    First, I have to say, I absolutely love this game. From the phenomenal graphics, for me its the best looking Game on PS4 next to Red Dead Redemption 2, with an absolute incredible sound design and incredible shocking details in the environment, to the frightening but brilliant atmosphere and the brilliant told story, I love every single aspect of this game. I can understand that manyFirst, I have to say, I absolutely love this game. From the phenomenal graphics, for me its the best looking Game on PS4 next to Red Dead Redemption 2, with an absolute incredible sound design and incredible shocking details in the environment, to the frightening but brilliant atmosphere and the brilliant told story, I love every single aspect of this game. I can understand that many players werent really satisfied by some decisions Naughty Dog did with some characters, but to tell the Story so intensive and the message behind it, it was necessary and from my point of view it worked out perfectly. When I watched the Credits i also thought 'Wow, thats hard'. But when I look back at the game I never played a game before that goes so wild with your Feelings. And thats meant positive. This game wont make you happy. But it dont wants to. Ive you want to play a light, fun entertaining Game then play the Uncharted series, also absolute great games. This game is nothing for weak minds. The game tells a story of revenge in a way I never saw before in another game. So I absolutely recommend it. Ive you look at the game apart from the first game, its absolutetly incredible. Dont listen to the frustrated fans. But this is my opinion. I accept it, when someone criticizes the game at hand of examples. But just to say 'the story is boring and the characters are bad!! ' without any reason doesn't counts and is just stupid. The only really small thing i would critize is that the game at some points is a little bit to long and could have been shorter at some points. But in comparison to the positive aspects this nearly doesnt matters.… Expand

    Смерть Джоэла дала Элли смысл жить дальше, ради того чтобы отомстить Эбби, а отпустила она её, потому что она понимала, что больше нет смысла мстить, ей нет смысла больше держать Джоэла и нужно отпустить его душу.

    А чувство пустоты и было задумано в этой игре. Нил Драккман это не тот человек который создаст очередную игру про битву с боссом, нет. Он создал то, что не подумал бы создать иной человек. Он показал то, как месть портит и уничтожает человека внутри. А когда узнаешь о своём враге и о его прошлом, то уже убивать его и желание пропадает.

    This game is **** amazing. One of the best looking games I've ever played. The combat feels great, as does exploring all the amazing scenarios in the game. The story will make you feel all sorts of emotions with its incredible writing and characters. Definitely one of the best games of this generation.

Then I played it for second time to get all achievments and enjoy whole story again. After that I can appreciate what ND made. Whole concept is perfected and story is well served. This story is sad and will make you think about everything that happened thorough both games.

    Personally, I hold The Last of Us parts 1&2 near and dear to me. I believe it's a ground breaking game that shook my to my core story wise. The graphics are phenomenal, they're dark and dirty, not letting you shy away from the spiteful acts your committing. The game play was absolutely amazing in every sense. Such a complex and emotion churning game, I wish I could experience it all overPersonally, I hold The Last of Us parts 1&2 near and dear to me. The game play was absolutely amazing in every sense. Such a complex and emotion churning game, I wish I could experience it all over again.

    The characters were so well developed, humanised and dehumanised in a manner that even the simplest minded bigot could understand. They don't paint anyone to be the hero and show the good and the bad in everyone. There's no good guys and bad guys in this game as seeing all parts of the story shows one that no one is really a hero, no one is really a villain, it's all up to perception. People do good things and bad things and Naughty Dog's "The Last of Us Part II" depicts it perfectly.

    Not to mention the consistent representation of LGBTQ+ throughout parts one and two. It's nice to feel seen and represented in such a manner.

I don’t think I ever seen a game made so much impact on people in general based on comments online. And that says a lot. Naughty dog manages to get everyone emotionally involved. I can’t think of anyone else who manage to do that. I play a lot of games... a lot.... There are not many storylines I can actually remember in detail after a short time. Last of us sticks with me for a lifetime. This game is so well made I sometimes got lost in the beautiful surroundings and fine details... simply stunning. Gameplay is flawless. It gives the player a verity of options on how to play using stealth or go guns blasting. I didn’t even find a bug or glitch in the game. What can I say.

O console se não estiver em um abiente aberto pode esquentar e fazer um pouco de barulho, tem uma gameplay fluida e dinamica com novas mecanicas. a história não me desapontou nem um pouco, pelo contrario, me surpreendeu me fazendo sentir o amor e o ódio que os personagens passaram. O tempo de jogo é um pouco grande para um jogo linear de história
    as vezes sendo cansativo propositalmente; tendo um bom final.
    Um dos melhores jogos que já joguei.

    Добрый день. Игра хорошая, стоит своих денег. Играл на высокой сложности и на прохождение потратил 37 часов. В игре интересно изучать окружающий мир. К сюжету не имею никаких претензий, игра закончилась так, как я и хотел ( возможно это из-за долго прохождения, в последствии которого я проникся обоими персонажами). В игре присутствуют киноляпы.

    The Last Of Us part 2 is the best game experience i had so far from Ps2 until today. The cinematic approach of the game and the creative style of gameplay makes it very organic and natural. The animation of every character is very rich and makes it feel very personal.
    This game is a landmark for video games storytelling.

    NaughtyDog made an amazing job as always, never disappointing in terms of innovation, pleasing their beloved fans and representativity while never thinking about the so-called "pink money". I feel sad that not all gamers managed to have a good experience playing The Last of Us Part II due to their anger towards the mixed feelings and losses during the story or any kind of preconception towards some of the characters, but I feel like this game was a good initiative to make that kind of though change and through dialog change our world to a better place, even if just a little bit.    … Expand

    It’s true craftmanship to push the limits for the PS4 this far. At times it feels next-gen even though it runs in 30fps the animation is smooth, the combat is raw, the sfx is brutal, the voice acting sets a new standard, the storytelling is great (even though it I prefer the more straight forward tone in the first game I appreciate all the attempts to craft a modern approach.

    the last of us part two truly shows how good modern gaming can be, with excellent visuals, gameplay, and characters. The story pulls you in and makes you feel exactly how the characters are feeling. This post apocalyptic masterpiece does not deserve the hate or review bombing it got. 10/10.

    El final original me pareció bien, porque te pone a pensar, vengarte de esa persona te hará mejor que ella? Matarla te hará mejor que ella? Y lo más importante, como serías luego de ello? Te cambiaría a bien o a mal?. Siento que ellie tomo una buena decisión, ya que todo el juego la vemos con un espíritu muy siniestro y apagado y al final cuando logra enfrentar el pasado que obtuvo, termina de la mejor manera, en paz. Y si te pones a pensar, mientras más sed de venganza tenía ella, peor se ponían las cosas. Como cuando muere jesse, el no tuvo nada que ver en la historia de joel y ellie, sólo que la falta de humanidad transformó a todos en lo peor. Sin mencionar que Abby al matar a joel, trajo la consecuencia de muertes de sus amigos supervivientes (los lobos)
    Ojo, no es que piense que estuvo bien la muerte de joel, al contrario, fue muy dolorosa, lo llevo en mi corazón. Sólo pienso que vengarse no iba a solucionar nada. MATAR A ABBY Y A LOS LOBOS no iba revivir a joel. Y eso es lo que el the last of us dos nos quiere enseñar, que cuando en nuestra vida alguien arrebata algo que amas, ya está, son cosas que pasan. Y se que queres vengarte de ello, pero eso nos haría peores humanos, nos transformariamos en algo que nunca quisimos ser.

    Ok I had to create an account just to review this and counter the ridiculously short sighted reviews here. One of the best games I have ever played. Oh and I loved the first game too. Brilliant and bold story telling that clearly most reviewers here are too small minded to understand or appreciate. Brilliant gameplay as well.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Es sin duda una gran pena que miles de personas no hayan sabido valorar como es debido la inmensa creación de la gente de "Naughty Dog". Se puede resumir en muy pocas palabras: Mejor juego del año 2020 y uno de los mejores videojuegos de este siglo. Mi intención no es entrar a la fiera discusión que hubo en su lanzamiento, sino valorar objetivamente esta gran obra de arte.
    Sin duda alguna, es una entrega que lo hace de 10 en muchos aspectos. El principal, en mi opinión, es la narrativa principal. Si bien a muchos fans no les gusto que Joel fuese apartado de la trama en los comienzos del juego, no se puede asignar un 0 a la narrativa y en general a este videojuego por ese hecho. La trama va mas allá de matar a repulsivos y escalofriantes zombis. Es una historia donde prima el drama, la tragedia, la soledad y la tristeza. Una historia cargada de momentos trágicos, como lo son las muertes inoportunas y sorprendentes de muchos personajes que aparecen a lo largo de la historia. También es impactante la forma en que se desarrollan las dos partes de la narrativa. Por un lado la trama de Ellie, su caza fructuosa por Seattle, en busca de una venganza implacable y fría, sangrienta y salvaje. Por otro lado, la emotiva y fiera historia de superación de Abby, que al principio se nos presenta como el principal antagonista de la trama. La trama se desarrolla en 3 días, los 3 de Ellie y los 3 días Abby respectivamente, entrelazándose ambas historias y creando momentos de tensión muy agudos. Lo cierto es que la narrativa es mas extensa (unas 25 horas) que en la primera entrega, pero también es una narrativa con muchos mas personajes, además de que "Naughty Dog" parece que quiso cerrar el circulo con esta entrega, dejándonos seguramente sin "The Last Of Us 3".
    El siguiente aspecto realmente remarcable es el apartado grafico. Sumemos y pensemos por un momento qué serian las escenas dramáticas, nostálgicas y en general sentimentales sin unos personajes con una definición brillante, un entorno cuidado y detallado y por supuesto unas expresiones faciales perfectas. Esto ocurre con esta entrega; el realismo abrumador de todo en general nos hace sentir lo que les ocurre a los personajes, desde lo que se nos cuenta en las espectaculares cinemáticas con un punto de granulado ideal que nos transporta al cine hasta el "gameplay" en general, que también mantiene un tono de cinemática increíble.
    Por otro lado, también destaca en el apartado como yo lo llamo de los "detalles". Son los pequeños detalles los que marcan la diferencia entre un videojuego y un gran videojuego. Por ejemplo, el increíble realismo de la sangre, los desmembramientos a enemigos, la mejora de armas o la rotura de cristales son esos detalles que marcan la diferencia. Otro detalle fascinante es el incremento de pulsaciones y respiración tanto de Ellie como de Abby en combate o en momentos de tensión.
    Otro punto que no quiero dejar pasar sin comentar es el de la inteligencia artificial. Los enemigos, principalmente humanos, cobran una personalidad, un realismo que realmente nos hacen acobardarnos de ellos y sumergirnos en un combate de guerrilla y en el que primara el sigilo y la puntería con nuestras armas y la poca munición de la que disponemos.
    Con todo esto, no podemos negar que no todo lo de este videojuego es brillante, pero en general todo lo que se ve, todo lo que uno puede disfrutar y sentir es asombroso. Sin duda, no esperaba que esta entrega me fuese a fascinar tanto.    … Expand

    Amazing graphics, sound design and atmosphere. One of the best soundtracks in game history and the best writing that has ever been in audio-visual. If you like the first game and think that the second one is ''inconsistent'', you haven't understood the message of both games.

    The biggest surprise was the accessibility options. I was planning to buy it with a price drop but half a month before the launch I heart that there accessibility options. I am visually impaired individual so I wanted to experience a game in a more accessible way. So I’ve pre-ordered the Special Edition so as to show the developers how important is that for me.
    I begun playing the game on 19 of June and I’ve stopped playing on 15 of August. I used the TTS options, the one that makes a sound for enemies and items if you enable it and the high-contrast mode (enemies red – allies blue).

    Outcome:
    It is the 2nd game in witch I have a platinum trophy, and I’ve played a lot of games.
    It was the first time I was playing with my back in the chair. Usually I play with my face 3 inches away from the screen.
    I could read for the first time all the documents (thanks to TTS).
    I have died less times than in other games but every time I was losing I was feeling safe.

    Many thanks to the developers I wish more games were so accessible.

    Finally, a lot of people criticize the game of hidden agendas and other things. I have to say that this is simply a game. If someone wants to disagree with the creators he/she can do that through out civilized ways.    … Expand

    Com certeza um dos melhores games que já joguei, além de todos os quesitos técnicos serem 10/10, foi a primeira vez que senti na pele oq é uma história profunda de verdade, uma história que consegue te destruir, é um verdadeiro misto de sensações toda vez que vou jogar, esse game me marcou de uma forma do qual nenhum outro antes conseguiu, de fato um dos jogos da década.

I looked at negative reviews about this game, many complained about the plot, but to be honest I liked it, they showed that there is not specifically good and evil (here everyone decides to milk themselves), of course it's a pity that the "dogs" killed our beloved anti- hero (based on the first part) and gave way to a new character, like Dina and Jesse, but I'm used to this change (although it took more of the game's half). This game gave me mongo emotions that no other game has given me, for example: When Joel is killed or when Ellie enters an empty house and tries to play “If i ever were to loose you”. Sometimes these moments break through to tears ... In the gameplay component, I did not see so many new mechanics (breaking glass, crawling), but it feels nice enough. As for the continuation of this wonderful series of games, I think that TLOU 2 is concluding, yes there are plot holes, such as (what happened to Abby and Lev, Where did Dina go with JJ (maybe there is a note and I overlooked it, if that I will take this into account in the future), where Ellie went, she may wander around the mainland or went back to Jackson, but I think that for part 3 this is not enough, maximum DLC.     Yahtzee hated TLOU2. Dunkey loved it. Why are these two seemingly honest people saying two different things? It's simple, really: They are two different people.

    They fundamentally uphold different standards when it comes to rating and enjoying games.

    Yahtzee thought it was a horrible time, with uninteresting characters and a prime example of developer crunch.

    Dunkey thought it was a good story, with most of the actions the characters take being in-character, and the ending was the best course of action the devs could have taken.

    So who's wrong? Neither. They're both different people, and like different things. and when we compare that to the rest of TLOU fans, we start to have a revelation: What works for some people won't work for others.

    Cumple con todo en diversión, tensión un gameplay que sorprende y atrapa de principio a fin al igual que la historia. El único fallo del juego es que sin audífonos el audio no es tan bueno ni usa la bocina del mando cosa que hubiera sido algo excelente para ayudar a disfrutarlo sin auriculares

I love Ellie and I only saw things the way she did until playing Abby. I felt for Abby and saw her struggle and pain. I felt this game was so human and raw. This game reminded me that everyone has a story, and no matter the pain one person feels, or the justification they see in their actions, we all are a villain or a hero to someone in this world. Really loved this game 10/10… Expand

    From the beggining, you can't give it less then a eight: the made of this game is absolutly madness, the details are mind blowing.
    I personally broke this game a lot of time, but it's me searching that kind of "fun".
    I had the fortune to play this game without knowing nothing, nothin about rewiev bombing (like you that you're infuriating for my commenyt eghhhhuuuzz), haven't see any trailer; this summer when i had a break during my last job, i was wandering on amazon and i saw tlou part 2, my reaction it has been like OH **** TLOU PART 2?!!!!!
    i bought it for 50 euros and waited three days.
    After this days and a lot of km on bike asking my friends for a ps4, i went home and with and i started playing.
    After few hours, Joel died, I always been a fun of this game, that hurted me a lot, i think i've droppped some tears.
    As me, Ellie start with Dina and than Jesse her revenge trip...but what about her thoughts, her psichology, her focking diary??
    the motion capture has made miracles in this game, **** every one here have ever tried to undertand humns feelings? because these are not characters, they were written to be humans...come on people, you have friends and a relationship with someone...or you're life stop in front of a monitor beacuase if it is, get outside and get a social life.
    Every single action in the game mean something for them, EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM (cit eheh)
    Abby....ohohoh this is fat meat...in the first run I complitly hated Abby, when she died i laughed a lot but during her days, i started to apriciate her; in this game, Abby and Lev are Joel and Ellie, their relationship is the one we missed after Joel's death.

    The final...after all, Ellie is completly broken (if you have red the diary, followed the cut scenes and undertood her feelings you know that) and leave her dream farm with to search herself (if i ever were to lose you, i'd surely lose myself...), she thinks the best way is to kill Abby and she doesn't have killed Abby because if she did, then she surely kill herself.

    A literary masterpiece! A great tragedy that makes you feel a roller-coaster of emotions, and makes it nearly impossible for the player/viewer to pick a side in the conflict. Ethics are not black and white in this story, it is way more complex than thay. It depicts humans at their worst and their best, with all the flaws that make them human. Simply amazing!

    Naughty Dog has been more bold and brutal than ever and has told a story that is as thrilling as hard to swallow. Other than that, the game just oozes quality in pretty much every aspect. It’s lengthy, it’s polished, it’s gorgeous to look and listen to. Masterpiece.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
