    Just finished the story and wow. This game is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend you guys to try it out and don’t get blinded by bias and pre-assumptions.

    I honestly dont understand why all the hate for this game, most reviews just say 'bad characters' 'awful story' but not seeing any clear evidence as to what makes this game THAT bad?! The characters, acting and cinematics are excellent and I can feel what they feel when in control. Everybody hating the story can't accept it for what it is, I wouldn't be surprised if the people who areI honestly dont understand why all the hate for this game, most reviews just say 'bad characters' 'awful story' but not seeing any clear evidence as to what makes this game THAT bad?!     So I'm playing this game on survival difficulty i have 20 hrs of gameplay so far, and as a neutral gamer that i love to play games on every platform let me share my opinion. This game is amazing, the combat alone is on an other level, The Graphics are unbelievably jaw dropping especially that is coming from a 1.8 tf 2013 console.     The story of the game is very forced and bad. They simply endeavored to displease the players who waited seven years to follow the sequence. Unfortunately, innovations cannot save the bad story created for the game.

    I can’t believe I wasted 80 dollars on a game with the most disgusting story ever created. Do not waste your money buying this **** if you wanna see the game just watch the gameplay on YouTube, this **** aint worth spending money. The storyline will literally break down all your hopes and smash them into dirt, neil cockmen has lied to us we’ve been tricked into buying a lie.

    Anything below a 9/10 for this game is just an entitled gamer wanting attention. Last of Us 2 is a masterpiece and must be played. Disregard the 30K crybabies that can't get over the direction ND went with the storytelling.

Manteve a seriedade do ambiente apocalíptico do primeiro e a necessidade de fazer tudo para sobreviver, colocando em cheque se as ações são justificáveis ou não. Tecnicamente o jogo supera qualquer coisa feita nos consoles dessa geração. A estória choca com o drama alternando amor e violência, alegrias e despidas não desejadas.     Naughty Dog has made it again. One of the best videogames I've ever played, without a doubt one of the games of the generation.
    More and better than the first in almost every aspect. Technically it is sublime, a new ceiling in the industry at all levels. It's long -more than 30 hours in the first playthrought-, and the characters and the plot catches you -unless you are a hater oc-.

    The original Last of Us was a great game. Alas, The Last of Us part 2 is... not. When you set out to make a game that's controversial and divisive -as opposed to inclusive- this should not come as too much of a surprise. But "it's a bad game" isn't very helpful. Let's see if we can be more specific.

    I have 5 categories scored 0 to 2 and a personal experience modifier that, depending on my experience playing can add or subtract up to 2, save that it can't reduce a score to 0 or raise it to 10.
    0= unacceptable
    1= acceptable
    2= excellent

    SOUND: 1. Nothing to write home about but no specific complaints. Nothing that stood out, nothing that caught my attention or that I found memorable or especially well-executed. Just... acceptable.

    GRAPHICS: 2. It's no Horizon Zero Dawn or Ghosts of Tsushima but it's still visually amazing and has a lot of character. As much as it annoys me given how awful the... actually that's another category. We'll get to that next. It looks really good.

    STORY: 0. And that's only because my scoring system does not allow anything lower. Everything else can be excellent but if you have a crappy story you'll still have a crappy game. I don't want to go into any specifics here because there's so much to hate that if I started I'd never get the review finished- but it suffices to say that it's amateurish, unpolished and makes very poor narrative choices. And I'm being as complimentary here as I can. The whole thing leaves me with a bad taste in my soul and -as a writer myself, not to mention a fan of the first game- highly offended.

    CONTROLS: 1. Essentially the same from the first game without any noticeable improvements. They work, but the issues the first game had were never corrected.

    EXECUTION: 0. This category describes how all the elements of the game come together. Remember how earlier I said that you can have great sound, great graphics, great controls and all that but if you have a crappy story you have a crappy game? Case in point. All the mechanics work, the sound is there and the graphics are gorgeous- but the story is utter garbage and therefore so is the game.

    PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: -2. And, once again, this is because the system I use will not allow me to subtract more. Where do I begin here? The 'rubbing-your-face-in-it' homosexuality was a huge turn-off for me. If it has been tastefully done it would be different but... that wasn't the case here. The fate of a certain central character from the first game is unforgivably cheap and unsatisfying, the idea of intentionally making a game to be divisive rather than inclusive rubs me the wrong way, the ham-fisted approach to storytelling... well, we talked about that earlier. And, frankly, the way Naughty Dog unethically and intentionally weaponized false copyright claims (though that obviously wasn't the game's fault) would have skewed my feelings against the game even if I would otherwise have absolutely *loved* it. Oh yes, and then there's the whole agenda-pushing thing. But enough of that. Let's calculate the final score.

    4 before my personal experience, which takes it down to 2. And, I wish to add, that number does not accurately communicate the contempt I have for this game's story. If it weren't for that, I'd be able to score this game a solid 7 to 8. Such a shame.    … Expand

    Naughty Dog never ceases to amaze me! Although I can't say that I wasn't crushed about some of the story, it's still very powerful. Whether or not you like the antagonist or not, in my opinion she was played with whole heart. The cast was amazing in my opinion, and like the first game, I couldn't help but get into a n emotional rollercoaster with it . Visuals, sounds ( which I totallyNaughty Dog never ceases to amaze me! Although I can't say that I wasn't crushed about some of the story, it's still very powerful. Whether or not you like the antagonist or not, in my opinion she was played with whole heart. The cast was amazing in my opinion, and like the first game, I couldn't help but get into a n emotional rollercoaster with it . Visuals, sounds ( which I totally recommend using a good stereo headset), and action are over the top as expected with Naughty Dog.     I very much liked watching a lets play. Its very upsetting at points if you cant think outside your own mindset. Its very good in showing that there arent just black and white in the world.

    The only possible explanation for ppl rating this game so highly is that they didnt care at all for tlou, or are forcing themselves to enjoy this game, because if they don't, they're gonna be 'homophobic'. Everything the first game built was completely thrown into the garbage can, it's that simple.

    Passed the game with pleasure! The gameplay, graphics and sound are at the highest level.. But! The plot twists were very disappointing and the emphasis was on non-traditional relationships.. In General, only 9 points, apparently the game of the year will still be Ghost of Tsushima

I think this game makes stronger the connection between Ellie and Joel,Yeah Joel might be dead at the beginning . But as the developers said ; this game is about Joel and Ellie's relationships,I just say wow , FİRST EVER GAME that made me cry that much .
    Gameplay wise ; Most realistic and fun gameplay so far .Melee combat is the best . Ranged combat is awesome. Areas are bigger than ever , live than ever.
    Other stuff ; that visuals are the best so far for hundred percent , musics are better, i don't have enough words to describe how this game is more than awesome, more than masterpiece..The game always surprises you too.

The last of us part 2 no tiene esa magia, es una narrativa de contradicciones, de lazos fuertes entre personajes, que no corresponden a un desarrollo normal de una historia.     Amazing game in all aspects. Maybe it wasnt the story people were expecting but it was a story worth telling. Best game of the generation without a dubt. Only thing that is missing is the multiplayer. Nothing else.

I quickly forgot about it once I’d started playing. This game is a masterpiece in story telling. People are complaining about the story choices but listen, they are only angry because they didn’t experience it organically through gameplay. Without the spoilers, no one would be complaining. This game is beautiful. It’s dark, it’s heart wrenching and utterly exhausting. This is exactly what you want for the Last Of Us universe. It’s not a walk in the park. It shouldn’t be. Not everyone will love the outcomes and that’s fine. Just enjoy the experience. I am a huge fan of the first and I am left very satisfied with this journey. The story of Ellie and Joel has been engrossing from the start and The Last Of Us Part 2 really takes it to the next level. There are some incredibly moving moments, and some dark, heartbreaking arcs. There are a whole new cast of great characters and luscious locations. Wonderful story telling. Hats off to everyone who worked on this magnificent game. 10/10.… Expand

    История показана с двух сторон баррикад, позволяя понять мотивы обеих сторон.
    Лишь пара моментов в игре могут показаться сомнительным решением, но эти моменты каждый определяет для себя сам.
    С технической точки зрения игра сделана невероятно. Видно, как Naughty Dog старались над игрой долгие годы. Особенно это можно заметить, если исследовать каждый уголок игры. Почти везде можно найти что-то интересное.
    Весь необоснованный хейт в сторону игры совершенно не заслуженный. Видно, что почти все отзывы оставляют игроки, явно не прошедшие игру. Очень редко можно встретить действительно объективный отзыв людей, кому игра не понравилась. Это печально, потому как видно, как над игрой бережно работали.
    Я прошел игру на высокой сложности за 26 часов и это был великолепный опыт не хуже первой части.    … Expand

Да , у игры есть недостаток в виде сжв повестки , но ее настолько мало , что на нее можно спокойно забить и играть . Да и игра настолько классная , что она перекрывает этот недостаток .     Technically it's the game of the year! But unfortunately a game does not survive only on graphics and level design ...
    The story is simply disappointing ... Abby is a great character, don't take me wrong ... I really had higher expectations toward the story

    The story is very bad, and the writing is very poor. Ellie and Tonny are not consistent, The game makes you play with the "villain" trying to make you like her... for, it didnt worked. I didnt care for her or for the other characters in her story.. they are all boring as hell, add nothing to almost nothing to the storey and takes a whole 12 hours to pass by... There is a "boss" fight when you are controlling the "Villain" and you must win Ellie... that was the dumbest thing I've ever saw in a game. After this fight, Ellie loose and the game should come to an end, but it didnt. It makes very little sense, but Ellie goes after the "villain" again and the ending is VERY disapponting.    … Expand

    This game is absolutely beautiful. The scenes are fully fleshed out with no space wasted and the story is fantastic. Though this suffers from the same issues as the first game, mostly the combat and enemy variety is lackluster and sometimes frustrating. If you liked the first then you'll enjoy this too. I would say a more accurate score would be an 8 but I'll give it a 10 because of allThis game is absolutely beautiful.     I get that you wanted to try something new, but this? - there is no honor in this!

    Why not have Ellie arrive at a research facility because she wanted to find a cure and became mad at Joel because he told her the truth. Then something goes wrong at the facility and a lot of the infected overruns the facility so Ellie, Joel and Abby needs to escape together. Joel cannot escape because he had gotten bit previous due to a situation with the infected where Tommy lost his life, but Joel had to see Ellie one last time because she is his “daughter”. Joel then says goodbye to Ellie and the two of them have a father-daughter moment before Abby is leading Ellie to a secret door. Joel realizing what he did to Abby and gives her an apology for what it is worth. He did it to protect Ellie because he sees her as his daughter, Abby can relate to this and forgives him for his sins. Joel then closes the door shut behind them and he barricades himself to the door with a chain and the infected attacks and kills Joel while he provides Ellie and Abby some time to get to safety. Running down the corridor Ellie hears Joel’s screams of pain While tears are running down her cheeks. Ellie and Abby must now try to work together to find another facility and try to safe what is left of the human race before it gets too late. Doing the story this way you avoid **** ALL OVER A FATHER FIGURE AND A BELOVED FRANCHISE! WHICH I AM SORRY TO SAY BUT YOU GUYS AT NAUGHTY DOG JUST PUT THE LAST NAIL IN THE COFFIN!     They removed almost all of the puzzle elements from the game. Story is also poorly written and feels violent just for the sake of being violent. I thought the first game was pretty good but this is just a huge step down in my opinion.

    It's a complex story about vengeance and hate and what it does to people.
    I think it's important in this game to play as abby to really understand her motives. At first I hated her but then I felt bad for killing all her friends as Ellie.
    Never before have I questioned the heroism of the main character in a game and felt sorry for the villain.

На фоне первой части многим он может показаться "не таким крутым" но, будем откровенны, в первой части игры так же не было никаких сюжетных откровений и новшеств. Мы полюбили ее благодаря любви разработчиков к своему детищу. Сюжет и история были просты, но они были преподнесены с интересной стороны, и отыграны на высшем уровне. То же самое вы найдете и во второй части. Хоть главная идея второй части и немного отличается. Но главный вопрос обеих частей остается неизменным "Как далеко ты готов зайти?"

    Сюжет и сюжетные решения которые вы увидите в этой игре могут быть понятны не всем, но это и хорошо, потому что нужно иметь хоть немного мозгов чтобы понять что пытаются нам сказать авторы. И те кто сетуют в отзывах на концовку игры - судя по всему в нее попросту не играли, а посмотрели слитые видео и спойлеры в сети, и обозлились.
    Играя в эту игру у меня даже не было желания на минуту отходить и откладывать ее. Она затягивает и держит в напряжении. Хочется играть и проходить дальше и дальше.
    Пожалуйста - если вы хотите по настоящему оценить и прочувствовать игру - поиграйте в нее сами, пройдите ее полностью. Вы не пожалеете.

    I just wasted my money, the story is garbage, I'll pretend that this game never existed, I saw Joel many times in the trailers especially when he says " you think I'll let do this on your own" I got so excited, I even avoided the spoilers and ended up very disappointed, thank you naughty dog for misleading us.

    The ONLY reason TLOU2 really works for me is because of how emotionally invested and attached I was to the characters of Pt I. This game isn’t afraid of closely and uncomfortably examining the consequences. In my opinion, there really wasn’t any other way to justify a sequel to the near-perfect game that TLOU was.

    Gameplay wise, (though admittedly a bit dated) everything TLOU did, this one does better. The tension, the environmental storytelling, and the fluidity, the balance of control vs desperation in any given combat scenario - all of it has been perfected. I do my best to temper expectations going into any game I’m excited about, but I’m almost relieved to say that this one DELIVERS and then some.

    Bravo, ND, keep doing what you do and I can’t wait to see what y’all do next.

    Gamers, please keep an open mind and just TRY this one out. There’s a lot of fun to be had at the end of the day, regardless of how you feel about the representation on display here. Which isn’t a bad thing come on.... because THE STORY WORKS.

    TLDR; great game, you owe it to yourself to try it out if you own a PS4, keep an open mind and don’t just pile on to a work of art without adequate context and information.    … Expand
