    Naughty dog straight up lied about their game. They replaced character models in trailers to make us think certain characters would be a bigger part of the story than they really were. They then tried to make a story about how bad guys aren't always bad, but the character in question was **** and they forced them onto us. Don't buy this **** game.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A 1 rating may seem harsh but it absolutely deserves it. The story was absolutely paper thin and was not told well at all. The new characters were not well developed and frankly I felt apathetic throughout. The Ellie and Dina storyline had potential to be memorable but they decided to make you play the game as another character and failed to accomplish anything any reasonable person didn't already understand about Abby.

    The gameplay is painfully and frustratingly repetitive and meaningless. This game did not need to be as long as it is.

    The game looked and sounded great. But it meant nothing because it was a waste of time playing. Like having a beautiful high performance car that doesn't run. I could go on to rip this game apart a lot more but I don't want to waste any more time with this game. The saving grace is that I bought a physical copy so I will be returning it.    … Expand

    Easily one of the worst games ever. Bad story, boring gameplay, not-so-good graphics. Developers just took everything that was good in the original The Last of Us and just threw it in the trash. In the end we have a terrible game. Easily 0/10, not recommended to anyone

Not to mention most of these things happen enough in the original already. Where was their innovation? A jump button and pregnant women?

    En simples palabras , mala historia, lo siento pero un juego basado en su historia no puede contar una historia sin sentido , ya que parte de la historia está en el primero y en la segunda entrega es olvidada . en fin se olvidaron de los fans de la antigua entrega para traer gente nueva.

Cuando un juego tiene un final agradable se vuelve rejugable, siempre deben tratar que exista un equilibrio en cuanto a lo que te dan y te quitan. 1) El papá de Abby, las luciérnagas y Marlene merecían morir? Sí, porque querían sacrificar a Ellie para desarrollar una vacuna (aunque Ellie quería hacerlo, la decisión la estaban tomando ellos). 2) Joel merecía morir? Sí, porque mató al papá de Abby y ella tenía derecho a cobrar venganza.
    3) Abby merecía morir? Sí, por matar a Joel que era como el papá de Ellie.
    Tres desilusiones:
    A) Ellie debía matar a Abby y su grupo, porque no solo lo mataron a Joel, sino que lo escupieron después de matarlo como si fuese una sucia rata, algo que Joel jamás hizo con nadie, ni siquiera con quienes quisieron hacer daño a Ellie.
    B) Para mí la peor desilusión de todas, Ellie no quedó en buenos términos con Joel. Algo hubiese reconfortado saber que lograron superar sus diferencias y que Joel hubiese muerto sabiendo que Ellie lo perdonó. Esa última escena, en el cierre del juego, si Ellie hubiese abrazado a Joel y le hubiese dicho que lo ama y perdona hubiese sido un mejor cierre para lo que significa Joel en the last of us.. Algo hubiese reconfortado. C) Tratar de hacer ver a Abby como la víctima no me gustó en lo absoluto, no disfruté el juego con ella,... No lo quiero volver a jugar estoy decepcionado y me siento estafado... Primera y última vez que apuesto por naugthy dog en compra anticipada.     Besides the awful plot, the worts part is that it was boring. The additions to the gameplay fell dull and unispired and the ending of the game makes no sense whatsoever.

    Jogo horrível, história toda bagunçada, destruíram os bons personagens e o tempo todo o jogo força homossexualidade, política e religiao. Apenas o gráfico é bom. Sinceramente, não consigo ver uma part III para essa história tão ruim que fizeram, acabaram com a franquia.

Now what am i supposed to tell    I was terribly disappointed to see that this game that i had long expected, turns out to have little to no diversity.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This might be the most unsatisfying game I've ever played. The story and how horribly it played out is unjustifiable. Regardless of the message the writers were trying to send to the viewer about "revenge" none of the games characters that existed in the first game ever felt true to the original. Joel and Tommy in the second game come off as idiots with an affinity for wanting to walk into lion dens with meat around their bodies. Which ends up being the biggest plot point in the entire game. The entire reason things pan out the way they do is based on a writing flaw. If you wanted to kill a character at least make it true to the character. In this case that wasn't done. This also doesn't take into account the pregnancy fetish that the writers seem to have. For almost the entire game you're escorting around a pregnant woman while you're both being "total badasses". While I am all for making women look strong in video games. This felt so forced that it leaves a bad taste in almost everyones mouth. We might as well talk about how poorly paced the game is. You are for about 12 hours of gameplay playing through a 2 day period through the perspective of two different characters. Both being insanely unlikable. While doing absolutely ridiculously unbelievable **** Like having a pregnant ally running around doing more work then an Army soldier in the trenches of an all out war or getting surrounded my enemies and someway shooting yourself through it all as a teenage girl with 12 rounds of ammo in a semi auto revolver. For this 12 hour time span you also have to play as the anatagonist for half of it. (HOW COOL. VERY VERY ORIGINAL DEVS.) With the anatagonist somehow being even more unlikeable then the now main protagonist Ellie. The time spent playing as Abby (The antagonist) is painful and will leave the player questioning if it's even worth making it to the ending of the game or if they should uninstall the game and play something else. Now I will say this idea isn't entirely bad if the gameplay wasn't insanely repetitive. Literally the entire game is. Go here, Kill People/Infected, Do the objective, Oh wait can't do this objective til I do this other objective there, Go there, Kill People/Infected, Do the objective, Go back, Kill People/Injected, Complete objective. This cycle occurs constantly through the game. The only nuance that exists between combat encounters is whenever you finally get a new weapon but even then it get's boring quick and it happens so unoften that it doesn't improve really anything. With all that being said. To the devs I must say. Playing as Abby was a horrible idea. Killing Joel was done so bad that it's unjustifiable. Pregnant women aren't Superman, Your characters aren't as likeable as you think they are. Your pacing choices made the game so grueling to play that the FBI could legitmately use your game as a torture method. The message about revenge you were trying to convey isn't new or cool or necessary. If you had nothing story wise. Just don't make another game. Your franchise is dead now. The devs look like complete jokes. Good job. Thanks for wasting everyones time and money.… Expand

Gameplay felt the same as first so that didnt bother me but as a single player game the story is so cruical to its success and this story failed miserably. They turned joe into a complete idiot to get him killed. Then ellie goes on a revenge spree and doesnt even get the pay off at the end. Sorry in a post apocalyptic world you dont let a person just walk away out of mercy. Thats probably the dumbest crap ive played in a long time.

    The gameplay of part 2 is similar, or slightly better than part 1. The graphics part is close to other recent Naughty Dog titles e.g. Uncharted 4, so the gameplay & graphics score about 9/10.
    Story: 0/10 No need to explain. The game challenges the bottom line of storytelling by failing every part of the story.
    Overall score: 0/10 because the game is all about its story.

    For me it just felt like the only message of the game was hate is bad. The creators purposely chose to deceive, and lie to its audience who loved the original characters. I truly wanted to play as Joel, and be a companion with Ellie. Moreover, Niel Druckmann purposefully chose to destroy the original characters, and manipulate the emotions of people to purchase a game, die hard fans, would otherwise have let go if only told the truth. It’s truly a lack of leadership, talent, and vision which leads to a game as this to be made. Consequently, because of the display of poor lack of character by Druckmann; I’m actually now convinced Amy being forced out of Naughty Dog by Neil’s wishes wasn’t ever a lie, only a slight of hand to get his name out on top; the same way he chose to raise Abby an unwanted absurd character to hero status who deserved no recognition from a audience who never expected her. You’re sick Druckmann!! You must truly believe the mind of gamers are easily manipulated. This game feels like it’s made to insult : family, hope, common sense, God, and relationship while protecting evil. I have no idea where you guys cried after playing it , but I’m pretty sure you lied about your tears as well. Reader..... This game was made to hurt you if you are a lover of the first game. It does not belong as a story. Please!! Bring Amy back, or get her recommendation because Druckmann vision and writing choices are obtuse.
