    A phenomenal game with heavy, emotional themes of loss and revenge. Great gameplay, a rich, well detailed game world and realistic characters you quickly grow to care about and invest in. I can't understand why this game has such a low user score. Don't listen to the naysayers this game is amazing!

    Best game for PS 4 I played so far. Extremely brave story and the innovative game in so many aspects. I am very sorry for anyone who rates this game poorly because these people seem to have personal issues that have nothing to do with this beautiful game! Praise Naughty Dog

Entweder sind diese schlechten Bewertungen von der Konkurenz gekauft oder es sind irgendwelche dämlichen XBox Fanboys die nicht drauf klar kommen, dass Playstation einfach die besseren Spiele macht.     If you "did not like" (in way of speaking), it is ok, but if you are reviewing it: 1. Without even finish it. 2. Because it shows more inclusion (LGBTTQ) 3. Just played a couple of hours 4. Because the release was delayed.    AWESOME!!

People may find it hard that a favourite character dies early and youre forced to look at them from a different view. In our eyes ellie and joel were the good guys but from other perspectives, in other characters eyes they were not. The graphics are stunning and i felt the game was alot scarier in some ways. There were alot more dynamics. Although the other characters didnt steal my heart, i liked the aspect of looking through their eyes, playing some parts of the games from different views and understanding where everybody is coming from. The stealth is very fun to do. I loved the different groups that were featured in the game. Sometimes there is a throwback which is playable, and it brings a back memories from the game before. It feels nostalig. I dont really feel there are politics in the game. Abby is strong but in an age where zombies and infected are roaming and people are your enemies aswell it pays to be strong. Its not weird in my eyes.… Expand

    El juego es hermoso, la historia podrá cambiar totalmente a lo que fue el primer juego pero quien no cambia con el tiempo. Seguramente todos los que comentan cosas negativas son personas estancadas y no quieren salir de su zona de confort por miedo a experimentar cosas nuevas. Hay que arriesgarse y Naughty Dog lo hizo. Si no querían gastar su dinero en un juego, para eso está YouTube,El juego es hermoso, la historia podrá cambiar totalmente a lo que fue el primer juego pero quien no cambia con el tiempo. Every negative review I've seen seems to either come from some bigot, someone who hasn't played the game but doesn't like what the leaks said, or someone who simply didn't like the game and labels it as "trash writing" or "bad story" with little explanation.     Muy bueno, la gente que da malas notas es gente que ni siquiera a probado el juego o sé guía por solo spoilers sin probar el gameplay y las otras personas, sé centra mucho en la historia por qué están acostumbrados a jugar juegos genéricos dónde la historia va fuera de la realidad, y the last of us 2 nos muestra unas decisiones y personalidades de personajes más humanos y reales.

    I've read some of the negative 'reviews' here and it doesn't really make sense to me. I have the feeling that alot of these come from conservative Americans who see conspiracies everywhere (suddenly there is a hidden political agenda in this game?). Read a book, travel, become open minded and play the game again, maybe you'll love it then, just like I did.

    I absolutely love this game. I was a huge fan of the first game so when I saw this was announced I pre-ordered immediately. What an amazing job they’ve done over there at Naught Dog. A very talented team all across the board. I’m excited to see what other games they put out in the future! All of you guys who are bombing this rating because you think it’s pandering to the SJWs need to get aI absolutely love this game.     Very much enjoyed, this game shows that revenge is a never ending cycle. When revenge is achieved by you, the person who was hurt for you to feel better now wants that same vengeance at your expense.

    This game is insanely beautiful and a very good game all in all.
    Don't pay attention to the butthurt snowflake 0/10 reviews that claim there is an "agenda" at play just because there are LGBT characters. It's sad that there are still people out there this ignorant and hateful in 2020.
    Anyway, it is a great game. I would say the most beautiful on the PS4 yet. Story is very good too.

    Os gráficos são ótimos mesmo que não seja 4k (não acho que 4k seja algo válido para determinar se um jogo é bom ou não por que nem todo mundo tem monitores ou tvs que suportam essa qualidade), a jogabilidade é muito boa, lembra o primeiro mas com aprimoramentos, o jogo tenta ser realista em algumas partes o que resulta em alguns bugs mas nada que atrapalhe o gameplay d nada que não possaOs gráficos são ótimos mesmo que não seja 4k (não acho que 4k seja algo válido para determinar se um jogo é bom ou não por que nem todo mundo tem monitores ou tvs que suportam essa qualidade), a jogabilidade é muito boa, lembra o primeiro mas com aprimoramentos, o jogo tenta ser realista em algumas partes o que resulta em alguns bugs mas nada que atrapalhe o gameplay d nada que não possa ser corrigido com atualizações.… Expand

    I finished this game. I loved every minute of it.

    I see a lot of reviews stating that if you like this game you are a simp, or if you hate this game you are a bigot...both are equally wrong. Entertainment is subjective. And it's wrong to be judged for liking something that suits your taste. I love this game because it's bleak, it's not a fairytale ending for anyone. And it talks about what would happen if we go to that dark place that makes us hurt ppl.

    The way I see it, if the first game is about a father who lost his daughter, the second game is about two daughters, both have lost their fathers and they both want justice and both take the darkest route for that. While Abby was forever changed from the violence of the first game, Ellie was trying to run away from the same violence while also fighting that survivors guilt that she didn't have a choice to save the world because of her adoptive father's actions.

    It was Abby who struck first, and rightfully so but the way it was done might not sit well with the gamers, I agree. But all of this is not happening in a world where law and order are practiced, that world is over and this is a more realistic portrayal of life during the apocalypse so it makes sense that Abby did what she did, in the way that made sense to her.

    Ellie on the other hand was just starting to make amends with Joel and was looking ahead for a new start with her adoptive dad, and it was violently taken away from her. So her anger is justified here as well.

    By the end of the second act of the game we see where their actions have led both of our characters towards, Ellie gets disgusted by her own actions after killing an innocent pregnant woman who had nothing to do with Abby except for being present when Joel got killed, while at the same time she got Jesse murdered, Dina and Tommy gravely injured in her pursuit of vengeance. This action opens Ellie's eyes towards the violence she has shelled out, and she stops her quest for vengeance. Meanwhile Abby, who after killing Joel has no more purpose in life goes on her own adventure that mirrors Joel's from the first game, with Lev, and in her adventure she looses everything, because she found the mistakes of her ways, she stopped seeing things as black and white, she ended up helping a couple of Seraphite kids, and saw the humanity in them, while it gave her a new purpose, it came at a cost, she lost everyone she cared about and the love and respect for the people who took her in after she left the fireflies. When she wants to leave the world of violence and finally understands to empathize with her fallen and weakened enemy she gets pulled back in due to the death of her friends. For a bit she goes back to her own violent ways, killing Jesse, Shooting and injuring Tommy, Almost killing Dina, but she was stopped by Lev and she returns back to her new self, and ventured out to Santa Barbara.

    But our karma always follows us, Abby and Lev get captured and brutally tortured by slave traders, and imprisoned, much like how the WLF treated the Seraphites in the start of the second act. Over here she pays for her sins.

    Ellie on the other hand still feels like she has failed Joel, and has difficulty living the perfect life she is having with Dina and JJ, she has PTSD and wants to feel normal, so she picks up her guns again and rides to finish off Abby for once and for all, and there is a cost here which is she will Lose Dina, JJ and a peaceful family life all over again.

    Ellie finds and half-heartedly tries to fight a weakened Abby to bring an end to the chaos she carries in her mind. But doesn't finish her.This last act of violence would have made Ellie completely unredeemable in her mind, she would have lost herself to the darkness and it was tempting to give in to that. But imagine she killed Abby, what then? Will she kill Lev, a kid who was not a part in this as well? This game is about costs that we and our loved ones pay in our needless pursuit of violence to get even. And it features flawed but natural human beings.    … Expand

    I honestly don't get all the low reviews. I pre-ordered it and played it while avoiding all the spoilers beforehand. It was glorious for me. I tried to lock myself up and got into it. The story, gameplay, graphics, sound, acting, voice work is utter perfection. The motivations of each character felt authentic and I can empathize with them.

The Game ends with ellie sitting in the water on the beach in Santa Barbra, she let's Abby Go. So When Joel Dies, I'll explain why right now this had to happen in the story because one of the last conversations that joel had with ellie. Ellie said "I was supposed to die in that hospital" then Elie says "My Life would have **** mattered" joel replies with if the lord gave me another chance at that I wouldn't change a thing" and ellie responds with I know then she says "I dont know how long it will take but I would like to try to forgive you for it" The Game Is Ultimately About Forgiveness and how to forgive your loved ones it's not about revenge that's what they make you think with the marketing which is extremely smart IMO AGAIN THIS IS MY OPINION… Expand

In the beginning it was easy to hate Abby, she brutally killed my favorite character, destroying the relationship between Ellie and Joel that I bought the game to see further develop. However, once swapping to Abby’s point of view and understanding why Abby killed Joel, I found it hard to be mad. And that’s the point of this game, yes it is called the last of us, but there are many people in the world doing what they can to survive after the outbreak.… Expand

    The Last of Us 2 improves on on the original in ever way. The game packed with emotional moments. And the gameplay is raw and brutal. It’s not the easiest game to play. The combat is brutal and tense. But so is this world. I find that every few hours I have to step back and reflect on everything that’s just happened. But is this game a masterpiece!? Yes...yes it is.

Poniendo flashbacks en los momentos precisos. Nos quisieron mostrar que en un mundo apocaliptico todos están jodidos psicologicamente, y que todos son los malos dependiendo del punto de vista. Y al final Ellie perdonó a Abby porque se dió cuenta que la venganza sólo trae más venganza y que nunca va a poder tener la conciencia tranquila.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. People are destroying this game without even playing it, just because of a few spoiler. Do I prefer this one? No, the first game was better in terms of storytelling.
    But this one is awesome, we are looking at the other side of the story. Playing as Ellie and Joel makes us believe that they’re the good guys. Long story short: in TLOU world there are no good or bad guys, everyone just tries to survive. Joel and Ellie killed a lot of innocent people, just like Abby’s father. We are seeing the story on another perspective.
    Did I like watching Joel die that way? No, of course. I cried my eyes out because I loved his character, but saying he deserved to die in a better way is far from the truth. He is not a hero, he is a survivor. We would’ve liked to see him die in a better way just because we grow closer to his character in the first game. Secondly, how can you say the gameplay didn’t improve? And don’t let me talk about the graphic, amazing.
    So, in conclusion, I understand that you’re shocked because of Joel’s death, I understand you seek revenge towards Abby, but in my opinion Ellie did what was right, she stopped the cycle of violence. I liked also the reference to the first game, Ellie saying to Sam that what scares the most is ending up alone.. that’s the only thing I would change.
    I think she deserves a happy ending with Dina and their son. She’s been through too much sh*t to be alone, again. Maybe ND could make a DLC or something.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I am not usually one to write reviews of any sorts, but the bombing of bad reviews for this game that are straight up bad just had me feeling like putting in some positivity.

    Some points in here I can absolutely understand. While the sotry isn't bad, I do definitely feel like it has less of an impact on me than the story of the first game did. The previous one was a beautiful journey with two central characters getting to know each other through this journey and bonding, ultimately turning into their own little family.
    You won't get this with this game.
    The second part goes into a lot darker theritories and is less about telling telling a story about a journey. Nevetheless, I did like the story. Not everybody might agree with it, but in the end of the day things like these are subjective to everyone.

    Talking about gameplay, there was mainly one thing I did not like: Playing Abby.
    While I do understand what ND tried to do here (telling us her side of the story), the actual impact it had was very marginal. The entire section where we, the players, play as Abby feels empty and somehwat pointless. I would not have needed 8h+ of playing her to understand what she went through and that the things Ellie did have consequences. This could have been done in a 2-3h of gameplay and really did not need an interruption of over 8h of playing the actual main character, Ellie.

    Anyhow... For me, this game deserves a good 8/10 since everything else it has to offer is on the highest level you can wish for in any game. The story does have some rough edges, but is generally good. I would recommend everyone to, whilest not a master piece like the first one, play this game.

So many emotionally draining moments, from Joel's death to the ending. It was a heartbreaking story with Ellie seemingly losing everything, Dina and JJ included as a result of her hunting for revenge for Joel's death. Hands down best game I've ever played, it's even the first one that has made me cry (Sarah's death and Ellie's incident with David made me come close).

    Visually, the game was absolutely stunning. The reflections were fantastic and the lighting was superb, even on a base PS4 with normal 1080p TV. It felt so real and in particular the cut scenes where more often than not it was like watching a scene out of a movie instead of a game. Great animation too, superb; the movement was so fluid and I loved the transitions from cut scene to gameplay, very well done!!

    The soundtrack is something else. It's phenomenal. It really adds to the experience in my opinion. The music along with the heartbreakingly brutal story just works, it's memorable. I could listen to a piece of music from the game and remember which song was in what bit of the game (I.e. All Gone playing when Joel dies when you're playing and playing All Gone without playing the game you just know where in the game that song is.

    Obviously the game isn't perfect, I do wish the Abby segment wasn't as long as it was BUT I do think that got to show is more about her, her motives for wanting to kill Joel and her change as a character (once being a devout Wolf, then going AWOL and helping Seraphites.
    Yes there was that scene on the boat with Owen and Abby and maybe it was a bit too much but this is an 18 and we know about their past relationship so I don't have many complaints there.

    I loved the brutality, the combat felt too real with the incredible graphics, very detailed.

    I've already played through it twice (first completed 21/06/20) and I still felt the same way as I did when completing the game for a second time. Even when you know what's coming it still gets you emotionally, and the Rat King is still just as scary and revolting as the first time. Fantastic game!    … Expand

The graphics and gameplay were so fluid and phenomenal, at times I was just amazed at how well this game looked and felt as I played. A lot of people complain about the story, but they must not have finished the game because it all makes perfect sense, you actually feel the loss and grief of Joel’s death throughout the entire game, which makes the whole point of the story make sense. Abby is a total bone-head and as Mel says, a piece of **** but in the end, she loses everything and gets what she deserves. She also spares Ellie twice in the game and she tries to redeem herself . The game did not push any agenda like these bigots review bombing rn are saying, it barely mentions that one character is trans, but it isn’t sugar coated either. I am still recovering for a few days of beating it because I literally mourn for some of these losses. The game is jaw-dropping at moments and the gameplay is irresistibable. I will be replaying it again. Absolute masterpiece.… Expand

    Amazing game worth every penny.Everything good comes to an end same as in TV shows,movies or games,our favourite characters dies.Nevertheless i loved every single minute spent in this game from very begining till the end.I don't care what other people say,it's their own opinion which i cannot take from them,but for me personally this game is a masterpiece and must play for fans of the first part.

    I have put 40 hours in this game, i have platinumed it to completion and fully finished it twice. The game is incredible, it does better then the first in every way. Game play is fun and exciting, story is gripping and emotional, acting is amazing. Graphics are beautiful and screenshot worthy. This game deserves to be recognised as one of the greats along with every other naughty dog game

    Valutare negativamente un videogioco senza nemmeno averlo giocato o finito ha davvero un senso?
    Il finale può essere sicuramente messo in discussione, ma, a parer mio, solo da chi ha vissuto in prima persona l'opera; da chi ha passato 30 ore con il controller in mano, a giocare e vivere la storia di Ellie ed Abby.
    La maggior parte delle persone che sotto i video o su Metacritic scrive “Tutto questo non ha senso: l'ha risparmiata dopo un intero gioco in cui cerca di ucciderla e assassina chiunque. 0/10” non ha nemmeno idea di cosa possa essere passato per la testa alla protagonista in quel momento. Non mi permetterei mai di giudicare un videogioco in modo estremamente negativo o di lasciare una recensione con un voto basso senza prima averlo giocato e finito. It was an amazing game, beautiful visuals and amazing character design. The game had points in the story that captured my attention and made me getbvery emotional. All i can say is most of the reviews people have put up aren't from people whose finished the game or even played it, they've never gotten to experience its amazing performance. The game is very well laid oit and made it is eaily the game of the years.Playing this game give me the same feeling and love as i had for the first one.before readind any old review just play the game yourself and try to understand the kind of game that was made.     Bold story. Despite what people say, this game stands out on its own as Naughty Dog takes risks never taken before. This game is the definition of an emotional roller coaster. Best PS4 only exclusive in my opinion. As good as the first if not better
