    This game is such a bad sequel, I expected waaay better. But this is just a straight up failure. Also don’t trust the reviews that say that this game is good, they are either journalists, fake or sjw **** Please don’t waste your 60 dollars buying this game don’t even buy it on sale.     Game was very well executed, enjoyed throughly. Played through 30 hours of game play within 2.5 days. Highly reccomend.

    the gamplay and music and graphic, sound design everything is the best.

    the structure is amazing. from flash backs to swithes between characters. whithout play as abby this game could've lost and forgot between many revenge stories.    … Expand

    All you could ask for a game of this genre. An interesting plot, strong characters, great music, great gameplay, ton of hours for the main quest, and a good replay value.

There are more cut scenes and walking than actual gameplay. SPOILER ALERT..... they destroyed all of your favorite characters. They dumb down Joel's character on purpose to make him weak and stupid. In the first game he was very smart and had a ton of experience. He didn't even trust a guy that was sick on the road. He chose to run him over. Later we find out that stranger on the road was not sick and it was all a set up. They do everything to make you dislike Joel and continue to spit on him. They have a trans female/male shoot him in the leg and torture him with a golf club right in the first 2 hours of the game. They spit on him literally. They made Ellie unlikable and a selfish human being. She kills everyone and continued to blame Joel for saving her life. She cared so much in saving humanity because she has the immunity but instead she became a lesbian and chose not to reproduce. Let that sink in. She even let's Abby the one that tortured and murdered Joel in front of her get away with it. Abby also bit off two of Ellie's fingers. Her letting Abby go is basically saying Joel deserved dying. A loveable character who is the main character of the game. There was no justice for Joel. This game robbed everything from you just for shock value. The current narrative of destroying the male character to make the female character rise is very weak story telling. It is disrespectful to both genders. Females even hate it. Worst of all the pacing of the story is horrible. You literally play as Abby the character we hate for half the game. They tried so hard to make us like her but none of it worked. This game is a waste of time and money and should have never been created as a sequel. The critics are liars and they don't care about what the fans want. They only care about their political narrative and force you to like something that you will never accept. Then they insult you by calling you names because you don't like the product they are praising. They are the worst kind of human being. Trust the gamers that actually love playing the kind of video games you like. Those are the ones who you should listen to. Vote with your wallet and avoid this dumpster fire. Why care for a game created by a studio that is run by Neil Druckmann who is a male feminist and does not care about the fans and the people he works with. That's why 75 percent of Naughty dog left the company due to how he treated them. This game is created by people that don't care about you and backed by people that hate you. The game wasn't made for the fans and gamers. Vote with your wallets and avoid this at all cost. Especially how they are trying to trick everyone with false advertisement into buying this. Who tf thought it is a good idea to kill Joel and then to let us play with the killer for 10-15 hours.     Absolutely smasging game, great attention to detail on every step. The story is superb and it does keep you on your toes. It would have been a 10/10 if not for a little to much of LGBT+ agenda beeing pushed that really didn't fit the story at certain points.

But as a sequel of LEGENDARY p1 this is a complete **** Ruined plot, ruined characters. If you, writers, think that the entire game-community and fans of p1 are the gays from Twitter, you are wrong. The majority of that "people" who yelling about gay tolerance and feminism wouldn't even play this game. But who would, they DIDN'T WANTED AND EXPECTED that **** that you've done. We wanted continuation of the story about Joel and Ellie with her immunity, not the story about gay Ellie and Dina, fighting with group because of male-looking "woman", who killed Joel, and her trans-friend Lily who has problems with accepting her gender. I (and about the whole community) refuse to take this as the part 2 of The Last of Us. This is fantasies of a sick person, thrown on the legacy of p1.… Expand

    This game, play with my feelings. Sometimes I'm happy, then sad and then angry, then happy again.
    I'm so grateful to the developers for this story. It have conquered my heart. Technically, the game is also a masterpiece. It runs smoothly on the PS4 Pro, the loading times are short and the graphics is are bombastic. Thanks, Naughty Dog.

    I don't know why people get upset about the story, It was completely well developed. The story gave us a full view of every character, the happy life of Joel after Part I, and a great vengeance story for both characters Ellie and Abby. The loss, the pain, and the emotion showed in the game are even better than any movie. People just get upset about ND killed the iconic character but JoelI don't know why people get upset about the story, It was completely well developed.     After waiting over 5 years and a wonderfull part 1, I expected this game to be at least a 7,5/10. But after only a few hours, i realized that the story isn't nearly as good and coherent as the first one was. If i am objectively this game is a 4/10 but subjectivly i can only give it a 1,5/10 because my expectations were so high.

The game was quite good, i know the story is kinda sucks and confusing, but that's not what the real problem that i saw now, all i see people kept being salty over a story like most of these people are more worst than Neil, and they kept calling his rude names like more rude than Neil himself, all of this drama could have been avoided if those youtubers didn't upload leaks and making a various hate content on people that worked hard on this game, i don't want to be participated in these drama but what i have to say is: Story is 7.5/10, gameplay overall 8/10, graphics 8.5/10, the animation including dismemberment i will give it 8,5/10, and for the characters i'll give it around 7/10, so overall the total is: 90 (9).… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have finished the Last of Us Part II and I must say this really got me. The mechanics, the graphics and the sound are great. The way you interact with the environment makes tlou2 a very realistic and immersive experience of its own kind. However the main aspect of games like the last of us, the story, is really bothering me. The story pretty much starts off with Joel’s death. His death had a very powerful effect on me and most people probably. This death had such a powerful effect not only because of the fact that it is Joel who they killed, it’s also the way he got murdered which bothered me a lot. Later the character who killed him, Abby, was also the one we played for half of the game. This part of the game was a way to make us sympathize with Abby, but it didn’t really let me do that. For the entirety of her part, I couldn’t care less for what Abby experienced, let alone even having any kind of sympathy for this character. It was the opposite: Every time I died as Abby, I got happy, I cheered. The Ellie part compensates until a certain point for the failure of the Abby part, but only until Ellie becomes the one who is the most lost. The ending is the ultimate height of futility. What is it even worth trying and fighting for? That’s a question not only Ellie has to ask herself, but also the player. What is even the point in playing if every action leads to more loss and loneliness? Perhaps this is what Naughty Dog tried to accomplish and if it were the case, then perhaps they had the wrong goal in mind.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
