    A masterpiece of a game. From the storytelling to the character development. The attention to detail is much more than any game that I have ever played. Don't listen to the bitter xbots and pathetic snowflakes. This game is worth it.

    Playing this game was a complete torture. It was so painful, that I truly started to became more humble in life. The Last Of Us 2 was so bad that stopping the game was a blessing, and relief. And YES the graphics was extremely beautiful, but the storyline trashiness completely over shadows. it. A zero score isn't enough to describe how bad this game is. Unfortunately, when you have a character bludgeon another character's father figure with a golf club alongside a group of men, you do not expect that character to then take that mob leader off of a cross, to then offer them an honorable duel. What you would expect to happen is that mob leader getting a front row seat to the most important person in their life being shanked by a vengeful girl who lost a father figure.

    The graphics are great and the voice acting is too, and that's why this game gets a 3.    … Expand

    For me this was one of the most emotional video game experiences of my life. I also loved that they didn't give it the star wars treatment, but instead told a new and fresh story, while staying true to their characters. Fantastic game!

    I'm a fan of the orifinal TLOU. I think that it is the best game ever. After the witcher 3 I guess. When I found out details of scenario and SJW elements, I was very dissapounted. I'll never buy this game. i watched streams and its enough.

Im happy to see technology improvement help artist paint the more realistic world than ever before. The maps are bigger that the last game and it feel like you have more option to explore. But there isnt any major myth for you to find out like Tomb Raider and the progression fell pretty linear. There are a bunch of accessible options in which some make the game completely turn into a walking simulator. I suggest you should check those first when started playing. AI are just like before, not really bright. They wont make you fell threatened. Cut scene are way too many sometime i feel like im watching a movie. I can say over all its a so-so, its what i expected when buying the game nothing out of the ordinary.

    The story is not what i expected. The theme and direction are completely opposite first game. Turning a new leaf but not in a good way. The first game show us there are beauty in everything, acceptance of losing your loved one and natural way of healing past drama. While this game is about vengeance and hatred. The game force us to feel and understand the felling of the new character while we doesn't have any deep emotional connection except rage and confused toward them. Like you are forced to spend a day with your high-school bully while having constantly being a dick to your best friend. That doesn't feel nature enough to make me feel bad for him because his mother mistreat him as a kid. And then on the final decision you couldn't make it yourself and force to watch another cut-scene again. I think cheap 1$ visual novel have more option to choose than this game.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. There are many things this game made terrible wrong, and most of them just ignored character development of the first game and tried to create a new narrative that made all fans hate this game.

    1) The way Joel dies before solving all issue with Ellie is the start point of this campaign. The relationship between these 2 is broken because the Lie in the end of the first game. And the game ends without a satisfactory conclusion on that regard.

    2) The game introduces a new playable characters, Abbie, and tries hard to make us like her, but in the beginning she is the one that kills Joel in front of Ellie and many others dear to Ellie along the game, which makes her the object of vengeance that Ellie is hunting the entire game.

    3) After everything that she lost and every trouble to find Abbie, Ellie ends in a nonsense fight with her which ends up with Ellie letting her go because she remembered Joel... The guy that singled handled killed everyone just for her sake...

    And that is it, you play a long game with many unsatisfactory developments, only to end up unsatisfied to the very end.

    The graphics are great, animations are awesome, and the music don't lose to the first game, but the story is so unsatisfactory that everything else don't matter.    … Expand

Joel pulls her out and starts cpr. Go back to how you felt at that moment. Then the guard smacks joel in the head. Pissed the F off right? Imagine instead of joel getting hit in the head the guard shoots ellie right in front ofThink about how you felt at the last part of the first game.     Я не понимаю, для кого был сделан TLOU2, для кого? Для фанатов? Наверное нет, это было для того что бы подпалить задницы нормальным людям. Можно мериться с "повесточкой", и закрывать глаза на беременных женщин в патрулях, но вот как можно мириться с историей которая ничего в себе не несёт?     A maior decepção da minha vida...passei a geração toda jogando fifa no ps4 e esperando esse jogo,não tenho muito dinheiro então passo meses juntando grana para poder comprar um único jogo no playstation,e para o tlou2 estava guardando desde o início do ano e comprar no lançamento.     As someone who has actually played the game, I can tell you it is perfect. A work of art. Ignore the bigots and the manbabies that are negative review bombing. They haven't even played the game.

I played the game, I am 4 hours in. Game play wise, it's ok. Graphics are nice. Killing the infected is entertaining. However, my problem is that I loved the relationship between Joel and Ellie in the last of us 1.In the last of us 2, this relationship is non existent. In fact one hour into the game Joel is killed off in one of the most insulting and pointless ways in video game history. Why did naughty dog go with this? Heck I would love to know. What we are left with is a story between ellie and her love interest, Dina. This feels very forced.... Almost shoved in for political points. It feels cheap, out of place, and insulting. What does this have to do with the story? I wanted to see me of Joel and Ellie. I did not get to see more of Joel and ellie. They killed Joel off in the first hour of the game, it's sincerely making me question why I continuing to play this game. My advice, I don't think it's worth spending the money on this one, wait for a sale. As it is... This game ruins everything you appreciated from its predecessor.… Expand

    We already knew it wasn't going to be good, it was horrendous. When Neil Druckamnn decides to start TLoU2 by destroying in the first hours the whole story of TLoU1...
    This is almost as bad as Game of Thrones S08, The Hobbit trilogy and the last Jedi.
    Poor Joel... He deserved better.
    This is probably the worst PS4 exclusive of this generation.

And: Is it still that special to be Gay that it needs to be mentioned all the time, even in the end as one of the last scenes? You play as Ellie and get close to the end, only for it to switch to Abby and you have to relive the past again. So dang BORING!!! A **** attempt to get people to like and understand Abby. I forced myself to go through it because I wasted my money on it, honestly TLOU shouldn’t have had a sequel and I will just pretend this abomination never existed.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
