    After waiting 7 years for the sequel of the first game i feel absolutely disappointed.
    The graphics are absolutely beautiful and the game has astonishing images, but the story is just stupid and terrible.
    The story tries to be "sad" and make you "depressed" but absolutely fails while doing so. Why get rid of the main character and then make you play as its assassin?, It's just dumb    After waiting 7 years for the sequel of the first game i feel absolutely disappointed.

Druckman **** destroyed the story with that nonsense **** If you want to be inclusive no problems with that, but what's this politically charged crap? If you want a GOOD homosexuality inclusion, look at games like Dragon Age Origins. This game feels like an unnecessary attention cookie to jump on the sjw bandwagon.     I didn't like the story in general.
    It's about an agenda.. not a regular game story.
    There's no relevant connection to the first one.

    When it was announced 2016 that there would be a sequel in the future I was first really excited.
    But as it tourns out I could barley bring myself to finish The last of us 2 since the story is so poorly written and the characters make, throughout the game, stupid decission that make no sense.
    Hardpass don`t buy it and safe yourself 60 bucks.

What made the first game so epic and amazing was having Ellie attached at the hip, creating a dynamic that everyone fell in love with. It was such a good dynamic that they tried to replicate it with god of war. Not only did they undo that dynamic by separating them and spitting on their relationship the entire game and claiming Ellie “doesn’t need” Joel, but they then kill Joel in a way that was completely unbecoming of his established character. Joel is a man who has walls of trust issues. The idea that he would walk into a room and tell people his given name and where he lives is insane. To then have Ellie go on to kill hundreds for the sake of revenge to then not kill the person ACTUALLY responsible? … Expand

    At your left you can see the classical pay to disguise. Nobody eats that publicity anymore, we're in 2020.
    This game is really bad, the girl behind the storytelling is throwing personal nonsense into this game and sadly that ruined everything.
    Thanks everyone who helped this to become real, and thanks CD Proyekt for stopping this same thing in the past.

I largely feel the overly positive reviews are based on the players political views, which anyone not heavily left will likely take issue with something here, just like the overly negative ones, this divisional stance the writers took is why my score is so low as I feel this is an extremely poor tactic to take. The first game did not have this issue, it was largely a story of personal struggle and growth of Joel set to a virus outbreak. This game relies so heavily on political flavor of the week that its story is 2 dimensional if those ideals don't align with your own. Thats not going to bring anyone over to your side, though I'd argue that a game is not the place to make such broad arguments as a form of escapism people don't want this stuff shoved in their face from every angle. OK so on to the actual game, it plays well and looks fantastic, though the gameplay has seen no upgrade or change other then a character/gender swap of the MC, which honestly for a game made in 2013 I was expecting some new mechanics especially since Elly is smaller and weaker then Joel. The lack of any online component is fine by me as ND games are story driven and don't need it, but if an online mode wasn't part of this game then why has so little time been dedicated to improving or tweaking the core mechanics? There are other cheap/cheesy things done here such as Druckman scanning himself into the game as yet another poorly driven plot point. The last point I will make is regardless of your stance of right vs left no one and I say confidently NO ONE wanted a forced fully motion captured transsexual sex scene… Expand

Bueno, el juego TLU 2, tiene un gameplay expectacular, unas mecanicas que impresionan, unos graficos dignos de años de trabajo, pero una historia y guion fatales, no han pasado ni dos horas de peli-juego (y si puesto que son 5 minutos de cinematica por 10-15 de juego), y ya cansa y agita al expectador de tanta mamada que quieren dar, la muerte de joel es un punto clave para el desarrollo del juego, pues sin esta el resto no tiene sentido alguno, pero luego que tenemos, personajes forzados a que uno tenga que empatizar con ellos y no es por ser homofobico ni esas mamadas, pero haber, te fuerzan a querer algo, que si esta o no, en nada afecta a la jugabilidad si elie es lesbiana pues esta bien, pela, yo quiero un juego donde tenga que sobrevivir y explorar , pero ¿qué te dan? eso con esa historia que dises puaj, que mierda estoy jugando y mata todo lo bueno del juego, es sierto es un buen juego por lo que mencione al incio, pero en estos juegos no es posibible jugar sin que la histroria este presente, no es como un fornite o un call of duty, que pueden tener buenos gameplay, y si ves o no la historia pela, pero en este caso no, porque la base del juego es su historia, hace años cuando salio el primer TLu lo que a muchos nos encanto fue su historia, el ver como los personajes ivan creciendo y desarrollandose de a poco, con un buen game play y mecanicas, pero ahora nos dan esta mierda de guion y de historia y se cagan, litermaemnte en el juego, es un buen juego, inetntentan ser inlcuisivos pero,no de la manera correcta, sino como peliculas que han fracasado , lo quieren meter a la fuerza, y asi ni la ropa entra.     Also, for those unaware Sony and their lapdog MUSO did some really bad and downright illegal **** to some really decent people, speaking up about the utter lunacy that this this game. Normally you shouldn't drag irl events into a game review. But when you're actively pursuing the destruction of livelihoods of decent human beings, you should get absolutely slammed into oblivion for it.

    Don't look at the positive reviews, don't look at the "critic" scores. They are all written by people that got a free tossjob by Dr(C)uckman in a 3rd rate potty-parlour, and wouldn't be able to tell a turd from a piece of gold even if it smashed into their faces using a concrete slab attached to a Falcon Heavy rocket.

    This game is an absolute failure and a big F you to any sane person left in this utter clownworld we live in today.

    Do not buy it, don't support it, disassociate yourself from the insane people & corporations that deem this drivel as passable entertainment.     I pre ordered part II twice. Ignored all spoilers. Never had a problem with Ellie's characteristic and knew what is coming for Joel since first trailer came out. The way it is made in part II just doesn't feels right. It was long-long and extremely boring adventure without any single reason why it must be connected with one of a best games ever created.

    Negatives: It takes every virtue signaling trope you can imagine and ham fists it into the game. You will hear the word "bigot" within the first 5 minutes. The Last of Us part 1 was my favorite game and I loved it so much I named my Cat Ellie after the game...i have had the videogame poster from TLOU1 framed in my living room for all these years, I'm a huge fan. Naughty Dog needs to apologize to everyone for TLOU2. I beat both games but the sequel is so bad... I wish they never made a sequel that's how bad it is. The wilderness/scenery is great but that's it. The storyline is absolute garbage. The game feels dragged out and I even was bored alot of the time. It felt like I kept playing hoping it would somehow get better and and I'd feel better about it already being ruined in the first 2-3 hours of the game but it only continues to be absolute garbage. I wanted to cry not because of how sad it was but how let down I felt by the game developers and writers. They had all this time and no one working there could convince them to redo it and that theyre ruining the whole game. This game made me feel like ill never have hope in games again. To the people who played this sequel and liked it...did you even play the first game?… Expand

    No one has ever done something like that for a video game story so it would be an original design decision. That way, people who like this version can still enjoy it, but for people who want an actual story can play the real version. Both versions would be debated upon, but the decision to redo this game entirely with a new story would make me forget about and forgive the mistakes made in this version. I know that this won't happen because the Niel Druckmann fell to one of the oldest stumbling blocks in history which would be pride. He directed a masterpiece and the praise got to his head. Instead of looking at what the fans loved about the first game, he did his own thing, confident that he was smarter than everyone else, and ended up destroying his own masterpiece. It's not the first time that a leader has fallen to pride and it certainly won't be the last time. If Niel Druckmann and the team completely redid the game with an actual story, it would be one of the quintessential comebacks of our time. It would surprise everyone and would earn the respect of every gamer who felt betrayed by this version. As it stands though, this game is completely unplayable.    … Expand

Es juego es pura venganza, venganza, descubrimiento sexual y vida amorosa y te sentis como el enemigo de ambos bandos para que el final quede en la nada misma el porqué hiciste toda esta campaña.. Horrible final para los dos personajes que nos enamoraron en la primera entrega. Me hizo acordar cuando marvel forzó a empatizar con un personaje que salió de la nada, no tiene trasfondo y nos metamos en su papel y el porque hizo lo que hizo..     paso de ser un survival horror a un survival progre, ok no primero comenzando con que el protagonista murio forzaron y metiendo ideales de los lgbt, una historia bien pedorra y como toque final el que el juego te obligaba a cometer actos inmorales esto lo invierten y lo ponen como "mate un centenar de personas pero no me vengare de la asesina de mi novia y mi padre adoptivo"

Los gráficos de este juego me parecen impresionantes sí, pero el resto es decepcionante, después de 7 años desde el primer juego había mucho que contar sobre el pasado de Joel, sobre el tema de la cura, etcétera, sin embargo se han fijado en mayor parte en una nueva historia.
    Además había mucha polémica que no tenía que ver con el juego, los que conocíamos The last of us 1 conocimos un juego que se basaba en una buena historia, sin más.
    Además, los tráilers que sacaban al final resultaban siempre ser montajes, haciéndonos pensar que en el juego íbamos a estar mucho más con Joel cuando todo eso ha sido falso, nos han engañado y me parece mal porque hemos pagado por lo que nos habían enseñado, si luego resulta que todo lo que han enseñado es mentira pues se han quedado con nuestro dinero y nosotros nos hemos quedado decepcionados.
    Por otra parte, me parece horrible tener que pasarte la mitad del juego con la persona que ha matado a un personaje muy querido.
    Y el juego quiere enseñar que la violencia y la venganza no es la solución, a través de que te pasas todo el juego matando a un montón de gente que no conoces de nada y que en verdad no te han hecho nada a tí directamente, para al fin llegar a la persona que de verdad te ha hundido la vida y dejarla en paz, es decir que todo lo que haces en el juego y todo lo que pierdes, arriesgas y matas por el camino es en vano.
    En conclusión me parece que se tendrían que haber centrado en la historia del primer juego sin tanta polémica y no nos deberían de haber engañado.    … Expand
