    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. After completing the game twice and getting 100% on it I feel that I have enough of an understanding of it to write down my opinions!
    This game is polarizing to say the least. Let’s start with talking about the elephant in the room, the story and the characters. In my opinion this story was GREAT. It made me feel so many emotions that I have a hard time to even comprehend. In my opinion the story was crafted so finely that the emotions you feel so closely corresponds with the characters that you are interacting with that it almost feels like you are there and experiencing the loss and despair.

    *SPOILERS*
    When Joel got killed in front of me I felt a hole in my heart that I didn’t know how to fill again, if this isn’t great storytelling I don’t know what is. To be able to make the players feel this connected to these characters is a feat of its own.
    Through the whole journey this made me feel a connection with a main character that I have never felt before, I was just as angry and lost as Ellie through this emotional horror story. The part of the story that I had a hard time with was some parts of Abby’s storyline. My only gripe with it though is that it was too long. That said I like the direction Naughty Dog went with it though. Starting Abby’s side of the story when you still hate her and want nothing else than to finish her off to growing to sympathise with her by the end of her storyline. I never liked her, but you don’t have too and I think that’s the point. She, just as Joel and Ellie isn’t perfect. They all screw up, get people close to them killed and does anything and everything to succeed in their own crusades.

    Let’s talk about the gameplay.
    This game, more than the first one, has really nailed what the gameplay should be in this world. Searching for ammo feels rewarding and makes the world more real when you have to scavenge around the whole map to find useful items. The fact that you can go in and out of stealth also really sells the probability of the world more, as being caught by an enemy no longer feels like you messed up the section but instead you just have to adapt your approach and adjust on your feet when something goes wrong!
    The gameplay also makes a great addition to the story, matching the gameplay to the two different characters which also helps to sell the world.

    I’m not saying the game doesn’t have flaws, because it does. It’s not air-tight but god damn it’s good. Like they could have been more clear with how overwhelming the horde of infected where to further sell why Joel and Tommy would follow Abby in the first place. Mostly to show people that this is still the hardened and careful Joel that we knew from the first game. This will, after the smoke of war has settled, be considered a masterpiece and will definitely be remembered as great game. I remember when the first game came out how many people (including myself) right after finishing the story also where pretty mad at it for robbing the player of what felt as the goal of the game. But after thinking about it and playing it again, I was in love with it and I think a lot of people would feel the same way about this game if they gave it a chance with an open mind!

È troppo tutto, sono abbastanza presa a male da alcune cose messe a cazzo di cane, perché sti idioti non sapevano come "chiudere" il capitolo per far subentrare sicuramente qualcosa di nuovo, infatti per un paio di ore di gioco cose che non hanno senso, soprattutto guardando il finale. Bella merda, noi fissati con sto capolavoro che avete reso una stronzate colossale. Delusione totale. Si salva solo la grafica praticamente, di trama e storia zero.… Expand

    Garbage sequel not worth your money. Im glad this got leaked thank you to the guy who did it. the only good thing about the game is the graphics and the gameplay. Story characters and pacing is beyond terrible. What happens to a certain character is bull crap. A terrible out of character moment people try to justify. Your just trying to justify garbage writing. They turn Ellie into anGarbage sequel not worth your money. То есть идет навязывание,а 80% населения земли, против навязывания чего либо.Ты считаешь что это хорошо, ок считай. Но если другой считает что это плохо, то это плохо, и с этим надо считаться а не поддерживать как других людей (не надоСюжет вообще не о чем,глупая, банальная детская месть, хотя игра взрослая. The story is an absolute mess, nobody in the WLF is interesting at all they all suck and have no brains (why tf send a pregnant lady out on the frontlines in the first place). All the stuff in between big parts of the game is extremely boring and not engaging. What made the first game so special was the interesting, funny and MEANINGFUL dialogue happening throughout the story. None of that exists and part of that is because, uh idk, prolly because you killed **** Joel in the first 2 hours of the game. We never get any of those moments between Joel & Ellie and never get to see their relationship evolve. I also have never felt a game try to shove a character down my throat to get me to like her with how they did with Abby. Глупости в поступках поражают - как эти люди могли выжить в постапоке? Во второй части, с сюжетной точки зрения, только эпизод дня рождения Элли могу отметить как хороший. На самом деле на 3,5 из 5, но на фоне остального - отличный.
    3. Игра потеряла в динамике, левелдизайн отвратительный и может ввести в заблуждение только размером локаций. Выход, который 2/3 случаях сопряжен с QTE, просто потому что так захотели разработчики.
    4. Геймплей стал хуже. Годная новая механика только одна - переползания. Почему убрали различие в бутылке и кирпиче - не понятно. Кроме того, в зависимости от ситуации их нельзя сменить. Вообще одноразовый лут раскидан в стороне от арены. Двухкнопочная рукопашка просто смешна.
    5. Боты тупы, (проходил на самом высоком уровне, доступном из коробки потом открываются еще, но играть в это нет ни какого желания). Теряют из виду в упор. Боевка с зараженными стала не интересна, по причинам из следующего пункта.
    6. Сместился акцент с ближнего боя на дистанционный бой что сделало боевку посредственной. Очень много лута в игре, особенно огнестрела, который ни как не оправдан лором и сюжетом. Лут лежит тут потому что его положили здесь разработчики, а не потому что так могло бы быть в постапоке.
    7. Насыщение лора отвратительное. Записки пустые, так еще и написанные как под копирку. Собираемый материал ни как не обогащает сюжет, не раскрывает героев вообще непонятно зачем добавлен в игру в бешеном количестве - просто чтобы был.
    8. Во время игры постоянные флэш бэки к первой части игры. Просто взяли набор знаковых мест первой части, переиграли их в лор второй части и типа новый продукт. Постоянное ощущение что взяли первую часть и выкрутили все бегунки на БОЛЬШЕ, ТОЛЩЕ, СТРАШНЕЕ однако смотрится все это фальшиво.
    9. Игра не оправдано затянута. С сюжетной точки зрения смена стороны не вызвала сочувствия, а только недоумение от очередных ни чем неоправданных решений персонажей, и раздражения от ощущения смены шкурки героя, за которого играешь. Хотя Элли имеет имбанож и винтарь, аналогов которому у Эбби нет.
    10. Абсолютно не запомнилась музыка, ее там просто нет. Ни одной композиции не запомнилось. Ни каких ассоциаций не осталось.
    Обзор был подробнее, но ограничение на символы.
    Если вы еще не покупали эту игру - играйте лучше в первую и считайте что второй не было.    … Expand

    Love the "every coin has 2 sides" reference of playing for both ellie and abby and honestly, you can tell both of them were evil and heroic at the same time, depends on point of view. Love how both story lines of the girls fit to each other. And I have to say, that even TLoU part 1, didnt make me feel that emotionally touched. Great F-ing work Naugtydog.     Its an 8 for me. The story is presented extremely well. Its just not as good as the first tale. The gameplay is improved and exciting. And the game is long with a lot of value. I will say, making the platinum trophy more accessible through way easier trophies.this time around, is a but of a let down.

    I finished the game 3 days ago, and I can't stop thinking about it. I don't think I ever feel this way about a game. This game touch on subject that even 13 Reasons Why failed to delivered. It's a very risky move, because I don't think many players would get it. It's not just simply about breaking the cycle of violence, it's a bout how people deal with personal trauma and healing.

    All I can say is that a beautiful game that worth every penny, I can't agree with all the reviewers on this page about the storyline, because I can't see any other path for ellie and Joel story, I thibk this is the perfect closure and there is not need to bring back another game.

The story is heartbreaking, infuriating (which you children have clearly emphasized), and redeeming all in one package.     На мой взгляд, оценка игры не должна держатся на людях, которые только посмотрев трейлер или обзор или даже поиграв первые 5 часов, сразу бегут минусы игре ставить, так как, это произведение, которое нужно пройти до конца, сесть, подумать и осознать маштабы происходящего. Я согласен что вторая часть фундаментально отличается от изумительной первой части, и это правильно, так как продаватьНа мой взгляд, оценка игры не должна держатся на людях, которые только посмотрев трейлер или обзор или даже поиграв первые 5 часов, сразу бегут минусы игре ставить, так как, это произведение, которое нужно пройти до конца, сесть, подумать и осознать маштабы происходящего. Я согласен что вторая часть фундаментально отличается от изумительной первой части, и это правильно, так как продавать ту же самую историю, но с улучшенной визуальной составляющей и улучшенным геймплеем, было бы как минимум не правильно, учитывая что игру ждали 7 лет. Игра лично для меня 8 из 10, так как мне тоже не понравилось что и как сделали с протагонистом первой части и мне тоже было больно смотреть на это, так как история Last of Us всегда была очень личной и играла на всех струнах, но я понимаю, что это правильное развитие, которое показывает, что история не стоит на месте, и что игра не шутки шутить пришла, а показать взрослую историю о той же маленькой девочке, которая нам всем полюбилась еще в первой части, и которая уже выросла, и именно по этому я поставлю 10, что бы общий юзер скор был достоен этой, изумительной по своему, игре!… Expand

    It is empowering for women, trans and gets close to problems people would have in that kind of postapocalyptic world.
    My most sincere congratulations to the naughty dog team, please keep making games so good as this one.

    The gameplay is brutal, immersive and fast paced. After finishing the game, in about 24 hours, I was conflicted at first. The story is not the greatest but not as totally disappointing as some people make you believe. It's got tons of excellent writing and performance and to be completely honest - after finishing the game 2 months ago, i'm starting it again today.    … Expand

    Truely unique. Absolute masterpiece. Hauntingly beautiful. I lay awake at night thinking about my experience with this game, weeks after I finished. Also, people should spell check before leaving bad reviews. It makes them look dumb.

The world design and attention to detail is outstanding and deserves all the praise. Gameplay is a little weak, many missed opportunities to utilise Ellie's immunity by incorporating it into the combat. The story is poorly written, the characters are bland and inconsistent. The characters feel like a puppet to the narrative rather than driving the plot forward themselves. The sequence of events are poorly managed and remove from the climax. All together, the story comes off as pretentious and trying to preach a narrative that it doesn't believe in itself… Expand

Abby story is not for people to actually like it, its purpose is to make people UNDERSTAND her, and show people that you only like Joel and Ellie because you have play with them. Abby's part is basically tlou 1 with different characters, and i can really state that if that story would have been show before abby killing joel (like in another game, lets say a: "TLOU survivors" people would say it is amazing) The thing, is that you would never like something if it has a part you really hate, and in this case, that part is Abby. And no, arguing that the her story is bad written is not real, there a real reviewers, real gamers go dedicate to analize the game, and 90% of that people say it is a good story, but the reason some people hate it is because Abby, and it is not intentional, it is something psychological, and thats what this game is about.

    2nd: This games is just GREAT because it is the first game where the main character is the same as the other characters, and has the same probabilities to live. God deam this is AMAZING, it sucks that people think this is a bad aspect. They complaing saying people dies like nothing and super fast, and who the f##k in real life dies like a hero and stays alive 10 Minutes to speak its last words? NO, the world of this game is like that, you can die in a second as in real life, it is not a super hero game in wich your main character even tho he has 657381930 people shooting him an his brain out will survive, this game is REAL, it world is REAL, here, even a common solider can die as a main character, and that is amazing, because it is really awfull when you play a game and even in the most dangerous part you are sure that your main character will survive or die like a hero, now, in this game, you are really scared on dangerous parts, because anyone can die, and that is just a feeling no other game/movie has been able to transmit. And people that complain about joel death Just dont understan they are not playing a super hero game, they are playing a game that has this kind of world, you can die in 1 second, and even if you were important, life must continue, there is no time to stop and cry.

    Altough, there are some parts that can be improved, non game is PERFECT 100%, i think something could be fixed is the reason why abby just leaves elllie alive, that part should have been more explained, because the reason is obvious but it should be more explained.

    I think this is a 9.3- 9.4, or a 93/94 out of 100 as it is on metacritic. This is a game like no other, and i think that with time, people will really recognize this game for what it is    … Expand

    The Last of us Part 2 hurt to play. I often found myself yelling at Ellie through the screen begging her not to carry out her revenge driven plan over and over again. The direction Naughty Dog took with the game wasn’t at all where I wanted them to go with it. I hated how depressing the game was and how sad it made me. But, the fact that this video game made me feel so strongly is a testament to how good the game is.

    As a Character Study, TLOU2 is absolutely fantastic in that it shows the detailed progression of Ellie’s descent into madness. The circumstances Ellie faces constantly make her ask herself just how much she’s willing to lose to seek revenge on Abby and gain closure over Joel’s death. Her answer? Everything. And we see this at the end of the game: by the time she realized how pointless the cycle of violence was, she’d already lost her friends, her lover, her family, and even the last physical connection she had to Joel. But by ending the cycle of violence and ultimately forgiving Abby, Joel, and herself, she’s able to finally start her life. I loved how the game didn’t just discard the events of the first TLOU and was willing to flesh out and deal with untied knots from the first game, and although the end result was gut wrenchingly painful to bear witness to, I couldn’t help but feel hopeful by the games finish.

    I felt as though Abby’s section of the game was fantastically done as well. I won’t get into this part too much, but Naughty Dog’s ability to introduce and make you care for these intricate, fleshed out characters in a short amount of time is really incredible.

    However, this game isn’t without fault. One of my biggest issues with this game was probably the huge disconnect is has from the first game. I’m glad ND took a different path with this game and didn’t just decide to make TLOU2 the same thing as TLOU1. However, so much has changed between the first game and this one, and I feel like what would’ve serviced the game more is if they had replaced some of the “point a to point b” gameplay sequences with a couple more fleshed out cut scenes detailing how Ellie and Joel’s relationship has progressed. I feel as though that would help bridge the gap of the 2 games and also help make the gameplay seem less dragged out (seriously, a lot of the times the game took so many unnecessary detours that were obviously for lengthening purposes, it was really annoying.

    Another thing that brought TLOU2 down was advertising. Now I’m happy with the end result of the game, BUT... it was basically advertised as another buddy adventure with Ellie and Joel where there would be a lot of time spent with him, and that’s just not the case. I can understand why people dislike this game as much as they do just due to the fact that they were basically convinced by adverts that they would be getting a different game than the one they ultimately received.

    Overall, a really great game with a couple of noticeable flaws. Not for everyone, but I really appreciated this game for what it was.

Joel’s death makes sense, it’s justified by your action in the first game let alone what we don’t see before we meet Ellie. Tess explains that they are **** people”. Joel knew that his actions would catch up to him eventually but it is all worth it if he gets more time with his new “daughter”. The things Ellie does in this game aren’t justified because of what Abby did to Joel and Ellie coming to that realization at the end of the game is the best thing that could happen for her. By the end she finally has closure which is what she was the looking for during the whole game. And by leaving the guitar behind I believe this symbolizes Ellie forgiving Joel and moving on. Say what you want about the narrative of this game but the storytelling is next level. The visuals are incredible and so is the sound design. This is the pinnacle of game design. “Don’t ruin this gift” With your petty remarks about where Naughty dog decided to go with the narrative of this masterpiece. I am truly amazed by this game. Love it for what it is not what you expected. Fan service isn’t always a good thing. Naughty Dog took a big step here and I believe it payed off.… Expand

It was groundbreaking in the video game world, there was nothing like it in so many ways. Since it's release it solidified itself as one of the best pieces of post-apocalyptic/zombie entertainment, game play was overshadowed by character development, story, and immersion. And it remains in my top 3 games all time. The followup was plagued by externalities, including leaks, assumptions, and bigotry, and the mixed bag of reviews is indicative of that. However, not every negative review should be attributed to bias. There is a lot to hate in this game for some players, and in that way, this game is more similar to a Cormac McCarthy novel than the original. This is not a game you play for fun, I certainly didn't have much "fun," but I was absolutely entertained. It is gritty and uncomfortable, the characters make decisions you wouldn't because they have lived lives that you haven't. Real life doesn't have nice wrapped up endings and clearly defined protagonists, who all make the most reasonable decisions, and antagonists, who act as they do without reason. This is a complex tail that mirrors the random nature of the real world. We lost characters we cherished, both by death and fundamental loss of their character to revenge, rage, and ptsd. If the future of storytelling entertainment is in games, LOU2 took a massive step towards that future. I loved the story, but I also hated many of the decisions made in it. My opinions and feelings towards the main characters changed through the story, and I don't know where they stand now that it has ended. This was an emotionally draining experience, which is a complexity I am happy to see so well done in this medium.
    As far as the game play goes, I enjoyed it substantially more than the first. I argue that this is the best game play of any Naughty Dog production. The style of play feels noticeably different between characters. Stealth is achieved expertly, and gunfights balance between realistic and enjoyable. Where this game has fewer overt puzzles than the first, combat itself feels more like a puzzle here. Combat increases difficulty well, and doesn't have massive jumps in difficulty that the first did. Also, the loads after deaths are the fastest I have ever experienced, there is almost no wait. Overall, I am very happy with this game, and I think it did the original justice. I understand why others didn't feel the same, playing was sometimes a struggle because of how uncomfortable it made me, but it was a huge step forward for what games will be in the future, and I loved the experience.    … Expand

    TLOUS 2 é um jogo que te envolve do início ao fim. Com muita coragem, a Naughty Dog produziu uma narrativa surpreendente. Para mim, a duração do jogo é exatamente a necessária para explicar os motivos que desencadearam as atitudes dos personagens no desenrolar do jogo.
    Sem dúvida, o melhor jogo da geração.

    I don’t fully understand why people didn’t like this game. The whole point of the game is to challenge the player to forgive and understand your enemies pain. I loved this game. Though it had its rough patches it didn’t tarnish the overall experience. Excellent gameplay, excellent writing and a very ambitious narrative structure. These are things I love to see

Therefore, my excitement for this game was through the roof, I couldn’t wait to finish where the first game left off. However, the approach they took in telling this story in part 2 is absolutely terrible. The story is unnecessarily convoluted and pointless. What made last of us part 1 beautiful was it’s simplicity and the evolving relationship between Ellie and Joel. But for insanely strange reason, they completely destroyed what made the first game so beloved.     Best game I have played so far. TLOU2 is truly worthy of being a sequel of TLOU, really good story from both sides of Ellie and Abby, excellent scenarios and gameplay. You can empathize with the character's feelings and it really hurts when you play as Abby fighting Ellie and Ellie fighting Abby. Don't listen to haters, play the game and make your own opinion!!!

Then a sequel was announced and I thought: Ok, this just can't go wrong. In the following years I avoided any trailers, articles, friends gossips, you name it. I'm glad I did, because if I hadn't, I'd be even more pissed.
    I'm not gonna write another review since there are plenty and I think that everyone who loved Part 1 for it's brilliant narrative can understand my disappoinment. I think it's a shame that so much potential has been wasted.

Other characters start at Point A and never leave it or change in any way. Characters in general do not learn from their mistakes, big or small. Some characters have sudden, unexplained personality shifts.)

    Chemistry. (There is none. This likely due to all of the above factors. A couple who come close are let down by bizarrely awkward lines and sudden topic changes, as though a clumsy editor cut whole chunks of conversation out. The main ‘romance’ starts at the beginning of the game and tries to sell us that they totally love each other, because... they just got together. Frustratingly, only a few minor changes could have fixed this.)

    Plot. (The story is simple and that isn’t always a negative thing. But, when the story is simple, sub-plots become critical. This game really only has one sub-plot, towards the end (which was well done). The lack of it throughout most of the rest of the game makes the (beautiful) world around you seem empty and pointless. The simple main story is laughably predictable (when it doesn’t spoil itself outright) and utterly fails to engage.)


    Ultimately, this game is boring. Don’t bother buying it. Find some poor fan who is giving their copy away and try to just enjoy pretty skyboxes and passable stealth combat mechanics.    … Expand

    Not liking some of the plot choices is perhaps the most honest critique one can make about this game, although still unwarranted IMO. I've heard arguments about Joel's fate being out-of-character, and that the "real" Joel would never allow what happened to take place. These arguments overlook the fact that this is not the same Joel from the first game. Years have passed, and Joel has regained something he thought was lost forever. Something to protect, and a reason to make the world a better place. At this point in his life, it's clear that he's reconciled much of his baggage from the first game and has invested in building a future for himself and those he loves. His choices, and how he approaches life in general, are of course going to change. I've also heard some strange critique about how unreasonable and unrealistic it is that finding a vaccine for the game's underlying world threat (the cordyceps infection) would require a human sacrifice, and how anyone who would allow for said sacrifice is irredeemable. This is wrong. 1) This isn't a virus; it's a parasitic fungal infection, so there's no reason to believe finding a vaccine would work the same way as our real world. The game establishes why securing a sample to develop a vaccine would be fatal. 2) This is a fictional story involving a post-apocalyptic future where humans are struggling to survive against fungal zombies. We're meant to suspend our disbelief.

    The second line of criticism is the most troubling to me. Some people just hate Abby, and especially hate that this game attempts to make the player empathize with her. They also hate the so-called "wokeness" of her character and in general the game, by it addressing some LGBTQ issues during her part of the story. Putting this criticism into context, I think it's clear that those who have a problem with Abby are two things: 1) Unwilling to see the world as anything other than black and white, us vs them. 2) Resentful that this fantasy world they want to escape into doesn't reflect the world they actually want... namely one in which LGBTQ people and the challenges they contend with everyday do not exist, men are "purely" men and women are "purely" women. They leave no room for a spectrum of gender roles or identities. They hate Abby's muscles, they ridicule the game's story for merely including gender issues (which aren't even relevant to the overarching themes of the story), and they roll their eyes at Dina and Ellie's burgeoning relationship. None of these inclusions are forced into this story, and happen as naturally as they do in real life. But these particular critics just simply do not want these values in their games, and I can't help but feel like ultimately the reason for this is because they do not want them in their real life. It's sad, but also unsurprising.

    In the end, the reason to love this game is precisely because of how it balances a make-believe world with the very real human relationships and complications we face in the actual one. It will go down as a historic contribution to the medium.    … Expand

Daré una opinión completamente objetiva del juego, el juego es buenísimo y malísimo a la vez , depende de lo que esperas y lo que buscas en el juego, por mi parte puedo decir que si, efectivamente la historia esta muy mal dirigida, guión horrible, el final deja mucho que desear y ese giro al principio de la historia es sinceramente perjudicial para todos los fans de the last of us, como es posible que a Druckmann se le haya ocurrido matar a según mi opinión el mejor personaje de the last of us, simplemente inconcebible, hubiera preferido que Joel tuviera una muerte mas digna, pero dejando de lado la historia, el juego es simplemente muy innovador en todos los aspectos, los gráficos son una completa obra de arte, la banda sonora es una completa obra de arte nada más ni nada menos que por el maestro Gustavo Santaolalla, la jugabilidad es un poco parecida a el juego anterior, pero sin duda se disfruta bastante, le doy un 5 a este juego ya que la historia me parece un elemento sumamente importante que la verdad fue desperdiciado, pero gráficos, jugabilidad, y sobre todo banda sonora son simplemente impresionantes, impresionantes un buen juego que resulta ser arruinado por su malísima Historia, una pena.muerte… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Its stupid how many people hate this game just because it isn't the way they wanted to be. Fans don't write the story, the developers own us nothing, just because our favourite character died doesn't mean the game is bad, actually is awesome. They did the same that did in the last one, they explore the human nature, emotions and what drives a person to go over the edge and lose themselves because they are broken. I have never seen better written characters in any other game in my life. And love or hate Abby, her character and depth are somenthing to admire, which doesn't mean that she has to be a great person, she isn't, but sorry to tell you, neither is Ellie, both of them lose themselves, but some times do the right thing, when they think of someone more than themselves. And the way they close the game, with Abby being this protective and maternal figure, like Joel with Ellie, just warms my heart, and at the same time reminds me of what we lost because of Abby, it's bittersweet, but i think that she needed the chance to redeem herself. And we gotta admite, Abby's section had more exciting gameplay, and even tho I hated when they made me start playing as Abby I ended up loving it, specially in my second run, it hits different knowing everything that happens. And the gameplay it's so smooth and good, i love the mecanics, so good. So, people, stop hating on the game because Joel's death, or the fact that Abby can kick ass because she is **** strong, its not "unnatural", its pretty damn cool finally seeing a strong woman in a videogame, not fighting zombies in a dress and highheels (like Ada in RE, none complains about this one and it is the actually unrealistic one). I also admire that they big such a protagonist role to a trasgender character and I couldn't be happier about it, this is how you present and put on a game a trasgender character, this is what helps normalize this diversity, and if you just don't agree with this character because of who he is, and you think it's not necessary to have him in the game then you are part of the problem and transfobic as **** I'm in love with this game, the audacity of the developers and just the story and everything, makes me emocional and cry every time I play it. They outdone themselves. And as I write this I just want to go back to play it for the fourth time. I hope you have had enjoyed as much as I had, and you continue doing it. I will give it a 10 if it wasn't for three things that bothered me. Number one, some stupid glitches that shouldn't be there and really annoyed me. Second, Dina and Ellie were cute, but too chesse for me sometimes and their scenes were too long when I just wanted to go back to play, like some other cinematics, too long, plus Dina's pregnancy was just weird, a bomb exploded next to her and then she fell of a cristal glass in the celling, and more things that would have probably kill her fetus, I think at least. And the third thing it's the final, I was glad that Abby survived and Ellie did the right thing letting her go because Lev and Abby reminded her of her relationship with Joel and she knew she couldn't do to Lev what Abby did to her, and I understand the irony in Ellie's story and final, what she was most scared of all happened, ended up alone, in that beach. But I really hated that she went back to the house and we had that scene with Joel at the end, I feel like we should have watched that scene way before and the perfect and poetic (painful nonetheless) final would have being just the beach, in my personal opinion.

    Great story and surprisingly long. I enjoyed every moment of it. Everything is hyper-realistic from the cut scenes all the way to the fight sections. Often it feels like it's a live action movie. Any flaws are so minimal that this game is the perfect example of a 5 out of 5 game.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
