    I just want to say, don't be discouraged by the user reviews, the leak she were controversial which lead to a lot of hate and hence, review bombing. There's we people there with genuine issues with the game, yes. I for one love the game

    Gameplay 7/10 I personally would put it at a 10, but I put it at 7 because I know not everybody enjoyed the gameplay of the last game that much, and this just makes minor improvements
    Story 6/10 again, personally would put it higher, but I know people have serious issues with the game and especially it's ending, which won't be spoiled here but know it's a case of you will either be fineness with it or despise it.

    Bad reviews are coming from people who can't accept Joel's death and they are now blind.. .they didn't even finish the game.

    Best Game of this console generation! Never seen such authentic dialouges in a video game before. Neil Druckmann is a genius for sure!
    Don't listen to all this haters who havent even played this masterpiece at all!

    Masterpiece!!!! People are complaint over leaks without any context, this is by far the most deep and raw type of game ever created. Is not here to please you, is here to tell you a story in a way so grounded that nothing will be how you wanted to be.

    A worthy sequel to one of the greatest games ever made. All the homophobic children leaving 0’s should be ashamed of themselves. Halfway through the game and it’s every bit as enjoyable as the first.

In fact, this criticism did not play the game, it goes towards those **** crappy subsectors, human spoils that defend CD projekt Red because they are sectarians of that company and defend cyberpunk 2077 and the Witcher 3 as if they were his parents or as if his life depended on it when in fact their lives are insignificant and everyone's dick is sweating what he's doing and nobody pays attention to them and that's why they do that. How pathetic your life, and on the other hand what they do is attack the last of us 2 because they put minorities and put characters that are lesbian and (supposedly) the game has a political agenda, say some subnormal when they don't even know what that means. I'm going to ask you one thing, **** what the hell do you care if minority or LGBT characters have gotten involved when in fact this is better for the industry because that way the public is wider and on top of that you have not created the game and surely you attack them without having a clue and without having tried it in the slightest and something else, if the developers get the hang of putting those things in, they do it because it's their game **** go with the **** Poles, bone your CD projekt **** network and when you have a law or political science degree you talk to me about what political agenda means and those political terms that you don't have you have no idea that they are worth **** **** that you talk about without a **** idea because a youtuber called saselandia brainwashes you that he does not have and also toxic video game youtubers say bull**** and you eat it with potatoes because you are **** I'm sick ok?     I was forced to play for someone I hate and for way too long.
    And then the ending wasn't satisfying at all.

    This game is a masterpiece right in line with its predecessor. All of the review bombing is heartbreaking, because it deserves so much better. I could touch on all of the reasons why a bunch of bigots hate this game, and why each of those reasons make the game even more of a masterpiece, but just play it for yourself and see. You won't be disappointed.

Story is simply a masterpiece and gameplay is a dream come true for fans of stealth and action. First Tlou started it but the second one achieved a cinematic stealth/action gameplay perfection. Unbelievable animations, graphicsEven better than the first one. Bigger, more complex and closer to perfection than any other game that i played before. Can’t wait to start a second play trough.     We all have the potential to be the villain in someone else's story and this game does a great job at showing of the horrible, as well as beautiful, parts of the human condition. Now, the story wasn't the greatest. The visuals are phenomenal, the story was engaging and at times nail biting seeing how they were able to kill off Joel so easily it gave me the fear that anyone could die at anytime. I didn’t feel like there was any plot armor throughout the entire time. This truly was a part 2 as it tied into the ending of TLOU 1 and expanded upon on it in TLOU 2. I will definitely be playing TLOU 2 again since the areas you explore as either Ellie or Abby were so expansive I know I didn’t get everything in order to get the platinum trophy.Good workNaughty Dog… Expand

    Don't believe the 1/10 ratings. The game is absolutely beautifully done. The plot will provoke strong emotions (just like part 1) and I understand that that will divide people, but I loved it. People who didn't like the plot don't have the ability to strongly emphatize with others (Abby's side of the story). And even if you don't like the plot, it is just childish and ignorant to rate aDon't believe the 1/10 ratings. The game is absolutely beautifully done.     What's art? I'm sure everyone has his definition and it's really difficult to define it because it deals with feelings. But I think it's easier to define what's not art. Courage decisions are NOT art! Courage decisions are courage decisions! I can play the piano in front of a paying audience with my elbows...sure a courage decision, but I can't blame the audience if doesn't understand my "art". I don't want to spoiler anything but regarding the story, this game is written very bad. It's not the events that happens but HOW they happen! The gamer will feel manipulated for 90% of the game.

    Really Naughty Dog is all they have to give after 7 years? The gameplay is better than the first TLOU because now you can jump, dodje and lay down (finally in 2020!).

    There are very long boring sections where you really don't know where to go. Sure, it's a Naughty Dog characteristic but please, listen to the gamers sometimes. I Know "artist's" ego can become too big sometimes...but, Naughty Dog should listen to the gamers more.

    Regarding graphics, I think they did a great job. That's the best part of the entire game. But it should be by default for flagship company with unmeasurable budjet.

    Love this game. Last of us 2 returns with everything I liked about the first game. The survivalist feel of the game is doubled in last of us two and the game is wonderfully delivered.

    It's a really great game. While I can understand some of the negative critics here, in that I had several moment where I could not empathize with the main character, I still deeply enjoyed the game. I really liked discovering the same events from different points of view.

    I won't spoil anything for anyone, but the decisions made by the characters are JUSTIFIED even if I don't personally agree that it's a route they SHOULD have taken. The point is that the story is so well crafted and nuanced that as the player, you come to an understanding during the game that the routes these characters take, COULD possibly happen to someone under the same circumstances. It's a dark turn, but it's not an illogical leap.

    For the negative reviewers to call this game "a pitiful revenge story" "filled with unlikable characters" "decisions that are ridiculous and unbelievable" Is a massive overstep, and I really believe that those people missed the whole point of the story, the character's development (or devolution), and the many reasons to empathize with them, while also not forgiving them for their decisions, but also still being able to appreciate a well told story supported by superb yet conflicting moments of raw emotion.

    There has never been a game like this before, it is one of a kind, and it is a gaming gem of this generation. The sad part is that it will forever be misunderstood and underappreciated for various factors, mostly because of the die hard community of fans that had their own expectations of what this game should have been. Too bad they couldn't realize that it was never up to them, and that the direction the developers went in told a compelling story, that is still believable, and that is poignant and brutally sad and beautiful simultaneously.

    I read a review which rated the game 0 because " killing Joel were wrong because any father that was in his place would have done the same thing". Well, I agreed with that sentiment completely in the first game since I would have done the same. However, with Abby's play-through I understood her motivations as well. The faceless monsters about to operate on Ellie became humanized and I could sympathize with their motivations.
    Also, I understood why Abby "would kill Joel - because he killed the only family she had remaining".
    The motivations are no longer back or white, just shades of grey. Beautiful game about revenge and how it consumes you and also about learning to let go.    … Expand

    With that analogy lets get into the actual technical stuff of this review. Is TLOU2 good NO, is it bad? NO. Would I suggest buying this game HECK NO. The game is a buggy inconsistent mess. I found roughly 3000 bugs. That as a QA tester myself I'd consider show stoppers.

    Ive had enemies fall through the floor, dogs spawn from no where and many other bugs including escaping the boundaries of the map to cut what otherwise would be 28 hrs of gaming to around 7.

    The only saving grace of this game is that its graphical fidelity is decent. As in take god of war at about 3k and drop it down to 1080p good. IS IT WORTH 60 USD? NO. is it worth 30 or 20? Nah still too much. I'd give it about a 15 dollar value.

    TLOU2 is no masterpiece its what every other game has done and barely holds on. These 10/10 bot reviews are as bad as the 0/10 the combat is clunky and feels like a old gears of war game the plot feels like chumming for sharks. And the overall plot is about as solid as watching another half baked redone "taken" movie.

    Would I say don't play this game nah, is it so bad you should avoid no. Would I say to play this game also no. For me its a 6 outta 10 cause the blatant laziness. its also very DEPRESSING. I'm using gaming analogies to avoid spoilers. But its for me just above average. If you want to play a game play something else. And I pray don't make the mistake of sinking 2 days into this game.     Naughty Dog, вы смогли мне дать то чего я не ощущал никогда. Это великолепно.

    Естественно у игры есть минусы, но на фоне того что я испытал. Это просто иголка в стоге сена размером с огромный город.
    Из минусов хочется выделить слишком продолжительную ВТОРУЮ часть игры (кто прошёл, тот поймёт о чем я) Но! Когда ты уже в середине ВТОРОЙ половины игры, ты начинаешь понимать зачем это было сделано. И из минуса это потихонечку переходит в огромный плюс. Без этой ветки сюжетной, я бы не получил такие эмоции.
    Я морально убит... Плохо это или хорошо судить вам, а лично я думаю если произведение искусства (а именно этим я считаю игру) смогло тебя взять за живое,то это просто... Без слов... Шедевр.

    the game had huge potential, ooc characters and plot holes damaged the story telling heavily, the game drags a lot, gameplay is stale and lacks creativity, one of the strong points is the environment and the graphics are amazing on that field nothing to say but good things. People were waiting for something close to the first game but this was not it. Didn't have fun playing it 2/10.

    First things first: If you listen to anybody saying "agenda, feminism" or things like that to criticize this game, stop them and remind them: First, Ellie was based on the actress Ellen Page, who revealed to be a lesbian on TV and has been continuously fighting for the lgbt community. Ellie was created like that, we can see it in the first game and confirm it on the DLC. The game is set for the most part in Seattle, a city which is symbol for lgbt rights and many others. The trailers showed us that. This is not agenda, Bill from the first game was also homosexual and nobody was complaining about it. I'm really happy they decided to stick to this decision.

    Second: IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO FINISH THIS GAME IN A DAY. And I mean it, I took my 28 hours of gameplay to finish it, spread out during Friday to Monday. Most of the bad scores came on the first day and the reason for that is obvious: There's a scene in the beginning that, in my opinion, exists only to divide who is not going to play because they can't stand the idea of progress and Ellie being gay, from the people who don't care about it or like that idea. This scene is there to make some people close the game, people who Neil Druckman and the cast probably didn't want playing it anyway. So that's why the score is now going up. People who really finished after days of playing can now come and give their real opinion about it. Don't trust reviews from Friday or Saturday, those people didn't finish the game.

    Now, I need to say that the story has some bad moments where you are going to get really angry and ask "why are you doing this game? WHY?". And for a moment I thought all the reviews were real. But wait a little, finish the game, in the end everything is going to be worth it. Ok, there are some moments that I really think they should have removed because they just make you feel frustrated, but overall, it's a brilliant game. Anyway, The story is a masterpiece, but you definitely need to finish to understand it. It made me cry 5 times.
    People are only complaining about it because they didn't finish or they didn't understand the first game. This game teach us never to listen only to one side of the story, never to judge a person, anyone, if you don't know their story. Was joel a hero or a villain in the first game? You should really think about JOEL'S actions and its consequences in the first game if you want to understand Part 2 and why the story is what it is.
    Is it as good as The Last of Us 1? Nop, nothing will be, but it's a masterpiece on its own and really deserves a 10. I'm just sad with all this score bombing situation, it's not a game which deserves it!    … Expand

    I have played barely 6 hours. I don´t understand the rates. Te game is pretty good. The storyhooks you and the gameplay is such addictive. There are many details on every animation.
