    Very bland , very linear , combat/gameplay seems worse , ai definetly not improved. Story makes no sense , characters act facepalm.

    So, even with all the pros this game is really really bad. It makes NO sense that Ellie act how she acts in certain parts of the game but that isnt even the biggest thing about why its bad.
    The reason is: character development. If you kill one of the most beloved characters early in the game (Joel) and want to bring in new main playable characters like Abby, you HAVE    really bad, too bad

    If you kill one of the most beloved characters early in the game (Joel) and want to bring in new main playable characters like Abby, you HAVE to bring WAY more backstory in order to make the player feel with her.
    I mean she KILLED Joel!
    How do you make the player like her? Bring more and more backstory before she does that. Let the players play 2-10h as Abby when she was a child or whatever. The backstory of her is basically told in 10minutes and then her dad is being killed. Thats it? And now I have to feel with her and understand why she killed Joel?
    Hell no!
    That is weak story telling. Really really weak.

    Then there are all the other new characters. Nobody is likeable. Like really. They all feel empty. They are only shells without any meaning.    … Expand

    I wanted to like this game. I saw the critics reviews and thought it would be amazing. It is terrible. The story was designed to displease you, and video games are supposed to be pleasing. It is packed with PC SJW content that feels shoved in your face rather than placed in a meaningful way. The game is repetitive and tedious. Para empezar a huevo te quieren meter la inclusion, seguido de eso matan a joel de una forma sin sentido, nos dan el control del personaje que lo mato solo para que sintamos algo de empatia, una empatia forzada; despues de la muerte de joel la trama del juego se centra en buscar vengaza en contra de abby (algo similar con mafia 3), ellie mata un chingo de personajes lo cual no va a servir para nada, la batalla final es más quicktime event que parte jugable y al final ellie despues de matar a varios de maneras sangrientas y cosas asi decide perdonar a abby, sinceramente es una historia que dejo mucho a deber y en un juego debe haber un equilibrio entre buena jugabilidad e historia, cosa que no cumple en la parte de la historia, ya que a huevo trata de ser inclusiva, de ahi el descontento y meter cosas progre, a ellie la cuckean y meten algo similar a lo de la adopcion por parte de dos parejas del mismo sexo… Expand

    Can we stop shoehorning political wet dreams into everything already? As someone who grew up in an extremely diverse community, this doesn’t even remotely reflect a believable reality. It’s what a rich person living in an only superficially diverse elite enclave thinks a diverse reality looks like. Impossible to get into this game.

The Last Of Us ended perfectly and that's the way it should stay and be remembered. This piece of utter garbage won't ruin The Last of Us for me and it shouldn't ruin the experience for anyone else either. It simply does not exist. It's bad writing, just a bad fanfiction. The advice I'm trying to give here is: don't feel bad if you're feeling like a bad fan for not liking it. Ellie and Joel won't have this kind of conclusion to their story, not after everything they've been through. I just know Joel and Ellie are somewhere at Jackson right now, being happy and playing guitar with not a care in the world, not worrying about the past, because they've got nothing to regret after all.… Expand

    Neil druckman self confessed "character abuser" isn't happy simply abusing existing characters he feels the need to kill the fan favourites off, create a trans character and then literally Eff her in the A.

    Avoid at all costs, looks amazing but the game play is average at best and terrible, terrible characters with ridiculous story and plotholes

    I wouldn't give a "1", except for the fact that they false advertised, and wasted my money. When there is a delta of 6 points between the critic score and the user score, that means they paid those critics. I was LIED TO and STOLEN from by Naughty Dog and Sony. How is this allowed?

The mechanics are outdated as hell. Nihil novi sub sole.

    The plot. Oh my God, this is the worst plot that I have ever seen in the video game. How someone was willing to pay for all of the technology, mocap and graphical quality just to present such awful story is beyond me. Talking about wasted money. It would be better to just throw it in the dumpster. Bad graphics would suit this dumpster fire better, the game would be at least consistent in being crappy. Now it looks even more bizzare, having good garphics, but no overall quality.

    Neil Druckmann's terrible advertisement trickery for this game is already insulting. But when you realise the story leaves a far more sour of a taste in your mouth then even that., a 0 can feel justified in that sense.

Don't be fooled, this game is not about the original characters but about the new character Abby. 12 hours of gameplay with Abby.     0/10 for the fact that they managed to ruin such a beautiful story.

    P.s.: This game is an excellent example why people don't read critic reviews anymore. We all know for a while that this reviews are payed for. But in this case is so obvious and with no shame. Naughty dog tries way to hard to "subvert expectations" and instead creates a complete train wreck of forced politics and LGBTQ ideals. I'll be honest now, first 20 minutes (or however long it took until something happened, but i'm not gonna spoil) and then it was just ruined till the end. Nothing saved it for me. Story and obviously the game will disappoint you 100%. Do not waist you money!

There is nothing new in the gameplay we haven't seen already in other games. The only thing that's truly great about this game are the graphics. But that's it. The quality of the story rivals the story of Star Wars VIII: The last jedi. And iAbsolute disrespect towards the 1st game.     One thing, most game developers that "try to be inclusive" seem to miss is that there have been strong female protagonists Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, Nier, Metroid, Horizon, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and queer/trans characters in video games with options to romance them for decades.

    This "woke" approach is nothing new, nothing special and gamers do not care or want to be represented in any way in a game. What Naughty Dog did was a small inclusion of a group of people yet the game's makerting seems to revolve around the support to the LGBTQ+ community. Gamers don't really care if a character is straight/gay/trans/bi or something else, they care for a story and character development, much the same in the way of a book or movie.

    There are books or movies that leave you empty after you finish them, you're not always satisfied with the end but the problem here different. The feeling is quite similar to Game of Thrones' season 8 Deus Ex Machina that ignored character development to come up to an easy conclusion to end it all.

    We were expecting another harrowing experience of Joel and Ellie but got somewhat of a backhand slap killing off Joel in the beginning of the game for Ellie's "character development".    … Expand

Joel and Ellie were the reason people love the first game. Their characters and their story was handled with love and care in the first game. This game not only butchers their relationship it completey throws it out the window in favor of this new Abby character. The marketing was deceptive and everything was in service of Abby.
