It does certain things amazing (gameplay, graphics) but also is terrible with the story and getting fans excited. We wanted a game where you play as Ellie and where Ellie can be flawed but not evil. Instead, they turned Ellie into a monster, Joel into a bumbling fool, and a sadistic murderer into a heroine. The ending was depressing, and I felt worse after finishing it, not better.… Expand

    It is a beautiful game. One of the Best a played in the last years. Even the worst rate in this site have a several links because People want to explain what they feel. It is a rollercoaster of emotion. History is complex and have several layers. You even don' t if you won at the end. It is a work of art made in videogame model. Realistic and fun combat system.     It is without a doubt that this is one of the best games of our generation, maybe even of all time. You may dislike some parts of the story, but for me it all worked perfectly. The risks, the characters, the writing, outstanding acting, fun game-play, gorgeous graphics, sound design and breathtaking music all come together into such complex experience i haven't forgot about it even monthsIt is without a doubt that this is one of the best games of our generation, maybe even of all time.     Best game I’ve ever played. The subtleties are outstanding. I’ve played this game over and over again. The haters just have a hard on for Joel or they can’t handle the idea of two female protagonists that don’t fit their expectations. Beautiful and brutal game that really captures how **** up life can be

    While improvements to the graphics have been made the story falls flat. Why didn't the developers concentrate more on delivering a engaging story that stayed true to the characters that we grew attached to. The developers could have done so much more, instead they seem to be putting more effort into political correctness and dismissing the concerns of the fans what happened?

    Druckmann spat in my soul with the plot of this game. SJW agenda and revenge for the sake of revenge, to understand that revenge is bad - that's all you need to know about this such a long story. After this game, I can no longer take the first part seriously. The game series is dead.

I know it has been 2 years and i was waiting for this game for 4 years but when i saw how was the story, i decided not to ruin my love for the first game. 5 days ago i saw it was on sale so i bought it, and listen to me people it really doesn't worth it. the **** story line and the way that they try to make us love Abby throughout the game is completely ridiculous.
    And i'm not even going to talk about how they just killed Joel in the first hour of the game.

The thing about this game is that people are mad about Joel’s death, which is understandable, but you have to realize it was the more realistic option. Joel, Tommy, Ellie, Abbie, Dina, all of them have to die eventually. And I’m an apocalypse, death is bound to happen. The story was utter greatness. Everything that happened was just plain stunning. graphics are the best I’ve seen out of any game I’ve ever played. And the gameplay exceeds the first game by a long shot. While Abbie may have been irritating at first, playing as her, and seeing all the back flashes and everything made me realize that there was a reason for Joel’s death. This game has a fun and exiting twist around every corner and if I had to, I would’ve spent every penny in the world on it.… Expand

    A good game in general, a worthy continuation of the previous part. But the abundance of obscene LGBT scenes is depressing. Propaganda blossoms and smells unfortunately.

    Me esperaba que fuese mejor que el primero, pero fue una gran decepción.
    Historia aburrida, previsible, personajes sin carisma y la música no está al nivel de TLOU. Lo único positivo fue lógicamente la evolución gráfica.

    It's the most incredible and realistic game that I ever played. The sensations that the game gaves is something that you will never experience. I love that at the end it leaves you with a message that apparently many people did not understand.It is simply a work of art, haters will never understand that.

    Please come into this game open minded, don't be influence by the horrible review bombings. This game is fantastic with so many great aspects. So many reviews are made by people who have never played the game or a merely bandwagoning off what their favorite youtuber or streamer said.

Jogo de excelente qualidade, tanto técnica quanto narrativa, vai se tornar um clássico, ele não é perfeito, principalmente em alguns detalhes na história, mas não vai deixar de ser bom por esses erros, personagens excelentes, todos muito bem construídos, estava com um pouco de medo nessa parte, pois iríamos controlar a "vilã" no jogo também, mas acabei gostando mais dela do que da própria Ellie que foi se perdendo durante o jogo, acredito que tenha sido proposital isso, mas eu não passo pano na cabeça dela, mereceu tudo de ruim que aconteceu. É um jogo que vai deixar o público dividido, mas eu pelo menos gostei bastante.… Expand

Hear me out... yes Joel's death was heartbreaking and unexpected but it sets the stage for the story, and yes not being able to kill abby at the end is annoying although necessary. Anyone who thought that the ending was going to be uplifting and heart-warming needs to remember that they are playing the last of us, not some kids game, a post apocalyptic world where everything is supposed to be grim and dark after society collapsed. Everyone has to revert to insanely horrific actions in order to save themselves and everyone around them. I also see people complaining about how naughty dog ruined Joel's character but remember at the start of the first game he trusted no one but throughout the story he begins to trust again? Years after staying safe in a town with hundreds of other people means that you will eventually trust again but in Joel's case it came back to bite him. I loved this game and no matter what other people say I think it will always remain an amazing game with great story telling.… Expand

    Why controversial? - Most gamers are all getting used to this classic narrative that existed from the very beginning: You are a hero and a good person who only kill bad/evil people and save the world! - This game broke this narrative. You are not a good person. You are also a not bad person. You are just a person! A human with all strength    Perfect game but of course controversial !

In other games/movies, revenge is always good. Revenge is the core of the story. But not this one! Here you feel empty in the end because Revenge is empty!
    - Besides, the game mechanics and graphics are very good.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
