    Minha critica vai totalmente a história do game, pois em aspectos técnicos o jogo é excelente, porém tlou é o que é hj devido a sua história, e a ND cagou no pau justamente nesse quesito!

    Maior decepção não só da geração como da história dos games, triste ver um gráfico tão impressionante e gameplay tão bem feito desperdiçado nessa historia de merda. A partir daqui eu vou dar spoiler mesmo, se é que alguém ainda se importa..

    Já vou começar com o óbvio que é a morte do Joel, incrível como conseguiram transformar um dos melhores personagens da sony num imbecil. Lembram daquela cena no primeiro onde ele atropela um cara pedindo ajuda na estrada pq sabe q é uma armadilha? pois é, nesse aqui ele SALVA uma ESTRANHA, ai ela fala que sabe de um lugar seguro onde os AMIGOS DELA estão e o joel simplesmente CONFIA, chega la e é torturado, a ellie chega e vira uma imbecil também, entra sem olhar e assiste ele morrer da forma mais humilhante que podiam pensar nas mãos da vadia que ele salvou, abby

    Simplesmente a personagem mais desgraçada que podiam fazer, e o jogo te faz JOGAR COM ELA, SIM, VC JOGA COM A MINA QUE MATOU O JOEL. pra "humanizar" e mostrar o lado dela, que sinceramente, não é justo, joel matou o pai dela SALVANDO A "FILHA", e ela FOI ATRÁS DELE E TORTUROU ELE, mas o jogo tenta vender que a ellie querer vingança sobre isso é ruim, o que me leva ao final, que puta merda...

    Ellie mata meio mundo pra chegar na abby, mata os amigos dela, mata outras facções, mata cachorro pra caralho, pra chegar no final e deixar ela viver... isso mesmo, é uma historia de vingança onde o protagonista desiste de de vingar no ultimo minuto, imagine assistir john wick e no ultimo momento ele desistir de matar o cara que matou o cachorro dele, só pra vender uma mensagem de "o ciclo de vingança tem que parar", lembrando que a abby que foi atrás do joel, mas a ellie se vingar seria ruim pq ia continuar um ciclo, ellie matou todas as pessoas no caminho pra no final deixar viver a assassina de joel (e de outro amigo da ellie, vale lembrar)

    Até tem alguns flashbacks com o joel, mas até isso estraga o primeiro jogo, ellie descobre o que o joel fez no final do primeiro e fica puta com ele por n ter deixado ela morrer pra fazer uma vacina, mas namoral, de que ia adiantar a vacina? os infectados ainda comem as pessoas vivas, os humanos ainda matam uns aos outros por nada e não teriam recursos pra produzir a vacina pra todo mundo, ou seja, ellie ia morrer pra algumas pessoas conseguirem respirar esporos ( que só estão em lugares muito fechados) sem morrer.
    Obrigado naughty dog por me ensinar a não criar expectativas com um jogo, nunca mais vou cometer o mesmo erro!    … Expand

The sequel to arguably the most well recieved PS4 game offers new refined graphics which are absolutely breathtaking, whilst also giving the player more developed mechanics in the gameplay. This is probably one of the best games out there if you're looking for eye candy in games, from the scenery, facial expressions, level design everything is top notch. The game had several breath taking moments where the immersion was very alive. The performances by the actors must also be taken into consideration when reviewing this game, they truly did an outstanding job.

    However this game has major issues with the plot which brings my score down by alot. After only some hours in the game you're faced with a brutal act of violence towards a character which fans love, a character who they had built up an entire game by. I'm completly fine by them killing of this character but the way the character got killed off is extremely bad. This game severely lacks the respect for the characters we all loved. The game lost my interest pretty quickly after i realized i had to spend a huge amount of time playing as the character who killed Joel, Abby. I'm pretty sure the majority of the people who atleast played the first game disliked Abby intensely after she killed Joel, the thought of playing this character for that amount of time just bored me, i wasn't interested.

    The characters feel boring and i couldn't care less what happened to them. There was no connection like Joel and Ellie had, infact the best moments in the game were the flashback with Joel and Ellie. When these flashbacks were being played i thought to myself why they didn't just use what the first game did so well? There was so many other ways the story could have unfolded, it's just a shame that didn't happen. The story has some major problems with plot holes aswell that were very apparent throughout my playthrough.

    I've no idea what prompted Naughty Dog to leave everything that the fans loved about the first game. It all felt like a pitty revenge plot with over used violence and moments which tried to detach us from the characters we loved from the first game. If they had nailed this story it'd have been in my eyes a clear top score, everything besides the story was of very good quality. it dissapoints me to say that this sequel that i waited a long time for was just not what i expected.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As a huge TLOU fan, after all this time, after a masterpiece, what is left is bitterness, sadness and disappointment.

    Just to be clear the graphics and sound are amazing, the gameplay is good too, even so that its not that different from TLOU 1 (crafting, etc are basically the same).

    But what really made me love TLOU was the story, the character development you see between joel and ellie, basically becoming father and daughter, how they start from strangers to become really attached and depending on each other, to the point that they would do anything for each other.

    But its enough of talking about a masterpiece, so lets talk about TLOU part 2.
    They tremendously failing on making/delivering a product that people actually wanted, and man... what a mess.

    Ill try to be short:

    So, we got to know a girl named Dina that I really don't have any interest in, she kissed ellie and she was dating Jesse but broke up a week before, and they loved each other so much that it seems they don't care about it anymore??? huuum okay, then they give us like a sex scene too between ellie and dina, and Jesse finds them and its all ok for him, like "I didn't even love her before".

    Now, one of the most **** up thing in the story, our beloved joel that is really smart seems dumb now... so image if you kill hundreds of guys, you basically destroy the fireflies, you save an unknown person that is near your city(kinda weird) and she leads you to her friends, all armed in a room... would you tell your real name to them?? well, guess what, our now dummy Joel did! guess what happens? gets killed!.

    To be honest, I was expecting Joel death in this game, but not like this, for what sake? the sake of shock? well, I have to give them credit at that, i was shocked.
    But if you have the balls to do this, basically a cruel/idiotic plot death you have to make it up right?
    well the return is a slap in your face.

    The death of Joel could be, and deserved to be better than this.

    After that Ellie goes on a rampage to get revenge on abby that killed Joel, she kills and kills and kills... then we get some playable flashbacks with joel and ellie, they were nice but not that good IMO.

    Eventually you will know that abby had something with Owen, but now owen is with Mel, and Mel is pregnant, and later you see again abby doing sex with owen, and oh did I tell that Dina is also pregnant? Yeah! such a mess! wtf??? is this really TLOU??

    Ok, so in the end you will have a background on Abby, and you will play a lot with her actually, so you can see that she is a good girl, good intentions, so you don't hate her for killing joel...

    As I said, if Joel had a different death, and we knew a little more about Abby before, maybe, just maybe I would have some interest on that character. So they make you play with Abby, where she will find too a kid to protect like Joel, so simplistic and repetitive.
    I really didn't like to play as Abby, I wish I had a skip option so I could skip to the ending, felt so pushy... Oh btw, how is she still alive with all the noise the makes walking??? jeez... oh, btw, amazing how ellie too doesn't care with the noise, she finds a guitar and starts playing like.... maybe there are clickers here?

    So basically they put some non interesting characters as Abby, Dina, Jesse.... I couldn't care less About those Characters, at least not like this.

    And well, after all this revenge story purpose, the pregnant girls, the sex, at the end Ellie lets Abby go. Yep, after all this messy story, after all the purpose is to get some revenge on Abby that killed Joel what you get is a slap in your face telling you that revenge is bad!

    I understand the meaning, the circle or revenge wont end, revenge is bad, blablabla...
    But its really unsatisfying, They really force you trying to like Abby, but with no success.
    TLOU is an apocalyptic game, full of death, kill or get killed... doesn't really fit in the game... not that I don't understand the meaning or that Im a bad person, but felt really bad, unsatisfying story, unsatisfying ending.
    poor Jesse that died in the end as nothing, irrelevant character right?

    Imagine playing god of war and in the end kratos lets go zeus. yap. the same.

    Well, as an fan of TLOU i feel really bad, I would like to rate it better, but I cant with this poor story.
    I would recommend you to get the game only when its like 30$.

    TL;DR: good graphics, good sound and gameplay, poor writing, poor characters, what leads to a bad story(that's where this game should shine). messy romantic/sex scenes, Forces you to like a character that you probably wont like. Get it when its on sale.

    I didn't know how a game can be like this disgusting until TLOUII released.
    If this game isn't a continue story of ep1, then it's ok. But it is. So, don't waste any money if you saw the trailer (you can find out they scam us by using the scene of "Joel the Golf" as well, cause you can see that Jesse just randomly take the place of the scene that Joel should be there. And the story didn't make sense, thanks to the disgusting re-edited by NAUGHTY DOG .

    So just don't buy/play this game. Because the editorscripter is just putting shxt in your eyes and brains.    … Expand

    10/10 masterpiece neil druckmann once again proves his unique ability to story tell in a world where humans no longer have compassion or kindness to one another where humanity once lived together they once again fight for survival as well as learning to live with the cordeceps infection as Ellie the only person who has natural immunity to the infection.    … Expand

    Graphics is great but I don't want to pray on the graphics. Every modern game looks great, this should not be a big plus anymore. But gaming mechanics as well as the logic and the plot just awful.     This game hit me emotionally on so many levels. The world building is so incredibly done. The inclusions of the new characters and factions breathes new air in to the world and the gameplay feels extremely fluid. The story takes you on an emotional journey that comes only once every few years. I thoroughly enjoyed this game.

    TLoU Part II is the game that I've always heard about by many people: a graphical and cinematic masterpiece with a recycled gameplay from the previous game, zero innovation and a poorly written story with weak characters and an almost nonsensical plot.

    First thing to say is that this game is solid AF. In my playthrough of 30 hours I met 0 bugs, 0 glitches and no crashes at all. Never, no matter the situation, I had problems at all.

    The graphic of this game is top notch. You'll remain stunned by the beauty of the world and the cure for every single detail. From the movement of the grass, the snow and how the warm blood of enemies melts it, the landscapes (both natural and artificials), the sunflares when you direct the camera against the sun ecc everything is absolutely gorgeus, a marvel for the eyes. It's obvious that the artists that worked on this game had a solid vision about the game's world and how to make it. The mix of "city-jungle" it's a clear prof of it. Of course this is the same for the characters, their faces, models ecc. Yes, this game looks really cool and you'll love to just spend time looking around and playing with the photo mode.

    Gameplay wise... well, its TLoU. The gameplay is literally just copy-pasted from the previous game and while TLoU was a good game for its generation, TLoUII feels outdated. Same crafting system, same weapons improve system, same skills improve system, same stealth, same weapons... you got it. There are few additions like the possibility to dodge enemies' attacks which I personally really felt like useless. For puzzles, instead of ladders you're going to use ropes (puzzles are incredibly simple and will recquire at maximum 30 seconds to figure them out), and now you can full crouch and hide yourself in the high grass. Of course this is not Uncharted, we're not going around for ancient tombs trying to solve wierd puzzles to open doors and treasure rooms, but it really feels like that these puzzles are there just 'cos "there were in TLoU" and that's it. They're so simple and useless that you wonder why the hell they put them on the game at this point. If you're expecting more then this, you'll remain disappointed. Gunplay is simply HORRIBLE. It is imprecise, it is clunky, it's slow. Hell, I don't understand why someone who has passed YEARS to shot zombies and people can't aim "straight" and instead shake his hands like a drunk. Who thought this was a good idea? Now we have big areas (much bigger then TLoU) full of enemies and dealing with them is so frustrating. There are TOO MANY ENEMIES, play stealth is so hard that a certain point you just give up and decide to go rambo just to die 'cos enemies will kick your a** using the advantage of the number.

    The story. Listen, I have no idea where all of this was going for. It's like that who wrote this started with an idea but then realized he didn't actually know how to concretize it. The story starts with this "revenge plot", but for how the things go at a certain point you don't know what is going on anymore. Characters are bad written, the plot just goes on for "convenience". While in TLoU you one had so many beloved characters here secondary characters are absolutely meaningless and you really don't care if they die or not. At the end of the game there is the greatest attempt to manipulate the audience I have ever seen in my entire life just in order to cover the mess that the story was so far. I really can't explain without spoilers why it is so bad. What can I say is that if you hope for a TLoU story level, you'll remain absolutely disappointed.

The story isn’t that memorable, which is the most important part to me. I don’t care that she is gay, but they will remind you that Ellie is homosexual every 5 minutes, because obviously you forgot the last 45 times they told you. Just wish they would have focused more on the story and less on the sexual orientation of the characters.… Expand

En lo negativo para mi es esto de los romances ya sean heterosexuales u otra indole y tambien las cinematicas excesivsas es molesto. Lo compre precio de 10 dolares ya que me ha decepcionado hacia donde estan orientando la direccion del juego y mensajes politicos.
    Esto del tema de la inclisuión que    Ha estado muy bien los graficos, sin embargo la historia no es que me alla gustado mucho. Es cierto que tiene más o menos tantos puntos negativos como positivos por eso le doi un 5/10, es un videojuego regular y ya, no se merece esos ceros aunque comprendo la grandísima decepción con todo el hype que había. Al menos con la parte de los bugs seguro se acabarán solucionando poco a poco con actualizaciones.

    I love naughty dog games, and i have bought every single game and loved them all. My favorite was the last of us 1.

    The last of us 2 killed the franchise and showed that even the biggest companies can have slip ups. The game play is good,mechanics are good too, world design is beautiful.     Gameplay, for me is a 9, but gameplay is more subjective but the game is at least solid (5)
    Story: now here is were people can and do deviate, I loved the story when playing with ellie so a 7 for me because i didnt care much for abby as a main character,

    if you actually sit through it, the events are earned you just have to get passed the part where you know who dies and give it a chance, it is totally subjective tho so this one could in fact be 0 for some people

    My score: (10+10+10+9+7)/5 = 9.2

    and IMO the lowest one could rate this game is (9+9+9+5+0)/5 = 6.4

I really enjoyed this experience and don't understand how people have been giving such low scores. The gameplay is vastly improved from the first game. Playing as Abby is a completely different experience from playing as ellie. It allows you to think more outside of your comfort zone and what youre used to. Abby does not have a knife like Ellie so it allows you to craft shows like joel had to do in the first game. The small amount of new mechanics that were added such as jumping and dodging may seem small but really give you a fleshed out and more realistic experience. The story is really solid for most of the game. Although it is hard to be invested in the story upon the second part of the game. They really do a good job with Abby's story and eventually make you come around and start to like her as a character also there was a hotline Miami reference which is 100 extra points.… Expand

Isn't it crazy the level of propaganda and control that coalition has? Now imagine if they exerted that control to demonize and dehumanize an entire group of people. It makes the first game seem light as a daisy.

    Now, if that sounds swell to you great, but I don't really need a misery simulator in my life so it loses a couple of points and much as I think the game is in someways a masterpiece I won't replay it, if ever, for a very long time.

    Final note - If you check the date of all the negative reviews most were posted on the day of release. It's a 30 hour long game. It's just review bombing because leaks for the story were released on-line and a vocal group of man-children spat their dummies out. Ignore.    … Expand

    Si vas a matar a un personaje importante, escríbelo bien, y si luego quieres que empaticemos con el nuevo personaje, pues dale un buen trasfondo, y de primeras has que sea al comienzo del juego, no cuando ya pasan unas 10 horas y te hacen odiar más al personaje.

    Y si la historia es de venganza, puta madre completa toda la venganza, hasta Red Dead Redemption 2 lo hizo mejor, no hagas que solo un personaje se vengue y que no pague por ello. Pues bien, este TLOU2 es lo mismo, no mejora las taras de TLOU pero además destruye cosas buenas del original. Lo de menos ya es que este juego se haya usado para lavar cerebros insertando basura ideológica, es que es un mal juego con o sin esa basura; TLOU no necesitaba secuela y de seguir con los mismos personajes se veía venir de lejos el desastre. La incoherencia la tienen los que sobrevaloraron al primer TLOU, que no era tan bueno, ese era mediocre y esta innecesaria secuela es peor, de suspenso. ¡Siete años de desarrollo para esto! vergonzoso, los juegos AAA no tienen futuro, si este tipo de basuras requieren tanto tiempo y presupuesto, esto no es viable y es un disparate; obras maestras se han hecho en 12 meses, 7 años esta basura, lo dice todo de la decadencia de los AAA.

    PD: Anda que no tienen JETA los individuos y los medios digitales que descalifican a estos analisis de usuarios hablando de "review bombing" ¿y que adjetivos le ponemos a la casi unanimidad y a todos los 10 gratuitos de la prensa? esto no les molesta por lo que parece, SON UNOS CINICOS. It’s obvious the writers should’ve worked in a different way of killing him because clearly, with all the backlash, they didn’t do it right. Great graphics and gameplay but that story sucks man. And oh my god, why is there a pregnant **** running around in the apocalypse?? Dina is about as interesting and engaging as watching paint dry. All I know about her is she’s Bi and she’s a Jew. Jessie, Dina, and Yara are three throwaway characters. Jessie is there to be a dumbass and get Dina pregnant. Dina is there as a love interest. And Yara is there to get her arm cut off and mowed down with assault rifles. Abbys storyline is a waste of time running errands for characters who aren’t interesting. Lev is transgender, that’s great, he’s still boring damnit. Ellie has changed so much, part of that I can understand as it’s been a few years and she’s grown up. But man she is just a sad, boring mess. Only reason I cared about her is because I consistently reminded myself why I liked her in the first game.     Just a very meh game. The story is mediocre and the new characters are bland and forgettable. The music is also not very memorable. The gameplay is serviceable but gets old halfway through the game. The graphics and art style are exceptional and performances are stellar. Not much more to say.

There's absolutely no way these people gave this game a legitimate chance with not even a day with the game out. TLoUP2 has been an extraordinary and brilliant ride It had took me 5 days to complete it on hard and let me tell you it exceeded all of my expectations even after being spoiled by "fans".

    I don't know what people expected when Joel murdered, butchered the last of the Fireflies in salt lake and ruining mankind's hope for a cure. And then not have any repercussions with their kin let alone the daughter of one. It's the apocalypse... people don't understand that Joel was an anti hero, also lied to Ellie for years leaving her feeling unsure with herself. So now that that's explained we can moved passed first impressions from the spoilers.

    This game left me feeling all kinds of emotions during my play through in a good way hitting all the right notes
    -Gameplay
    The gameplay is soo buttery smooth and satisfying with insane levels of detail and gore! It requires you to create from its move set. And It is as good or as bad as the player wants it to be. It's a bunch of kill rooms, but how you approach it is all up to you. People that **** on its gameplay simply suck or lack creativity. This allows it to feel really unique and dynamic and has all kinds of customizing I love it.

    -Graphics and Atmosphere
    There's not much to say except it's insane what Naughty Dog was able to achieve with 2013 tech they are on a completely different playing field in this regard. TLoUP2 has the best graphics than anything I've seen so far, already looks next gen! With only RDR2 ever coming close to this level of graphical detail and animation.

    -Sound and Music
    Everything's just perfect in this department from gun sound design to the way enemies react to your every move, one of the only games where NPCs actually feels like a unit and knows one another, and carry's weight when you kill one of them. And the Infected sound better than ever. As for the music it's masterful.

    -Story
    Last but not least to most controversial, the story. It gets a lot **** for the simple fact that Joel dies and then you have to play as his killer, Abby. But what they skip is Abby's redemption I'm not gonna lie I enjoyed playing as her more than I did Ellie. This story is so intricately designed where everything is interwoven and brilliantly executed in my opinion. They managed to make me sympathize for Abby and understand her views and in the mean time become one of the best parts in the game and personally one of my favorite characters.

    The story is one hell of a journey and unforgettable to say the least leaving you in awe in what you just experienced. I only have one gripe with the narrative though and It's that Abby never tells Ellie that Joel killed her father, let alone have a conversation. But I guess you can understand the simplicity of it, that there's too much hatred/sadness for one another to simply mend with dialog. Once you take your first steps in this game it feels astronomical. In my opinion this game is a solid 9.5/10 and 100% a GOTY contender.    … Expand

    pour moi c'est une bonne idée se scénar, sa casse les scénars manichéiste qu'on se mange régulièrement.

    Speaking as someone who has never played the original game and for the most part has stayed away from Naughty Dog games - TLOU2 is an OK game. It looks absolutely amazing running on my base model PS4. Many aspects of this game are very polished however, it doesn't really do anything more than what has already been done in other video games.     It's just a boring game. Zero immersion, i don't care about any of the characters, and trust me i tried to. I rolled my eyes so many times during the cut scene when the two girls were whining about girl stuff (being lesbien and shy about it, or being pregnant and a burden etc...) so god damn lame for a story we see this in every tv show and its just bad writing    Just finished the game...

    I have just finished the game in the hard mode. That was a hell of a story. Not what we expected, not with the sexual choices we feel comfortable but no one can deny it was a very good story telling. Sounds, voiceover, music are all top notch quality. I am in a new part and can't go back. I observe that the good and the evil are not white and black in the contemporary scenarios. When you read both sides of the story, when you learn about the conditions that led to actions which seemed evil you may sympathize with the villain. Maybe every one of us is a villain in somebody's story. I guess this game explores the boundaries between the good and the evil in a merciless apocalyptic world. Personally I would pick the same choices the scenarist made me do during the game. Thanks for this beautiful game even though I would have preferred a different closure to the first game...… Expand

The main issue with this game is obvious to anybody who's played this, it's Abby, sure I hated her at first, but after understanding her I didn't mind her by the end. And the ending, which most people despised, was very poetic in my opinion, Ellie at that moment realized that she needed to break the cycle that she, Joel, & Abby have been in since the end of the last of us. also the graphics & the gameplay is some of the best i've ever seen ever. So overall, The Last Of Us Part II is not as good as The Last Of Us, but it's honestly kind of close. And I do understand all the criticism the game's been getting lately, but in all honesty, I haven't really changed my mind after hearing.… Expand

    TLoU part 1 : a symphony of bittersweetness

    TLoU part 2: a ugly black gaping hole where everybody hates everybody, destroys everything and bashes everyones head in. And oh yeah, Ellie loses 2 fingers and that's the conclusion of the game. Yay!

    So, every character sucks in this game, including Ellie (no that not because she is gay).
    Basicly TLoU2 is "hate, anger, darkness: the game". But not in an entertaining way. In a gruesome way. Everybody loses, including the player.

    The only thing NOT destroyed after this game is the settlement in Jackson. Maybe they can destroy it in part 3.

    Sure, Naughty Dog knows how to make a game ... but man this story is not cool in any way.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last of Us was the game that re-introduced me to modern gaming. It showed how we are in a golden age of gaming where they are practically interactive movies. I was so excited for this game.... then the leaks happened.

    For context, I'm a progressive person who is sympathetic to the LGBTQ community and I laughed at the overly sensitive conservatives who automatically assumed that Abby was a transgender person. But I was also frusterated when I learned what the game planned to do with the beloved characters of the first game. Still I decided to try the game with an open mind.

    Is this a good game? Yes, absolutely. Is it a good sequel to "The Last of Us"? Absolutely NOT and I honestly wish they had never even made this game because it's a story that didn't need to be told. For starters, Sony and Naughty Dog straight up LIED about what this game would be. There is a trailer that clearly shows Joel joining Ellie on her quest at some point but that was a complete LIE. When the scene plays out in the actual game, it is a different person who you don't even care about. Ridiculous and I honestly can't believe more people aren't calling them out for that specific lie.

    Here's the deal, I thought I was going to hate playing as Abby but here story line was the only thing I found truly compelling in the game. They made Ellie so unlikable and foolish in this game that that's the reason why I wish they'd never even bothered making this game. All in all, the story leaves you feeling hopeless because it was totally meaningless and not well executed. If this game was marketed differently, as a game set in the universe of the Last of Us but not a direct sequel I think it'd be easier to forgive, but the current game just trashes what made the game special in the first place

    Another problem I have with the story; who was the moron that decided it was worthwhile to have you kill dogs? For the most part you have a choice in killing them but at one point in the game, you are FORCED to kill a dog. The worst part is that the game has the nerve to guilt trip you for something it FORCED you to do! Just such lazy story telling.

    lastly, the game play is improved but still weak. The Last of Us never had great game play but it was servicable and held up mainly by it's story. Here, the story is just poorly placed garbage so all you are left with is a slightly refined combat system that wasn't special in the first place. By the last hours of the game, I'd had enough and turned the difficulty down all the way so I could just run past every enemy encounter to progress the crappy story.

    For the positives, the game is obviously beautiful and there are some amazing 10/10 moments in the game, but when you mix crap with ice cream all you end up doing is ruining the ice cream and making the crap marginally better but still not palatable. Lastly, I LOVE and appreciate how Naughty Dog added so many well thought out customizations. This is truly awesome and something I wish every developer would do.

    Want to adjust the difficulty? You are allowed to customize almost every game play element to your liking. For me, I made the enemies extreamly weak to my bullets but I made myself extreamly weak to theirs, creating an almost one shot one kill game. I also made the game much more leniant with supplies so I could have more fun with shooting guns.

    I hated trying to aim with a controller (my fault, not the games) but I was able to implement a slow down mechanic to help make it a little easier. When you compare this to a game like Red Red Redemption 2, which is amazing in almost every way but so incredibly poor how the developers let you actually play the game I really think Naughty Dog should be applauded for this one area of the game.

    Outside of that, I finished this game and now I just want to forget the whole experience. The only reason this isn't a fully negative review is because of the few great moments in the game and the care they took in the customization features    … Expand

    Very weak story with characters you won’t care about. The game tries to shock the players but even fails in that. Side mission are an effort to strech the playtime and are totally useless. The plot is very weak and leaves you with a feeling that you really waisted you time.
    Gameplay wise it pretty much the same mechanics as the previous game and are clunky and outdated.

    The game mostly suffers from the story. Specifically the order in which the story is told, since I believe the finished narrative is actually great and ends fittingly to what was built up over the course of about 25 hours. On that note, the game has a much different feel to it compared to the first one (as in that it is significantly darker), which is by far not a bad thing and executed quite well, but I understand how it could have caught people off guard.
    However, there is one fight towards the end of the game that was kind of off putting and interfered with my immersion, but I understand what Naughty Dog was going for and I would not constitute it as grounds for the whole game being bad.

    To address the "pandering" aspect that is often criticized, i understand how SJW can appear obnoxious in the same way that anything else can be obnoxious when overdone. The matter was however handled very maturely and shouldn't be an issue whatsoever.
    Other than Ellie being gay (which was already established in the first part) and having a bisexual girlfriend (which was actually foreshadowed by Ellie being **** GAY), there is a 13 year old character that was born a girl but appears as a boy in every other significant way. Her gender is in no way shoved in the players face.
    There is also a woman, which some assume to be trans simply because she is muscular yet there are flashbacks where she is shown as a girl.

    It is kind of sad how this game was review bombed even before the game was released and I can't think of an honest/realistic justification to rate the overall experience anything less than mediocre.
    I read the leaks after I finished the game and while true, they are taken out of context and heavily and unsupportedly interpreted upon.

    Characters: 4/10 The Last of Us had such a great success due to its characters. Players felt and understood every character. I don't understand why every character in the second part is so bad. The only characters who were interesting to me were created and taken from the first part of the game. Sometimes I think of the characters from The Last of Us(game I played 7 years ago) and I remember every person and their stories. They all were unique, some of the stories are sad, others are bright, but I keep them in mind after 7 years of playing the game. I am pretty sure that I will replay the first part of this game. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same words about the second part.
    Feelings: 5/10 This game is great, but I did not feel very good at some moments of the gameplay. I wanted even to stop playing. I smiled sometimes during the gameplay, but those smiling were referred to the flashbacks to the first part of the game. I did not fell satisfied after playing the second part.

    The final verdict: 7-8/10 Yes, that is not what we expected. I took 2-3 points from 10, because of the characters, plot and lack of opportunity to choose the ending. I recommend it for playing for everybody, but you do not have to compare it to the first part. These are two different games, unfortunately, in a bad way.
    Guys, please, do not hate and put low scores to this game. Developers spent a lot of time on working, they do not deserve your hate. As I said, this game do not deserve such a low score. Sorry for my English again.

Первую игру я вспоминаю постоянно даже спустя 7 лет после прохождения. К сожалению, в 2013 году Naughty Dog задала сама себе планку, которую не смогла побить. Игра отличная, но это не то продолжение легендарной первой части, которого мы ожидали. Возможно разработчики думали, что мы любим это серию за геймплэй, но лично я люблю первую часть за ее персонажей. Каждого я могу вспомнить до сих пор и описать его историю. В этой игре такого нет, мне было абсолютно плевать на некоторых важных персонажей, некоторые даже раздражали. Единственные моменты, которые заставили меня любить эту игру и наслаждать ею, это флешбеки к первой части и моменты с персонажами из той же первой части. В остальном эта игра не вытягивает. И да, перекаченные бабы на стероидах, азиаты, лезбианки есть, и добавлены они не для красивой истории... К сожалению, сегодняшняя толерантность превратилась в полнейший абсурд.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
