after a couple of hours in. There was so much potential here to build off the legendary story telling of part I and in its own attempt to justify the revenge plot ends up trying to convince itself this is what it’s meant to be. The magic is gone and we’re left in a world where there is no hope, no reasoning, no light. You are left with a sour, unsweet taste of forcing a narrative that’s a complete disconnect from the prequel. As has been said before at least we have the first game and we can all use our imaginations to come up with a better succession to what we’ve experienced. Part II is a dark void of an alternative universe. Nothing is familiar here.… Expand

The best graphics from the current generation of consoles, although decently cut from the time of the trailer, is a normal plot, time-tested solid gameplay. But in all of this there is one BUT, and this is not even a continuation for the waiters, this is banal broken storyline curve from which there is only one question why shouldn't I must care?) Someone said that Drackmann was inspired by Nolan and therefore made such an arrangement of plot scenes and flashbacks. But it all reminds me of the level of some newcomer who decided not to shove something in.) Maybe it was such an idea that people cause a fifth point to be undermined, but the point of spoiling the work for the sake of this remains a big mystery to me) If you look at the whole storyline problem, then we have heroes from the last game, to which we have emotions and in this part there is a continuation about them in the form of flashbacks in front of the main plot of the game. And the question is why shove these flashbacks where one of the heroes has already left forever?) Here we look at these flashbacks, but there is no emotional response because the hero is already end. The second point, we have an antagonist who stands out half of the game, why shove it after what made it the antoganist of the game?) Not only doesn’t you want to play for so long because of bias, it’s annoying when the authors are trying to impose on us the idea that the antagonist is not so bad and that everything is not so simple in this sinful life) Again, to some extent, the intrigue is lost. And now all this crookedness strongly hits the rest of the positive part of the game. These problems, which are not the only ones, make a slurred game with incorrectly placed accents, which is why it is not interesting to look at old heroes, but simply do not care about new ones. Well, you can still add on, the death of minor heroes who die well is as ridiculous as if by wave of a wand, despite the fact that before that they as super heroes quietly broke through hordes of enemies) For example, the death of one Chinese repeats the death of one Mexican, so you know that now this Mexican will die and when you see it, laughter begins and think what kind of deja vu is it?) And also mirroring the protagonist and antoganist even in the number and types of friends. We have here a Chinese against a Mexican, one pregnant Jew against a pregnant white. I don’t know, it pokes so much into the eyes of the authors that it’s even funny. Well, and for dessert the ending, somehow slurred, it turned out, then we want revenge, now we don’t want to, and suddenly an unclosed gestalt appeared at the end, which was supposed to show how terrible revenge is that a person loses everything and not only friends and favorite, but also two fingers))), but it made a completely neutral impression on me) And only the flashback at the end, which began to cause a storm of emotions, also merges dryly) All the same, this is an indicator that this part cannot be apart from the first and the fact that since 2013, the requirements from the players have grown up and so for many fans, which I am not doing a sequel, well, at least it’s not nice) And the reviews and ratings licked by the game press for nishtyaks do not help the case at all) In the end, how For me, the assessment of the games is absolutely justified, because the game has huge problems at the heart of the storyline and it’s time for Naughty Dog to roll over already, many studios from Blizzard to Bethesda have already started, but these studios do not want to enter the trend) This is a good start in principle) Although I can’t promise that I’ll change my impressions from time about the game, as they say, everything is lapped, but it is not known which way.     One of the best games of this generation. Immersive storytelling, exciting gameplay, and above all, the plot.
    On par with RDR2. Haven't enjoyed that much since RDR2

    A story focused game with extremely poor storytelling. It doesn't matter how pretty you make your game, if the gameplay is average, the story is bad and the characters unrelatable.

    The last of us didn't need a sequel and this game adds nothing to do the universe.

    I understand why many people didn't like this game. The plot may be too harsh on some players. But I got an unheard-of pleasure from it, as well as from the gameplay, graphics and atmosphere.

    Just finished the game and got the message.
    The game teach us the cicle of hate and how to break it.
    Graphics is the best of this gen and the gameplay flows perfectly.

    Story has ruined everything. if you kill one of the most beloved characters early in the game (Joel) and want to bring in new main playable characters like Abby, you HAVE to bring WAY more backstory in order to make the player feel with her.
    I mean she KILLED Joel!

    A major letdown for the fans who fell in love with Joel and Ellie in the original game. Both characters and fans deserved better than this for the sequel. Gaming in general deserves better. Bummer...

    This game is by far one of my favourites under graphics! Level of detail is amazing, animation to movements, details on terrain, clothes, weapons, you name it! It looks gorgeous! Everywhere you look is a piece of art so bonus points for that! Level design is also awesome!
    For the story? Not so great. The writing is bad.
    The fans have been wondering and theorizing on what's going to happen for our main characters for Joel and Ellie and other lovable characters during the first one. After long years of waiting... we get a revenge story that is not fulfilled.
    The only best moments in the game by far is the flashbacks with young Ellie and Joel. Awesome moments and makes your heart warm.
    To be honest, I really wish Joel should've got more play time... he died fairly quick during the beginning of the game.
    The ending... oh that ending... what was the point of the whole game when it ends just like that... you don't get to kill Abby, you let her live, and go back home with two missing fingers with an abandoned farmhouse, played the guitar, had a flashback to Joel, leave and roll the credits. What was the point of all that? Abby KILLED Joel ffs! A lovable and badass character killed just like that. Ellie's drive on killing Abby is off the roof then her drive just switched off out of no where in the end... It almost as if this sequel was pointless.

    Would I recommend this game as a Last of Us fan? Nope.

    Would you buy this full price? Nah... buy it when it goes on a big sale or wait until PS+ makes it a free game in the future.

    Is this game gonna be Game of the Year? Absolutely not!

    For hardcore Naughty Dog fans, I am truly sorry about this game. I can feel the huge disrespect in your face. A long awaited game is here and ends in a really horrible way.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
