    firstly, I liked the first game. Great characters, well done story. This new game is not badly done technically. But the story and the message as well as the blatant political agenda that is behind it makes it unplayable for me.

    I literally can't believe this was the game. Poor and I mean, unbelievably poor writing for the story plot. There was no point to be had other than the fact of showing how bad the game writer was. Would not recommend.

    For a game that took 7 years to develop, you’d think the developers would spend that time creating a worthy sequel, but instead we get an unoriginal plot with tons of cringe-filled moments, along with wasted character development and an ending that will make you regret playing the Last of Us 2.     Absolutely fantastic work by Naughty Dog. Graphics, acting, sound and production values are all through the roof, and game play is as fun as ever with more polish than the original. Only thing I didn't care for was the guitar thing. I enjoyed the story too, and I especially like of the twists and ruthlessness that made so many gamers review bomb it. It made for an unexpected andAbsolutely fantastic work by Naughty Dog.     Let me start off by saying they killed the main and one of the most beloved character in the game with the first two hours and you only play as Joel for 5 minutes!!!! Thanks Naughty Dog, you know how to make people happy! I also got the impression they we're trying to make Joel out as this bad guy, I didn't like that. Deep down we all know Joel was a great person. Then they make you play this person called Abby after she kills Joel! I didnt care for her character,I didn't care about her story. I cared about Joel and Ellie's story that's what I waited seven years for this is what happens when you give Neil druckman full control of the game! Plus to make us play as Abby and make us almost kill Ellie! Man that got my blood boiling. Why make your fans go through this I don't understand, are you a so sick deranged person man? The best part of the game were the flashbacks with Ellie and Joel and the graphics. The story was horrible and you're lucky I'm giving it to Stars instead of a zero but I understand a lot of people went through a lot of **** making this game. But, maybe just maybe if you would have Joel go out another way people maybe we would appreciate it game more. This is a spit in the face to me and to true fans of this game. Now the ending was horrible, we get no satisfaction and everything we go all through with are these emotions are for nothing and to have Ellie be all alone and have nothing left in the end is total BS! To start I want to say clearly that this is NOT a review that targets naughty dog or other **** they are saying. if it was just harassment, I wouldn't write that many words into it and only say *** this game. But, it is my personal and sincere opinion on this game. First of all, I want to say that as a big fan of TLOU1, this sequel is a missed opportunity. it is clear purpose was NOT to make the player enjoys a game. it was clearly made to shove SJW ideology into our mouth.

    people on the other side says that everyone who rates it low is homophobic. here I defend myself and all the others by saying that this is not what makes us HATE the game. if their idea was normal inside to context, I will say it's ok. but an entire game that focuses so much on the character's sexuality in a dangerous world were deaths are around every corner is ****.

    More importantly, killing Joel in the most disrespectful way then force us to try to empathy the killer is just pure stupid. Don't get me wrong, I tried my best to give it a try. I truly tried to look through Abby eyes. but however i see it. i think she is just pure evil. trying to make her less evil by her being nice to dogs and trans kids haven't worked as they thought it will work. she and all her gangs are just unlikeable at all. I didn't care for anyone of them as much as I cared for Joel and Ellie. Then, he just kills Joel and makes Ellie lose everything in her life for a stupid typical un-complete revenge story.

    One more note, in so much dangerous world, how can a 13 years kids think about his sexuality so much and believe that he needs to transform into a boy ?????? aggggh just make it believable that all I ask.

    to be fair, the graphics and the gameplay was so damn good, no other game will beat that level of details. I don't think it is a 4.5 game at all. but, as a response to nail when he has given us a big finger by killing our most beloved character and spitting on it and destroying Ellie's character. I will give him this review as a return. The gaming industry depends on the player's opinion, so if he doesn't care about his audience, then he deserves what he gets.    … Expand

    The gore is both unnecessary and unacceptable. Rather than implying the violence, the director grabs you by the back of your neck and shoves your face in it, using closeup shots with some sadistic glee. The fact they wrote this story and chose to display all of the gore with zoom-ins and lingering shots is almost masturbatory, and frankly, disturbing. The gore itself isn't disturbing. It's the director's strange fetishistic fantasy of lingering over it, watching it for many moments. He has issues.

    This gore-fetish game with its disservice to the LGBTQ+ community is absolutely disgusting. Do not buy. Do not wait for sale.

    I eagerly awaited the sequel release to the original, currently 12 hours into it and have very mixed and disappointed feelings towards it. On the graphics side of things, it is amazing. I have found myself just spending some time around the post-apocalyptic maps exploring and just stopping to look at the scenery. The motion capture of the characters is gorgeous, The interfaces and fightingI eagerly awaited the sequel release to the original, currently 12 hours into it and have very mixed and disappointed feelings towards it. On the graphics side of things, it is amazing. I have found myself just spending some time around the post-apocalyptic maps exploring and just stopping to look at the scenery. The motion capture of the characters is gorgeous, The interfaces and fighting mechanics are satisfying and solid, but the NPCs can be a little off with how they react to melee weapons. Sadly this is where my review goes askew... The voice acting was rather bland, it felt laboured and not realistic enough. I am deeply disappointed in the shallow story of this title vs the previous. it's watered down, lacklustre and so far in my journey has left me annoyed. It's an R18+ rated title here in Australia. There are some brutal and confronting scenes in this game which invoked some pretty challenging feelings. While this is understandable from the game creators as an artistic work, it doesn't really have the intended effect and makes me feel like I'm being schooled in some sort of morality lesson perhaps? There are some outstanding plot holes, the dead story ends, and some plot points where you feel it may be important, but lead to nothing. I would have hoped that after the years of waiting, a decent progressive story would be the key binding element from the two titles, but alas this did not pan out.

I was simply looking forward to this game in a surreal way, and I understand the fans' anger over Joel's premature death, and I know how it hurt to see the scene of his death. And play with Abby at first it is also extremely painful and sad. But only because of this can we realize that the game is actually a plot of consequences, not just revenge. We realized that everthing that Abby do, and Ellie do, in a unstoppable search to compensate for death is in vain, and it was useless, both lost everything, their friends, their family, just to feel the pleasure of "getting revenge".The way that the game show us that slowly, is awesome and unbelievable, I can say easily that's one of the best games of the generation, and I fell a lot of emotions do from beginning to end. The game demonstrates that in an apocalyptic world, there is no happiness, and good things are minimal. Joel's death was painful, but like so many others, sudden and frightening, in a world of those, there is no heroic death, good or just, everything happens on the basis of survival, nobody is hero, and nobody are bad. I wanted her to pay for the pain she caused to Ellie and Tommy. When that happened i was speechless and cried my eyes out. I don’t care for Abby and wished he had payed. Abby was the playable character for the majority of the game which I don’t think anyone wanted. Ellie let her go in the end which doesn’t make sense. The story line was trash and the ending was trash. Joel killed her father in Salt Lake but did she didn’t think that maybe that’s not what Joel wanted he didn’t wanna lose another daughter which I completely understand. They never asked Ellie if that’s what she wanted. Ellie didn’t know she was going to die from the surgery. Abby needed to let her fathers death go because in a world like that sadly it happens. After waiting 6yrs for a second one i was completely let down and will never play this game again. FYI i did play the game and finished it so i am not judging based on other people and spoilers… Expand

Luego, los giros de tramas son clichés y deux máquina sin sentido, para vender un buenismo ideológico basado en conceptos infantiles; del cual este juego no esta dirigido, sino que esta orientado a personas adultas por el contexto mismo del juego. Un Final inverosímil que no tiene lugar alguno en la realidad (Copia barata de The Walking Dead). Es una lastima, que tanto talento de artistas involucrados en el proyecto, sea pisoteado por personas que quieren vender una agenda política y un ideología tóxica.     It is a senseless, violent and dark game... As a fan of the first game, I feel totally mislead and cheated.
