    Abby got her revenge and Ellie didn't ...and I(and most players) really only care about Ellie and Joel....this is why I hate the story...and I have to play as the characters I hate for almost half the game? Wtf is this sh!t? The gameplay and graphics are okay.

    The first game was ok I'd give 6/10. Objectively is not a good GAME, it's a good movie but as a game is lacking. You could have made this game in the 2000's and gameplay wise It would be the same, so for that reason I don't like It. AI sucks and halfway through is getting repetitive, and you can't argue with that, you may not care but I do and It's important 'cause this is a game not aThe first game was ok I'd give 6/10. I've read the spoilers before the game was released and I thought "I get the point of the story and what's trying to do but is poorly executed". Here it's the game and people pretty much hate it.     The title of this game should not be “last of us” there is no “us” in the game.

    Just suggestions for the title “The Woke - wrath of man women”

    P.S no matter how much you paid Metacritic or IGN this game still suck.

To top it off, we dont even get to kill Abby in the end, the only thing that would have made having to play as her for 10 hours worth the while. The gameplay and graphics are great, but the storyis unbearable. All I can do now is uninstall the game. If I had gotten a physical copy >'d break the disk, not sell it or gift it to someone, it's too unbearable of a game to burden someone else to play it.… Expand

But I personally play in many games, include the Last of US 2 because of the story which they did the Last of the US. And they just destroy all magic of the original tale. So I give 1 point - I don'tI could describe my feeling as a BIG disappointment. Yes, some people could say - hey, developers did a great job to provide good graphics, UX/UI, you should be grateful for this. Yes, true. I avoided all leaks, bought the special edition of this, got the tlou edition ps4 years back, beat the original close to 10 times (mostly on grounded difficulty) and played thousands of matches of the multiplayer across the ps3 and ps4 versions. They betrayed the people like me who helped pay for this sequel and waited 7 years. For what? All so that Anita Sarkeesian can beat gamers to death with a golf club, spit on us, steal the spotlight, punch us in the face, break our arm, bite our gaming fingers off and just walk off as the main character? I beat it twice, so this is not a BS review. The game is an actual 5-6 based on gameplay and graphics/sound. It's a fun game and the voice acting is great, but I have to give it a 0 for story and in general, because of all the fake 10s and Neil Druckmann lying to us. You don't have to be some right wing trump voter to hate this game. You just have to be somebody who wanted a good story. With all the forced virtue signaling, the game sacrifices the story in favor of sending some message. Trust a hardcore fan and save your money.… Expand

    Great graphics aside, I felt nothing more than resentment. Not at the game, but at the writers that squandered a great part 1. Finished the game, but that felt like a chore. Seems like it was written by emotional 14 years old; it is not very intelligent.

    Review bombing negatively because "critics" are review bombing positively. The pacing is glacial and the game is a lot buggier than exceptable. The gameplay doesn't change much from the previous game. The story is shallow and full of plot contrivences, holes, and retcons. Wouldn't recommend if you liked the first game.

    The game is a punch in the face for all fans of the first game. U have to play the murderer of joel for 50% of the playtime. Story is **** like in the new star wars movies. The visuals were great, the gameplay was similar to the first game, and I really enjoyed the inclusivity of LGBT+ characters. But then there's the plot. It felt forced and not thought out properly. Nor did I enjoy playing as Abby. I understand that we were supposed to feel something for her despite her wrongdoings but I just couldn't connect with her AT ALL. I absolutely understand Ellie's PTSD so heavily affecting her and I think the panic attack in the barn was AMAZINGLY well done but I don't think someone's trauma like that would make them leave their support system and family back home to hunt down a woman. The plot could have been so much better if they'd taken the time to not try and be so "edgy" with every decision they made. Stop trying to "trick" the player at every chance you get. You're crying WLF. I also don't think releasing this game with such a depressing, hopeless, and lonely ending was a very good idea during this pandemic. It's not what the world needed right now and I think that's the real reason it was delayed for a hot minute.
    I also want to point out how the "themes" were very... childish. As if the creators are trying to teach us and overplayed moral lesson in a very bland and in your face kind of way. If they wanted to have a moral lesson, no one is going to listen if it's shoved down their throat instead of sneakily woven into the story. I would have given it's a 5 but not killing their queer characters bumped it up to a 6. I also really REALLY hated the sex scene between Abby and Owen. It made me feel all sorts of bad and grossed out and uncomfortable.    … Expand

    Embora os gráficos e a jogabilidade estejam muito boas, o desenvolvimento da história que deveria ser o mais importante a Naughty Dog fez questão de tornar um lixo.
    A gente inicia o jogo com uma expectativa tão grande, e perde a motivação de joga-lo com um pequeno intervalo de tempo. Chega da um nó na garganta.

I was really hoping naughty dog wouldn’t go the cheap story route of having Ellie go on a revenge rampage for Joel’s murder. It was predictable and unsatisfying. I also didn’t like how the game tries to make the gamer feel bad for Abby, the girl who murders Joel. Even with her backstory I found her very unlikeable. I also didn’t like the political correctness naughty dog shoves down your throat. I can’t tell you how many times the main characters say JESUS. I am a Christian and tolerate all the f-bombs and violence they throw at me, but there’s no need to isolate a specific religion. The only good things about the game is the amazing gameplay, level design, and visuals. Definitely not enough to save a terrible story especially when the first Last of Us story was phenomenal. Characters' decisions didn’t make sense either. Like how Abby not only spares Ellie and Tommy’s lives at the beginning of the game but also near the end. That just wouldn’t happen in an apocalypse.     Firstly I'd like to say I don't buy/play games to be given a political lecture, I play them to be entertained. I was not entertained but was lectured a lot! Unacceptable, leave politics out of games! And I say that as an ethnic minority as well!! Now the storyline was very rushed in parts and made no sense in other parts. In the first game Joel was very suspicious of strangers and wouldn't be so easy to trust them with anything, yet he's completely ok with Abby and her group who have randomly shown up. Completely goes against his character and is a very lazy way of killing him. I don't mind Naughty Dog killing off Joel as Abby has a very valid reason for wanting her revenge, but don't do it to the detriment of his character and what he believes and stands for. Now as for Abby, I understand her reasons for revenge but Naughty Dog did not do her story justice at all. If you want me to empathise with her, then you need more than a 30 minute flashback and need to spend more time developing her relationship with her father. This could have been done and the entire Trans-Lev story could have been dropped completely. Abby's relationship with her father served a purpose to the story. Lev being a Trans did not!!!!! Secondly Abby is unrealistically muscular!! Most women body builders have that kind of build with an immaculate diet and training in the real world. I refuse to believe anyone in TLOU universe can have a diet to support a body such as that. Now while we are on the subject of unrealism, can someone explain to me why they are growing weed in the middle of an apocalypse? I mean resources are so scarce that I highly doubt that weed can be on the list of priorities. And even if they can grow it, who gets high when they know that they could get stormed by a plague of infected or rival clans? Utter stupidity!!! Now the whole story was set up to be a revenge plot. Ellie fails in her first instance in Seattle and is spared by Abby for a SECOND time!! Is Abby actually stupid?! Ellie clearly despises her and wants her dead, and instead decides to spare her again and risk her coming for her again (which she does)!! And how does Tommy survive a blatant headshot from point blank range? Now Ellie suffers from PTSD from the whole incident and goes for revenge a second time in California. She eventually goes through hell to find Abby again and has a fight with her. Then miraculously at the last instance she lets her live!!!! So she went across the country in the middle of an apocalypse TWICE, lost 2 fingers, many friends, a relationship with her girlfriend and stepson, just to let the person responsible for her suffering go free? I mean seriously?? It's 2020, how have Naughty Dog not even given us the option of 2 alternative endings where you can kill her or decide not to kill her!! Completely stupid!!! I am so insulted that this game was produced that I will not buy another Naughty Dog game or Sony game/console until serious changes are made. Stop shoving politics down our throats at every given moment, we want entertainment not political agendas!!! You're probably thinking if the gameplay was good along with graphics etc. Why have I scored the game a 0/10. It's simple, don't be political in games!!! Any game that's political is an instant 0/10 in my opinion because it's not what I pay you to produce!!! Este BODRIO de juego tiene tantos puntos malos, ilógicos, deus ex machina y así hasta el infinito, debo recalcar que es este juego carece de tanto sentido que te deja desconcertado por las cosas sin sentido que pasan una después de la otra, se nota que es un juego para agradar a la comunidades minoritarias y victimizadas pero de verdad ya es exagerado, tanto así que se vuelve innecesario, recordemos que hay muchos juegos que ponen a la mujer como protagonista, que hay más personajes gays en los gameplays y todo bien! su ingreso es natural, orgánico, y aporta, sobretodo eso APORTA, en cambio acá está metido con calzador. El otro punto que no se entiende es como un personaje secundario puede acabar de una manera tan sádica, que es lo que quieres representar? Joel actuó como un padre, cualquier padre tomaría la misma decisión, pero supongamos que debía ser castigado, ok, de esa forma, ok, de una manera absurda? bueno, estamos ante algo sin sentido definitivamente, ahora, crees que es lógico que luego de cargarse a la escencia the last of us, alguien va simpatizar con Abby (que no sabemos donde consigue los esteroides para esos brazos), es ilógico, incluso bordea lo irracional, completamente desastroso, Debo confesar que este juego fue el único que me compre en pre-venta y me he arrepentido tanto que sin importar lo que venga después, NUNCA compraré otro video juego sin antes ver re-views objetivas (ya todos sabemos que prohibieron hablar sobre Abby a los medios e influencer que jugaron unas semanas antes) porque por como está el mundo, solo falta que sigan metiendo más contenido innecesario, historias sin coherencia, para dar un mensaje, sin sentido y sin trasfondo más que la insensatez. Profundamente triste por hacer este 2020 peor del que ya es para el mundo, como dicen, siempre puede ser peor y así lo fue.
    PD: Si le dan puntuación buena a juego por gráficos y gameplay, jueguen la 1 en PS pro en un TV 4K y las diferencias no son la gran cosa, y el gameplay ha mejorado, pero tanto como para 7 años? este juego era historia, su gran puntuación fue por eso y es de ser condenado debe ser por eso. Please save your money and do not purchase this game you will regret it deeply. Art work was the only nice thing about this game and I’m sure there will be other better games with artwork just as nice. I can’t even write more about it.
