Great gameplay flawed story so many things such as Abby's strength is unrealistic even a female weight lifter said it was impossible with Abby's schedule. Even though Joel was soft you don't forget common sense "Oh I killed hundreds of people I'm gonna tell some random group I never met my name" also never explained how they even found Joel's group which kinda seems unrealistic and they pretty much lied it most of the trailers so yeah it's not what it says it is.     This game is immeasurably taxing on the player’s soul. Gameplay is perfect, & the story takes some impossible risks that require an open-minded approach to pay off for the gamer. Overall, this game was beautifully made & the story succeeds.

Other than the story itself, this game really deserves at least a score of 4, but one should never provoke gamers just because we don't like the game/plot (that is, even if we review bombed it, as it is actually a great way for the studio to get feedback for the game and also future game design).     This game is a wasted potential. It throws everything that made the first one a masterpiece and the best game in history. The first one was built on a bond between two characters that hated each other. By the end of the game they were like father and daughter. The story was what shined. And it was just perfect.     This game is one of the most ambitious stories I've ever played in a video game, there is no doubt it has split the player base (just look at the user reviews compared to what they were when the game first came out) but it was **** eviscerated by leaks and hit pieces from youtubers, it was a mess. All id say is play the game for yourself and see because this not just another company ruining their properties because they're "woke" or "pandering".… Expand

To begin with: the story itself turned out so shallow, despite the deep drama and emotions of the characters. I actually feel a little waste of time by playing a game of blind revenge without any high cause. Eye for an eye is what it's all about. Frustrated about wasted lives, all the losses that character had to face in the name of... revenge. Comparing to pt.1, pt.2 feels and looks so immature. Oh well and last but not least: the agenda, that what actually makes you feel homophobic. You are fed with gay stories all the way, and when the storyline told about the Scar boy/girl (I couldn't tell in the end) with self-identification issues It look ridiculously squeezed into the hard post-apocalyptic world. When I completed the story of pt.1 I hoped that there would be no sequel that would ruin the feel of delight. And then pt.2 happened. Game mechanics are pretty much the same, detail level is impressive as before, Naughty Dog raised the level once again, the difficulty happens to be easier than pt.1, but pt.2 compensates being literally crowded with enemies. This is my first review and I really wanted to explain why this game was given all the cold. Try it for yourself.… Expand

    You either **** hate it, or **** love it. There's no in-between. I consider myself among the latter. Tough to accept the way they decided to lead the story, but it's just fascinating. The picture, the story, the sound, the physics, everything is top-notch.

    It has one of the most fascinating and plot-twisting story in video game history (in my opinion).
    It is a very mature story about hatred, love, denial and revenge, and with those It is not obvious after all which characters to love, and which to hate.
    Yes, Joel is being killed at the beginning, but this is what makes this story so heartbreaking. No other game gave me that feeling before, and I am grateful and angry at this game at the same time.

    I really love this game, there is many beautifully emotional scenes where I cried. Some people hate it, because of LGBTQ+ propaganda, but it's too few such scenes. In total, that's a great game that give you emotions and opportunity to think about the story. Slava Ukraine, Slava Shevtsovu!

This game besides all of this, has an incredible gameplay, with new wonderful additions, that builds new ways to approach each scenario from a different form. The stealth in this game is superb. The Story teachs so many lessons about life and it touched me so much, empathy is all. It is a game that elevate the art of making games, by making a bold story, and showing something different about the usual black and white characters and story. The fact that wether are villains or heroes, or who is or not, it is up to the player.It humanizes the characters like no other game has ever done it. A touching game. An unforgettable game.     the 'leaked' are not all accurate and many wrong assumption based on word of mouth.
    if u still on the fence about this game, do watch people play them on youtube and twitch, then u can made up your mind about this.

    Don't listen to all these fake user reviews who i can 100% guarantee haven't played the game.
    I played for 5 hours so far and i gotta say it's a masterpiece.
    The gameplay is tense and brutal, the story is gripping and emotional, the visuals are the best of this generation and the music is fantastic.

    The details Naughty Dog have gone into in creating this game is incredible. Especially the animations , this is a next gen preview on current gen hardware.

    Seeing the perspective of Abby later in the game makes this story much better and anyone hating on the ending , misses the point of why Ellie spares her.

    Fantastic game in every aspect. Never thought I'd enjoy it as much as I did. You really have to play it to appreciate it. Also Metacritic really needs to link psn accounts to confirm these people own the game before reviewing.
    A lot mentally ill people who've never played the game are obviosuly review bombing with 0s. Takes away any credibilty from user score

    I woke up at 4 am to play this game. The first thing I did when I woke up was quickly scan metacritic for what people were saying. I saw all the **** reviews and knew it had to be bull****. The graphics are the best I've ever seen on a console so far. The acting is amazing, the controls are just like the first one. The story has me hooked in all ready. I'm anticipating this game to be at least as great as the original, hence the 10 rating. I'll change my review if this turns out not to be the case.

    What has me perplexed is all the terrible reviews. Assuming that everyone who reviewed this game before me started playing at midnight, and assuming they all submitted they're reviews at 3:59 am, that would mean they would have had maybe 2 hours and 20 mins of gameplay tops over me. What could possibly happen in 2 hours and 20 mins to completely derail this experience? Impossible to do a 180 that quickly. If you're reading these reviews this early on and seeing all this negativity, then you're being trolled. If you loved the first game, this is a must play for sure.    … Expand

    It’s really good. I avoided most of the discussion surrounding the story once it leaked so I could experience it on my own and I have to say, I don’t understand what everyone’s upset about. I’d hate to think that it’s just because the main character is gay, because the amount of negativity is astounding. But at this point that’s all I can think of. Aside from the mention of a “bigot-sandwich” in the very beginning, the romance flows quite well with the story. And the story is good on it’s own. Honestly, I don’t get what the fuss is about. The only downside to the game is that, aside from a few new features, the game is functionally identical to the first one, which is great if you enjoy the first one like I do, but still disappointing when compared to the “gameplay footage” shown at E3 a few years ago. The game is good. If you like the first one you’ll like this one, well worth the money I spent on it.… Expand

    I think that this game is a difficult one to understand and it is a game of revenge, it was a risk and for me, it mostly works and the ending leaves it open for a third part which I would love to see happen.

    One of the best games ever created. Strong plot, amazing characters, gameplay beyond praise. I won’t even talk about the graphics, this is Naughty Dog. Once again, they raised the bar higher for the entire industry, but no one can catch up with them.

Il y a une vraie proposition ludique avec des séquences de shoot ou du « jeu du chat et de la souris " pour dynamiser le rythme. Comme le font aussi les nombreuses cinématiques et les réguliers flashbacks.
